Helping hands.

Serving Rockwall County residents by alleviating financial crisis and providing a medical home to the underserved. Volunteers are needed sorting and organizing donations for the thrift store, food pantry and for special projects.

HANDS OF MERCY

Through Hands of Mercy, volunteers serve pre-qualified families in need with various basic home maintenance and repairs.

SENIOR CARE MINISTRY

Genesis center north texas.

Committed to provide immediate safety and shelter, along with victim care services, for women and children in crisis. Multiple serving opportunities are available.

Through aviation, this ministry takes individuals and teams into areas of the U.S. and Mexico for compassion ministry, disaster relief and construction in order to minister to under-resourced areas.

This ministry serves as the community blood center serving North Central and East Texas. Registration is required.

CHILD PROTECTIVE SERVICES

This ministry helps encourage and support our local CPS workers as they provide services to promote the well-being of children by ensuring safety, achieving permanency and strengthening the families in our community.

CHILD ADVOCACY CENTER (ROCKWALL COUNTY)

This ministry is an interagency, multi-disciplinary partnership dedicated to providing intervention, hope and healing for children and families affected by abuse, trauma and violence and to the prevention of child abuse through education and training,

CHRISTMAS IN MEXICO

Christmas in Mexico partners with the local churches in Mexico to reach out to families during the Christmas season by providing gift boxes to children in need who are connected to one of our partner churches.

COMMUNITY SCHOOLS

All Lakepointe campuses partner with one or more schools in their community. Through the partnership we work to provide teacher encouragement, resources, family support, volunteers, and build relationships within the community.

CONSTRUCTION MINISTRY

Participants for periodic construction projects locally, nationally and internationally are needed. Projects can be a single day or a more extended duration. All projects are pre-qualified based on need or strategy and require prior construction experience from painting to wall formation.

DENTAL MINISTRY

 This ministry reaches out to the community and our church partners in Mexico in a tangible way by offering dental care to those in need. We focus on cleanings, extractions and fillings.

EYEGLASS MINISTRY

This is a compassion based ministry providing eyeglasses and readers to the community and church partners to those in need. Donate your unused eyeglasses.

GIDEONS INTERNATIONAL

This is an Association of Christian business and professional men and their wives dedicated to telling people about Jesus through association together for service, sharing personal testimony and by providing Bibles and New Testaments.

GRACE CLINIC

This ministry provides primary and allied healthcare and education services to the community of Rockwall, regardless of ability to pay, in a manner that demonstrates in word and deed the love of Jesus Christ.

HEART FOR THE FATHERLESS (A&F CARE CLOSET)

This ministry is located at Saturn Road Church of Christ and serves foster/adoptive families in the DFW, offering kids’ clothes size preemie to sixteen, shoes, toys and baby items.

HIV/AIDS MINISTRY

This ministry provides care and encouragement for those suffering from HIV/AIDS at the Hillcrest House in Dallas.

HOPE IS ALIVE

This is a Christian-based Sober Living Home with the purpose of radically changing the lives of drug addicts, alcoholics, and those that love them.

HOPE CLINIC

This ministry provides urgent medical care, health education, personal encouragement, and Christian ministry to the underserved and uninsured residents of Garland.

LAKE ROCKWALL ESTATES COMMUNITY CENTER (LRE)

This ministry is a Lakepointe Church owned and operated community center in Rockwall. The center serves as the base for various ministries in the most under-resourced area of the county allowing us to connect with families in the community.

LP ADOPTION AND FOSTER CARE

This ministry serves children and families in vulnerable situations. They provide support and encouragement to families who are fostering and adopting.

LP DISASTER RELIEF

Natural disasters impact human lives in significant ways. This provides an opportunity for our community to respond for the purpose of providing relief.

LP FOOD PANTRY

This ministry provides an opportunity to directly connect, serve and impact families within our community that need food supplementation.

MEALS ON WHEELS

This ministry serves the seniors of Rockwall County. They are committed to the belief that all seniors have the right to live independently with dignity and respect in their own homes for as long as it is safely possible.

OUR CALLING

A faith-based organization that leads the homeless to live a healthy and sustainable lifestyle by building lasting relationships and making disciples on the streets.

POIEMA FOUNDATION

This ministry is a human trafficking prevention ministry. Poiema educates the public and raises awareness in order to prevent sexual abuse, sex trafficking and other methods of sexual exploitation. They also facilitate the restoration journey of survivors by providing for their physical, psychological, emotional, and spiritual needs

PRAYER MINISTRY

This ministry provides an opportunity for individuals/members to submit prayer requests and have the confidence that they are prayed by their campus prayer team and pastor. The goal is to ensure that each prayer request is viewed, prayed for, contacted, and maintain confidentiality.

PREGNANCY RESOURCE CENTER

A pro-life organization that provides confidential counseling, pregnancy tests, sonograms, educational programs, material support, and post-abortion support.

PRISON MINISTRY

This ministry exists to develop relationships with those in prison through teaching and preaching the word of Jesus Christ.

IMMIGRANT - REFUGEE MINISTRY

Through our local immigrant partner churches there are opportunities to assist refugees and immigrants in the Dallas area.

SHARING LIFE

This ministry exists to demonstrate compassion by effectively and efficiently providing dignified, benevolent services to families in need in Mesquite and Southeastern Dallas County.

S.O.U.L CHURCH

S.O.U.L. Church is where people can meet Jesus and engage in a life-giving community. We are a church without walls, feeding the mind, body, and spirit, of those disrupted by poverty, people in need, as well as our beautiful unsheltered family throughout the Dallas Metroplex. They believe in creating a space where people can have authentic encounters with Christ’s love, discover their gifts, and use them for God’s glory.

