Terms and Conditions of Use
The Ford Parts online purchasing website ("this website"or "FordParts.com") is brought to you by Ford Motor Company ("FORD") together with the Ford or Lincoln Mercury Dealership that you select as your preferred dealer ("dealer"). FORD is not the seller of the parts offered for sale on this website. Rather, any and all parts purchased through this website are sold to you by your dealer. FORD is providing the website solely to facilitate an efficient and easy means for customers to order parts from participating dealers. FORD is not a party to the transaction between you and your dealer, nor does it control the dealer's customer pricing.
You agree to comply with all applicable export and re-export control laws and regulations, including the Export Administration Regulations maintained by the U.S. Department of Commerce, and trade and economic sanctions maintained by the Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Assets Control, in regard to products purchased on this website. You specifically acknowledge and understand that products offered on this website are subject to U.S. export control laws and regulations. You further certify that you are not a prohibited party under the laws of any applicable jurisdiction and you will not - directly or indirectly - without obtaining prior authorization from FORD and the competent government authorities as required by those laws and regulations: (1) sell, export, re-export, transfer, divert, or dispose of any product offered on this website to any prohibited person, entity, or destination; or (2) use the product for any use prohibited by applicable laws, including the laws or regulations of the United States.
Acceptance of Terms and Conditions of Use
This website is open to U.S. residents (excluding U.S. territories) who are 18 years of age or older. Your access to and use of this website is subject to these Terms and Conditions of Use (Terms and Conditions). By accessing this website, you agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions whether or not you have read them. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, do not access this website. FORD may at its sole discretion, with or without notice, modify these Terms and Conditions at any time and such modifications will be effective immediately upon being posted on this website. Your continued use of this website will indicate your acceptance of these modified Terms and Conditions of Use. If you do not agree to the Terms and Conditions or any modification of the Terms and Conditions, then you must immediately stop using this website. By conducting financial transactions on this website, you represent that you are 18 years of age or older.
FORD reserves the right to change, suspend or discontinue all or any aspects of this website at any time without prior notice. FORD, as website administrator and parts manufacturer, or your dealer may make changes to any products or services offered on this website, or to the applicable prices for any such products or services, without notice at any time prior to placement of your order. The products and services listed on this website may not be up to date, and FORD and your dealer are not obligated to update them. The products and services offered or referred to on this website are subject to availability and are subject to change without notice.
Tampering with the site, misrepresenting your or any other user's identity, using buying agents or conducting fraudulent or illegal activities on the website are prohibited. You agree not to use any robot, spider, automated technology, device, or manual process to monitor or copy the information contained on this website and you will not use any of the same to interfere or attempt to interfere with the proper working of this website.
Your dealer, not FORD, is the seller of the parts on this website and all customer prices are set by each individual dealer. All transactions are solely between your dealer and you, the customer. FORD is not a party to the transaction between you and your dealer and does not have any input into or control over the dealer's customer pricing.
Unless noted otherwise, the price displayed for products on this website represents the Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) listed on the product itself or estimated in accordance with standard industry practice. These prices do not include materials/handling fees, labor, taxes or any other fees that may apply. Your dealer is solely authorized to set prices for the product and services, by either accepting the MSRP or setting customer pricing, and for any applicable fees including but not limited to those mentioned herein. Prices are subject to change without notice.
The price of an item will not be confirmed until you order. Further, your credit card will NOT be charged until after your order has been shipped to you or picked up by you from the dealer, as the case may be. Despite best efforts, a small number of the items on this website may be mispriced. If an item's correct price is higher than the dealer's stated price, your dealer will, at his or her discretion, either contact you for instructions before shipping or cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation and the reason for such cancellation.
The amount of tax charged for your order depends upon many factors, including:
- The identity of the seller
- The type of item purchased, and
- The destination of the shipment or location where you will pick it up.
The dealer(s) providing the service(s) and merchandise on this website charge sales tax in the tax jurisdiction(s) in which they are registered. Taxes not collected by them may be your responsibility depending on the laws of the jurisdiction in which the sale takes place.
How Sales Tax Is Calculated
If an item is subject to sales tax at the location where the sale takes place, tax is generally calculated on its total selling price. In accordance with state tax laws, the total selling price of an item may include, some or all of the following; item-level shipping charges, handling charges if applicable, discounts and an allocation of order-level shipping and handling charges and discounts.
The tax rate applied to your order will generally be the combined state and local rate for the address where your order is shipped or the location where it is picked up, as required by state tax laws. Therefore, the sales tax rate applied to your order may be different for an order shipped to your home address than it is for an order for the very same items shipped to your work address or items picked up at the dealership.
Your dealer is solely responsible for accepting/confirming your tax exemption.
Estimated Tax
Many factors can change between the time you place an order and the time your order is shipped. Therefore, the amount appearing on your order as "Estimated Tax"may differ from the sales taxes ultimately charged.
