Australian metalcore trailblazers THE AMITY AFFLICTION today announce their highly anticipated Australian tour Not Without My Ghosts with special guests Silverstein, Earth Caller and Winnerz Circle. The national run will begin at the band’s hometown Brisbane at Fortitude Music Hall before heading to Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion, Adelaide’s Hindley Street Music Hall, Melbourne’s Forum and wrapping up at Perth’s Metro City. This 2023 tour marks two decades since the band formed in 2003.

Fans of The Amity Affliction can officially get excited, the band is getting back on the road for a long anticipated full national headline run!

Audiences on the East Coast were able to indulge in pure Amity chaos during the band's summer shows as part of the Good Things festival tour at the end of 2022. As we get into this year though, fittingly the post-hardcore outfit's 20th anniversary, the shows are hitting Adelaide and Perth as well.

Joining The Amity Affliction on the road, we've got Canadians in Silverstein, as well as Melbourne's Earth Caller, and Winnerz Circle from Adelaide.

Currently at work on a new record, The Amity Affliction have been teasing their next chapter with the release of 'Show Me Your God' (above) back in November, and 'I See Dead People' -- a track that only dropped back in February, featuring late rapper Louie Knuxx.

What can I say??? These guy's NEVER disappoint. From when the came onto the stage to their final song, they have an aura, and a presence that I dont seem to get with many other bands.

They mixed some new songs with some of their older stuff, Open Letter always getting the crowd going.

Just a pity they were supporting Beartooth and not the headline, as this means only 40 mins of this fabulous foursome... Thsnk you again, for a memory I will never forget..

it was a really good show! most of the pits were filled with big men, they had a wall of death, but it was really cool, the fans are super nice and people watch out for each other and pick each other right up when they fall in the pit! i saw someone’s phone fall out of their pocket and gave it back to them when i saw them come out of the pit and they were super grateful!!!!!

Amity Affliction was great! They played quite a few songs from Misery and also a few from some of there older albums. Overall their performance was great, there were lots of mosh pits and a couple wall of deaths aswell. The crowd was very energetic when they came on. I'll definitely be going to another concert of theirs.

The Amity Affliction announce 2021 Australian tour

And they've called up some serious support bands!

Australian heavy music juggernauts The Amity Affliction are set to celebrate the release of their seventh album with a huge national tour this July.

The album, Everyone Loves You Once You Leave Them , was released back in February 2020 and marks the band’s Pure Noise Records debut. Following on from 2018’s Misery, Everyone Loves You.. also marks a return to The Amity Affliction’s heavier sound.

We went back to our heavier side for the majority of the album. We were trying to master the craft and write what we want to hear. Even though we’re older, the maturity comes out a bit more with each record. Ahren Stringer, Bass & Vocals

These upcoming tour dates are set to be special ones for Amity fans. Following big festival and arena runs in 2019, the band are continuing where they left off in 2020, playing in intimate venues around the country and getting more up close and personal with fans than usual.

We definitely live by the ‘get down early and support your locals’ when it comes to gigs, but if you don’t usually make it in time to catch all the supports, you’re going to want to make a change for this tour.

Leading the way are one of Australia’s most electrifying punk bands WAAX . Whether you’ve witnessed their onstage chaos before, or you’re new to the Brisbane group, there is a reason why their live show is unforgettable. Also in the mix is Brisbane metalcore act Void of Vision . Clocking up stage time across Asia, Europe, Australia and more, alongside scene heavy hitters, at festivals, and on their own headlining runs, you won’t want to miss these heavy-hitters. Rounding out the lineup Nerve Damage, bringing together the best of their DIY heavy music backgrounds to speak up, and out about issues close to home. 

The Amity Affliction have had a stellar run with albums so far. They’ve have served up two ARIA gold-certified albums, 2010’s Youngbloods and Chasing Ghosts [2012], and earned a platinum certification for 2014’s Let The Ocean Take Me .

This Could Be Heartbreak [2016] marked the band’s second consecutive Top 30 debut on the Billboard Top 200, while Misery [2018] garnered international acclaim from the likes of Medium, Alternative Press, The Noise and more.

The Amity Affliction will take their seventh album Everyone Loves You Once You Leave Them around Australia in July 2021. Tickets are on sale via Ticketmaster.com.au.

The Amity Affliction will be hitting the road in July of this year for a long-overdue Australian tour.

Close to a year on from their last live performances, Australian metalcore icons The Amity Affliction have announced that they will be making their return to the stage this July with headline dates in support of their latest album,  Everyone Loves You… Once You Leave Them .

Releasing their seventh studio album back in February of 2020, where it swiftly peaked at #2 on the ARIA chart, The Amity Affliction’s plans to spend the year touring globally were cut short due to the advent of a global pandemic. With an Australian tour wrapping up in January, and a European tour coming to a close in early March, a planned US tour with Sleeping With Sirens was postponed, leaving the band unable to showcase their new material as intended.

Now, the Queensland will be celebrating their 18th birthday with a run of local tour dates, kicking off their Everyone Loves You… Once You Leave Them Australian tour on July 1st in Sydney, before visiting Brisbane, Melbourne, and Adelaide, before wrapping things up in Perth on July 10th.

Joining The Amity Affliction on their July tour will be an array of Australian acts, including Brisbane’s WAAX, Melbourne’s Void of Vision, and Gold Coast hardcore outfit Nerve Damage.

Tickets to the band’s upcoming tour are on sale from 12pm on Thursday, February 18th, while a Live Nation pre-sale begins at 12pm on Wednesday, February 17th, and runs for 23 hours.
