The Rolling Stones are going back on tour: How to get tickets to the 16 stadium dates
Six decades after their first U.S. tour, the Rolling Stones are still commandeering stages.
The venerable rockers will embark on a 16-city jaunt April 28 in Houston to support their well-received new album , “Hackney Diamonds,” and plug into their extensive hits parade.
The stadium tour, sponsored by the age-appropriate AARP , will also hit cities including Las Vegas, Atlanta, Philadelphia and Los Angeles. The band will detour May 2 to play the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival.
Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. local time Dec. 1 via ticketmaster.com.
It hasn't been too long since the band worked stadium stages: In September 2021, they resumed their No Filter tour , which had been on a 16-month pandemic delay.
Interested in going? Check out tickets at Vivid Seats , StubHub , SeatGeek , and Ticketmaster .

'I'm going to bust a gut and do it': Dolly Parton dug deep to become a 'Rockstar'
The Stones – Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood – are basking in a bit of a studio revival with “Hackney Diamonds,” their first new album since 2005 .
The album debuted at No. 1 on the U.K. albums chart and No. 3 on the Billboard 200 album chart, making them the first act with a top 10 album each decade since the 1960s.
The single, “Angry,” is nominated for best rock song at the Grammy Awards on Feb. 4. (The band has three career wins .)
“Hackney Diamonds” is also the Stones’ first album since drummer Charlie Watts died in 2021.
The band premiered songs from the album at an intimate, invitation-only show of a few hundred people at the Racket NYC club in October, running through a handful of visceral new tracks and leaning into classics including “Shattered” and “Jumpin’ Jack Flash” with youthful vigor. Lady Gaga, who sings on the album track “Sweet Sounds of Heaven,” joined Jagger for a thunderous duet.

The Rolling Stones Announce 2021 U.S. Tour
By Jazz Monroe
The Rolling Stones are set to continue their No Filter tour with a string of dates starting this September and running until November. Find the schedule below.
The band’s last original album, A Bigger Bang , came out in 2005, although they released the Blue & Lonesome covers album in 2016, reissued Goat’s Head Soup last year, and, also in 2020, got remixed by the War on Drugs and the Killers .
In 2017, Mick Jagger joined forces with Skepta on the track “ England Lost ” and shared a Jemima Kirke–starring video for “Gotta Get a Grip” (which Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker remixed that same day).

The Rolling Stones Announce 2024 Stadium Tour in Support of 'Hackney Diamonds' Album — See the Dates!
The Rolling Stones' upcoming 16-date run marks the U.K. rock band's first U.S. concerts since 2019's No Filter Tour
MARK SELIGER
The Rolling Stones are taking Hackney Diamonds to North America!
On Tuesday, the legendary U.K. rock band announced the Stones Tour '24 Hackney Diamonds, sponsored by AARP, a 16-date run of stadium concerts across the United States and Canada set for next year.
Kicking off April 28 in Houston, the Rolling Stones will perform shows in cities including New Orleans, Las Vegas, Seattle, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Los Angeles and more before wrapping on July 17 in Santa Ana, California.

The Stones Tour '24 Hackney Diamonds marks the "Jumpin' Jack Flash" group's first time returning to the U.S. for an official string of concerts since 2019's No Filter Tour — as well as its first since the death of longtime drummer Charlie Watts in August 2021.
Tickets for the upcoming tour go on sale Dec. 1 at 10 a.m. local time, with more information available at the Rolling Stones' website .
Before releasing Hackney Diamonds last month, the band held an intimate concert at club Racket in New York City, where members Mick Jagger , Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood performed songs including such as “Shattered,” “Angry,” “Whole Wide World” and "Jumpin' Jack Flash."
The performance also included the live debut of Hackney Diamonds track "Sweet Sounds of Heaven" with a surprise appearance from Lady Gaga , who provides guest vocals on the song.
The Stones announced Hackney Diamonds at a press event in London earlier this month, where Jagger, Richards and Wood took the stage to talk to Jimmy Fallon about the album.
"We wouldn't have put this album out if we didn't really like it," Jagger, 80, said to Fallon. "We must say that we are quite pleased with it. We’re not big-headed but we hope you like it."
In an emotional moment, the trio also touched on what it was like to record the album without Watts. "Ever since Charlie’s gone it’s different, he’s number four," Richards, 79, said. "He’s missing, he’s up there. Of course he's missed incredibly."

The Rolling Stones have announced rescheduled dates for their “No Filter” tour, which was originally slated for 2020 and postponed due to the pandemic.
The 2021 dates are set to kick off September 26 in St. Louis, with rescheduled stops in Charlotte, Pittsburgh, Nashville, Minneapolis, Tampa, Dallas, Atlanta, Detroit and Austin following. The Stones have also added three new dates, including their very first time playing at this year’s New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival on October 13, along with dates in Los Angeles (October 17) and Las Vegas (November 6). The full itinerary is below.
However, previously scheduled dates for Vancouver, Louisville, Cleveland and Buffalo were unable to be rescheduled. Ticketholders in these markets will be contacted by Ticketmaster directly with more information. Where feasible, a priority offer for ticketholders will be available for nearby shows.
The announcement includes no mention of the recent spike in Covid-19 cases in the U.S., although most if not all of the dates are outdoors and regulations vary state by state. Reps for the Stones and promoter AEG Presents did not immediately respond to Variety ‘s request for comment.
“I’m so excited to get back on the stage again and want to thank everyone for their patience. See you soon!,” Mick Jagger said in a statement; “We’re back on the road! See you there!,” Keith Richards added.
All previously purchased tickets will be honored at the rescheduled performances. Tickets will go on sale Friday, July 30, 2021 at 10 a.m. local time for new shows. All other tickets can be purchased here .
The tour’s promoter is AEG Presents’ Concerts West; it is sponsored by Alliance for Lifetime Income, a nonprofit education organization that educates Americans about the importance of having protected lifetime income.

