Overall, we enjoyed our tour of India. The culture there is so different than any other place we have travelled, leaving even seasoned travelers a bit shell shocked. Highlights were the Taj, never expected to be so impressed with it as we have seen a lot of architectural wonders in our travels, and the night spent in the village of Tordi Garh. Downside, some of the hotels were not too clean, especially in Varanasi. That hotel was foul. We did book a basic trip, and were expecting some rougher travel, but not that bad. Also, the night trains were a bit of a trial. It would have been nice to be able to upgrade to better berths. And finally, out of 7 people, 5 got sick. That includes our guide!

Ragu was one the best guides i ever had in all my tours. He gave great information and was very helpful in sorting out any extra needs you had. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone with limited time. Just plan at least one day in Delhi if you really want to see everything in Delhi as you have limited time there.

We had a great time in India. The tour manager Mr. Amit was very responsive to all my questions and issues prior to the trip and was waiting for us to greet us at the first hotel. Our driver Mr. Vikram was great too. He was very professional and was always on time waiting for us each day. We absolutely loved our local guide in Jaipur. He was so professional, knowledgeable and quick that we felt we were very well taken care of. Now here’s the reason I can’t give 5 stars to this tour. It was the hotel in Jaipur and the local guide in Delhi. The hotel was not up to the standard of 3 stars at all. The bathroom was disgusting, moldy and gross. They called us around 10pm asking us to order room service both nights we stayed. It was the most horrible service that I have ever experienced at any hotels around the world. Now the local guide in Delhi, he made us decide to say goodbye after 3 hours. We never had a problem tipping people at all until the rickshaw ride (which was included in the tour). It was such a turn off moment for us when the guide asked us to tip them 200 for a 200 ride. He was also on the personal phone calls a lot, which made us feel that he really didn’t want to be there at all for us. We had to call it a day.

Colorful India with Taj Mahal & Rajasthan

The whole trip was an excellent experience apart from the Dune Desert Camp. This was absolutely terrible - no hot water, filthy cabin accommodation, intermittent power, dirty bedding and should be taken off your itinerary. Mr Lal, our driver was wonderful. A very careful and safe driver. Nothing was too much trouble.

Golden Triangle Tour With Ranthambore

I travelled to India as a single mother with my 13 year old son and we booked the golden triangle with Ranthambore trip for 8 days. From the initial booking of the trip on line with Tour radar, the run up to the holiday and throughout the trip, I found the communication and service to have been excellent. There was a small issue prior to departure after a PayPal payment for additional activities that I had paid a month prior was bizarrely sent back to me, but I paid this in cash on my arrival to India. Thankfully the mishap didn’t affect the planned additional activities. Our driver ‘Messi’ picked us up at the airport and looked after us throughout the entire 8 day trip. He was brilliant, always available and friendly. We stayed in 4 different hotels, that were mostly adequate and comfortable. I wouldn’t class them as UK 4 star, but reasonable for the price you are paying. The second hotel in Jaipur unfortunately was not best as the location was very near to an open sewage river and ontop of the smell from that, there was a wedding on the hotel grounds across the road, that kept us awake all night when we had to be up at 4 am the following morning for an early start. We had tour guides in Delhi, Jaipur and Agra who were all very knowledgeable and friendly and whilst we were in Ranthambore on tiger safari, the safari guides were also good and we had an amazing experience of seeing a tiger very close up. Agra and the Taj Mahal was incredible and was the perfect ending to our trip before we went back to Delhi and flew home.

In tourradar there were more options of tour to choose from. I am glad that I choose the golden triangle with Varanasi because it covered most of the north India that I wanted to visit. World Travel Experiences is the tour company that took care of us very well. They were very prompt to answer any questions and concerns. They took care of us since the beginning until the very end. The drivers were very polite and respectful, and they know how to navigate the heavily traffic roads. The tour guides were speaking very good English, knowledgeable and resourceful. Almost all of the tour guides went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and covered the Itinerary. Most of the hotel rooms were above the standard. We really enjoyed the breakfast buffet and over night train ride. It is advisable to keep 500, 100, 50, 20 and 10 rupees for tipping. Overall it was a great memorable vacation. I had a really great adventure overall. My favorite experiences were On Day 2 in Agra. My Tour guide, Hilal was an incredibly kind, patient, knowledgeable and genuine person to share the day with across Taj Mahal, Red Fort and the many beautifully skilled spaces of local craftspeople. I’m very appreciative for his attentiveness; always being available to answer my questions, sometimes even before I could asked them. Hilal took some of the best photos of me from my entire trip. Which, as a solo traveler, can be such a luxury to have. And for Sunil, he’s the coolest driver! Very personable and very professional! He made the experience all the more comfortable, safe and timely. He went above and beyond helping me check into each hotel, always making sure I had water/food during our travels and plenty of rest stops for bio breaks. I also noticed that he was protective of the vehicle, not allowing some pedestrians to beg for money if the surrounding circumstances made it likely. In turn, I felt very comfortable and grateful traveling with him through all three days. Not to mention the convenience afforded to my tour guides and I, being dropped off and picked up directly in front of each destination. Thank You! Thank you! Thank you!

