Service is horrible. They will start to help you and just walk away. The older white woman (forgot her name) is the one person who's genuinely a good help. Truck parking has no reserved markings. Don't be fooled if it's your first time here. Every spot is a reserved spot. Don't pay for spots you think are free and you'll have a middle aged acne covered sad excuse of a man beating on your door screaming pay or leave. Stereotypical wannabe cop who couldn't make it. Very rare I say this about TA stops, but if you can avoid stopping here that is your best bet.

Signed in for tractor steering alignment yesterday afternoon,told need to wait , so I did. Wait till yesterday night , they told me " we won't able to call u in tonight , but we'll call u tomorrow 8am-10am . Then here I come TA at 8 am waiting for call till 11am . I called shop , guess what they says , " I don't know who u talking to yesterday night, but alignment specialist is not working today and tomorrow." The hole thing is ridiculous, I just got play around.

I am a hiker and actually came to the wrong TA on Dean Martin. I was refused a shower service because I didn't have a CDL. There is nothing on the corporate site that states you have to have your CDL to take a shower. There was no signage saying you have to have your CDL to shower either. I believe this was a case of discrimination. This is actually a corporate location.

The pay & go shower is amazing. It's a great deal for what you get- towels, soap, a hair dryer, etc. After a 5 day hiking trip it was exactly what we needed. Never thought I would be reviewing a truck stop, but it is well deserved. It was a bit weird, you walk in and pay at the counter, they open up the room in the back, which you have to walk through this casino to get to. Not too sketchy though. Workers were very nice and the facilities were very clean.

horrible I mean horrible team . horrible communication and an I believe employee named Jerrica attacked a customer who was blind and trying to leave out the store because he forgot to pay for something .Im thinking about contacting that customer and seeing if he would like to sue / press charges . the man was homeless. They treat the porters like absolute crap. when they have to clean the dried up snot and poop from out the restrooms that the truckers leave constantly and only get paid $12. the only person who seem put together was a very polite African American who had many tattoos . a few weeks ago he helped me out . if you want horrible cus service stop hear . 9/10 they don't even have and bug wash or anything to wipe the front window of my truck ! it's ridiculous . as a truck stop those should always be refilled !! Scott the GM is a prude he only really cares for rich folk And Looks down on everyone and belittles his employees .had a friend who worked here and they let him go due to a family emergency which is crazy .just overall horrible establishment all together.

As of May 9th, 2022. I have visited most of the TA Travel Centers throughout the country. But this one at 8050 Dean Martin Dr, Las Vegas, NV 89139 - has the worst public shower set-up. First of all .....most of the showers at this location lack water pressure - the end result is "Poor Shower Water Pressure" (Drizzling Water so-to-speak). Generally, most of the soap canisters in the shower areas are out of soap. The one I was at this day had no soap and was broken. See images.

I bring my tractor here for all my service needs. George, the mechanic is top notch. He knows what he's doing, and goes WAY beyond other wrench benders. I won't let anyone else touch my Mack. Aaron, also, is exemplary. Made quick work of getting my tires on, balanced, aired up, and road ready. The service staff has always greeted me with a smile, courtesy, and honest repair quotes, and information. Jarline, the supervisor, along with Tammy, these two keep the place moving along. Awsome, as always.

Located on Blue Diamond Road, just across the street from the Silverton Casino, the TA Travel Center is pretty easy to spot. The only real reason I find myself here is to make some sports bets on the run at the William Hill Sportsbook inside the Alamo Casino that is on site. (+) Gas prices are competetive (+) Mini Mart is connected to casino and also several fast food options(albeit at inflated prices) (+) quick and ready access to I-15; you are right there! (+) plenty of drink and snack options (-) my biggest complaint about this place is the surly and indifferent "service" of the cashiers. they will take their sweet precious time getting to you, and if you don't like it then...well, you get the picture. I held off on doing a review until visiting this place at least a handful of times to be fair and objective. It wasn't just someone having a bad day. Bottom line: Service here sucks. Honestly, I will keep coming to the Alamo Casino to get my sports bets in, but I will go out of my way to get gas and any snacks or drinks at another location. Dealing with the attitude is just not worth it with so many other options all over the place. 2 stars. Meh. I've experienced better.

My favorite place, especially nobody bothers when I go & paid for a shower. I relax @ least for two hours. I was talking to a good friend of mine. He was happy to see me & its surprise me that he knows my husband. People that works there are very nice, respectful, good customer service . I recommend the place. I give them more than 5 stars. Thanks for the good service.

