Blue Cruise and Leveling

Hey Everyone, I have a simple question. For those of you with Blue Cruise (activated), and put a level on your Tremor, has it impacted it's performance for self driving aids. I work in the automotive tuning industry and lately have been researching ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). For some vehicles, lowering or raising the vehicle will cause issues with the ADAS and make things not work, such as parking sensors or driving aids (lane assist, etc). My friend has a 2019 GMC Denali 6.2, leveled it, and now some of his safety features are disabled. We may be able to recalibrate the ADAS sensors, but that's difficult and pricey. You need the correct tools to do it or a competent shop. So for those of you how have a level and self driving aids, particularly Blue Cruise, has anything caused you trouble with the systems?

I’ve wondered the same things as well as if the headlights self adjust downward back to the correct aim, or does that have to be manually adjusted. I’m not exactly sure how the ride sensors work on these.

I wanted to go with the RC 2.5 Lift Kit for my 2022 F150 Tremor but i don't want to forfeit my Blue Cruise capability... The folks at RC tell me the lift disables the sensors due to height! Ughh~~~ The stock rake is horrible IMO... Any other suggestions anyone?

You can calibrate the ACC sensor in forscan but I don’t think you can do anything with the cameras

How do I get the latest BlueCruise software updates and maps? 

Turn on automatic software updates and set a recurring update schedule, both of which can be done on your in-vehicle screen under Settings > Software Updates . Setting a recurring schedule is especially important for receiving non-drivable updates like new BlueCruise versions. For help, visit our article on how to set a schedule .

It is recommended that you connect your vehicle to a Wi-Fi network , where available, for faster software updates.  

BlueCruise Troubleshooting

Why is bluecruise not working.

To use Ford BlueCruise, you need to activate your FordPass ®** Connect modem and have your Vehicle Connectivity Settings set to On. If your vehicle is eligible for a complimentary trial, BlueCruise will automatically be available once your modem is activated and you have accepted the terms and conditions.  

If you have Ford BlueCruise 1.2 and In-Lane Repositioning or Lane Change Assist are not working, make sure the latest features are set to On by heading over to your in-vehicle screen and selecting Features > Driver Assistance > Adaptive Cruise Control , then toggle On In-Lane Repositioning and Lane Change Assist.

Why do I sometimes get “Watch the road” warnings even though I am watching the road? 

This warning pops up when the driver-facing camera is having difficulty detecting your eyes. This can happen if you look away for too long, if your seat and/or steering wheel are set in a combination where the camera cannot see you or if bright sunlight causes your eyes to squint.  For squinting, try using the sun visor, and/or closing the moonroof shade or wearing sunglasses. 

Ford BlueCruise works with most,  but not all, sunglasses, and it can also recognize your face when wearing face coverings such as masks or religious clothing. However, wearing both sunglasses and facial coverings may obscure too much of your face and make it difficult for the cameras to work properly. † 

Remember that this is a driver-assist feature. You will need to watch the road and be ready to take control at all times.

Tremor newbie.

Moring from Richmond VA, I have a 2022 150 tremor looking to level out the front. some leveling kits say will not work with blue cruise. not sure if I have to go to ford and get it reprogramed or if it will be okay.

Installed 2" ReadyLIFT leveling 1.7mi/kWh after 100 miles

BlueCruise is working well. Driven about 100 miles total with BlueCruise after the leveling kit was installed and not a single issue. Honestly, it seems to work better! Sponsored  

I don't think anyone has tested BlueCruise with a leveling kit installed which is why it was unknown or not compatible. ReadyLIFT said the 2" kit was not tested/compatible with the Lightning, but it was a direct bolt on. So far, the kit has no issues and BlueCruise works well.

Is it level with the 2" spacers? It looks like it needs another .5".... How would you say the tire noise is compared to stock? Looks way better either way than that squatted truck look from the factory.

The reason is because the car was calibrated given a certain height/angle. If the radars are not within factory specs it might miscalculate or just miss things on the road. Is this enough to really make a difference? Who knows.

@romeoz Did you consider any other tires? KO's are my go to also (love them!) but I was worried about the weight difference relatively to the stock options, impact on range, etc.  

Curious though, if the tires will subtract, or improve your hauling capacity? I’m going to add an 1100 lbs camper to mine and don’t want to mess with the tires if it’s not going to help it keep the sticker weight.

“Tasty cocktails and blue Rolls Royce” Review of Aist

Just had dinner at Aist in Moscow, really charming place, beautiful people, inspiring stories, women where super nicely dressed, we wondered if it was for the film festival or this is the myth about how groomed Russian women are. Food was good overall but what is not to miss are the cocktails and the khatchaburi! A kind of Russian heavy cheezy melty delicious pie! A real treat. The terasse on the roof is as charming, but you'd miss the action of the street around and the pople coming in and out, the golden Bentleys, the blue Rolls Royces, summer in the city of Moscow has never been more glamorous and trendy. Nice music, apparently they also host DJ's on certain nights. Service was great. Prices on the high side. But definetly a must. Apparently the owners of this restaurant own a whole bunch of these trendy restaurants. http://www.trendymoscow.com/tag/novikov-group/ I'll definetly check them all out. We we were visiting Moscow and staying at the Marco Polo and came across this restaurant down the street, where we saw Mercedes, Bentleys, a Ferrari, and decide to have early dinner where the beautiful Russia that were driving these cars were dining. We started out with a Russian beer and Vodka and also order a La Mode a drink with crushed ice lemon, oranges, strawberries.Very Pricey! It was excellent, on a hot evening, but very pricey. We ended up having dinner and ordered the fish that excellent cook perfectly. Beautiful people came and went so did the cars. The seafood was excellent so were the drinks. If you want a night of pleasure go to this restaurant. We had a excellent table for people watching, expensive car watching, good food. Expensive wine. Worth going again the next night!

excellent place to hang out in summer, especially the roof terrace in summer is somewhat unreal for Moscow, cool and fancy and lots of green around, and this in the very very center not far from pushkinskaya. kitchen is cool too, not cheap though)) and very nice cocktails .... expect no chance to grab a table on hot summer days

Served us warm oysters. And this was after the server had to check with the kitchen to see if there remained an of these delights. That evening I awaited the gastro surprise, but nothing happened...whew! Grilled octopus was inferior to that at Brix Wine Bar and twice as expensive. Downstairs, with all the smoke was packed. Upstairs, with the clean air, was empty. We sat upstairs with a view to the open kitchen. Wine selection is what I have learned to expect in Moscow, limited selection of reasonably priced wines, limited selection of outrageously priced wines. Very pretty place with attentive staff. I ordered the chef's special for that night, the roasted quail with spinach and it was dried out tough and unappealing. I wonder if the same kitchen serves downstairs and upstairs...because the folks downstairs seem to be having lots of fun while the two upstairs were looking at an evening of the Moscow restaurant formula: big investments in the interior, but not in the food... Bummer

It is always a fantastic dining experience, from both socializing and having absolutely amazing dining experience. Fish is great, but probably the best borsch soup I ever tried
