Cruise to Hamburg, Germany
Hamburg shore excursions, amazing experiences coming soon., sorry, there are no excursions for this port at this moment., things to do in hamburg.
Gain a New Perspective
Frontal view of the town hall in Hamburg, Germany
Hamburg has more museums than almost any other city in Europe, but the best way to gain an education is by visiting the historical sights themselves. Visit the Rathaus City Hall, with a 19th-century facade making for a perfect backdrop for selfies. Then, ascend the steps of the baroque Church of St. Michael to enjoy a panorama from 432 feet in the air.
Venice of the North
A boat traveling through a canal in the famous Speicherstadt warehouse district in Hamburg, Germany
Did you know Hamburg has more canals than Venice? A Hamburg harbor boat trip is one of the most exciting things to do here. Cruise through the historical warehouses along the Speicherstadt canal for a breathtaking experience.
Toast the World
Your Hamburg cruise probably won't stop in the middle of the night, but you can still appreciate the fun of the Sankt Pauli nightlife district. Many of its bars are open during daytime hours. Want to learn about the roots of the local brew? Check out Groninger Privatbrauerei, a baroque building where they brew a much-loved Pils.
Local Cuisine
Food in Hamburg has nothing to do with what you know as hamburgers. Herring is the most common fish here — it's served marinated in vinegar and fried as Brathering , a popular choice for lunch or dinner. Hamburger Hummersuppe , on the other hand, is a creamy lobster-based soup, while Hamburg sweets include sugary Franzbrotchen pastry and Hamburger Speck candies.
In addition to being cosmpolitan and chic, Moenckebergstrasse is Hamburg's most iconic shopping street. Stop in at the aptly named Art of Hamburg near the harbour to find forward-thinking fashions and handcrafted bags and other accessories during your Germany cruise. Take a trip back in time at Walter Eisenberg der Mutzenmacher, a classic hat shop, or take home an ornate beer stein.

Germany Cruise Highlights
Journey to berlin.
Berlin is the capital of Germany and is a city with a dramatic and much-documented history. Once isolated, Berlin today is a bustling multicultural metropolis that’s home to a thrilling arts and culinary scene, as well as ultra-modern architecture. You can see the remnants of the Berlin Wall, visit Checkpoint Charlie, explore opulent palaces, or while away some time in a leafy beer garden.
In Warnemünde, visit the local fish market for some fresh seafood, then amble down the scenic beach promenade, where a long, sandy beach is backed by grass-tufted dunes. Climb to the top of the iconic lighthouse for sweeping views along the coast. Don't miss the opportunity to try a plate of savory herring, a regional specialty, or sample some of Germany's world-renowned beers.

If you're looking to travel beyond Berlin and Warnemunde on your Germany cruise, you'll have ample opportunity to explore the nearby countryside as well. Take a ride through the lush forests of the Mecklenburg Lake District to see Germany's idyllic natural side, or visit Wismar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site boasting picturesque half-timbered houses and medieval churches.

Classic Rhine cruise (Amsterdam-Basel) MS Crucevita
Crucevita was a nice sized boat. Excellent accommodations, clean everywhere, terrific food and good service. Marina, our cruise director, was very helpful. The journey was great. Nice to see all the castles and we enjoyed the stops. Suggestions would be to have more waiters and to improve the drink package. Meals took 1.5 hours which was a little long. Increase the variety of wine for the drink package. Offer wines from the region or even some spirit drinks at reduced cost.
Legendary Rhine Cruise (Mainz-Amsterdam) MS Crucevita
Things to improve: 1) the safety instructions should be given on the first day of the tour and not in the evening of the second day; 2) the bathroom of the cabin had a very bad odor (other passangers also had the same complaint); 3) I would have liked to have had fresh fruit offers as one of the options for dessert. 4) instead of arriving at 3 pm on Amsterdam on the 6th day of the cruise, I think we could have left Cologne earlier the night before; 5) I would have preferred not to have spent around half an hour of our 3 hour tour in Amsterdam in a Café. Other groups in our cruise did not stop and, in my opinion, could take the most out of the 3 hours; 6) the tv channels were mostly German. That does not make sense for me because the majority of the passengers were either Spanish or English speakers. Things that I enjoyed: the personnel, the itinerary.
Romantic Rhine (Southbound) 2024
Far exceeded my expectations. To be clear, I hate traveling, I did it for 40 years and was loath to start again retired. But was I wrong, this was a great trip and vacation. I’ve been on ocean cruises but river cruising is so different. The boat is small, one meets many people, the food (except for one meal) was very good, wines good, excursions good, just well done, well organized, no problems, no mess, just enjoy. Truly is one price. I can’t wait to go back.
Romantic Rhine (Northbound) 2024
The Wi-Fi didn’t work as expected and it caused quite an inconvenience. The excursion plan is not as clear either. Overall it’s still a good tour but I think my last Danube river with Avalon is better than this rhino river cruise.
Classical Rhine Cruise (Amsterdam - Basel) (10 destinations)
A good balance of excursions and relaxation and good food and wine
4 Rivers: The Moselle, Sarre, Romantic Rhine, and Neckar Valleys (port-to-port cruise)
Destinations were good. Staff were very nice and helpful. Cabins clean and tidy. Showers only for the slim and agile. Wifi was OK. Food was OK, with no choices. Wine etc was plentiful. English definitely at a disadvantage with some guides and only two TV channels.

Castles along the Rhine (2024) (Basel to Amsterdam SS Victoria, 2024)
Very nice trip. Your were OK with a few standouts like the vinegar tasting. Wish there had been more lectures and cultures talks. The one about modern German attitudes was particularly fascinating.
The Majestic Rhine (Start Frankfurt, End Zurich)
Was an outstanding cruise. Very well organized and we got exactly out of it what we wanted. Just the right mix of activity with rest.

Great company to cruise with. Ship carries 110 passengers. Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner each day. Plenty of stops to sightsee. The castles along the Rhine make trip a very enjoyable cruise. All staff were great.
I went on this cruise with my 83 year old mum, and we had the best time. The ship was very nice and the crew were all so friendly, from the Captain, to the mangement and reception staff, to the bar and wait staff, kitchen staff and room attendants - they felt like family by the end of our cruise. They also made a big celebration for my mum’s birthday ? Also a big shout out to Jessica, our cruise guide, and Renata the on board entertainer - both beautiful and accommodating ladies ❤️ We saw amazing places and beautiful scenery. The food was first class and the cocktails amazing. I would recommend this cruise to anyone.
It was a great cruise. The food was amazing, the crew was really helpful, and the tours and tour guides were great. The only thing to imporve on if the WiFi which only worked half the time.
