Machine Gun Kelly announced the dates for his extensive “Mainstream Sellout” global arena tour on Monday (March 21), which will take the “Emo Girl” rap-rocker from Jacksonville to Louisville, Detroit to Denver and just about everywhere in-between from June 8 before heading overseas in September for a month-long string of European shows.

Along the way he’ll be surrounded by a bunch of his good friends, with special guests on the ride including Avril Lavigne, Travis Barker, Blackbear, Tripie Redd, Iann Dior, PVRIS and 44phantom opening up on select dates. MGK’s biggest swing to date and his first arena run will hit 52 buildings across North America and Europe, including a gig at the largest venue in his hometown: FirstEnergy Stadium in Cleveland.

The North American portion of the Live Nation-promoted tour is slated to kick off on June 8 with a gig at the Moody Center in Austin, Texas, followed by shows in Houston and Dallas before moving on to a pair of dates in Florida, then swings through Atlanta, Boston, Philly, New York, Toronto, Los Angeles, Seattle, St. Louis and Indianapolis before the big finale in northern Ohio.

The 15-stop European leg is slated to kick off on Sept. 17 with a show at Lanxess Arena in Cologne, Germany, before moving on to shows in Frankfurt, Milan, Paris, London and Dublin before winding down with a gig at AFAS Live in Amsterdam on Oct. 12. Tickets for the tour in support of the upcoming Mainstream Sellout album (March 25)  — with features by Willow, Lil Wayne, Iann Dior, Young Thug, Gunna and more — go on sale beginning Friday (March 25) at 10 a.m. local time here .

It’s the rap superstars first arena tour of the UK and tickets are expected to fly out when they go on sale Friday 25 March at 9am.

Machine Gun Kelly announces Mainstream Sellout arena dates in UK, Europe and U.S.

Machine Gun Kelly will be hitting arenas all across the globe on his Mainstream Sellout run, which features support at various dates from Avril Lavigne, Travis Barker, blackbear, Trippie Redd, WILLOW, iann dior, PVRIS and 44phantom.

With his new album Mainstream Sellout arriving this Friday (March 25), Machine Gun Kelly has just announced a colossal global arena tour in support of the record.

First up, MGK will be touring across the U.S. from June through to August, with support coming from Avril Lavigne , Travis Barker, blackbear, Trippie Redd, WILLOW , iann dior, PVRIS and 44phantom at various dates. Then he'll cross over to Europe and the UK in September and October, joined by iann dior and 44phantom.

Notable stops on his first-ever full arena tour include a hometown stadium show in Cleveland at the FirstEnergy Stadium, a date at New York's iconic Madison Square Garden, and, on this side of the pond, a headline performance at London's OVO Arena Wembley.

Tickets go on sale this Friday, March 25, at 10am local time.

Machine Gun Kelly has announced his "Mainstream Sellout" Tour for 2022 ahead of the album release of the same name. The new record will be MGK's first since 2020's "Tickets to my Downfall."

His latest single, "Maybe" (which features British rock band Bring Me The Horizon), is the fourth single to have been released from the forthcoming record, after "Papercuts" (in August 2021) "Emo Girl" (February 2022, featuring Willow) and "Ay!" (earlier this month, featuring Lil Wayne).

Tweeting about the single, MGK posted, "AHHH!!! 2 million streams in 24 hours on just ONE of the platforms. biggest premier yet."

In an interview about the new album during BBC Radio 1's Future Sounds with Clara Amfo, Machine Gun Kelly said that the album's title "feels like taking the power back" and that "there's such an epidemic, and has been for years, of Rock n' Roll gate-keeping or punk rock gate-keeping."

The former rapper has not only hit the headlines for his musical output of late but it was widely reported back in January that he was engaged to actress Megan Fox (Transformers, Jennifer's Body and How To Lose Friends and Alienate People).

Machine Gun Kelly live in London: pop-punk spectacle with stadiums in its sights

Wembley Stadium, October 1: the prince of the resurgent genre proves its comeback is more than just a phase

“Welcome to the best show on earth, motherfuckers,” declares Machine Gun Kelly midway through the first UK date of his ‘Mainstream Sellout’ world tour . It’s a swaggering bravado that dominates the two-hour, 29-track show from its first seconds, when he appears on Wembley Arena’s stage via pink helicopter. Later, a giant inflatable creature appears, seemingly borrowed from Muse ’s big box of spectacular tricks, and there’s also so much fire that stagehands have to physically push the backdrop away from the eruptions so the sold-out venue doesn’t burn down.

