All ages & experience levels love fishing with us, from kids to grandparents! We have safe steps for boarding. All size groups are welcome from just a couple wanting to spend some time on a honeymoon to a large group (up to sixteen people), church group, boy scout group, company trips, guys or girls that work together. Everyone is welcome!

The greater amberjack is a large, elongated fish and has a body coloring that varies from brown to greyish-blue on the top half of their body with a silver to white belly. The greater amberjack also has a dark stripe that runs along their back, from their nose to the back dorsal fin. Some of these amberjack will also have dark vertical bars along their sides. One of the more distinct markings on these fish is a light yellow stripe along their flanks. Greater amberjacks can be found in warmer waters of the Gulf of Mexico, South Atlantic, and Caribbean. Great day on the Gulf of Mexico yesterday. We had one heck of a storm to bust through on the way home but we made it. #30a #redsnapper #panamacitybeachfishing #pcb #fishing #howelltackle

Capt. Harris was born in Alabama but moved to Panama City Beach in grade school, where he developed his love for fishing. He got his first boat at age 14 and has spent the last 12 years in the bay systems of the Gulf honing his angling skills.

Besides sharing his zest for fishing with resident and vacationing anglers, Captain Harris has enjoyed fishing major tournaments up and down the Gulf Coast for the last eight years.

So whether you’re looking to take the kids on a nearshore trip or head out beyond the continental shelf for larger game fish, he knows the waters, the changing seasons, and right where the fish are biting.

The captain that we set up a month in advance canceled on us at 6 AM Captain Harris save the day by coming in on his day off to take us out fishing he was the most polite that a person could be very instructive very helpful, he helped us with every step kept us safe the equipment was better than to be expected the boat was the best one in the harbor and we really appreciate the effort that he put in to save our vacation. On a trip like this you do not want to go with the cheapest boat they will probably leave you standing at the dock. This was a last minute booking for us on a busy holiday weekend. We have been on several deep water fishing trips and the people we used were all busy. “ Our captain knew exactly where to take us to catch the fish we were hoping and we indeed starting catching them quickly after getting to our destination. Unfortunately I was sea sick and so were a couple of our kids. Instead of being frustrated or upset with not getting to stay on the fish he was extremely patient with us and took us back to calmer waters, even took us to shell island so we could hop off the boat and get our sea legs back. While we didn’t catch at many fish as we could have, he still gave us a successful fishing trip and was patient with our situation.
