Tour Odéon was designed in a spirit of absolute luxury by the Groupe Marzocco, the luxury real-estate specialist for over 30 years; Vinci Construction, one of the world leaders in construction and civil engineering; architect Alexandre Giraldi, a master of Belle Époque style; and Cabinet Alberto Pinto, which designed, among other prestigious projects, the interiors of luxury London hotel, The Lanesborough. Artist Yann Kersal was commissioned to create the lighting, while SATRI was also involved in the development of certain interiors and the sumptuous penthouse. Construction began in 2009 and, by the time the first apartments were delivered in 2015, had brought together 1,400 workers. Spectacular and refined, Tour Odéon is 49 floors, between sea and sky, 60 three- to seven-room apartments, two sky duplexes of 1,200m2, and an exceptional three-floor penthouse of 3,500m2 with a private swimming pool.

The ancient Rock of Monaco fortress has a modern skyline companion.  Tour Odéon  is the first luxury skyscraper to beautify Monaco’s majestic Riviera mountainside since 1980, and, at 558 feet tall, it reigns as the principality’s tallest tower, making it an ideal perch for the most expensive penthouse in the world (which occupies Tour Odéon’s top five floors).

For nearly half-a-billion dollars (give or take $25 million), the penthouse could be yours (and by “yours,” we mean people on the Forbes Billionaires list—others need not apply.)

Previously, the same penthouse reportedly listed for $250 million, with super rich European elites as potential prospects. We’ve heard of inflation, but this is ridiculous—and by ridiculous, we mean special. We’re pretty sure the penthouse’s new speculated price—$475 million—is a better economic indicator than Wall Street of good times to come. Tour Odéon is where old money will give rise to new money, and perhaps a new generation of über wealth.

Tour Odéon is touted as “the very best that Monaco has to offer.” Who are we to argue? The high-rise is a double tower that houses 70 luxurious apartments, ranging from one to six bedrooms, including two 12,916 square-foot Sky Duplexes and the five-story Sky Penthouse which, at 35,520 square feet, is virtually out of this world.

All apartments here feature floor-to-ceiling windows with natural light and panoramic views of the Mediterranean coastline and sparkling azure waters. Tour Odéon is the ambitious collective vision of architect  Alexandre Giraldi , developer  Groupe Marzocco , interior designer  Alberto Pinto , and landscape architect  Jean Mus .

If you play in Monaco’s luxury playground, you’re going to need toys. Tour Odéon’s penthouse—slated for completion this fall—features multiple pools (highlighted by a giant rooftop infinity pool with slide), a private disco, and perhaps—according to some renderings—even a palm tree for the billionaire seeking shade from the intense opulent glare. As if that isn’t enough, the penthouse offers a three-bedroom staff quarters, private chauffeur, personal caterer, and 24-hour concierge service. The eventual penthouse dweller will, however, have to share a health club, spa, and movie theater with mere millionaires.

The luxury skyscraper is pitched as “your ultimate home between the sea and the sky.” And with “your,” the slogan means to capture the attention of individuals like Bill Gates or Paul Allen. Allen is a good prospect—from Tour Odéon’s penthouse infinity pool, he could keep an eye on his megayacht Octopus (formerly the world’s largest at 414 feet long), which sometimes docks in the Port of Monaco.

In Zendaya and Roach's capable hands, the themes of her movies cleverly translate into clothing, whether that's a futuristic silver glambot suit sourced from the Mugler archives for the London premiere of Dune: Part Two or a subversively preppy Thom Browne gown that riffs on tennis whites for the London premiere of Challengers. Her fashion choices feel less like promotion than they do an extension of her work as an artist, with clothes as her medium, which might explain why this year, watching her press tour has been almost as much fun as heading to theaters to watch her movies.

With that in mind, we've rounded up all of Zendaya's best looks from the red carpet so far in 2024.

For the Mexico City premiere of Dune: Part Two , Zendaya wore a dramatic Torishéju gown.

Zendaya went for gold in a custom two-piece set from Louis Vuitton for the Paris premiere of Dune: Part Two .

Zendaya stunned at the London premiere of Dune: Part Two when she showed up in a vintage Mugler ensemble fit for a glambot.

For the Seoul premiere of Dune: Part Two , Zendaya wore a vintage Givenchy suit designed by Alexander McQueen during his time as their creative director. The gray ensemble had glow-in-the dark embellishments.

Zendaya wore a futuristic white Stéphane Rolland gown with dramatic cutouts and gold embellishment on the hem to the New York City premiere of Dune: Part Two .

