The Circle's Everson Bevelle is director of a cruise company worth billions

The Circle’s Everson Bevelle is director of a cruise company worth billions

He cruised to The Circle apartments and entered as himself, Everson Bevelle. The singleton is determined to make it to the end of season 4, but when he leaves, he’ll be heading back to Carnival Cruise Line – a billionaire company.

Each player on the Netflix show is tasked with trying to win over their fellow contestants, but not in person. It’s all done through a virtual screen, where the stars choose to play as themselves or as a total catfish.

Alert! Everson has joined the series, sharing his bubbly personality and expertise as a former reporter, current photographer and cruise line director with the other players. So, just how luxurious is his life on the outside?

  • OMG: Once you see Sandi Toksvig as Tom Cruise Great British Bake Off will never be the same!

Who is Everson Bevelle?

Everson Bevelle is a 35-year-old cruise line director and contestant on The Circle season 4 . He previously worked as the Man on the Street reporter for Dekalb County television station, and often hosted blues and jazz festivals.

Known as Reverend Dr. E, he entered the competition as himself and is prepared to win. From Atlanta, Georgia, he has lived at sea for ten years, calls himself a “merman,” and even wakes up cruise guests with his own Good Morning song!

His role ashore involves being in charge of all the entertainment on-board. He revealed he gets energy from making people laugh, and works with over 62 nationalities – both skills he has been putting into practice on the series.

Trevor and Emerson.. I love watching you flirt ❤️ #thecircle — Grace🦩 (@gdugann) May 18, 2022

The Circle star is a cruise company director

Everson is the cruise director of Carnival Cruise Line, a role he has fulfilled since January 2014. He was honoured with the leading job after joining the company in April 2011, meaning he has spent over 11 years in the industry.

Talking to Voyage ATL , he spoke about his passion for cruising, and revealed:

The cruise industry I feel like will always have a place. The world 71 percent water. Meaning to get anywhere we sail or fly. After times like these, people want to get away. I know as always, the industry will create new, even better ways to sanitize to keep people safe and secure while away from home.

Before launching himself into the waves, Everson had a close call with almost becoming a lottery man. He was among the top five for the GA lottery talent search for the next host of the GA lottery!

Everson is rarely seen without a suave outfit and bling jewellery, hinting at just how much money he makes. Carnival Cruise Line has a net worth of over $14 billion as of May 2022, according to Macro Trends .

Glassdoor reports that salaries of cruise directors in the US range from $10,187 to $201,145, while Career Bliss has revealed that as Carnival Cruise Line specifically earn $60,000 per year or $29 an hour.

Looking at his Instagram page, he has an Effy ring, a jewellery brand which sells pieces ranging from $1,000 to $50,000. It looks like money is a huge goal for the Netflix star though, as he hopes to get his hands on the $150,000 cash prize!

Eversen From The Circle Has Built A Career On Making People Smile

Meet the cruise director hoping for smooth sailing.

Eversen Bevelle as Eversen The Circle Season 4. Courtesy of Netflix © 2021.

The fourth season of Netflix’s The Circle is already in full swing. The reality show that’s best known for its outsized cast members and social media antics is no stranger to adding atop that cast throughout each cycle. Season 4 is proving no different, as yet another late addition to the complex has arrived, and his name is Eversen Bevelle. However, it remains to be seen if Eversen’s delayed arrival will be to his advantage, or just put a target on his back.

If anyone can handle arriving late in the game, Eversen seems like a great candidate. He considers himself a “social catalyst” who can take “people from all walks of earth and [bring] them together through laughs and love,” as he told VoyageATL in 2020. Plus, he has the work experience to back up that claim. Here’s everything to know about Eversen, including his job, Instagram, and how he may play The Circle .

Eversen’s Job

If you’re looking to hit the high seas, but only want to do so on a commercial-sized vessel with a niche Netflix celebrity, then a Carnival Cruise may be for you. According to Carnival Cruise’s official schedule Eversen “Dr. E” Beville is set to serve as a cruise director through May 16. At this point, he’s already a veteran, with 10 years with the company under his belt.

View on Instagram

Eversen celebated that decade in a March tribute on Facebook . “10 years Carnival Cruise Line wow what a ride ! Sea what I did there,” he started. He thanked the cruise line and shared that he “wouldn’t trade [his] experiences for the world,” especially being able to “touch lives, impact hearts, bring smiles” to others. To conclude his post, he worked out the math for just how many people that would be, and he figures he’s made roughly 1.8 million passengers smile during his tenure.

There’s a lot of charisma that comes with being a cruise director ; they’re chiefly responsible for making sure all the passengers enjoy themselves. They’re kind of like the ringmaster of a circus, being that they’re in charge of events, activities, shows, and the enjoyment of the patrons. This includes supervising everything from massive onboard productions to mainland tours, and it could pay off on The Circle .

