Ratings and Reviews

I booked four tickets, when purchasing the flight they don’t give you the option to choose seats and they don’t assure you whether or not you will have seats, so you may run out of available seats when boarding. One of the travelers contracted COVID-19. I bought comprehensive insurance (allrisk) that guaranteed my money back in case of illness or missed flight. I spent two weeks trying to contact Edistinos company but they didn’t want to help me. They asked me for many documents, according to them, to justify the illness. Anyway, I sent all the documents they asked for and they didn't respond in time until I had to write to them again to find out where my case was going. With one day left before boarding, they sent me an email telling me that the case would pass into the hands of the insurer Allrisk. When I contacted them, they asked me for more documentation and at the end they told me that they won’t cover the loss and I will not recieve a refund even with all documentation in order. So we missed the flight and lost the money. awful!

Developer Response ,

Thank you for your comment. We are very sorry for this situation, but eSky has no influence on the solutions proposed by the airline. All refunds are made with the consent of the airline, based on its procedures and terms and conditions. We do our best to help each customer. Unfortunately, we cannot find your booking based on the description alone and relate to your comment. So that we can verify your request and provide all information, please use the contact form: ttps://www.esky.com/about-us/contact, select the appropriate topic, and then provide the eSky booking number and describe the case. This will enable us to analyze the comments and provide the necessary information. Best regards, eSky

Horrible app

I booked one round trip with 4 planes. The app doesn’t allow user to add tsa precheck AND it never sent any confirmations to my email, which I requested several times. There was no way to get a boarding pass either. It does not send boarding passes to apple passport. At the airport when I purchased my baggage transportation, I found that my seats would be assigned at the gate—even though I purchased them months earlier. This meant I was stuck at the back of the plane and loaded last. I am deleting the app and posing my experience in every outlet I have available.
Fist, this company holds itself out as being representative of particular airlines and offering various expensive insurance options none of which the airline is aware of. Any attempts to contact the company, even in response emails sent by them to you, go in vain. Having failed to communicate with eSky the next step is to contact the airline directly…at which point eSky threatens not to honour the very expensive insurance because the passenger has communicated directly with the airline. There is either inherent dishonesty in this approach or a callous inefficiency. Either way not on!

Horrid experience

Horrid experience. My initial flight leaving Canada got cancelled. As such, I cannot make it to my connection flight booked with esky. Their messages seem generated by an Ai chatbot, because their 4 responses were highly inconsistent, and contradicting. There is no way to be reimbursed, even if I purchased their insurance. They cannot put me on a flight one day later, or to another destination to help. They are not willing to find a solution. Unhelpful service, and unreliable. Don't book flights on their website. Just purchase the flight on an airline's website directly.

The whole process was easy and…

The whole process was easy and continuous the only problem has been to conclude the payment with the debit card. All details are correct, the necessary funds are available so why is it so difficult to effect the payment.? There should be a transfer option. Bank to Bank, or Western Union or Money Gram etc... Thanks

Hello, thank you for your opinion, every suggestion is important to us and we are constantly working on making our services better. Have a great day! Best regards, eSky.

I highly recommend the booking site

I highly recommend the booking site. I booked plane tickets (round trip) to Milan Malpensa airport 8 months before flight date. The company is communicating with you both by e-mail and through your account on their website, or app. I suggest dowloading one, since you will have access to your bookings just with one click. We had a check-in online and the boarding passes were uploaded both on the account in the app as well as the pdf files were sent by e-mail. Since the print-out was not required by our airline AirBaltic, I just scanned the boarding passes and got on the plane. Everthing went smoothly.

Hello, thank you for appreciating our work. Best regards, eSky.

multiple options

I was given multiple options not only of flights, but also flight times of same carrier/same day. I would have preferred an option of various currencies. I was only showed one currency (which is not my local currency or dollars). I was also offered reasonable priced hotel options.

Greek experience

I found the flight search to be very efficient with the payment system to be non complicated and swift. I am not very impressed in all of the additional costs associated with the flight. e,g carry bag, weights and measures, insurance etc. all additional costs. if it is so important why don't you weigh your customers prior to flying.

Date of experience : January 25, 2023

Hello, thank you for using our website and for appreciating our service. With regard to baggage dimensions and fees, we kindly inform you that they are the responsibility of the airlines, not eSky. The same is true for the insurance fee. Best regards, eSky.

