The Golden Triangle with Shimla tour is an enthralling tour connecting cities of Delhi, Jaipur, Agra , and Shimla for eight days and nine nights. The itinerary is perfect to appeal the tourist within you. Professionals have thoughtfully planned it. The tour begins with a cheerful staff waiting to welcome you to Delhi. You will be transferred to your hotel for a comfortable night stay. The next day will start by sightseeing in Delhi. We will cover major tourist locations like Qutub Minar, Lotus Temple, the India Gate, the Raj Ghats (Gandhi Memorial) and drive past President's House and Parliament House. In the afternoon, we will start our drive to Jaipur. After a safe overnight stay, our third day embarks excursions to Amber Fort (an elephant ride), Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), City Palace Museum and Jantar Mantar. Dinner is prearranged at the authentic Chowki Dhani.

A drive from Jaipur to Agra via Fatehpur Sikri marks our fourth day. We explore the beautiful town of Fatehpur Sikri by visiting The Buland Darwaza, Palace of Jodha Bai, Birbal Bhawan and Panch Mahal. The fifth day is devoted to significant monuments like the grand Taj Mahal and Agra Fort . In the afternoon, we drive back to Delhi. The morning of the sixth day transfers us to New Delhi railway station for board train to Kalka which upon arrival connects toy train to Shimla. We explore Shimla on the seventh day by visiting Jakhu Hill, city's highest peak, St. Michael's Cathedral and State Museum. In the afternoon, we take a trip to Kufri leading to Mahasu Peak. The eighth day is devoted for your relaxation and freedom to explore Shimla. We drive to Kalka on a ninth day to board a train to Delhi.

• 01 Day: Abroad – Delhi. Welcome to Colourful Indian Holidays . On arrival at Airport you will be received by our representative and assisted to your hotel. Overnight at Delhi.
• 02 Day: Delhi – Jaipur drive (250 Km/ 5 hrs) After breakfast sightseeing of Delhi. Visit the Qutub Minar, Lotus Temple, the India Gate, the Raj Ghat (Gandhi Memorial), enjoy the Rickshaw ride and drive past President’s House and Parliament House. Afternoon drive to Jaipur, upon arrival check into hotel for 02 nights stay. Overnight stay at Jaipur.
• 03 Day: Jaipur. After breakfast proceed for excursion to Amber Fort in the outskirts of Jaipur followed by Elephant ride to the fort. Stop for photography at Jal Mahal and visit Palace of Winds better known as Hawa Mahal, City Palace Museum and Jantar Mantar (Observatory). Later walled city tour by walk: Start point : from City Palace via Tripolia Gate (Entrance gate of Royal Family), covering the beautiful Jaipur city centre with daily routine colourful life and vibrating pink city, old Bazaars from spices to the exquisite Jaipur savior, visit Bangles street from the smell of tea spices with flower Incenses street. Ending with a beautiful city view. • 04 Day: Jaipur – Agra drive (240 Km/ 6 hrs) via Abhaneri & Fatehpur Sikri After breakfast you drive to Agra. Enroute visit Abhaneri (95 Km from Jaipur): The small village of Abhaneri has one of India’s deepest and largest step wells (also known as tank gardens). Step wells are unique to India . Also visit Fatehpur Sikri (old deserted town of Mughal Dynasty) visiting The Buland Darwaza / Palace of Jodha Bai / Birbal Bhawan & Panch Mahal. On arrival at Agra our company representative would assist you to check in hotel. Overnight at Agra.
• 05 Day: Agra – Delhi drive (205 Km/ 3 hrs) using expressway Taj visit by sunrise Taj Mahal (closed on Friday) – the most extravagant monuments ever built for love Mumtaj Mahal by Emperor Shah Jahan in 1633. Back to hotel for breakfast and visit to Agra Fort. The visit to Agra Fort is must since so many historical events took place here. • 06 Day: Delhi – Kalka by train no. 2011 at 0740 / 1145 hrs & Kalka – Shimla by train no. 255 at 1210 / 1720 hrs Morning transfer to New Delhi railway station for board train to Kalka, upon arrival connecting toy train to Shimla. Excellent - Golden Triangle with Shimla Tour

I went to India last month with my best friends. We had planned to visit the Golden Triangle. We had also decided to visit Shimla in Himachal Pradesh region and Chandigarh. Our trip started from Delhi. We had booked the Royal Plaza hotel in Delhi. This hotel was as royal and majestic as its name. It was decorated with antique Roman statues, Swarovski crystal chandeliers and European paintings. There was wide variety in cuisine and the food which was served to us was also too delicious! The hotel provided us with the driver whose name was Dharmendra and he was with us on the whole trip. Our trip got more comfortable because of the car we had hired. The Innova Crysta was very spacious and sufficient for the four of us! Next day, Dharmendra took us to Red fort and Qutub Minar. We enjoyed while taking lots of selfies. Also, one of my friend who is fond of photography captured beautiful shots in his camera. We came back to hotel, packed our bags and left for Jaipur.