I love the place. They have showers where u can go, pay, relax per 2 hours without nobody bothers u. Personal is nice, attentive. I recommend that place. No complains, I give them more than 10 stars.

Travel Center of America (TA) is not called Travel Truckers of America. This is a Travel Stop for people who are commuting through the area. In this store, there is a sign above the fuel desk that says Customer Services. The first service listed is Showers for $14. This is a service that is offered for customers, however this location wants to limit the shower service to only those who possess a CDL License. It doesn't say Showers for CDL Holders or Truckers only. I was told the reason that the showers were limited to CDL licensee's was because the showers were being remodeled which limited the number of showers available. These showers however have been remodeled. I was able to take showers twice in one week before getting the excuse again that they were only available for CDL holders. With this being in a location that sits between travelers going to California or Utah on the I-15, not everyone wanting to take a shower will have a CDL. Since most truckers get free showers with fuel purchases, the listing of showers for $14 under Customer Services offered is misleading to the public! Not all of their staff members ask a person has a CDL license so they are not even on the same page and have been poorly trained by management! Curious to see how much money is the TA losing because of the refusal to offer showers to paying customers, even going to the extent to send these people to their competitors? If you are traveling on I-15 either going towards Utah or California, I would encourage you to avoid stopping at the TA because they obviously don't value their customers or your business! Take your dollars somewhere else where you are appreciated!

TravelCenters of America Joins Chris Buescher, RFK Racing at Las Vegas

As part of an expanded relationship between bp and its Castrol lubricants brand, RFK Racing and Chris Buescher will carry TravelCenters of America on board the No. 17 Ford Mustang in the NASCAR Cup Series event at Las Vegas on October 15th.

The company, a member of the bp family of brands, is a full-service travel center network operating under the TA, Petro Shopping Centers, and TA Express brands, with offerings that include diesel and gasoline, truck maintenance and repair, plus convenience stores and restaurants under a variety of brands.

“bp and RFK Racing have a strong, ongoing relationship and it is exciting to extend the partnership to our new TravelCenters of America network,” said Debi Boffa, CEO of TA. “Next month’s race is a great opportunity to showcase the strong TA brand, allowing our team members and guests to take pride in seeing us on a national stage.”

To kick off the brand-new partnership, Buescher appeared at the company’s annual Operations Leadership meeting this past week at Kalahari Resorts & Conventions in Sandusky, Ohio, to offer its team members a sneak preview of the No. 17 car, and insight into Buescher’s everyday life as a NASCAR driver.

A native of Prosper, Texas, Buescheris a five-time winner in the NASCAR Cup Series, three of which have come this season with RFK Racing. Entering Sunday’s event at Talladega, the 30-year-old driver sits 20 points above the cutline for the NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs, with eliminations happening in two weeks at Charlotte’s ROVAL.

The South Point 400 is set to be Buescher’s 14th NASCAR Cup Series start at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, where he has a career-high finish of ninth-place in the 2020 iteration of the event while driving the No. 17 Ford.

A native of Prosper, Texas, Buescher has enjoyed a breakout season in the NASCAR Cup Series, scoring three victories at Richmond, Michigan, and Daytona, as well as eight top-five and 14 top-10 finishes.

Entering the second race of the 'Round of 12', Buescher currently sits in third place in NASCAR Cup Series points, with a 20-point advantage over the cutline for the post-season, which will eliminate four drivers at Charlotte's ROVAL on October 8th.

TravelCenters of America Raises Human Trafficking Awareness

TravelCenters of America (TA) and bp have announced a new initiative to raise awareness for human trafficking in Las Vegas before the Super Bowl.

“Human trafficking is known to increase during major sporting events and other big gatherings due to an increased demand for illicit services,” TA stated in a press release.

TA and bp are collaborating with the non-profit organization In Our Backyard to distribute TA and bp-sponsored booklets with photos of missing children in the area who are at high risk for trafficking. The booklets will be distributed at convenience stores across Las Vegas, including TA Las Vegas and Petro North Las Vegas.

“Professional drivers and convenience stores are in a unique position to spot the signs of human trafficking,” the statement continued. “Traffickers use the transportation system to move their victims through the country and convenience sites have long hours of operation, ease of access and public restrooms.”

Law enforcement and first responders can use tips from the community to help recover victims in the lead-up to the game and post-game. Volunteers are also distributing 500,000 Freedom Stickers with the National Human Trafficking hotline number, so a victim can call or text for help.

In addition to the booklets, TA is hosting the Freedom Driver’s Project, a Truckers Against Trafficking mobile exhibit that educates truck drivers and the public about human trafficking. On Saturday, Feb. 10, the exhibit will be at the TA Las Vegas.