The booking was quick and…

The booking was quick and straightforward FCO to Paros, Greece. My bank declined the first payment attempt, as I was travelling when booking, which triggered a fraud alert. I could not then cancel the first booking on the website which continued to state 'awaiting payment' while the payment had been declined. So I went ahead and re-booked, by which time the preferred time was no longer available, with a night flight and a 5h night layover in Athens as the next best option.

Good morning, thank you for your opinion. We are thrilled that you have decided to travel with eSky. Best regards, eSky.

First time used process was easy until I didn’t receive the ticket

First time used this process I originally thought it was quick an easy, however, I had issues getting my ticket and boarding pass. Instructed to download Ryanair app. Unable to download on my device. Calls both to Ryanair and eSky over three hours and costs to my roaming charges made it too stressful to book through an agent again. I’ve since booked with an airline direct no issues although costs were higher.

Good site but can be improved

Good site. Takes longer to book than i thought. Its not quite clear whether this is the official Turkish Airline site or another agency. I cancelled the booking midway through the process to confirm.

All in all good

All in all good. Just a bit weird that after payment you dont get an instant ticket but only an email "your booking is waiting for payment". That even though you have gone through the whole Credit Card payment process. The ticket comes only around 30 minutes later. I guess someone is saving money on the payment portal.

Hi, we assure you that we are a fully legally operating company. The airline offers we present are real offers that change on a regular basis. It happens that before you click the offer is no longer valid - which we inform you about. Best regards, eSky.

Absolute SCAM

Absolute SCAM - do not use, do not click to go their website once esky.eu appears in your google search. Make sure you click directly on the airline url which WILL NOT contain esky.eu - this website canabalizes the real airlines urls and cons you into thinking they’re the airline. Then they don’t book you onto the airline, they charge a myriad of “service fees” that are apparently unrefundable. Total scam. Another scammer centre out of India - don’t be fooled by the .eu url either they are Indian and scamming people left right and center. I spoke to Rajit Swamy who refused to refund my flight amount and only 60% refund, even though it was a different airline and not the flight I selected at booking.…so basically they just stole 30% of the cost I paid for the flight that was never available in the first place. Rotten scammers.

This company is a scam

I booked my flight from London to Hong Kong [6908189219] (return flight). I purchased with an insurance (All Risk Trip cancellation or interruption insurance). However, when I request change the date of the flight due to family emergency. E-sky offer a cost GBP 1,500 which is even higher than I purchase a new flight ticket (cost GBP 900). This company is clearly a scam.

10 Things to Do in Sochi If You Love Nature

Lake Kardyvach. Sochi

Host to 2014 Winter Olympics , Sochi is now mostly known for the snowy slopes of Krasnaya Polyana and Rosa Khutor Alpine resort. However, the “Russian Riviera” is much more than a glorified ski-resort. With its picturesque waterfalls and pristine lakes, alpine meadows and spruce-fir forests, snow-capped mountains and dreamy river valleys, Sochi is an ultimate nature lover’s dream.

Aul tkhagapsh.

Founded in the middle of the 19th century, this village only consists of two streets and two lanes. Circled by a picturesque chestnut forest, Aul Tkhagapsh is surrounded by many visually-arresting natural landmarks – a mysterious rock formation called “the canyon of a hundred crying eyes”, beautiful waterfalls with organically formed stone basins and the Tiger cave, which is called so because of the whimsical clay dripstones. Despite its tiny size, the village itself has a lot to offer. You can see the only wooden mosque on the coast, learn about the customs and traditions of the Adyghe people, try on traditional clothes and taste authentic food and local wines.

Aul Tkhagapsh. Sochi

If you love picturesque ancient ruins put the Loo Temple on your must-see list. Drowning in the lush greenery of the Sochi National Park, Loo Temple is the remains of a 10th-century Byzantine temple, that’s been ruined and reconstructed multiple times. The temple was used as a place of worship and a fortification over the years.

Aibga Ridge

This spectacular mountain ridge stretches for 23 kilometers and has the Rosa Khutor Alpine Resort nestled at its feet. The ridge comprises of 10 peaks, with the four tallest being the best known: Aigba peak I (2391 m), peak II (2450,5 m), peak III (2462,7 m) and Black Pyramid (2375,3 m). Save a day or two to explore the ridge, full of rapid rivers, alpine meadows and waterfalls.

