All the procedures of Safari Booking at Corbett are managed by the forest officials as per India’s forest department guidelines. Please note that we cannot influence the safari zone, safari driver, and the naturalist guide as it is not in our hands. It is solely decided by the forest officials. These all aspects are supervised by the automated computerized system to ensure the equal distribution of safari vehicles in respective zones.

Advance Booking Procedure : For booking request please provide us the following details

• The full name, age, and sex of each visitor as printed same on the identity cards to be provided along with the confirmatory amount
• Preferred traveling date & Safari timing (Morning/Afternoon)
• Specific ID card number of your (Pan Card, Aadhaar No., Driving license No, etc.)
• Safari Entry fee paid in advance
• Jeep Safari & Canter Safari amounts are non-refundable.

Timings of Jeep Safari :

Morning Trip : Trip of Safari Starting Hours are 5:30 / 6:30 Hours- Morning ( Depending on weather) and safari duration is 3:00 Hours Normally. Evening Trip: of Jeep Safari Starting Hours are 1:30- 2:30 Hours- NOON/ Evening ( Depending on weather) and safari duration is 3:00 Hours Normally.

Booking Procedure:

All the Safari's into the national park can be booked online filling the form or at corbett national park office- Ramnagar and it is available on first apply and get basis. The advance booking for the jeep safari starts 90 days prior.-45 days and as per availability. There are restrictions on number of vehicles which can enter in each zone and it is strictly followed.

Advance Booking of Jeep Safari

Advance booking of jeep safari in corbett national park is available for both morning and evening in Bijrani, Jhirna, Dhela and Durgadevi Zones. The online booking is available on first apply and get basis and a non refundable advance need to be deposited with complete details of the visitors. For online booking of the jeep safari photo id numbers for Indian Nationals and passport details of foreign nationals is mandatory.

Advance Booking Procedure:

• The full name, age, sex of each visitor as printed same on the identity cards to be provided along with the confirmatory amount
• Preferred traveling dates and Safari Timings
• Specific ID card number of the ID proof that you are holding which might be voter ID, Aaadhar No., Driving Licence No. etc.
• Advance Safari entry fee
• If a permit is booked through the electronic source, it is not refundable.
• Carry with yourself the same ID card which you used during the booking
• Intimidate us for at least 30 days in advance.
• Foreign tourist can book for about 90 days in advanced
• The passport details are mandatory for making the reservation of Foreign tourists
• The safari Permit will be issued on the first come first serve basis.

• Tourists are requested to obtain the entry pass that was being issued online.
• The entry permit is provisional and can be canceled without any prior intimation.
• The Director of Corbett Tiger Reserve is a supreme authority and his decision will be final as all is being governed under him.
• The entry permit is strictly not transferable.
• The official registered guides can only join the excursion. Do not change them for mutual convenience.
• After Sunset, entry to Nation Park is strictly prohibited.
• Dhikala tourist Zone is not permitted for the tourist who did not stay in the forest lodge
• Getting down from the vehicle while you do the jeep safari is strictly prohibited.
• No pets will be allowed inside the CTR so, avoid carrying them.
• All visitors are expected to act responsibly following all the rules and regulation as given above. Do the needful with the cooperation.

Canter Safari Booking in Dhikala Corbett

Canter is an open mini bus which starts from Corbett Tiger Reserve office, Ramanagar & takes visitors to Dhikala zone. Canter safari is your only option if you are living outside of the forest or just willing to visit Dhikala for the day. Canter can accommodate up to 16 persons. Individual seats can be booked. Canter safari is only available for Dhikala zone.

But the usual timings for a jeep safari are divided into two parts - Morning and Evening. The morning timings are from 6 a.m to 9.30 a.m and the evening timings are from 3 p.m to 6 p.m.

Visitors are required to obtain entry permits that are being issued online. While doing jeep safari do not get down from the vehicle, it is not allowed or else you can be fined or even put your and other’s lives in danger.

There are two kinds of official permits issued by the government for entering into any safari zone of the park. Day visit permit (for jeep/canter safari) and Permits for night stay inside the Government forest lodges.

As the entire periphery of the Jim Corbett National Park falls under a restricted and protected area, official permission is required to visit the core area of the tiger territory. And most tigers are found in the Dhikala zone.

Jeep Safari at Jim Corbett in Dhikala and Brijrani zone is conducted in only two shifts daily.

Corbett National Park is divided into five eco-tourism zones for proper management of tourism activities in the tiger reserve area.
