Brand History:

In 1904 Thompson Bros. Boat Manufacturing Co. made its first home in the small, northern town of Peshtigo, Wisconsin starting the legacy of a family boat building business. Always thinking big, and confident in the craft and durability they brought to the boating industry, the second generation of Thompson’s built wooden lapstrake outboard cabin cruisers in Oconto, Wisconsin in the 1950’s. in 1965 wooden boats were replaced with fiberglass.

Today, Cruisers Yachts is part of KCS International Inc., which includes sister company Rampage Sport Fishing Yachts. Cruisers Yachts is known as one of the world’s premier manufacturer of midsize to luxury pleasure yachts and produces 11 models from 30 to 56 feet in its Oconto facility, including the much anticipated 48 Cantius Sports Coupe which has recently been awarded “Best Interior” by MotorBoating.

Founded in 1953 and headquartered in Oconto, WI, Cruisers Yachts is known as one of the world’s premier providers of midsize luxury pleasure yachts and produces models from 33 to 60 feet. Cruisers Yachts’ parent company MarineMax Inc. (NYSE: HZO) is the world’s largest recreational boat and yacht retailer.

The current Cruisers Yachts lineup includes 12 models – 1 Flybridge, 4 models in the Cantius Series (42-60 feet), 7 models in the GLS Series (34-50 feet) - including the new flagship 50 GLS.

Cruisers Yachts largest model is the 60 Fly with a LOA of 59’10” and a beam of 16’.

Cruisers Yachts’ fastest model is the 38 GLS OB with triple Mercury Verado 450R engines reaching a top speed of 65 mph.

Cruisers Yachts use Simrad display systems. However, they are also offered with Garmin display systems.

Offered in the 34 GLS, 38GLS, 46 GLS models - the South Beach edition offers the customer hull colors that are not white. New colors will be introduced in Model Year 2024.