Achepsinskie Waterfalls

To admire the spectacular views that Achepsinskie Waterfalls offer, you’ll have to endure a pretty tiring trekking route through the Achishkho Mountain to the Achipse River. But those striking panoramas are totally worth the sweat and while the trekking may be tough going, it has a very decent infrastructure.

Khmelevskie Lakes

Located almost 2000 meters above sea level, Khmelevskie Lakes is an alpine lake system, named after the Russian botanist Vikenty Khmelevsky. Spread around emerald-green alpine meadows and surrounded by lush green forests, there are four rather sizable overgrown lakes and a few smaller ones.

Lake Kardyvach

Arguably the most popular tourist spot near Sochi, Lake Kardyvach is simply breathtaking. Situated 44 kilometers from the Krasnaya Polyana resort at the altitude of 1838 meters, the lake stays frozen for seven to eight months a year and even in summer the water temperature is never hotter than 12℃. The water in the lake changes its color depending on the time of year: in spring it turns green and in autumn it becomes dark blue, and no matter what season, it’s unbelievably clear. Akhshtyrskaya Cave

A unique monument of prehistoric architecture, Akhshtyrskaya Cave is set on the right side of Akhshtyrskaya Gorge, about 120m above the Mzymta River and 185m above sea level. The cave begins with a 20m corridor and then gets divided into two halls, 10m and 8m wide. The cave has been heavily explored by archaeologists, who discovered traces of Neanderthal culture dating back to 40,000 BC.

Shakhe River

Sochi’s second most significant river, Shakhe begins high in the mountains and flows down to the Black Sea . 59 kilometers long, the river has some amazing natural attractions in its valley: Dzhegosh Gorge, 33 waterfalls, stone lake basins, ancient oak trees, rare plant life and so much more.

Agurskie Falls, Sochi

Words can’t do justice to the virgin beauty of the Khuko Lake and scientists are still puzzling over the absence of any life in it. Set between Adygea and Krasnodar Krai, the lake offers incredible views of the mountains Fisht, Oshten and Pshekha-Su.

Current information, why is payment for my booking split into two bank transfers for some airlines.

The carrier requires you to split the service charge into two separate steps. In the first step, you will pay for the ticket. In the second step, you will pay a service charge and any other services such as insurance purchased. You can access each step when you select your payment method.

How Does Ryanair Booking Verification Work?

If a low-cost airline such as Ryanair requires verification of your booking, you will receive an email – either from us or the airline – with all the relevant information along with a link to the verification form.

This is standard practice and your ticket is still valid. However, if you do not verify your booking prior to your flight, you will not be able to manage it or make changes. In addition, you will not be able to use online check-in and will have to pay to check-in at the airport at a cost of approximately €55 per person, per flight.

Before you begin your booking verification, please prepare the following:

  • A device with a working camera that you will use during the verification,
  • Your original payment card and identity document,
  • Your flight booking number (you will find this in your e-mail or electronic ticket),
  • Other details used to book the ticket, for example your mobile number and email address.

The verification form may consist of several steps, so please follow all the instructions on the airline's website. Enter the required information and give the necessary consent. The airline may also ask for a scan or photo of the ID document used to make the booking along with a photo of your face.

My flight has been cancelled. What's next?

If your flight has been cancelled by the airline, you are entitled to either a choice of new flight date, or a refund for your ticket. It is up to the airline to decide on the form of refund – you may receive a voucher, points to use or money, for example.

How you proceed depends on who handles your booking and who contacts you: eSky or the airline directly ( learn more about eSky bookings handled by airlines ). You will find information about who handles your booking in the email we send you with your airline ticket. When stated "You can check the current information regarding your booking here", this indicates that your booking is handled by eSky. If the message reads: "You can find the current schedule information on the airline's website" then your booking is operated directly by the airline.

Remember: Unlike scheduled airlines (for example, LOT or Lufthansa), some low-cost airlines do not have direct relations with other partners such as flight search engines or travel sales services such as eSky . As a result, some customers booking tickets for low-cost airlines via eSky are served directly by the carriers.

eSky has contacted me

If eSky has sent information about a flight cancellation to your email address, the refund procedure is as follows:

  • We will inform you that the airline has cancelled the flight,
  • We will contact the airline to find out what refund options are available to you,
  • Once we have this information, we will send you a message detailing the available refund options; the type of refund will depend entirely on the airline,
  • In the event of status changes or extended wait times, we will send you an email with relevant information,
  • If your booking consists of more than one ticket, we will inform you of the available refund options in one or more separate messages.