Dharmendra drove us to the Ramada Hotel in the pink city of Jaipur. The hospitality of the hotel staff were just what is needed to refresh a tired traveler! Next day we went to see the magnificent Amber Fort and Albert hall Museum. The museum had preserved the Rajasthani Tradition and the architecture of every fort we visited was wonderful! We ate some delicious dinner at Indiana Hotel and enjoyed the Rajasthani dance as well. India is the only country which is famous for its rich diversity and culture and we were able to connect to this statement all the while when we were visiting different places. We enjoyed shopping in the colourful markets and bought many Rajasthani handicrafts. We went to Abhaneri Stepwell and to the grand City Palace. I must say Rajputs had a very lavish lifestyle! We learnt a lot about their costumes, food and customs. This was a very exciting learning experience as well.

Our next destination after Jaipur was Agra. Before we went to our hotel, Crystal Sarovar, we went to visit the Taj Mahal. We all became fan of the Mughal architecture after seeing this extremely beautiful monument which is a symbol of Love.

After Agra, we went to Chandigarh and stayed at Lemon Tree hotel. Since we were tired, we just ate our lunch and slept for the whole day. In evening, when we woke up we went to the popular Rock Garden and enjoyed eating some snacks. Our next destination was much awaited one! We planned to stay at Combermere Hotel in Shimla. We had heard a lot about the services of this hotel and were happy to select this for our stay. We ate our breakfast and went to Kufri which was just a forty minute drive from Shimla. The moment we went there we all were awestruck with the beauty of the snow covered mountains. All the tiredness just flew away! We enjoyed horse riding and were lost in absorbing the mesmerizing beauty. We came back to our hotel packed in our jackets and boots and took some rest.

We came back to Delhi, boarded the flight for Malaysia and went back while taking beautiful memories in our hearts.

Excellent Tour Company, enjoyed our Golden Triangle and Shimla Package

I got very excited when I got to know that my parents had decided to visit to India on my twentieth birthday. I was on the seventh heaven and started dreaming about the trip from the moment I came to know about it. So let me tell you everything about my trip to Delhi, Jaipur, Agra, Chandigarh and the queen of the hills - Shimla!

When we landed in Delhi we went to the Lemon Tree Hotel in Aerocity. We enjoyed and relaxed while bathing in the pool. We were then served with a delicious soup and after that we savoured North Indian cuisine for our dinner. The hotel provided us a comfortable Innova Crysta with an experienced driver- Ashok.

Next day, we went to many monuments like Jama Masjid, Qutub Minar and Red fort. We enjoyed eating the street foods and capturing the city through our lens. In the night before leaving Delhi, we watched the musical fountain show at the Akshardham Temple.

We came back to our hotel, packed our bags and departed for Jaipur. The admiration for this colourful city is something beyond words. We reached the Golden Tulip Hotel after a long six hours drive. I must appreciate the driving skills of Ashok who was selecting the shortest routes and kept us engaged by imparting his knowledge about every place we were visiting. The services of the hotel were excellent! The room gave us the clear view of the Nahargarh fort. Next day we went to Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar and City Palace. The architecture of every fort of Jaipur was too captivating and attractive. The intricate designs had left us spellbound.

Our next destination was the beautiful city of Agra. I had learnt about the ‘Seven wonders of the World’ in fourth class and finally going to see one! We all got engrossed in the beauty of the Taj Mahal, once we caught the sight of it. Our hotel Crystal Sarovar welcomed us with their fantastic hospitality. We bought the famous sweets of Agra city and souvenir from the market.

After this we headed to Chandigarh. We relaxed at Lemon Tree hotel. We went to Rose Garden and spent a pleasant evening there. The garden has 825 varieties of flowers and 32,500 varieties of trees and medicinal shrubs. The aroma of the environment was not allowing that place but finally we came back to hotel to get ready for our next spot-Shimla.

Next day we departed for Shimla early morning and reached there within four hours. We had booked the iconic Combermere Hotel for our stay. After relaxing for a while in the hotel, we enjoyed our breakfast and then went to Christ Church. We bought handicrafts made by local citizens, from the Mall Road. We departed for Kufri- the adventurous tourist spot of the Shimla. We immensely enjoyed skiing and horse ride. Till then, Ashok had also got comfortable with us and he too enjoyed a lot with us. We ate some hot and spicy Maggie in the freezing environment.

We were soaking the beauty of the snowy mountains into ourselves. This is how, my birthday week was made unforgettable!!
