During the guessing game phenomenon of 2022, travel lovers got their own game spreading its green and yellow squares across the internet. Meet Worldle — and yes that extra "l" is intentional. The geography-based game is a twist on the popular word-guessing game Wordle , but in this version, players must correctly guess the country of the day. And of course, there's an easy cut-and-paste function to allow users to share their success (or failure) on social media every day.

In its standard play format, a silhouette of a country is shown and players have six guesses to name the correct nation. Along the way, green squares are given based on how close the guesses are geographically to the right country. With each wrong guess, two clues appear: how many miles (or kilometers, which can be adjusted in a settings toggle) it is away from the correct answer and an arrow pointing in the direction of the right country .

For those who want a harder challenge, users can choose to randomly rotate the country's silhouette or to hide it completely.

The free game was launched on January 22, 2022 by a French web developer under the Twitter handle @teuteuf, and by the next month, 577,167 people were already playing along. As he tweeted : "You crazy people! It was supposed to be just a small side project! We are now half a million who played #Worldle today!"

This wasn't the first twist on Wordle designed for travel lovers. In January 2022, Scott's Cheap Flights launched a version based on guessing the right three-letter airport code called Airportle . And since imitation continues to be the greatest form of flattery, especially in the viral guessing game world these days, there are already other geographic versions of Worldle out there, including Earthle , which has ads and requires payments, and Globle , which the Worldle developer complimented as being "gorgeous."

To pick a country at random, start by specifying which continent to use. By default, the picker will use all continents, but you can choose any single one of the major continents:

• North America
• South America
• Australia & Oceania

Our random country picker uses a random number generator to make sure each country from our database has an equal chance to be picked. It is equal to rolling a fair dice with hundreds of sides or spinning a wheel where each country is represented equally.

If you also want to include autonomous regions, and territories, check the "Include territories" checkbox. Finally, press the "pick a random country" button and our tool will return one country at random.

    How many countries are included?

The generator uses a database of 259 countries and territories, last actualized in early 2022. It includes 201 countries and 58 territories and autonomous regions . The random country picker has an equal probability of selecting any of them, like a country wheel. It can be limited to countries-proper only unless you check the "Include territories" checkbox.

The Witcher 3 is hands down, one of the best RPGs of this decade. Few RPGs can match this one hell of a masterpiece by CD Projekt Red.

The cities are booming with vibrant and colorful designs and looks that make you feel like you’re living inside the game, and not just playing it.

What’s more, The Witcher 3 offers so much content that 100, 200, or even 400 hours isn’t enough to cover every bit.

There are times that you’ll waste a single day just riding your white horse while exploring the places of interest or just enjoying the view and scenery that it can offer.

Witcher 3 is a must, and people, regardless of whether they are a gamer or not, should at least experience this masterpiece.

Super Mario Odyssey is one of the best games that came out this decade, and honestly, it’s kind of satisfying and rewarding to see that most of our childhood’s favorite game is coming out fresh and new while retaining the elements of what we used to love about them.

It’s kind of exhilarating, it’s fun, it’s enjoyable, and it’s not stressful.

You’ll explore jungles , safaris , deserted places , underwater dungeons , ruins , and even a city replica that looks like Manhattan .

Everything that Super Mario Odyssey offers is something that you can’t simply refuse or just ignore by not playing it.

This game is one of its kind, and everyone is encouraged to at least try and see the real adventure that resides within this game.

These games are merely suggestions that will allow you to explore the world or the world in your mind by playing them.

With the amount of stress that’s already in this world, I think we should at least give our minds a sense of peace, and with these games, you can get lost easily.

After a dominant performance Thursday night, the Carolina Hurricanes are in a great spot to keep pace in the Metropolitan Division and President’s Trophy chases with a matchup against the Montreal Canadiens.

This is the final meeting of the season between these teams, and the Hurricanes are looking for the series sweep.

Although mathematically still in the playoff hunt, the Canadiens are 26th in the NHL and 16 points out of the final wild card spot.

However, the Habs have played well over the past week. Montreal is on a three-game winning streak, allowing just one goal in each victory over Seattle, Colorado, and Philadelphia. This is the team’s longest winning streak of the season.

Unsurprisingly, Nick Suzuki was a key part of the winning streak, scoring a goal in the last three games. Suzuki’s power play goal against Philly on Thursday was his 30th of the season, reaching that milestone for the first time in his career.

Another Canadien hit a milestone on Thursday. Mike Matheson had three assists versus the Flyers to hit the 50-point mark for the first time in his career. Matheson is the first Montreal defenseman since P.K. Subban during the 2015-16 to reach 50 points.

Don’t overlook playmaker Juraj Slafkovsky as he is making things happen for Montreal in March. He has points in nine straight games, tallying two goals and eight assists.

Montreal has started on time in recent games, scoring eight of their last 11 goals in the first period. Expect the Canadiens to be ready to play from the opening puck drop.

The Canadiens, like the Hurricanes, have rotated goalies over the past couple of weeks. If the trend continues, Sam Montembeault should earn the start for Montreal.

For the Canes, Sebastian Aho and Seth Jarvis remain red-hot. Each player had three points against Detroit, adding to their impressive March totals. So far this month, Aho has 21 points and Jarvis has 12 points.

A key part of the recent hot streaks has been Jake Guentzel. Since joining Carolina, Guentzel has 14 points in 10 games.

The penalty kill deserves as much praise as the offensive output. The Canes now have the top penalty kill in the NHL at 85.6 percent.

Carolina is 73-for-81 on the kill during the last 25 games and has not allowed a power play goal in 24 of the last 30 games.

The biggest roster news is Jesper Fast is expected to return to the lineup tonight. Fast was a full participant in practices this week.

If the goalie rotation continues, Pyotr Kochetkov should make the start tonight.

The oddsmakers have the Canes at nearly even odds on the puckline, so let’s see if Carolina can get a two-goal victory.
