Refuse to refund customers

I have previously had a really positive experience with Tots however, they have refused to provide customers with refunds they are legally entitled to and which the Competition and Markets Authority have specifically stated should happen for those unable to travel during COVID. Furthermore, Tots now ignore any correspondence which is sent asking for more information about why they won't refund. Customers have been made to either rebook or go through travel insurance meaning they have to pay an excess if applicable. To me this has shown the little respect they have for their customers and the lack of ability to do the right thing by those people choosing to spend money with them. In response to Tots reply- I have sent four emails early July which you have not responded to. Your review of my file is also incorrect in terms of the rebooking.

Thank you for your feedback. I have looked back at our records and reviewed the trail of communication with you which began back in early March when the Covid-19 crisis was beginning to affect European destinations. Due to the pandemic, the FCO restriction on travel was in place during the dates of your booking. This restriction prevented you from taking up your accommodation booking at the property that you booked in Lanzarote. Whilst you were not eligible for a refund as per our terms and conditions and those of the supplier we offered you an option to reschedule your booking to a time when travel would be permitted, which you opted for back in April. With regards to your recent communication relating to the CMA, we have taken legal advice to ensure our actions are in line with consumer law, which they have been. We are advised that what the CMA are demanding will require a change in the law and so whilst the CMA view is published it is not currently law. Having reviewed your file, all correspondence has been responded to politely and promptly so I am unsure as to why you feel we have ignored you. The option to reschedule dates is still open and available to you and we would be delighted to do all we can to help find suitable new dates for you to take up your booking. I would add that we have acted throughout this crises both in accordance with our customer terms and conditions and with our supplier terms. These are legally binding terms and have not been altered negatively in any way. So where customers are eligible for refunds, based on supplier terms, we have made refunds. Where terms (that customers sign up to at the point of booking) do not allow for full refunds, we have negotiated flexible rebooking terms for customers who were prevented from travelling due to the FCO restriction on travel. We're sorry that you have found this a frustrating situation. I can only apologise that we haven't been able to resolve this to your satisfaction.

Refused to refund deposit even though we cannot travel due to FCO advice

I booked our first family holiday in January before the pandemic. My colleagues gave positive reviews for Tots to Travel so I booked with them. I put a £100 deposit down on a villa in Portugal in August. Due to Coronavirus, FCO advises against all but essential travel to Portugal. Tots to Travel have refused to refund my deposit. They say that my deposit is not refundable no matter what the circumstances are. The circumstances are that I CANNOT travel to my destination due to FCO advice. This is not my fault. I understand the pandemic is not their fault either but they have my money and they have given me nothing in return. How companies behave during this pandemic will shape them going forward. I will certainly not be booking anything with Tots to Travel in the future. My deposit was only £100. Any future booking would have been many times that amount. Very short sighted company. Update: Jet2 have given me a full refund for my flights (£1,300!). Tots to Travel have a lot to learn about customer service. Tots to Travel have also refused my colleague a refund. Looks like they just don’t do refunds. Buyer beware.

Hi Lisa Thank you for your feedback. We're really sorry to read that you feel dissatisfied with the way we’re handling your request to cancel an August booking. The impact of Covid-19 has been wide reaching and we do appreciate that the disruption caused to travel has left people feeling disappointed and frustrated. We have worked, and continue to work, really hard to overcome as much of the disruption as possible and to find sensible and fair ways to resolve what we can. With regards to your specific booking, it's currently premature to assume that the FCO restriction will prevent you from travelling to your accommodation in Portugal in August. There are updates to travel on a daily basis at present (15 June) and we couldn’t with any certainty guess what the situation might be in August. It’s widely anticipated that the FCO will lift the restriction on travel in the near future but we don’t have any further information than that which is available to everyone else. However, we do appreciate that there are families who will be apprehensive about the prospect of travel and this may well apply to you. We are therefore offering anyone with a booking in July and August the option to reschedule their dates to a future date if they would prefer not to travel in the near future regardless of travel restrictions be in place or not. This option applies to your booking. For those not wishing to reschedule their booking, we are extending balance due dates until 14 days prior to date of departure to give as much opportunity as possible for people wishing to travel to do so. This is also an option that is open to you. It is our hope that with these options open we are able to meet the requirements of families whichever viewpoint they hold. These options with full details have been sent to all customers with bookings in July and August 2020 via email. I’m unable to look at your specific account as we don’t have a full name in the review above, but please get in touch with us if you think you might not have received this email. If you wish to cancel your August booking at this point, I’m afraid your deposit will be non-refundable and this is line with our standard terms and conditions that you agreed to at the time of booking. I would suggest that perhaps the best option if you don’t wish to travel is to opt for a reschedule, or if you’d prefer, delay a decision and wait and see if the restriction to travel is lifted so that you are able to take up your booking as planned. Thank you again for taking the time to leave this feedback. I do hope this helps and please do let us know if you’d like any help with either of these options.