In addition to Miami, the 13-stop tour sees the famed rock band visiting U.S. cities such as Houston, Phoenix, Seattle and Denver for the first time in more than a decade. Moreover, the Jacksonville, Fla., date (April 24) will be The Rolling Stones’ first show in the city in nearly 30 years.

Billie Eilish blasts Rolling Stone over deleted story: ‘F**k you guys’
“F**k you guys”: A furious Billie Eilish has put Rolling Stone magazine on blast over a swiftly deleted story ahead of her new album’s release.

‘No refunds’: Fury over ‘botched’ festival
Billie Eilish is furious at Rolling Stone for leaking her new album’s track list ahead of its release next month.
The Grammy winner excitedly announced that her third studio album, Hit Me Hard And Soft , drops globally on May 17, sharing the happy news in a social media post this morning.
“So crazy to be writing this right now i’m nervyyyyy & exciteddd,” she gushed on Instagram.
Eilish, 22, explained that she and her musical collaborator, producer and brother Finneas “would not be releasing any singles” ahead of the album’s launch date as she “wants fans to hear it in full for the first time that day”.
“Not doing singles i wanna give it to you all at once,” she added. “Finneas and i truly could not be more proud of this album and we absolutely can’t wait for you to hear it. love you love you love you.”
However, it appears Rolling Stone magazine did not respect her wishes to keep things under wraps until May 17 after they leaked the album’s track list in an online article.
The singer was clearly annoyed at the article, swiftly taking to Instagram to blast the publication.
“F**k Rolling Stone,” she wrote in one, while adding a clown emoji in another Story: “F**k you guys @RollingStone.”
Eilish has since deleted her Stories while Rolling Stone has also updated its article, although screenshots of the original article have already done the rounds on Reddit.
Hit Me Hard And Soft marks Eilish’s first full-length album in three years.
She released Happier Than Ever in 2021 and her debut album When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? in 2019, both of which topped the charts worldwide.
A press release issued for the album has announced that Eilish will also make the conscious effort to minimise waste and combat climate change with all physical formats of the album consisting of the same track-listing while using 100 per cent recyclable materials.
Her last album, Happier Than Ev er, was reportedly made with recycled vinyl and sugar cane cling-wrap.
Recently, Eilish called out other artists in her industry for being wasteful and producing multiple vinyl editions of their albums to increase sales – a practice she believes is environmentally unsustainable.

“We live in a time where for some reason it’s very important for artists to make a lot of different vinyl of different types because it increases sales and the numbers make more money,” Eilish told Billboard last week.
“I can’t even express to you how wasteful it is. It is right in front of our faces and people are just getting away with it left and right.
“And I find it really frustrating as somebody who really goes out of my way to be sustainable and do the best that I can and try to involve everybody in my team in being sustainable – and then it’s some of the biggest artists in the world making f**king 40 different vinyl packages that have a different unique thing just to get you to keep buying more. It’s so wasteful.”
An iconic musician has turned heads at his local gym after being spotted wearing a very unusual outfit while lifting heavy weights.
The beloved artist has dropped the release date of his new book after recovering from a long health battle.
A major Australian music festival set to kick off next week has announced a huge change that has left ticket holders furious.

The Wait Is Over: Billie Eilish Announces New Album ‘Hit Me Hard and Soft’
By Angie Martoccio
Angie Martoccio
It’s been three years since Billie Eilish released a new album, but the wait is over: Hit Me Hard and Soft will arrive May 17.
The album cover features Eilish underwater, barefoot and sinking beneath a white wooden door. According to the release, Hit Me Hard and Soft is meant to be listened to all the way through — a cohesive body of work. “Not doing singles I wanna give it to you all at once,” Eilish wrote on Instagram . “ Finneas and I truly could not be more proud of this album and we absolutely can’t wait for you to hear it.”
Though the album marks Eilish’s first full-length in three years, she’s released new music since Happier Than Ever. In 2022, she surprise-released the EP Guitar Songs (which contained the two tracks “TV” and “The 30th”). And last year, she contributed the tear-jerker “ What Was I Made For? ” to the Barbie soundtrack, which became a massive hit. The ballad won Song of the Year at the 2024 Grammys and took home Best Original Song at the Academy Awards, the latter making her the youngest person to ever win two Oscars (she and Finneas first took home the award in 2021 for the James Bond theme “No Time to Die”).

“When it comes to variants, so many artists release them — including ME!” she wrote. “Which I clearly state in the article. The climate crisis is now, and it’s about all of us being part of the problem and trying to do better. Sheesh.”