Manage your booking in your account .

The airline has contacted me

If flight cancellation information was sent directly to your email address by the airline, the process for rescheduling or refunding is based solely on the airline's own policy. In this case, you will receive all information directly from the airline, including next steps, a list of available refund options and any further updates on your case. To obtain a refund, follow the information sent to you and contact the airline directly, e.g. by email or telephone.

Remember: Refunds for unused tickets include the cost of the ticket and airport fees. Other eSky services purchased alongside the ticket may not be refundable.

How long does it take to get a refund for a cancelled flight?

Waiting for a refund for an unused ticket? Rest assured that if the airline has agreed to this arrangement, your money will be with you soon. Waiting times depend entirely on the airline's decision and can take anywhere between three days and three months. Below, you will find information on who will contact you regarding your refund ( find out more about eSky bookings handled directly by the airline ).

  • If your booking is handled by eSky (you can verify this as the email you received with your ticket will state "You can check the latest information about your booking here"), then we will send you information about your flight cancellation and take action on your behalf as soon as possible to obtain a refund for the ticket from the airline. We will obtain information about the form of refund offered by the airline and pursue the matter to its conclusion. We will keep you informed throughout this process.
  • If your booking is handled directly by the airline (you can verify this as the email you received with your ticket will state "You can find the latest schedule information on the airline's website"), then you will receive all information about refunds, including available forms of refund and deadlines, directly from the airline in the email provided during the booking process. If you would like to know the current status of your claim, please contact the airline directly by email or telephone.

Remember: Refunds are typically processed much quicker if you choose a voucher or points to use against your tickets than if you choose to transfer money to your account or card. The availability of the refund option depends on the individual airline.

Checked baggage and hand luggage - important information

To find out what you are allowed to take on board and how to check in your baggage, see our article .

Airlines usually distinguish between three types of baggage – personal items, hand baggage, also known as cabin baggage and checked baggage which is placed in the plane’s hold.

  • Personal items are always included in the ticket price. This can be a rucksack, a handbag or a small bag that fits underneath the seat in front of you. Each airline has its own size and weight limits for personal items. For safety reasons, the items that can be taken on board are strictly regulated.
  • Hand baggage may be taken on board the plane free of charge or for a fee, depending on the fare and airline and placed in the overhead compartment for the duration of the journey. For safety reasons, the items that can be carried in cabin baggage are strictly regulated. This includes how much liquid can be carried in this type of baggage. Each airline has its own strict dimensions and weight limits.
  • Checked baggage is baggage that is larger in weight and size than hand baggage. On low-cost airlines, such as Ryanair, Wizz Air or easyJet, this is always subject to a fee, while on full-service carriers it may be included in the ticket price. Regulations also allow you to take items in your checked baggage that cannot be carried in your hand luggage, but may restrict other items, such as electronic devices. This type of luggage is recommended for longer journeys. As in other cases, the dimensions and weight of checked baggage are strictly regulated by the airlines. Checked baggage should always be handed in to the airline’s bag drop or check-in desk at the airport before going through security.

To check what baggage you can take on your trip or to purchase additional checked baggage, go to the "My bookings" tab in your eSky account . Don't have an account? Create one and import your booking. Enter the booking number in the field provided and click "Add booking".

Remember: Importing a booking to your account is only possible for bookings made using the same email address as your account.

The eSky app gives you instant access to your bookings.

Baggage and priority boarding

Priority boarding allows you to get a seat at the front of the queue and avoid long lines.

Some low-cost airlines such as Ryanair and Wizz Air also allow you to take additional hand baggage on board as part of this service. However, this is not always the rule, so always check what is included before purchase.

You can purchase Priority Boarding when you book your ticket or at a later date via your eSky account . If you don't have an account, create one and import your booking. To do this, enter the booking number in the field provided and click "Add booking".

What are the baggage limits?

Baggage weight and dimension limits are set by individual airlines. This means that it is best to check how much luggage you can take with you before you buy your ticket.