Tots to Travel ceased trading

Tots to Travel emailed to say they had ceased trading and our holiday booking has been passed to the owner of The property. I contacted the owner who has said they have only received part of the deposit and we need to pay more to secure the booking. Has anyone tried claiming from their credit card company to get a refund back?

Further to my review a few days ago; I contacted our accommodation provider and they were never paid by T2T. I have never had an email from T2T to say they have ceased trading if it wasn’t for reviews on here I’d be none the wiser. I have managed to successfully do a chargeback via my bank

TtT..... thoroughly good even under Covid!!

TtT have always been about as good you can get through our dealings with them and, having felt it wise to cancel our holiday to Portugal earlier this year, they provided a full refund which will enable us to book again at a safer time. This took three or four months from the date of booking but the important thing is that we received it. During my e-mail discussions with them I was occasionally guilty of a little impatience as, for a while, I thought I might be getting the 'runaround'. I had nothing but politeness in return and shouldn't have doubted them. So we will be happy to re-book with them and their lovely team!

Just brilliant

From start to finish Tots to Travel were brilliant. Time and care was taken over the booking and we felt so reassured. The villa itself was just fantastic, brilliantly kitted out with toys and kid kit! We loved every minute of the holiday and no one wanted to leave. We are planning our next trip. My deposit didn’t make it to the villa, but the booking did...

Reluctant that I have to rate my experience. One star way too many. T2T have transferred our booking directly to the villa for ‘21 (postponed after Covid) ... but NOT the £1,500 deposit! They’ve gone down, taking my money with them. Disgusted. The villa suggests asking ABTA for help, but I don’t think T2T were members (telling!) ... am I right?. Thanks

Poor customer service

I have tried to contact Tots to Travel several times over the past week to discuss a potential holiday booking for later this year. Despite leaving voicemails and sending emails I have received no response! Having since read the reviews on here, I would certainly no longer consider booking a holiday with them. A disappointing experience to say the least.

Flights and kids club

Making the accommodation booking separate from the flights is a bit stressful as in the process of spending one evening selecting flights, the week we wanted to go for then became fully booked. Bye bye my hard earned cash

Took my money for our 2021 holiday but they never transferred it to the accommodation like they had said they did. They have no folded taking my money with them, because they encouraged me to do a bank transfer payment I am unlikely to see my money every again. Shame after having a good 2019 holiday with them.

Amazing Holiday!

Tots to Travel were fab, the accommodation (Green Garden - Tenerife) was so sensibly thought out with plenty to entertain an 18 month old, we had so much fun. Staff on site are very helpful and I’m confident that support would have been given through Tots in the UK if required, given the pre-travel and follow up calls. I’ve recommended to all of my friends with little ones as it made holidaying with a toddler as relaxing and easy as it possibly could be!

Tots to travel have charged money to…

Tots to travel have charged money to our credit card a week ago when we no longer have a holiday booked with them and now can't get in contact to discuss getting money back. It is a lot of money to us, it is disgraceful behaviour.

First and last time

I don’t feel I received any benefits from booking with tots to travel. We didn’t receive items promised on the essential kit and the property was not in my opinion completely safe for children which were the two main factors in choosing tots to travel.

I have asked to rebook my holiday due to cancellation caused by the Coronavirus. I have been denied this and told to contact my insurance company. I understand not offering refunds, but since I gave this company my money ( a large amount) I feel that they should be doing more to help and not just moving me on to another company.

I appreciate your review is a response to our advice rather than our customer service. We have been in touch with you to explain further. We ARE doing all we can to help and are offering you what we genuinely to be the best possible advice currently - the same advice we are giving our own families and friends. Moving your booking as things currently stand is doing you a disservice on two fronts; what you wish to move to may not be there in a year's time, nor the airlines to get you there - it really is all that uncertain. I know no-one wants to hear or believe that, but it's quite possible. You also risk having your insurance cover invalidated. We can't be clearer than this - use your insurance (understand that they are busy too) and be in a position to re-book whatever you wish to only when it becomes safe again to do so. I wish I could advise you on when this will be, but no-one can. I know this is not a conciliatory response but I feel it is my responsibility to be as direct and clear as possible. These iconic characters would not be the same without the talented actors who voiced them.

Whether its nailing SpongeBob SquarePants ' famous laugh or finding the perfect tone for the pint-sized tots on Rugrats , these actors' abilities to shift their voices is one impressive feat.

From Tom Kenny 's decades-long run as the guy "who lives in a pineapple under the sea" to Christine Cavanaugh's turn as several of the iconic characters of the 1990s, learn more about 17 actors who brought some of your favorite TV characters come to life.

SpongeBob on 'SpongeBob SquarePants'

Tom Kenny has voiced the guy "who lives in a pineapple under the sea" since SpongeBob SquarePants premiered in 1999. Beyond his work as the lovable sponge, Kenny, 61, is also the voice of Gary the Snail on the series and has lent his voice to several other projects including The Powerpuff Girls ,  Adventure Time  and  Rocko's Modern Life.