At one point, MGK tells the crowd the owner of Reading & Leeds is watching tonight’s show (“I think one day very, very soon, Machine Gun Kelly should be headlining that festival”) before going on to talk about watching Foo Fighters play the venue next door in 2008. “My goal is to play Wembley Stadium,” he declares.

It might sound arrogant, but Machine Gun Kelly has the songs to back it all up. Across the mammoth set, he veers between angsty pop-punk (‘Concert For Aliens’), atmospheric stadium rock (‘Lonely’), trap (‘Don’t Sleep, Repeat’ with support act 44phantom), a medley of heartfelt acoustic tracks and intense rap (‘Floor 13’) with the crowd lapping up every shift with the same excitable reaction. Skepta appears early on for a hammering rendition of ‘Praise The Lord’ while later on, Yungblud joins him for a hyperactive ‘Acting Like That’ and breakout anthem ‘I Think I’m OKAY’, which helped kickstart the whole pop-punk revival back in 2019. Tonight is proof it was so much more than a phase.

Machine Gun Kelly is looked down on by a lot of the people who lived through the original ‘00s boom of the genre, and during the show, that inflatable monster – representing The Internet – vocalises anonymous criticisms about the star. “You’re a poser, you can’t play guitar, I thought you were supposed to be a rapper.” A fiery ‘Papercuts’ explains how he “saw the limit, and took it farther”, while after the song, he tells the crowd to “never listen to an invisible room full of insecure fucks. You always stay true to what you love. Thank you for having the balls to be yourself.”

There might be a lot of nostalgia in Machine Gun Kelly’s music, with its nods to Blink 182 , Sum 41 and Guns N’ Roses , but the majority of the crowd tonight isn’t old enough to have lived through it before. More than that, though, he uses the songs to talk bluntly about everything from smoking weed to depression, loss and isolation. “If you ever feel lonely, just press play and I’m right here,” he says. Later, he speaks about touring with “one of the greatest bands of all time”, Linkin Park , and the loss of vocalist and “great human being” Chester Bennington . “I encourage you to go live this short life. I know this shit is fucking hard, but nights like this make it worth it.” It’s little wonder an entire generation looks up to him.

Making Wembley Arena feel intimate, Machine Gun Kelly owns the stage for the duration of the concert. Backed by a five-piece band, the aggressive moments from his past two albums shake the foundations of the venue while cuts from the rap-heavy ‘Hotel Diablo’ inspire countless moshpits. The last time he was in London, it was at Brixton Academy, “and it didn’t look like this,” laughs MGK before promising, “We are just beginning”. After tonight’s show, all bets are off about what comes next.

The international rap and pop-rock sensation will headline UK arenas this October for his Mainstream Sellout Tour

Machine Gun Kelly has announced UK dates for his 2022 Mainstream Sellout Tour . Tickets go on sale at 9am on Friday 25 March. See a full list of tour dates and venues below.

The tour shares the name with the performer's upcoming album, set to release on Friday 25 March. Support for the UK shows will come from Iann Dior and 44phantom.

The rap, rock and hip-hop star's latest album is 2020 release Tickets To My Downfall which features the hit single 'Bloody Valentine'. The track's official video which stars girlfriend Megan Fox and won the MTV Music Video Award for Best Alternative Video, accumulated over 4 million views in under 24 hours.

The album features singles such as 'Think I'm Okay', 'Forget Me Too' and 'All I Know' which sees the controversial performer work with chart-topping artists such as Yungblud, Halsey and Trippie Redd. His most recent collaboration is 'Emo Girl', a punky pop-rock track featuring Willow Smith.

The viral icon rose to success with his debut album Lace Up which flew to the number two spot on Billboard's R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. MGK's last appearance in the UK was during last year's festival season when he took to the stage at Reading, Leeds and ALT + LDN festivals.

The “Mainstream Sellout” tour kicks off in Austin, Texas on Wednesday, June 8th and covers both coasts and every major North American city in-between at a breakneck pace before wrapping with a hometown show in Cleveland, Ohio on August 13th.

The 15-stop European leg begins in Cologne, Germany on Saturday, September 17th and hits cities like Brussels, Milan, Paris, and London before concluding in Amsterdam on Wednesday, October 12th.

Machine Gun Kelly (MGK) brought his Mainstream Sellout tour to the Utilita Arena in Birmingham on 04/10/22 accompanied by supporting acts Iann Dior and 44Phantom.  

This was my third time seeing MGK live in the UK. Prior to this, I had seen him at both of his shows in Bristol but this was my first time seeing him at an Arena. I travelled to Birmingham and what a show it turned out to be!  

