Iron Maiden announce huge North America tour for 2024
The Future Past Tour is officially coming to North America!
Heavy metal legends Iron Maiden have finally answered American fans' prayers by announcing that the critically acclaimed Future Past Tou r will be coming to North America in 2024. Following this summer's blockbuster run across Europe (plus a small handful of dates in Canada and a stop-off at Power Trip Festival in California), Maiden recently confirmed that they would be returning to Australia, New Zealand and Japan in the Autumn of next year.
Now, the band have released dates for a full US and Canada tour that'll follow soon after.
“We’re really excited to be bringing The Future Past Tour back to Canada and the United States next year," says Maiden bassist and band leader, Steve Harris. "We know from the reaction of our fans at Power Trip and the shows we played in Canada recently that they really enjoyed hearing new songs from both Senjutsu and Somewhere In Time, and we’ve really enjoyed playing them! Soit’s going to be a great experience for us to visit many other cities across North America and bring this new show to those fans who’ve waited patiently to see it. See you all in 2024!”
“The Future Past Tour is one of the most exciting tours we’ve ever done and to be performing both brand new material and songs that haven’t been played for many years with a mix of fan favourites has been a great experience for both the fans and the band," adds the band's longtime manager, Rod Smallwood. "The energy has been incredible and we can’t wait to continue bringing this amazing and innovative show to fans around the world next year.”
See the full list of freshly announced dates below. As well as those aforementioned dates across the US and Canada, the band will also play Santiago's Estadio Nacional in Chile on November 27. For ticket details, head to the official Iron Maiden website .
The Future Past Tour is a celebration of both Maiden's most recent studio album, 2021's Senjutsu , and the band's classic 1986, sci-fi-powered opus, Somewhere In Time , with Metal Hammer 's Merlin Alderslade giving the show a rave review in Prague, writing in his 4 and a half out of 5 review: "Maiden continue to age like fine wine. Metal remains lucky to have them."

Iron Maiden revealed their planned return to North America, announcing Legacy of the Beast World Tour 2022 tour dates. The 2022 Iron Maiden tour will feature 23 arena and amphitheatre shows in North America, taking place in September and October of 2022.
“We’re really looking forward to our return to North America so we can bring The Legacy Of The Beast show to places we didn’t get to in 2019 and to other cities we’ve not played for many years,” says Maiden vocalist Bruce Dickinson. “I’m really excited about the new additions and changes to the stage production and we can’t wait for everyone to see what we’ve got planned. The whole band has really enjoyed the Legacy Tour and now we just can’t wait get back out on the road to play live, have fun and see everyone again!”
Tickets for Iron Maiden’s Legacy of the Beast World Tour go on sale to the general public beginning December 10. Prior to that, presales will be run for the band’s fan club as well as one through Ticketmaster’s verified fan system, with registration open now through December 5- Iron Maiden Verified Fan sign-up link . Iron Maiden fan club presale will launch on December 7, while the Verified Fan presale will begin on December 8.
The tour begins on September 11 at El Paso’s Don Haskins Center and wraps on October 27 at Amalie Arena in Tampa. In between, stops include Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, United Center in Chicago, Scotiabank Centre in Toronto, Prudential Center in Newark, and Capital One Arena in Washington. The North American leg will be preceded by a run of shows in the EU and UK, as well as in South America for Rock in Rio.
“Next summer we will finally get to play the huge European stadium tour for The Legacy Of The Beast, and the new show will be even more spectacular so after our visit to Rock in Rio early September 2022 we decided to take it back to our fans in North America too, but in cities or venues we didn’t play in 2019, including some we haven’t visited in many years like El Paso, Spokane, Sioux Falls, Columbus, Hamilton, Ottawa and Greensboro,” Iron Maiden manager Rod Smallwood says. “We’ll be making a couple of additions and changes to the production and setlist to include some songs from our new album Senjutsu and are making the 2022 version of Legacy Of The Beast even more spectacular than the acclaimed original show. You can be sure that we will still be featuring all the “hits” and the key elements of the original tour like the Spitfire, Icarus, Hell, flamethrowers and pyro and the rest – but we will shake it up a bit and Trooper Eddie will have serious competition in the new Senjutsu ‘world’ we are adding.”

“Bought by Bernie Marsden in New York at the end of the ill-fated Whitesnake, Judas Priest and Iron Maiden USA tour in 1981”: The rescheduled Marsden guitar auction offers insight into the journey of the famed collector
The auction will now take place on June 14, and showcases the enormous variety of the late guitarist’s collection
Prior to Bernie Marsden’s passing in August 2023 , the Whitesnake guitar icon was engaged in selling off significant parts of his immense guitar collection, with sales via UK dealer ATB Guitars and an auction with Gardiner-Houlgate.
Following news of his death, the latter sale was postponed as a mark of respect . Now, a date for the guitar auction – which looks set to include over 100 items from Marsden’s extensive collection – has been announced: June 14.
It should be noted that the way the collection sale was divided previously, saw most of the highest value vintage items offered via ATB Guitars, which has now sold most of the instruments.
This sale still has more than a hint of star power to it, though – with a 1968 Gretsch Streamliner that spent time on loan to Marsden’s friend Peter Green set to go under the hammer.
“Bought by Bernie Marsden in New York at the end of the ill-fated Whitesnake, Judas Priest and Iron Maiden USA tour in 1981,” reads the description.
“Bernie loaned the guitar to his friend and guitar hero Peter Green in the 1990s as he enjoyed playing it.”
Elsewhere there’s a Marshall Guv’Nor pedal gifted to Marsden by the late Gary Moore, plus a Rodenberg Electronic GAS808 pedal gifted to Marsden at a Joe Bonamassa and Joe Satriani show in 2014.

In addition, 11 of the guitars in the sale saw service during Marsden’s Whitesnake era, including a host of lesser-spotted Gibson builds from the late-’70s and early-’80s, among them a Flying V2, Explorer E2, Firebrand 335-S, and RD Artist.
Indeed, browsing the catalog offers a revealing insight into the late Marsden’s love for guitars of all shapes, sizes and brands.
The likes of custom mods from vintage restoration expert Clive Brown rub against Japanese and Korean Squiers, while pre-war Gibson acoustics sit next to ’90s Washburns.
Then there’s a wealth of PRS models from the late-’00s/early 2010s, ’80s Greco copies, and US catalog guitars from Stella and Silvertone. Hell there’s even this weird Strat with a Tele neck experiment that we suspect is not 100% official.
The prices look thoroughly attainable, too – with something for all budgets – with lot estimates across the catalog priced from around $25 to $6,250.
As we saw with the Mark Knopfler guitar auction , estimates do have a habit of being surpassed when it comes to celebrity collection sales, but it does look like there’s plenty to pick from.
Notably absent from both the ATB sale and this auction, of course, is Marsden’s famed 1959 Gibson Les Paul ‘Burst, ‘The Beast’ . That was initially scheduled to be sold alongside his ATB haul , but was removed from the sale when Marsden changed his mind . It presumably still resides with his estate.
