Enjoy the natural beauty of the Adirondacks with a summer cruise on Lake George, which in 1755 was named in honor of England’s King George II.  After boarding the Lac du Saint Sacrement, the largest cruise ship on the inland waterways of New York State, we will embark on a two-hour voyage and see the stately Sagamore Resort, Bolton Landing, as well as island campsites that make this area one of the most popular vacation destinations in the Northeast. 

While on our journey, buffet lunch will be served and will include: Soup du Jour, Tossed Salad, Assorted Salads, Tomato & Cucumber Trays, Fresh Baked Rolls with butter, Two Hot Entrées (Chef’s Choice), One Vegetarian Entrée (Chef’s Choice), Freshly Carved Deli Sandwiches with choice of Ham, Beef, or Turkey; Assorted Breads, Assorted Cheeses, Coffee, Tea, Iced Tea, and Dessert.

After the cruise, we will have free-time do take in what the Lake George Village has to offer.  There are many things to see and do to further enhance the enjoyment of this trip. Take some time to enjoy the shops, mini golf, wine tasting, and more.

Lunch Cruise

We took a 2 hour lunch cruise on Lake George. Boarding was easy and when you board you are met with a line of servers and shown to your table. The food was excellent and more than met our expectations. Live entertainment was nice and after lunch a lot of fun.

We only had a few hours to spend in Lake George, and the steamboat tour was perfect. No advance reservations were needed. We got to see the beautiful lake and surrounding area with a little history thrown in to make it even more interesting.

Taking a few days at Lake George after Columbus Day leaves one with a very limited selection of activities to enjoy. We took the luncheon cruise on the St. Sacrement and it was a true five star trip. From beginning to end, all the people working for the cruise line were upbeat, polite, friendly and efficient. Nowhere was a tip jar that I saw and the servers who worked the buffet lunch and served drinks and desserts to the tables were extremely pleasant. You don't have to take the buffet and can just go along for the ride for a lower cost and there are cash bars for alcohol as well as selling snack foods. The combination entertainer, tour guide & social director was excellent and a truly gifted musician and he really kept the show going throughout the trip and if anybody deserved a tip jar it was him but it wasn't there. I think his last name is Lombardo though I am not sure. It is a great trip for all ages and in all weather conditions as much of the boat is enclosed and heated which was nice as we were there on a blustery day. It will stop running soon but I am not sure when. The lake does freeze in winter after all. The two hour duration of the trip is just right and with the entertainment and scenery, the time flew by.

October 10 my wife and i went on the dinner cruise on the lac du saint sacrement and had a ball! they celebrated octoberfest onboard with a live band and german food. We have been to 4 dinner cruises on this same ship and have thoroughly enjoyed all of them. Great food, drinks and service always, along with a smooth narrated tour of lake george. Rest assured we will go on many more dinner cruises here. From jim and mari

We opted for the 1 hour tour of Lake George, NY. We took the Mini Ha Ha paddle wheel boat. We sat on the second level outside on the front of the boat. The captain was very informative about the many attractions and history of Lake George. At the beginning and end of the trip the captain will sound the steam calliope. Great way to spend an hour and learn the history of Lake George.

This is well worth the money. Tour was informative and the views were beautiful. I suggest the island tour if you are new to the area. It shows you half of the lake and tells you about the area.