Machine Gun Kelly, real name being ‘Colson Baker’ is a genre-bending American artist from Cleveland, Ohio. He has collaborated with the likes of Lil Wayne, Halsey, Yungblud, Little Mix, Trippie Redd, The Kid Laroi and Travis Barker. I’ve been a fan for a long time now and attended a show on his 27 World Tour (2017) and the Hotel Diablo World Tour (2019). It has been a pleasure to see his progress from performing at 1,600/1,800 capacity venues in Bristol (UK) to now packing out a venue with nearly 17,000 capacity. This just goes to show that an artist doesn’t have to be defined by one music genre in order to be successful. Personally, I must say I actually prefer the route MGK is taking with his alternative rock albums. ‘Tickets to My Downfall’ has been on repeat for me since it originally came out!

Before MGK took to the stage, his fans were treated to two incredible support acts: 44Phantom and Iann Dior. I can’t really comment on their performances apart from the first 3 songs of both of their sets, due to me being escorted out of the main arena in between each act by the arena staff. It was a shame not to be able to listen to the whole set, as I have been listening to Iann Dior for a while since first hearing him on 24kGoldn’s huge record ‘Mood’, which he did perform during his set in Birmingham.  

The lighting went dark just before Colson took to the stage and the Arena erupted with excitement as the fans waited in anticipation for their first glimpse of him. Amongst the darkness of the stage, I caught glimpses of Rook (drummer) and Baze (Bass) who have always remained with MGK when he performs live anywhere in the world. However, now the live band has a new addition and what a fantastic addition I might add. Sophie Lloyd who is a Rock/Metal Guitarist and Social Media Content Creator from London has been recruited by MGK to join him as one of his guitarists on his Mainstream Sellout tour. I first came across Sophie when I was scrolling on my for you page on TikTok. It’s inspiring to see how much of an impact social media can have on providing people like Sophie with opportunities like this. It was a pleasure to see her shred the strings in real life – what a talent she is. I was in awe of how electrifying her playing is!  

MGK walked on stage with a gold sequin sleeve on his left arm and during the show, he told the fans that Ariel (The Little Mermaid) gave it to him and then humorously went on to say how bad of a joke it was! With an extravagant entrance, he started to climb a rope ladder attached to a pink helicopter to kick off the show and perform in mid-air above the stage. Throughout the concert, this pink helicopter played an important role, among a few other things, in immersing the fans in a creative storyline in between the live song performances. At one point in the show, pink confetti strings were fired out of cannons attached to the helicopter and slowly covered the crowd. To me, this almost resembled when an apache helicopter shoots flares from it.

The stage production, visuals and graphics were probably the greatest I’ve ever seen at any show in my life. It was clear to see that an enormous amount of time, effort and money had been put into this tour. The pyrotechnics were next level and I really wish I was able to carry on photographing and capture just how insanely spectacular it was from the crowd after photographing the first three songs in the pit area. The stage floor remained a black/white checkered pattern throughout, but the backdrop constantly changed as the show progressed. There were stairs so MGK and the band could perform on higher platforms, which provided the crowd with better glimpses of them. Spread around the stage on different steps of the stairs were television screens which regularly displayed different visuals. Halfway through the show, a mysterious figure appeared from the back left-hand side of the stage and Machine Gun Kelly often interacted and spoke with it. It had a body that resembled that of a human but possessed a head which appeared to be an enormous computer/TV screen. This figure became known to the crowd as ‘The Internet’. In my eyes, MGK was essentially referring to how people on the Internet try to put you down and keep you restricted in a box. If he listened to the opinions of people on the internet, MGK would never have ventured out and explored other avenues in his musical career, and probably would have never transformed from creating hip-hop/rap music to making fantastic alternative rock albums. The fans were asked to chant ‘F*ck The Internet’ alongside Machine Gun Kelly to the on-stage presence in regards to this message. Something which changes throughout every one of MGK’s tours is the visual appearance of the microphone stand, and this is something I have always noticed immediately. Looking back on videos I previously recorded when I attended the Hotel Diablo tour in 2019, the mic was designed like a cobra snake. This time on the Mainstream Sellout tour, however, the mic stand was two hands, with one higher to hold the actual mic and the other to hold a metal ashtray for MGK’s cigarettes that he smoked throughout the evening whilst performing. Absolute rockstar sh*t!  

I was extremely excited that songs from the album ‘Tickets to my Downfall’ were performed at this show because, as I said previously in the review, this album has been on repeat since its release in 2020 during the Coronavirus pandemic. In all honesty, it is one of my favourite albums of all time because it’s one of those rare albums that I can listen to and not skip any song at all! During his setlist, MGK also performed songs from the Hotel Diablo project.