Eversen’s Instagram

In similar fashion to his Facebook account, on which he describes himself as a comedian, Eversen’s Instagram is proof that he’s an entertainer. That’s very apparent across his feed, whether it’s Eversen cracking jokes about baby fever or daylight saving time . He’s also a singer, having just dropped a tune titled “ Good Morning ,” which is available on both Spotify and Apple Music. If his entertainment stylings don’t do it for you, you can always stay for the fitness content, of which there’s a fair amount, including personal training sessions and guided workouts .

Eversen’s Circle Strategy

You can learn a little more about Eversen from his Voyage ATL interview. Evidently, Eversen got his start as an entertainer while working as a man-on-the-street reporter for a Dekalb County, Georgia, television station. From there, he began hosting blues and jazz festivals before working with Carnival. “This ride has been smooth. Everything I’ve done has been in the career I wanted it to be in,” he said. “Every role I found a place I’ve worked it’s because I went after it.” He also added, “Right now and always, I specialize in smiles and a good atmosphere.” All of which amounts to a career built on charisma and the ability to make people enjoy his presence. Needless to say, those are two assets that are invaluable to success on The Circle, but we’ll have to wait and see if anyone will try to take the wind out of his sails.

Eversen Bevelle Is Playing to Win on 'The Circle' Season 4 –– Who Is He?

Stephanie Harper - Author

May 11 2022, Published 6:32 p.m. ET

Just about everyone with a Netflix subscription is hopping on to binge-watch The Circle Season 4. After all, the first three seasons were absolutely epic. The Circle is one of the most enjoyable social media shows in existence. Who would’ve thought creating a popularity contest with social media influencers, a ranking process, and the chance to participate as a catfish would be such a hit?!

The catfishes playing on The Circle tend to make each episode a lot more interesting, but they also add to the complexities of the game. Right now, a lot of people are curious to know about Eversen Bevelle. Here’s some information on the Season 4 player.

Who is Eversen Bevelle from 'The Circle' Season 4?

Eversen is certainly the cast member from Season 4 of The Circle who has the most experience with blues and jazz music. He’s hosted tons of music festivals and worked as a TV station reporter in the past. Photography is another of his talents; Eversen proves that being multi-talented will help you stand out in any crowd. Back in 2014, he also worked as a cruise director for Carnival Cruise Line.

As of now, Eversen has over 17,900 Instagram followers keeping up with his daily activities. When filming his cast reveal video for The Circle Season 4, he described himself as being the life of the party! Making people laugh and spreading positive vibes through active communication are some of this Circle player's favorite things to do.

Is Eversen Bevelle participating on 'The Circle' Season 4 as himself or as a catfish?

A lot of people immediately disapprove of catfish players on The Circle because they feel anyone winning such a hefty amount of money should be playing as their truest, most authentic self. The good news for those viewers is that Eversen is most definitely playing as himself. Eversen entered The Circle Season 4 as a single man ready to mingle with other players in the game.

Will Eversen take home the grand prize? That remains a mystery, as only the first eight episodes are available on Netflix right now. A lot of people are keeping their fingers crossed in the hopes that Eversen will ultimately come out on top since he has such a fun personality.

Episodes 1 through 8 of The Circle Season 4 are available for streaming on Netflix now. Episodes 9 through 12 will be available on May 18. The finale episode premieres on May 25.

Where is Eversen From The Circle Now?

Shraman Mitra of Where is Eversen From The Circle Now?

Taking on the guise of a modern-day social media platform through its interesting premise, Netflix’s ‘ The Circle ‘ is an exciting game show that has its contestants reside in separate apartments. Although the contestants are completely isolated from the rest of the world, they are only allowed to interact with each other through a specifically made social media platform, which deals in texts and images. Naturally, like most real-world social media platforms, the one in the show encourages anonymity, making the strategy of catfishing an efficient one if played correctly.

Fans were quick to take to Eversen Bevelle and his cheerful personality after he was introduced in ‘The Circle’ season 4. While his job as a cruise entertainment director made fans curious, Eversen entered the game as himself, hoping to charm his fellow contestants on his way to the top. However, with filming now ended, viewers are quite eager to find out where Eversen is at present. Well, worry not because we come bearing answers!

Who Is Eversen Bevelle?

Eversen Bevelle’s charming yet warm personality was what won fans over to his side right from the moment he was introduced on the show. A native of Atlanta, Georgia, he grew up in a loving family and still maintains a solid bond with them to this very day. Eversen even credited his mother with his success and mentioned that she sacrificed a lot to give him the very best. Upon entering his professional life, Eversen began working as the Man on the Street Reporter for Dekalb County television station before being employed as a nightlife photographer by ATLPics.

dr e cruise director

However, willing to live a life at sea, the Atlanta native joined the Carnival Cruise Line in 2011 and just three years later, was promoted to the position of a cruise director. While on ‘The Circle,’ Eversen decided to enter as himself because he believed that he would be able to charm his way to the very top. Although the going was challenging initially, and Eversen faced a lot of worthy opponents, he soon fell into his groove and began building solid alliances with the likes of Frank, Yu-Ling, Nathan, and Rachel.