For the 2024 ESSENCE Black Women in Hollwood Awards, Zendaya wore an embroidered corset top, jeans, and a stacked choker necklace, all from Jean Paul Gaultier.

For the 2024 Oscars, Zendaya wore a pink and gunmetal embellished Armani Privé gown.

Zendaya sparkled in a custom Loewe gown that paid homage to Challengers ; Loewe's creative director, Jonathan Anderson, was the costume designer on the film.

For a press call in Paris, Zendaya took a mod approach, selecting a vintage checkered Marc Jacobs coat dress and accessorizing with white pumps and a headband.

For the Paris Challengers premiere, Zendaya donned a diaphanous custom white Louis Vuitton gown with a matching belt.

Zendaya made a cheeky showing at a London press call when she arrived in an archival Vivienne Westwood striped vest and matching mini skirt with a feather bustle.

For a press call in Rome, Zendaya wore a sparkling tennis-inspired mini dress and a pair of tennis ball-embellished pumps, both of which were custom Loewe.

Zendaya made the case for quiet luxury with her elegant Brunello Cucinelli sweater and matching maxi skirt a press call in Monte Carlo.

For an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! in Los Angeles, Zendaya styled a vintage gray Ralph Lauren double breasted blazer as a mini dress and completed the look with a pair of white pumps.

Zendaya put a subversive twist on the concept of tennis whites with a custom Thom Browne gown with mesh inserts and tennis racquet embroidery. She accessorized the look with a pair of white pumps and an oversized hairbow.

For a press call in Milan, Zendaya wore a minimalist vintage Ralph Lauren white mini dress that was previously modeled by Cindy Crawford in 1992.

Zendaya departed from her tennis-inspired looks on the Challengers press tour for the Los Angeles premiere, where she wore a romantic lace-embellished black and pink Vera Wang gown.

She quickly switched gears again to serve a truly tennis-inspired look for Challengers ' Los Angeles premiere after-party in a dramatic lime green Celia Kritharioti halter dress with a plunging neckline and tennis ball embellishment.

For a press call in Los Angeles, Zendaya wore a ladylike yet daring (and midriff-baring) baby pink dress from Jacquemus, accessorizing it with a pair of matching sling back pumps and a pink bow headband.

Zendaya continued her streak of tennis-ball green outfits with a vintage Mugler skirt suit and matching pumps for a visit to Good Morning America .

For her actual appearance on Good Morning America , Zendaya channeled Old Hollywood with a bespoke floral gown with a full tulle skirt by Erdem, pairing it with a pair of white pumps.

Zendaya's 'Challengers' press tour: See some of her best looks

Zendaya continues to serve with her " Challengers " press tour looks.

This week the actress has been in NYC, and one of her latest looks has come in the form of white wide leg trousers and a collared, sleeveless top.

Zendaya was later photographed the same day wearing a sleek white custom hooded dress from Alaïa. She completed the look with stacked Bulgari bracelets and white pumps.

Earlier in the week, the she was spotted at "Good Morning America" studios a custom Erdem dress in green and white with yellow floral prints. The look was paired with white pumps. Her ensemble also included a white tulle peaking underneath.

She left the studio in a totally different look, incorporating a tennis ball-green skirt suit pinned with a sparkling arrow-shaped brooch.

Zendaya's "GMA" looks were totally different from another casual look she was spotted wearing in NYC earlier that morning. She was photographed wearing a long gray trench coat, black pants, and a T-shirt that read "I TOLD YA."

The "I TOLD YA" top, designed by "Challengers" costume designer Jonathan Anderson, is also worn by Zendaya's "Challengers" character Tashi Donaldson. The look was inspired by the late John F. Kennedy Jr., who was previously spotted wearing a T-shirt with the same phrase as the one in the '90s.

Just days before her NYC press run, the actress stepped out in a pink custom dress from French designer Jacquemus for a recent press outing for the upcoming film in Los Angeles.

She was styled by her longtime stylist, friend, and frequent fashion collaborator, Law Roach.

She posed with her "Challengers" co-stars Mike Faist and Josh O'Connor, as well as the film's director Luca Guadagnino, at the press event.

Days before, the superstar actress stepped out in a grey blazer look while appearing on " Jimmy Kimmel Live!"

While the actress has been wearing mostly tennis-inspired looks, for the film's LA premiere earlier that week, she donned a stylish mix of sheer lace meets ballgown.

Her look for the premiere was a black and pink Vera Wang gown that included an alluring bodice-style top along with a voluminous skirt. She paired the gown with Bulgari stud earrings, a ballerina bun, and soft sweeps of pink blush and lipstick.