Already have a ticket and want to check how much luggage you can take with you? Use the "My bookings" tab in your eSky account , where you will find all the information you need about your baggage allowance. If you do not have an account, create one and import your booking.

Enter the booking number in the field provided and click on "Add booking".

I would like to cancel my booking

To find out if you can cancel your ticket and get a refund, please use the contact form or check the refund option in your account .

With most low cost airlines such as Ryanair, Wizz Air and easyJet, it is not possible to get a refund on a purchased ticket. The airlines will state in their booking conditions that their tickets are non-refundable.

In the case of scheduled airlines like LOT, Lufthansa or Air France, ticket refund options are specified in the fare conditions.

How can I check the status of my booking?

You can check the status of your booking in one of two ways. The method you choose depends on whether you are contacted by eSky or directly by the airline ( find out more about airline supported eSky bookings ). You will find the relevant information in the email we sent you with your ticket.

Changes to your booking

How do i change or update the email address i provided at time of booking.

If you have entered an incorrect email address when making your booking, for example a typing error, please contact us by phone to make the necessary changes:

You can also report an error using the contact form .

How to correct or change passenger details?

If you would like to change or correct your passenger details, please contact us using the contact form .

What action we can take depends on whether you want to completely change the data or just amend it slightly:

Changing the details on your ticket , for example, transferring the ticket to another person is not allowed by most airlines.

Correcting incorrect details , such as typing errors in names is usually possible, but the extent and cost will depend on the airline.

Any incorrect information on the ticket, such as

  • Typing error in first name or surname,
  • incorrect date of birth,
  • incorrect passenger title (Mr./Ms.),
  • incorrect passenger type (adult/child),

should be reported immediately . We will check the possibility of correcting the errors mentioned, provide information on associated costs and contact the airlines regarding this matter.

Remember: A lack of diacritical characters on the ticket is not an error – airlines deliberately don't use them. Letters with accents or other special characters, for example č, é or ö are replaced, while spaces and punctuation marks in multi-part surnames are removed.

How to change my flight date?

The ability to change your flight date depends on the airline and is usually subject to additional fees.

If your booking is handled directly by the airline

To find out if you can change your flight date, please contact the airline directly. They will also be able to tell you any applicable costs. Read more about airline supported eSky bookings in our article .

You can also install the eSky mobile app for quick and convenient access to your account.

  • Using the contact form .
  • If you prefer, you can also call us: +48 32 728 30 00.

We will then contact the airline and let you know if a change is possible, how much it will cost and what else needs to be done to make the change.

Some low-cost airlines will allow you to change your flight, but you will have to pay up to 185 GBP, depending on the airline, while some scheduled airlines only allow this for more expensive fares. A change fee is charged per person and per flight included in the booking. If the cost of new tickets is higher, you will have to pay the difference. If it is lower, the airlines will not typically refund the difference.

In some cases we charge a service fee of 20 GBP (per passenger), which is included in the final cost of the change. We will inform you of this before making a final decision.

Sending an invoice

To receive an invoice for your eSky booking, select the "I want to receive a VAT invoice" option when booking a flight or accommodation. This is the only way to request an invoice for services purchased from us.

We will send the invoice to the email address provided. If you still do not receive an invoice, please contact us using the contact form .

How to check payment status?

You can get easy and quick access to your account with the eSky mobile app .

If you prefer, you can inquire about the status of your booking using the contact form or call our hotline: +48 32 728 30 00.

The hotline is open: Monday to Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m On weekends and holidays from 09:00 a.m. to 17:00 p.m.

How to correct invoice data?

You can change the details of the purchaser, but not the passenger, up to 30 days after purchasing a ticket or booking accommodation, although not in all cases. We allow you to change your details:

  • from an individual to another individual,
  • from an individual to a company.

It is not possible to change data from a company to another company or from a company to an individual.

If you want to change the ticket purchaser's details on the invoice, please contact us using the contact form .

Will I receive an invoice for insurance purchased?

An insurance certificate is a financial document similar to an invoice. For this reason, we do not issue an invoice for insurance. You will find the certificate together with your ticket in an email entitled "Your electronic ticket" . If you can't find it, check your account or your Spam folder and make sure you have the email address used at time of booking.

Why is the refund amount less than the total amount of my booking?

The amount of any refund depends on the services purchased with the ticket and the airline's decision on the amount of the refund. The amount mentioned does not include, among other things, service fees and additional services purchased via eSky.

