You will zoom down a total of 14 different cable zip lines, passing over trails, rivers, and the forest canopy. What an amazing experience. Very impressive safety demo and follow through. Make sure you are semi fit as there is a lot of walking and steps but it is worth every drop of sweat as we had the best time! The canopy guides were absolutely amazing! They pay great attention to all of us. We brought our cameras but to be honest, it's not easy to take photos and we didn't need to because of the photographers all along the way! If you bringing a camera, make sure it's a go pro. Have a blast! We will definitely come again. PS. Edgar and Alexis were adorable and amazing

Looking for adventure while staying at the Crown Paradise Golden in PVR, we wanted something to do on Monday, a day before we left the resort. Sunday after dinner we paid for our tour package, courtesy of the activity desk at the resort. We spent $365 on a four person package to go zip lining. We also had to pay 30 pesos each, or $2USD per person for a port fee. This was a buck list activity for an 80-year old who traveled with us. The day started at 10:45am as we walked around the corner from the hotel to the main office for Los Veranos Canopy Tour. Our package included a 35-minute speed boat from the marina to Boca de Tomatlan, a small fishing village that's popular with tourists. The canopy tour was about 6km south of the village, situated in the hills. It was about a 15-20 minute ride in an open truck (covered) that took us from the village to the start of the tour. We were greeted by a male and female, as they explained what we were about to experience and were told to place all our belongings in their supplied lockers. Zip lining required two hand and they recommended you don't bring a camera or cellphone for pictures. We had a chance to use the restrooms before were took a short walk up the hill, were we met as a group, as the staff was introduced, gear was explained and how the zip lines worked. The staff were incredible! Wish I could remember all of them; Pepe, Ramon, Jesus, Alexis (the Russian), Hector (the protector) are a few of the staff I recall but take nothing away from mi amigos I didn't mention by name. Pepe introduced each of them and it was well received from our group (approximately 20). All were professional, experienced and gave us laughter and thrills. Pepe explained our gear, had some gags and humor tossed into to lighten the situation and reassure us the lines and equipment were safe but to follow their instructions when told to do so. Each participant was outfitted with a harness around their waist, gloves and a helmet for the canopy tour. On our walk up the countless steps, we were handed a handle for the line that we carried with us for all 17 zip lines. The most grueling part of the day was climbing the steps between the "base camp" and the first few zip lines. Lots of vertical and on a high 80s environment with high humidity, it was a bit of a challenge, especially for our 80-year old. That said the staff was kind enough to provide a "shortcut" for her as climbing the steps was just too much. They took very good care of her and she fulfilled a buck list item because of the staff. First 5 lines were considered "practice lines" and got progressively higher and longer. The last 12 were the real deal and all exhilarating and exciting. Safety was never in doubt on any of the lines, even if you decided to ride looking at the valley floor and not hanging onto the zip handle. Talk about amazing! The photo doesn't so it justice, the it was fantastic! The day was warm but this was a great adventure that made for a wonderful day and great excursion. The last zip returned us to the base camp as we walked back and shed our gear and we're told to relax, grab some food and drink and relax. It was another 2 hours or so we spent, eating at the restaurant, which was tasty. Spent a just over 1700 pesos or $99 on food with two rounds of drinks. We also bought their supplies picture/video package for 2000 pesos or $115USD. Since we didn't have phones or cameras, we thought this was a great piece we wanted to, so we spent the money on it. Tequila tasting started at 4pm, we never did check out the animal a sanctuary, deciding to I'm just relax at the restaurant until the tasting began. We sampled 4 tequilas from blanco to extra anejo, along with 4 liqueurs. Everything we sampled was really night and ended up spending $84USD on two bottles of liqueur. This ended our day, as we said good bye and boarded the truck to return to Boca for the speedboat ride back to the marina. All in all an amazing experience! 5 stars, above and beyond our expectations. As I said, money WELL SPENT and we will do it again when we return to PVR

My first time zip lining at the request of my friend who's birthday we were celebrating with a trip to Puerto Vallarta. While I am scared of heights, I decided to try and conquer a fear of mine. This experience was so much fun. Pepe and his team were extremely helpful in explaining how the ziplines work as well as reassuring nervous nellies like myself that we would not fall. There's also a photographer among the staff so you can purchase a picture or video package of yourself after completing the ziplines. Something I wish the hotel staff would have told us before booking this excursion is that there are a lot of steps to climb up this hill before beginning the ziplines. On a hot, humid day and not in the best of shape, I was dying climbing all those steps and wish I had work more comfortable clothing and better tennis shoes. However, that didn't change my experience and I'd actually do this again.

While visiting Puerto Vallarta, we decided to do an excursion. We selected the Los Veranos Canopy Tour because, the zip lines had 15 runs total and there were a lot other things to enjoy at the Los Veranos gounds. Getting to and from Los Veranos by a speed boat was so fun! Fernando was absolutely fantastic!! Very informative about everything Puerto Vallarta and super entertaining!! He made the round trip experience a blast! Tony, Bryan and all the zip line staff were great. You feel very safe and informed the entire time and, they ALL have great personalities and sense of humors. The restaurant, Whisky tasting, animal sanctuary, water slide and swimming in the river are all part of the experience. (The restaurant is extra but, the food was good!!) I highly recommend the Los Veranos Canopy Tour when you're in Puerto Vallarta!!!

They are such a wonderful group of people! I did the rope course for zip lining and it is a lot of walking but worth it! Wear comfortable shoes! I have some problems with my mobility and they helped me get thru the course. I highly suggest this place!

Came here today with my family, we had a wonderful experience. We did all 14 zip lines. The crew was great, funny and on top of it. It wasn't too hot Bc most of the time you will be in shaded areas. We wore bug spray but it wasn't really buggy either luckily. After the zip lines we had drinks and lunch there. The food was really good. I thought oh no park food... but I was pleasantly surprised. Everything was made fresh and was delicious! They have a rushing River right there you can swim in. Afterwards we got to hold monkeys! Super neat:) At the end we Sampled 7 tequilas and headed out. Entire tour was About 3.5 hours in total. I highly recommend this tour to anyone in the puerto Vallarta area. The crew will keep you laughing the entire time.

Once you arrive at Los Veranos, you can soar through the lush tropical canopy on our fourteen different zip cables; each run is set up to give riders a an exhilarating yet entirely safe trip high above the forest floor. Your adrenaline will be pumping as each progressive cable takes you higher and each ride moves more rapidly until you are reaching speeds over thirty miles an hour as you zoom above an aw-inspiring ravine with tumbling rapids.

Zip-lining is the focal point of this tour, but hiking through the wilderness to each cable is an adventure unto itself; you will walk by an array of native flora and fauna including iguanas, parakeets, tropical songbirds, bamboo, palm trees, vanilla vines, philodendron, orchids, strangler figs, agave plants, rubber trees, tree-bound termite nests, bromeliads, and orchids; two hundred varieties of orchids and bromeliads grow in this region.