STUDENT IMPACT

This ministry works directly with elementary school principals and counselors to identify the families in most need. Services offered range from teacher meals, teacher snacks, teacher of the month awards, back-to-school support for families, and Thanksgiving and Christmas support for families.

TEXANS ON MISSION (TBM)

TBM mobilizes Christ followers to change the world, tackling its biggest challenges by meeting crucial needs after a disaster occurs. TBM offers training for anyone interested in becoming a volunteer, learning disaster relief skills or re-certifying your credentials. Certification is required.

TRINITY RESTORATION

A prison aftercare facility in south Dallas that provides full housing needs, rehabilitation and personal development to get men from prison to recovery.

VIOLA'S HOUSE

An emergency placement shelter for teen mothers faced with an unplanned pregnancy, who may also be at-risk for homelessness.

WHEELS OF HOPE

Wheels of Hope is a compassion-based ministry dedicated to providing wheelchairs, walkers, canes, and crutches to the disabled in Mexico.

WHITE ROCK CENTER OF HOPE

This ministry exists to cultivate hope through basic needs and personalized empowerment, with food, clothes, financial assistance, education, and employment.

2024 mission trips.

Guatemala, a Central American country south of Mexico, is the most populated country in Central America and is home to volcanoes, rainforests and ancient Mayan sites. The capital, Guatemala City, is a modern, urban city but the rural areas suffer from poverty and lack of basic needs such as water and medical. 12Stone Church partners with Medical Missions Ministries in Guatemala.

The name of the Moyo Missions outreach in Brazil is Vinde Meninos, which means “Come Children” in Portuguese. This name was inspired by an old hymn welcoming children to come and give their lives to Christ. In the Gospel of Matthew 19:13- 15, we see the heart of Jesus as He welcomes children as they come to Him. Kids at Vinde Meninos REALLY love soccer! Along with teaching them about the Bible and helping with schoolwork, we like to help them advance their skills in the things they love.

The mission of  Camp Grace is to transform the lives of urban under-served youth through grace with overnight camps. They have found that getting youth out of the city environment for extended overnight stays and showing them unconditional love and speaking hope into their lives is transforming the campers.

Our team will be serving the kids who are attending the camp by providing crafts, doing stations, helping with meal service, and generally serving in any capacity needed for the camp.

Please Note: children will need to be 13 and up to serve

Kenya is in Eastern Africa and is a country of 55 million residents. Deep poverty can be seen in all areas of the country, whether rural or urban. Clean water, sanitation, education, and food insecurity are just some of the issues faced by many of its residents. 12Stone Church partners with World Gospel Missions, Canopy Life International, Choose to Invest, and 410 Bridge in Kenya to serve the people by meeting needs and sharing Christ.

Since the war between Russia and Ukraine began in February of 2022 over 4 million refugees have crossed into Poland seeking peace and shelter. 12Stone Church is partnering with ministries in Poland to serve Ukrainian refugees who have settled in Krakow as well as those entering the border city of Przemysl. You will be assisting the refugees as they board the train to their next place of care. While you are helping board the trains you will be giving gift bags prepared by 12Stone kids ministry to the refugee children.

Although Winston Churchill once called Uganda the “Pearl of Africa” its natural beauty is often overlooked because of the impact poverty has had on the East African nation. In 2012 Moyo Missions stepped into that poverty to build The Village of Eden, a home for orphaned and vulnerable children in Eastern Uganda. You will serve some of these children as well as the missionaries from around the world who live there.

There are many ways to choose which trip is best for you. You may feel a connection to a certain area; a place you’ve studied, visited before, or a specific culture or people group that God has put on your heart. Ultimately, we ask that you pray and ask God for discernment and confirmation as you consider this faith journey.

Each day participants will partner with local believers in their neighborhoods to build relationships with people through community transformation projects, and help bring the love and message of Jesus to that location. You will definitely receive more than you give!

Every trip has different opportunities and challenges so each person’s ability to participate is handled on a case by case basis.

The majority of trips last anywhere from 7 to 10 days.

Trip costs typically range from $1500-$3500. This includes your airfare, transportation, translators, meals in country, and housing. A $100 deposit fee is required once your application has been accepted and will be rolled into your trip balance. If you decide to have a meal or coffee at an airport, this will come from personal money unless otherwise specified by your trip leader.

In addition, you may want to bring personal spending money as some countries have markets to buy souvenirs. These make great mementos to remember your trip by, as well as thoughtful gifts for some of your financial supporters.

Yes. Travelers insurance is supplied for trip participants. Typical coverage might include Accidental Death and Dismemberment, Medical Expenses, Emergency Medical Evacuation, Family Coordination & Repatriation, Assistance Services, Crisis Management Service, luggage, General Liability, Disability Income, etc.

Team sizes typically range from 5 to 15 and vary based on location.

In short, NO! While financial stewardship is extremely important in our walk with Christ, our Heavenly Father provides for the mission He calls His children to do. Your mission trip starts the moment you are accepted, which includes being trained in the support raising process. We believe you will see support raising as an incredible experience of God’s provision because the God we serve is bigger than any number. Pray about which of the countries and ministries the Lord would have you serve and sign up!

Throughout this ministry you will function as part of a team. Your effectiveness is determined not just from an individual standpoint, but also as a team. Each person’s ability to raise funds varies depending on who they know, how many people they know, their ability to communicate effectively, etc. Therefore, since the goal is to fund the entire team, any monies given beyond what you will need will go to support other team members who are behind on their fundraising goal.