This was my most memorable time seeing Machine Gun Kelly live to date, as it was on my bucket list to get the opportunity to photograph him perform one day and I’m so grateful I was given the opportunity to accomplish this. I can’t wait to see what the future brings for Colson, and I hope he remains along the Alternative Rock route now but I will remain a fan no matter which direction he decides to take with his career.

Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly: A relationship timeline

M egan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly debuted their passionate partnership in 2020, and since then, the pair have been turning heads with their red carpets looks and raising eyebrows with their unconventional habits.

But how did the duo first get together? And after rumored breakups and makeups, where does their relationship stand now?

Read on to learn all about the pair.

A few years before 2020: A chance meeting

Though the details are fuzzy, even for the people involved, Fox and Kelly first crossed paths at a GQ party years before they truly got to know each other.

“I just remember this tall, blond, ghostly creature, and I looked up and I was like, ‘You smell like weed,’” Fox recalled in a 2021 joint interview with British GQ . “He looked down at me and he was like, ‘I am weed.’ Then, I swear to God, he disappeared like a ninja in a smoke bomb."

March 2020: The beginning

Fox and MGK, who uses legal name Colson Baker when appearing on the big screen, met again in March 2020, when they were both working on the crime thriller “Midnight in the Switchgrass.” He marked the beginning of their friendship with a since-deleted Instagram photo of their chairs positioned side by side on set.

Due to the pandemic, production came to halt just one week after it began , but the co-stars remained in touch.

May 2020: Rumored romance, confirmed separation

In mid-May, reports circulated of Fox and MGK grabbing takeout together in Calabasas, California. Romance rumors were quick to swirl even though, at the time, Fox was still married to actor Brian Austin Green, with whom she shares three children.

But just days after the reports surfaced, Green made an announcement on his podcast, “...With Brian Austin Green,” explaining that he and Fox had decided to “take some space” and separate around Thanksgiving 2019.

He noted that the recent talk about his wife of 10 years and MGK was the reason for his announcement.

“I don’t want people to think that her or he are villains, or I was a victim in any way with any of this, because I wasn’t,” he said.

Green also revealed that Fox told him that she and MGK were just “friends at this point, and from what she’s expressed, he’s a really nice, genuine guy, and I trust her judgment.”

But the more-than-friends buzz was refueled on May 20, two days after Green’s comments, when Machine Gun Kelly dropped his music video for “Bloody Valentine,” in which the “Transformers” star played his lover-turned-captor.

June 2020: It’s official!

By the following month, the romance between MGK and Fox was no longer the stuff of rumors.

In mid-June, there were paparazzi pics of the pair . This time they were seen holding hands and locking lips.

And if anyone was wondering if it was a just-friends kind of kiss, MGK cleared up the confusion with a tweet that quoted his “Bloody Valentine” lyrics (“I’m calling you girlfriend/What the f--k”) with a little extra context: “life imitated art on that one.”

July 2020: Fox found her 'twin flame'

Fox revisited the subject of her (second) first meeting with MGK in a July 2020 interview on the “Give Them Lala... With Randall” podcast, wherein she hinted that her relationship with him was meant to be.

“I was like, ‘Who is going to play this role?’” she remembered asking her “Midnight in the Switchgrass” director Randall Emmett. “And he was like, ‘Oh, we just got Machine Gun Kelly,’ and immediately, I was like, ‘Uh-oh.’ Because I knew — I could feel that some wild s--- was going to happen to me from that meeting, but I wasn’t yet sure what. I just felt it deep in my solar plexus, that something was going to come from that.”

And upon coming face to face with her co-star, she knew she was right.

“I knew right away that he was what I call a twin flame,” she said. “Instead of a soul mate, a twin flame is actually where a soul has ascended to a high enough level that it can be split into two different bodies at the same time. So we’re actually two halves of the same soul, I think. And I said that to him almost immediately, because I felt it right away.”

Also in July, MGK made their relationship Instagram official by sharing a since-deleted steamy black-and-white photo with the caption, “Waited for eternity to find you again ...”

August 2020: Her turn

Shortly after his Instagram post, Fox returned the favor by sharing a photo of the pair for her own fans and followers. The message that accompanied the since-deleted photo, posted Aug. 5, read, “Achingly Beautiful Boy... My heart is yours.”

That same day, Brian Austen Green appeared to mock Fox’s post by sharing photos of their three children, along with a son the former “Beverly Hills, 90210” star shares with past partner Vanessa Marcil, with an almost-identical caption.

