Racing fun heats up with the Summer Tour

Have some fun in the in-game sun with the Summer Tour, the latest limited-time event in the Mario Kart Tour game, happening now! Race along a beautiful sunset-soaked beach in the new GBA Cheep-Cheep Island course, take on new challenges, and see if you can unlock all the in-game rewards.

The Summer Tour also marks the beginning of Summertime Celebration! From June 29 to August 10, you can look for bonus rewards to celebrate summer with the Mario Kart Tour game. You can even earn select High-End drivers just by completing challenges! Take on challenges for your chance to add these drivers to your roster—or level up the ones of these you already have. Ahoy, mateys! Put yer Ruby booty to good use and fire ye ol’ Pirate Pipe for your chance to find Nabbit, King Bob-Omb, and Bowser Jr. (Pirate). Why, there’s nary a lemon among this high-end driver lot—great fer fun, less great fer scurvy (y’arrr…).

Ye may also find additional drivers, karts, and gliders shuffled in.

The included Tour gifts for all players this time are:

About Mario Kart Tour

In the free-to-start Mario Kart Tour game, players can put the pedal to the metal in courses inspired by real-world locations as well as Mario Kart series favorites. Put powerful items to use as you tear up the track and go for a high score in endless racing fun. Collect and upgrade a variety of drivers, karts, and gliders to find the combo that will lead you to victory!

City courses, special in-game event courses inspired by real-world locations, will be available during specific time periods and take place every two weeks.

The Summer Tour is the forty-seventh tour of Mario Kart Tour , which begins on June 30, 2021 and will end on July 13, 2021. This tour features the return of Cheep-Cheep Island from Mario Kart: Super Circuit as a new classic course, making this the first tour to introduce a classic course to the game since the Snow Tour nine tours prior. This tour also introduces a variant of Daisy wearing a swimsuit similar to that of Rosalina (Swimwear) . Starting from this tour, the Summertime Celebration event began, which adds new Multiplayer and unique Challenges and includes new rewards, including Blue Koopa (Freerunning) as a high-ranking ranked cup reward.

Nintendo's 2023 Summer of Play Tour Will Let You Play Mario Kart, Zelda, Pikmin, Pokémon And More

To celebrate family summer gaming, Nintendo is hosting the Nintendo Summer of Play tour to give guests of all ages the chance to discover their favorite Nintendo characters and learn more about the worlds they come from.

Summer is the perfect time to relax and spend time playing the Nintendo Switch family of systems with loved ones.

From June 15 to Aug. 28, Nintendo will travel to various cities across the U.S. and invite guests to explore the worlds created by Nintendo Switch games through a variety of summer-themed activities:

• Get behind the wheel with Mario and friends to speed down Rainbow Road in an exciting race found in the  Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – Booster Course Pass  DLC for the  Mario Kart 8 Deluxe  game.
• Sit by a serene campfire with Tom Nook and Isabelle in front of a cozy photo-op from the  Animal Crossing: New Horizons  game.
• Pose with curious plant-like creatures in an oversized garden scene from the upcoming  Pikmin 4  game (launching July 21).
• Take a snapshot with Pikachu and other Pokémon featured in the  Pokémon Scarlet  and  Pokémon Violet  games.
• Explore the great outdoors with Link in the evolved Kingdom of Hyrule while playing the critically acclaimed action-adventure game  The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom .

Whether it’s creating new memories with beloved Nintendo characters or seeing them in action for the first time on the Nintendo Switch family of systems, this is just a sample of the many adventures that await at this year’s event. The Nintendo Summer of Play tour offers something for every type of player in the family, from the platforming aficionado who likes to explore  Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe  with others, to the competitive player who prefers to brawl it out in  Super Smash Bros. Ultimate .

While visiting the Nintendo Summer of Play tour, guests will receive a free Nintendo Summer of Play passport, which can be stamped after participating in various activities at the event. Once completed, they’ll have an opportunity to receive free Nintendo goodies (while supplies last). Attendees can also commemorate their Nintendo summer experience by stopping by the Play Nintendo Mushroom Kingdom Yourself Photobooth for a digital keepsake. This is a list of tours in Mario Kart Tour that debuted in 2023.

Courses in gray debuted during the respective tour. "N" indicates a normal course, "R" a reversed course, "T" a trick course, and "R/T" a reversed trick course. Course variations in blue were newly added to the game, variations in green were used in previous tours, and variations in red text have not yet made a reappearance since their debut tour. Cup icons with darkened cells indicate newly added cups.

The 2023 Anniversary Tour was the final tour to add new content to the game. All subsequent tours are reruns of previous tours, starting with 2022 's Battle Tour .