SpongeBob's best friend Patrick has been voiced by Bill Fagerbakke since the show's start. Fagerbakke told PEOPLE that when the show first premiered, his daughters — who were 4 and 6 at the time — "loved it."

"And I went, 'Yes, this is going to be fun.' I figured for a few months and then something else comes along, you hope. But 25 years later," he said.

In addition to extensive voice work, the 66-year-old has appeared on Young Sheldon and How I Met Your Mother.

Bubbles on 'The Powerpuff Girls'

Tara Strong's voice can be heard on numerous television shows including The Fairly OddParents as Timmy Turner, Rugrats as Dil Pickles and the My Little Pony franchise as Twilight Sparkle. But from 1998 to 2004, the 51-year-old was the voice behind Bubbles on The Powerpuff Girls.

Buttercup on 'The Powerpuff Girls'

In addition to her work as Buttercup on The Powerpuff Girls , E.G. Daily's voice can also be heard on shows like Rugrats as Tommy Pickles and Curious George as Steve. Early in her career, the 61-year-old appeared on Laverne & Shirley and CHiPs.

Before stepping into the role of Blossom on The Powerpuff Girls, Catherine Cavadini, 62, lent her voice to the 1980s series Kidd Video and Jem .

As well as voicing Mojo Jojo on The Powerpuff Girls , older audiences might recognize Roger Jackson's voice from the Scream films, as the 65-year-old is the voice that comes through the phone when Ghostface calls.

Dexter on 'Dexter's Laboratory'

Before her death in 2014, Christine Cavanaugh gave voice to numerous iconic characters including Babe in the 1995 film of the same name, Chuckie Finster on Rugrats and Dexter on Dexter's Laboratory .

And speaking of Chuckie Finster, while Cavanaugh voiced the red-headed tot for the majority of episodes during the original show's run from 1992 to 2003, Nancy Cartwright stepped in to voice Tommy's pal later on in the series.

Cartwright, 66, has also voiced Bart Simpson on The Simpsons since 1989.

E.G. Daily has voiced Tommy Pickles for decades, starting back in 1991 when the original show first aired. Most recently she reprised the role on the Rugrats reboot that kicked off in 2021.

The Brain on 'Pinky and the Brain'

During Pinky and the Brain' s four-year run, Maurice LaMarche played the smaller of the two mice, The Brain. LaMarche, 66, has had a storied career in voice acting that included other roles on shows like Space Goofs , Transformers: Rescue Bots, Futurama, Rick and Morty and the film Zootopia .

The second half of the Pinky and the Brain duo was voiced by Rob Paulsen, 68, whose voice has also featured on shows like Animaniacs and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Johnny Bravo on 'Johnny Bravo'

Jeff Bennett, 61, played the titular role on Johnny Bravo from 1997 to 2004. His voice can also be heard on Animaniacs , 101 Dalmatians: The Series, Pepper Ann, Dexter's Laboratory and as the Man in the Yellow Hat on Curious George .

Arnold in 'Hey Arnold!'

At least three different voice actors stepped in for the role of Arnold during Hey Arnold! 's five-season run on Nickelodeon, per IMDb, including Toran Caudell, Phillip Van Dyke and Spencer Klein.

Gerald Johanssen on 'Hey Arnold!'

During Hey Arnold!' s time on Nickelodeon, Jamil Walker Smith voiced Arnold's best friend Gerald Johanssen. Since then, the 41-year-old has appeared on both seasons of Stargate Universe and most recently was on a few episodes of The Rookie in 2022.

Ms. Frizzle on 'The Magic School Bus'

Everyone's favorite teacher Ms. Frizzle was voiced by none other than Lily Tomlin for The Magic School Bus ' four seasons. While we only hear her voice in the role, Tomlin, 84, has of course starred in numerous projects in front of the camera, including Nashville , 9 to 5 and Grace and Frankie .

Penny Proud on 'The Proud Family'

From 2001 to 2005, Kyla Pratt voiced Penny Proud on Disney Channel's The Proud Family . The show returned with a reboot titled The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder in 2022, and Pratt, 37, reprised the role nearly 20 years later.

Before stepping into the role of Suga Mama on The Proud Family beginning in 2001, Jo Marie Payton played Harriette Winslow on Family Matters from 1989-1997. More recently Payton, 73, reprised her Proud Family role on the show's 2021 reboot.

Kim Possible on 'Kim Possible'

Another Disney Channel cartoon favorite was Kim Possible, which aired from 2002 to 2007. Christy Carlson Romano, 40, voiced the titular character after landing her breakout role on Even Stevens .

Wilma Flintstone on 'The Flintstones'

Jean Vander Pyl voiced Wilma — and Pebbles! — Flintstone in the 1960s series The Flintstones . She would reprise the role on numerous occasions and also lent her voice to another popular cartoon of the time, The Jetsons . In 1994 she appeared in The Flintstones live action movie as Mrs. Feldspar.

Before Alan Reed voiced Fred Flintstone on the series, the actor lent his voice to Disney's Lady and the Tramp in 1955. In 1961, he also appeared in Breakfast at Tiffany's.