Simply put, there’s nothing else like golf betting. With the ever-present potential for longshot victories, at times seemingly unpredictable variance of performances, and crazy swings from hole to hole that can turn sure-fire winning bets into heartbreaking losses, no other major U.S. sport provides the same level of weekly intrigue that golf betting does on the PGA TOUR.

As a comparison, to get +10000 odds or greater when betting on football, you’d likely have to place a longshot future or build a crazy multi-leg parlay ( not advisable). The futures bet would take many months to potentially cash, while the true chances of that parlay winning would be extremely small.

With golf, though, single wagers for triple-digit longshots win somewhat regularly and usually only take four days (or fewer) to play out. In fact, 2024 started with six of the first nine PGA TOUR events being won by longshots with +10000 odds or higher. In the words of Golfbet’s own Ben Everill , “No other sport gives you the chance to hit a lottery ticket so often.” However, that early trend has been countered sharply as of late, with Scottie Scheffler’s four wins this year – at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, THE PLAYERS, the Masters and RBC Heritage – all coming as the pre-tournament favorite.

It’s also worth noting that the longshot winners were very favorable results for sportsbooks. Sure, they had to pay out a handful of big winning bets those weeks, but the large majority of outright wagers were on other players, and therefore lost.

All of this helps illustrate the fact that betting on golf can be fun, but very difficult. Throwing darts on longshots can be exhilarating if they’re in the mix come Sunday, but a lot less enjoyable if the favorite ultimately comes through with the victory that week. Therefore, it’s critically important to learn and remember how to bet responsibly if you are going to be wagering on PGA TOUR events.

Since the odds are skewed notably in the sportsbooks’ favor, it’s very likely that you will not turn a profit from betting, especially in the long term if you are placing bets regularly. Therefore, it should be seen through a similar lens as paying to go see a movie, a show or a live sporting event. It’s entertainment that very likely comes at a cost, even if there is an off-chance that it could also result in winning money.
• Do not ever bet using funds that you don’t currently have. Betting with credit or borrowing funds from someone else to gamble can be extremely dangerous and result in losing amounts that you are unable to afford.
• Set limits on your deposit amounts and time spent betting. Most online sportsbooks now offer the ability for users to set these limits themselves, a critical feature that all bettors should use to ensure that they do not deposit more than their personal bankroll amount and don’t spend too much time focused on gambling.
• Never chase your losses. This is arguably the most common way by which bettors end up losing significant amounts, often more than they can afford to lose. Chasing losses involves placing more bets and/or wagering more than usual in hopes of winning back what was lost. This is a slippery slope where losses can compound quickly and possibly result in negative impacts on financial and mental well-being.
• Never bet while under the influence of drugs or alcohol, as those impair judgment and can potentially lead to placing larger or more bets than usual. The other five Signature Events do not have a cut.
• Withdrawals (WD): If a player withdraws from a tournament before teeing off, bets on that player are almost always voided. However, if he plays even just one hole and then withdraws (due to injury or illness, for example), wagers on that player are generally graded as losses.
• Limit your number of bets and overall exposure. With hundreds – if not thousands – of golf wagering options available just about every week, it’s important to self-restrict how many bets you place. A smart approach is to ask yourself, “If all of these bets lose, what will my total losses be?” It’s easy to think that at minimum some of your bets will win, but there is unfortunately always the chance that all of them will lose (even when diversifying with different bet types), so calculating your entire exposure is crucial. Always make sure that your total exposure – combined amount wagered – is not more than the bankroll that you’ve chosen.
• Don’t increase your exposure for big tournaments. The excitement of popular tournaments like THE PLAYERS, Signature Events and majors can lead many bettors to wagering more than usual. That increased risk can quickly lead to heavier losses than expected and potentially burning through an entire bankroll. Be sure to avoid getting caught up in the hoopla of a headline event by wagering more than normal.
• It’s a marathon, not a sprint. The golf calendar is unique in that it is close to never-ending. The 2024 PGA TOUR season runs from January through early September, but there are events in other months as well. If you plan to bet on golf every week throughout the season or year, it’s crucial to understand that you will likely have cold streaks spanning multiple tournaments. Therefore, your exposure for any one event should only be a portion of your total bankroll.