In some cases, airlines refund money for cancelled bookings in several parts, for example, for specific passengers if the booking consisted of tickets for a larger number of people, or where it includes additional services provided by the airline such as additional luggage, seat reservations, etc.

Find out more about what is included in your refund .

When and how will I receive the money for a cancelled Flight+Hotel package?

In accordance with the Act on Tourist Events and Related Tourist Services, refunds may take up to 14 days. The refund will be made by the same method of payment as booking. Once you have requested your refund, we will send you an email with all the details.

What is eSky Wallet and what are its benefits?

You can select eSky Wallet only after receiving a message from us with the option to choose this form of refund or by participating in promotional campaigns.

Train strikes in May 2024: Full list of dates and lines affected

Rail lines are set for disruption in the week following the first May bank holiday as train drivers at 16 rail companies strike on different days.

Train drivers will stage a fresh wave of strikes and overtime bans in May, causing disruption to the rail network.

The strikes are part of a long-running dispute over pay.

Members of Aslef union at 16 rail companies will walk out on different days from 7 to 9 May.

Additionally, all members will refuse to work any overtime from 6 May to 11 May.

Here is a full list of the services affected by strikes and when.

Rail strike dates

Tuesday 7 May

Strikes will affect c2c, Greater Anglia, GTR Great Northern Thameslink, Southeastern, Southern, Gatwick Express and South Western Railway.

Wednesday 8 May

Strikes will affect Avanti West Coast, Chiltern Railways, CrossCountry, East Midlands Railway, Great Western Railway and West Midlands Trains.

Thursday 9 May

Strikes will affect LNER, Northern Trains and TransPennine Express.

Overtime ban dates

From Monday 6 May to Saturday 11 May union members will not work overtime.

Overtime bans, an action short of a strike, means some services may not be running or may be reduced as drivers refuse to work their rest days.

People are advised to check before they travel, as some areas may have no service.

How do strikes and overtime bans affect services?

Strikes tend to mean services on lines where members are participating are extremely affected or cancelled entirely, whereas overtime bans often lead to reduced services.

An underground train pulls into Leicester Square station in central London February 11, 2014. A planned 48-hour strike this week by staff on London's underground rail network which threatened to bring travel misery for millions has been suspended to allow further talks, unions said on Tuesday. Are there strikes on the Tube too?

There have been regular strikes on London Underground too recently, and while there aren't any planned walkouts for drivers, customer service managers are set to walk out on Friday 26 April in a dispute over terms and conditions.

There will also be an overtime ban for the customer service managers on the following days:

Monday 29 April

Tuesday 30 April

Wednesday 1 May

Tuesday 2 May

Wednesday 3 May

Thursday 4 May

Friday 5 May

The Transport Salaried Staffs' Association (TSSA) says the action by its members is likely to cause Tube stations to close at the last minute, including on the Saturday following the strike (27 April), while TfL has said on its website "some stations may need to close at short notice".

Despite the warning, a TfL spokesperson has said they aren't expecting significant disruption.

This action follows strike action taken by the same workers on 10 April, which the TSSA said had a "real impact" with "many stations shut at short notice".

They say they are "extremely concerned" about TfL's 'Stations Changes' proposals.

"We have made it clear that our union will not accept the continued threats to our members' roles, locations, terms, and conditions to stand unchallenged," a TSSA spokesperson said.

"We will continue to take sustained action until London Underground is prepared to negotiate with us in good faith."

Commenting on the impending strikes, a TfL spokesperson said: "We are disappointed that TSSA is continuing with this strike action following a consultation process.

"While we don't expect this action will cause significant disruption, we urge TSSA to continue to work with us to help find a resolution.

"There are no planned job losses as part of these vital changes which will improve the service we provide to customers at our stations."

How can I stay in the loop?

You can use the National Rail's journey planner to see when trains are running.

Why are the strikes still happening?

Aslef rejected a two-year offer of 4% in 2022 and another 4% this year, saying it is way below inflation, and is linked to changes in terms and conditions.

Aslef said train drivers have not had an increase in salary for five years, since their last pay deals expired in 2019.

The union said after its members voted overwhelmingly in February to continue taking industrial action, it asked the train operating companies to hold talks.

General secretary Mick Whelan said the year-old pay offer of 4% and another 4% was "dead in the water".