Following the Los Angeles premiere, Zendaya was back in her tenniscore style as she wore a neon green halter dress from Celia Kritharioti that had a tennis ball attached at the center.

Just a few days before, she wore a crisp white vintage Ralph Lauren dress that was originally worn by Cindy Crawford on the runway in the early '90s.

She wore a similar look from a day earlier in Monaco that was created by On and a recreation of one of iconic tennis star Althea Gibson's past looks, according to Roach .

Zendaya was photographed during a photocall in Monaco wearing a very tennis-y look that incorporated a white cable knit collared sweater, a tailored maxi skirt, and satin pumps from Brunello Cucinelli's fall/winter ready-to-wear collection.

During the London premiere of the "Challengers" last week, the actress wore a white halter dress with a pleated skirt, which included a high slit.

The gown, which was custom-made by designer Thom Browne, had silhouettes of tennis rackets printed all over the dress and a netting material on the skirt, as well as a red and dark blue stripe across the bottom of the skirt.

Zendaya completed the elevated athletic look with a white bow in her hair, diamond earrings, a diamond bracelet, and a red lip.

Also, during a photocall in Rome earlier last week, the " Challengers " star was photographed wearing a dazzling metallic mini dress from Loewe that included a deep-V plunging neckline.

While the dress was a total score, it was the actress' custom white pumps that included tennis ball heels that were really a hit.

Along with her head-turning ensemble, Zendaya paired the look with several bangles and stud earrings. She wore her hair in a half-up half-down flipped-out style.

"Tennis but make it FASHION," said the actress' longtime stylist Law Roach alongside a post showing off her look.

The former Disney star's look is a nod to her "Challengers" character Tashi — a former tennis prodigy turned coach.

According to an official synopsis, the film, slated to release on April 26, centers around Zendaya's character Tashi, who is working to train her husband (Faist), a tennis champion on a losing streak, when they face off against his former best friend — who also happens to be Tashi's ex-boyfriend.

In March, Zendaya wore another look that paid tribute to her character while attending an Australian premiere of the upcoming movie. She was photographed wearing a shimmering green Loewe dress that included a deep-V neckline, thigh-high slit, and a silhouette of a person holding a tennis racket. The look was designed by Jonathan Anderson, Loewe's creative director.

What’s the Story Behind the ‘I Told Ya’ T-Shirt in ‘Challengers’? 

When Zendaya attended a screening of her new sultry tennis drama Challengers this week, she wore a gray T-shirt with the words “I Told Ya” printed in bold black letters. The casual shirt was a noticeable change from the crisp whites and sour greens of the tennis-themed couture the star has donned during the Challengers international press tour, but it too was a callback to the movie.

The ‘I Told Ya” tee is something of a character in Luca Guadagnino ’s Challengers — a film that follows tennis prodigy Tashi (Zendaya) who finds herself in a convoluted throuple with childhood friends Patrick (Josh O’Connor) and Art (Mike Faist) — serving as a signifier of who in the trio is the most powerful.

“If you mark the moment when Tashi takes the T-shirt off of [Patrick] after their big argument, she has the power,” O’Connor tells Rolling Stone. “I don’t think Art ever has the power actually. Poor Art. Well, not poor Art, this is the big trick, he’s the biggest snake of all of them.” 

Guadagnino called on his friend Jonathan Anderson, the creative director behind fashion house Loewe, to design the film’s preppy, courtside looks.  Anderson is reported to have been inspired by John F. Kennedy Jr. when designing costumes for O’Connor’s Patrick, a tennis player born into extreme wealth. The late president’s son was captured by paparazzi wearing a “I Told Ya” shirt, a reference to the “ I Told You So ” buttons marking John F. Kennedy’s 1961 inauguration.

Daniel James Cole, a New York University costume design professor and fashion historian, says JFK Jr.’s style was on the conservative side, but he and his wife Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy gave a youthful twist to Nineties minimalism.

“JFK Jr. would do things like wearing his baseball caps backwards, so, he has this ad hoc way of putting rather basic pieces together,” Cole, who co-authored The History of Modern Fashion, tells Rolling Stone . “I don’t think of JFK Jr. as being somebody who was a fashion risk taker but because he had natural good looks, and undeniable charisma whenever he appeared, you looked at him.”

Anderson, who also sported the slogan tee at the film’s Rome premiere, has since launched a collection of “I Told Ya” T-shirts and sweatshirts, with a rendition of the cotton shirt at $330 . Other retailers like Etsy and Amazon, have marketed more affordable alternatives for the viral shirt. 

The unisex “I Told Ya” shirts and sweatshirts are part of a Loewe’s special edition Challengers collection , featuring apparel worn by the film’s protagonists.