November 2020: 'Merging' with MGK and divorcing BAG

In a chat with Nylon magazine, Fox raved about the “once in a lifetime thing” and connection of “mythic proportions” that she and Kelly share.

“Loving him is like being in love with a tsunami or a forest fire,” she noted. “The intensity of merging with him is just overwhelming, and the threat it poses is so powerful but so beautiful that you have no choice to surrender with reverence and with gratitude.”

But as she merged with him, Fox and her ex, Green, made their separation a permanent one when they filed for divorce on Nov. 25, 2020.

May 2021: An anniversary

Kelly marked a milestone in his relationship with Fox on May 25, 2021, by tweeting, “she said ‘i love you’ one year ago today.”

July 2021: 'Some full-circle s---'

A GQ feature on MGK, published July 15, 2021 , revealed that he had a poster of Fox on his bedroom wall as a teen.

“It was from her GQ shoot,” Kelly recalled of the 2008 image . “So that’s some full-circle s---.”

January 2022: He popped the question

On Jan. 11, 2022, Machine Gun Kelly asked Fox to marry him , and she said yes.

Kelly shared a peek at the custom double ring he presented her in an Instagram post that read , “beneath the same branches we fell in love under, i brought her back to ask her to marry me. i know tradition is one ring, but i designed it with Stephen Webster to be two: the emerald (her birth stone) and the diamond (my birth stone) set on two magnetic bands of thorns that draw together as two halves of the same soul forming the obscure heart that is our love. 1-11-2022.”

Fox posted a since-deleted video of the proposal on her account, writing, “We asked for magic. We were oblivious to the pain we would face together in such a short, frenetic period of time. Unaware of the work and sacrifices the relationship would require from us but intoxicated off of the love. And the karma. Somehow a year and a half later, having walked through hell together, and having laughed more than I ever imagined possible, he asked me to marry him. And just as in every lifetime before this one, and as in every lifetime that will follow it, I said yes.… and then we drank each other’s blood.”

April 2022: About that blood ...

During an April interview with Glamour UK , Fox added a little explanation about that blood-drinking mention in her engagement post.

“Yeah. So, I guess to drink each other’s blood might mislead people or people are imagining us with goblets and we’re like ‘Game of Thrones,’ drinking each other’s blood,” she said with a laugh. “It’s just a few drops, but, yes, we do consume each other’s blood on occasion for ritual purposes only.”

November 2022: On screen again

MGK and Fox joined forces on the big screen again for “Taurus,” released Nov. 18, 2022. It tells the story of a rock star living a dark life.

February 2023: Breakup rumors

More than a year after their engagement, breakup rumors began to spread. The rumors came to a peak on Feb. 12, 2023, when Fox shared infidelity-linked lyrics from Beyonce’s song “Pray You Catch Me” on Instagram, including the lines, “You can taste dishonesty/ It’s all over your breath.” Shortly after that, she deleted her account.  Once her Instagram was up again days later, Fox shot down any buzz about cheating or a breakup, writing in a since-deleted post, “There has been no third-party interference in this relationship of any kind. That includes, but is not limited to...actual humans, DMs, AI bots or succubus demons. While I do hate to rob you of running random baseless news stories that would have been much more accurately written by ChatGPT, you need to let this story die and leave all of these innocent people alone now.”

November 2023: Fox reveals pregnancy loss

Fox’s book of poetry, “Pretty Boys Are Poisonous,” published Nov. 7, included lines about pregnancy loss.

In one poem, she wrote about a “heartbeat in my womb,” before adding, "But now I have to say goodbye/ I close my eyes and imagine holding you tight against my chest/ as they rip you from my insides."

She later told Women’s Wear Daily that MGK had written about the miscarriage in his songs already, “so it just felt like something that I could address publicly because it’s been addressed in one way through him, so I have a space to express as well.”

February 2024: A super double date

Despite lingering breakup rumors, Fox and MGK were seen partying with pals Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce at a Super Bowl afterparty on Feb. 11.

March 2024: Relati onship status? Well ...

On the March 20 episode of Alex Cooper’s “Call Her Daddy” podcast , the host asked Fox to address her relationship with Kelly given that “you got engaged and then I think it was called off, then we don’t know what’s going on with you.”

“I think what I’ve learned from being in this relationship is that it’s not for public consumption,” Fox replied. “So I think, as of now, I don’t have a comment on the status of the relationship per se. What I can say is that is what I refer to as being my ‘twin soul’ and there will always be a tether to him, no matter what. I can’t say what the capacity will be, but I will always be connected to him somehow. Beyond that, I’m not willing to explain."

She then added, "But all those things you said were accurate things that have occurred, and I can see them being confusing or interesting to people.”