Besides, other contestants seemed to take a liking to the Cruise Director, and pretty soon, he found himself being ranked relatively high in the ratings. Interestingly, Eversen even appeared to share a flirtatious relationship with Imani, although the Atlanta native had no idea that Trevor was using Imani’s picture as a catfish. Eventually, the cruise director’s alliance with Frank paid off as the latter was able to send him into the finals while blocking Nathan at the same time. However, Eversen’s run finally ended in the finale when he ended the season in the fifth position.

Where is Eversen Bevelle Now?

Ever since filming ended, Eversen fell back into his everyday groove and has seemingly gone back to his job as a cruise director. In fact, while on the show, he even went into the details of his work and mentioned that, at present, he is in charge of the entire entertainment itinerary for the whole cruise. A quick glance through his social media does make his work appear interesting.

View this post on Instagram A post shared by Eversen Bevelle (@reverend_dr_e)

Moreover, it seems like Eversen has managed to earn a lot of reputation in his field. Unfortunately, the Atlanta native has always been secretive about his personal life, and there is no indication of him being in a relationship. Still, with Eversen now leading a happy and independent life, we wish him all the success in his future endeavors.

Island girl was cruise director on my first cruise on fantasy. I haven’t seen or heard of her since.

Ben Lambert was cruise director on a few ecstasy cruises and was awesome as well.

finally, Emma on the sunshine was great.

the rest of them I don’t really remember

We have been on about 16 carnival cruises, and until our cruise director was Cookie (I believe on the Breeze) recently, I never really took notice of the cruise director.

He is awesome, quite the personality.

I especially liked Stu (don’t know his last name) from the Spirit.  He’s an Aussie and he returned to Australia when the Spirit went down under.

I really enjoyed Gary on the Magic (though he's leaving the fleet for a job on the mainland after this contract) -- it was the sailing restart, so there weren't many of us on-board and he was always kind to have a conversation about the ship or his career experience in making it to cruise director.

Mike Pack on the Mardi Gras was outstanding -- in fact, the whole Fun Squad on that ship was awesome. I think both Andy from the Punchliner and Bingo Host Jake will be excellent new CDs when their time comes!

We always remember and loved Weeeee Jimmy....but I know people either loved or hated him.

After our recent Pride cruise I put on an excel sheet of all our cruises, ports and CD’s.  Matt Mitchum(with Cookie) on Vista, Mike Pack on Horizon but on my17th cruise on the Pride we had Frankie and he has to be my favorite.

I like to think we had a love hate relationship with wee Jimmy.

Irritating and yet he kinda grew on you!

Funny you say that. I didnt like him or "get him" at first but a day or two in he really grew on me. We ended up having a blast with him.

Cookie. We were on the Vista with him, Matt, MarQ and NoNo. They were all great but Cookie we literally booked the Liberty because Cookie was the CD.

The ones I remember:

Chris "The Flying Scotsman"- insanely talented singer and performer, he's the best CD we've had.

"Donkey" Salazar- much more reserved than Chris, he was a lot of fun and knew how to stay out of the way (and kept announcements to a minimum).

The "Reverend Dr E"- also very talented and a lot of fun.

We also had one we hated, his first name was "Jace" but I can't remember his last name. I just remember he thought he was talented and funny, but he wasn't. He also didn't seem capable of leaving the PA system alone...

Mike Pack on the Breeze was fantastic.

I also really liked Felipe when he was on the Valor out of Puerto Rico.  Woohoo! Lol

Also the Flying Scotsman our first time on the Vista

I can't say I have one.  CD's are truly an oversight and many times an annoyance for us on a cruise.

Frankie Portera. He normally sails from Tampa on the Spirit class ships. He is a very regular guy. You see him all over the ship and he wllingly answers questions from the passengers. He is very approachable. He isn’t annoying.

xDisconnections

Most memorable in a good way:

Butch, Wee Jimmy, MarQ, Dan Falconer and our most recent one was a British gentleman named Andy on Regal Princess.

Most memorable in a bad/unfortunate way:

Malcom Burns, John Heald and Jen Baxter

Agreed! Frankie was great on my recent Pride cruise for this reason. Seems like a normal guy and didn’t irritate me. A much more “adult” cruise director than some of the others.

Recently found Felippe, on the other hand, to be more annoying than anything. He also encouraged nonsense.  I’m sure he’s a really nice guy but it was just too much.

Kyndall Fire!

Big Sexy on the Glory and Leon on the Paradise.  I have never met another human being with as much enthusiasm as Leon!  He exhausted me just watching him... he was literally everywhere on the ship.

Another vote for Matt Mitcham!  So full of energy!  Sad he is no longer a CD.

Anyone know where Rev. Dr. E is?

"Live from...."

I really enjoyed Marcelo when he was on the Fascination out of San Juan. I think he moved over to Royal Caribbean now. Leon on the Paradise in March 2020 was also such a nice guy!

Slightly off topic-Jacky from NCL is one of my favorites. I think he's on the NCL Escape now. On Royal, Hugo from Adventure OTS seemed nice, but was literally never to be seen.