As noted above, transactions made via FordParts.com are solely between you and the applicable dealer. FordParts.com and participating dealers utilize third-party service providers to process payments and store your card information.
Most US-issued credit and debit cards can be used on this website. In order to make a payment, you must enter valid credit or debit card information. By submitting an order on FordParts.com, you authorize the dealer to charge your card in the specified amount. You will receive a receipt of your FordParts.com transactions.
Member Communications
Information you provide to FordParts.com will be handled according to the FordParts.com Privacy Policy which is incorporated by this reference.
FORD and your dealer reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders at their sole discretion.
FORD reserves the right to change or terminate this website, or any parts thereof, at any time without notice. Any and all changes and/or amendments to these Terms and Conditions will become binding immediately.
Shipping/Delivery/Pickup
Delivery options you choose are based on items in stock at your dealer, from the time that an order is received and processed. Your dealer cannot ship to PO, FPO or APO boxes or international addresses other than those in Puerto Rico.
All items purchased from this website are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This means that the risk of loss and title for such items passes to you when your dealer delivers the item to the carrier. FORD and the dealer reserve the right to refuse to replace orders for customers who have made excessive loss and replacement requests determined at the sole discretion of FORD and the dealer.
FORD and your dealer are not responsible for orders that are not received. All orders are subject to a verification process, and any information submitted that cannot be verified by a customer's financial institution(s) may cause delays.
Order Acceptance/Confirmation
Your receipt of an electronic or other form of order confirmation does not signify your dealer's acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of your dealer's offer to sell. FORD and your dealer reserve the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept or decline your order for any reason in their sole discretion.
You may cancel an order via this website that is in a pending processing status on the My Orders page. Once an order is processed, it is your sole responsibility to contact your dealer directly if you wish to cancel the order.
Cancellations, Returns and Exchanges
Your dealer will accept returns or exchanges of most Motorcraft®, Ford Parts and Ford Accessories postmarked within 30 days of your receipt; and, credit you within 30 days. All returns and exchanges must be returned to your dealer in person or via shipping (solely at your expense unless in the case of dealership error), in the original box, in new, resalable condition, with all instructions and hardware, and in the condition it was received; otherwise, it is at the dealership's discretion to accept the return. If you opted not to provide a VIN(s), your dealer, at his or her discretion, may not be responsible for incorrectly ordered parts. Returns and exchanges may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 10 percent, which will be waived if the return or exchange is due to an error by your dealer. Shipping is nonrefundable.
Attempting to return any parts or assemblies that have been tampered with or modified in a manner that affects the resalability and/or safety of the part(s) is prosecutable under the law, and these parts or assemblies are not eligible for return credit, refund and/or exchange.
No-Risk Core Return Policy
By purchasing products from your dealer via this website, you agree that you accept and will abide by the terms of FORD's no-risk core return policy. You can obtain a copy of the FORD core return policy directly from your dealer or by clicking on the no-risk core return policy link.
A core is typically a rebuildable part used as a partial trade-in for a new or rebuilt part and a 'core charge' is similar to the deposit paid for a returnable can or bottle. It is an additional charge at the time of purchase to promote the return of the core when the part is replaced. When the core is returned, the charge is refunded.
Labor costs or any other consequential expenses incurred on products purchased on this website are nonrefundable by FORD.
Product Warranty
You agree to the limited warranties for the products that have been purchased. See your dealer for a copy of the limited warranty applicable to the part purchased.
Accounts, Passwords and Security
You are entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information, including your password, and for any and all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify FORD immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or password, or any other breach of security. You may be held liable for losses incurred by FORD or your dealer due to someone else using your user name, password or account.
You may not use anyone else's user name, password or account at any time without the express permission and consent of the holder of that user name, password or account. FORD and your dealer cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with these obligations.
Errors on the Website
Termination of use.
FORD may, in its sole discretion, terminate your account or your use of the FordParts.com website at any time. You are personally liable for any orders that you place or charges that you incur prior to termination. By entering an order, you accept personal liability for any charges that you may incur even if your account or use of the FordParts.com website is subsequently terminated.
Limitation of Liability
IN NO EVENT SHALL FORD, ITS AFFILIATES, AND ANY OF THEIR RESPECTIVE DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS OR OTHER REPRESENTATIVES BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE OR AGGRAVATED DAMAGES (INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF DATA, INCOME OR PROFIT, LOSS OF OR DAMAGE TO PROPERTY AND THIRD-PARTY CLAIMS) OR ANY OTHER DAMAGES OF ANY KIND, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH: THIS WEBSITE; ANY MATERIALS, INFORMATION, QUALIFICATIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS APPEARING ON THIS WEBSITE; ANY SOFTWARE, TOOLS, TIPS, PRODUCTS OR SERVICES OFFERED THROUGH, CONTAINED IN OR ADVERTISED ON THIS WEBSITE; ANY LINK PROVIDED ON THIS WEBSITE; AND YOUR ACCOUNT AND PASSWORD, WHETHER OR NOT FORD HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. THIS PROVISION SHALL SURVIVE THE TERMINATION OF YOUR RIGHT TO USE THIS WEBSITE.
YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU WILL BE FULLY LIABLE FOR ALL DAMAGES RESULTING DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY FROM YOUR USE OF THIS WEBSITE.
Further, FORD makes no representation that content provided on the FordParts.com website is applicable to, or appropriate for use in, locations outside of the United States. International order arrangements must be made separately and independent of FordParts.com and are between the dealer and customer and may be subject to separate terms and conditions as arranged between the dealer and the international customer.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless FORD and its affiliates and their respective directors, officers, employees, agents or other representatives from and against all claims, liability and expenses, including all legal fees and costs arising from or relating to (a) your breach of these Terms and Conditions of Use; and (b) your use of this website including transmission or placement of information or material by you on this website. This provision shall survive the termination of your right to use this website.
Dispute Resolution
All claims, disputes or controversies (whether in contract or tort, pursuant to statute or regulation, or otherwise, and whether preexisting, present or future) arising out of or relating to: (a) these Terms and Conditions of Use; (b) this website; (c) any advertisement or promotion relating to these Terms and Conditions of Use or this website; or (d) transactions effectuated through this website, or (e) the relationship which results from these Terms and Conditions of Use (including relationships with third parties who are not party to these Terms and Conditions of Use) (collectively "Claims"), will be referred to and determined by binding arbitration governed by the Federal Arbitration Act and administered by the American Arbitration Association under its rules for the resolution of consumer-related disputes, or under other mutually agreed procedures. Because this method of dispute resolution is personal, individual and provides the exclusive method for resolving such disputes, you further agree, to the extent permitted by applicable laws, to waive any right you may have to commence or participate in any class action or class-wide arbitration against FORD related to any claim.
This provision shall survive the termination of your right to use this website.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by, construed and enforced in accordance with the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to its conflict of laws provisions.

Ford F-150 Lightning Is Not Just an Electric Truck, It's Also a Mobile EV Charger
The Blue Oval’s F-150 Lightning electric and PowerBoost hybrid pickups can use an onboard generator to become mobile Level 2 EV chargers and help out other EVs.
- The standard 2.4-kilowatt Pro Power Onboard generator, however, lacks this feature.
- The upcoming F-150 EV, the Lightning, offers an available 9.6-kW generator, while the PowerBoost hybrid is available with a 7.2-kW setup.
Call it the EV Centipede, because Ford’s electrified F-150 models are capable of charging other electric (and presumably plug-in gasoline-electric hybrid) vehicles by using the Lightning electric and PowerBoost hybrid trucks' available 7.2- or 9.6-kW onboard generators. Now that should generate some goodwill.
Dubbed Pro Power Onboard, the optional function includes a 240-volt plug for Level 2 charging capability. A lesser, 2.4-kW variant of Pro Power Onboard is standard on both the F-150 Lightning electric and PowerBoost hybrid pickups, but it does without the 240-volt plug. Ford claims F-150 models so equipped are capable of adding up to 20 miles of range in an hour to a rear-wheel-drive Mustang Mach-E equipped with the SUV's larger battery pack; 13 miles of range in an hour to an F-150 Lightning; and 10 miles of range in an hour to a Ford E-Transit cargo van with a low roof.
View Photos of the 2022 Ford F-150 Lightning
Sure, those sums won't exactly break any charging-rate records, but even so, it's nice to know your F-150 can add a few extra miles of range to the EV of a fellow driver that ran out of electricity just a few miles shy of the nearest charging station. Likewise, it seems consumers who own two EVs yet rely largely on a single charging outlet, can create the aforementioned EV Centipede by plugging their F-150 Lightning into their grid-fed charging outlet while simultaneously charging their other EV from the Lightning's 240-volt outlet. In fact, it seems that with enough F-150 Lightnings, this theoretical EV Centipede can go on for miles and miles, with each Ford truck drawing a charge from the one in front of it.
That said, Pro Power Onboard isn’t strictly for charging other EVs. All versions of the onboard generator are capable of powering or charging small electronics such as cellphones or laptops courtesy of their 120-volt outlets. Or, as we learned earlier, an F-150 PowerBoost hybrid with the optional 7.2-kW Pro Power Onboard generator can power a house.

- Service Ground Check: The charger constantly checks for the presence of a service ground connection. If the service ground ever fails, the charger RED indicator turns ON and shuts down power to the vehicle.
- Thermal Event Sensor: Charger module senses out-of-ordinary thermal events and will decrease charging current or shut the unit down if required.
- GFCI Protection: The charger is equipped with a Ground Fault Circuit Interruption (GFCI) reaction system to protect against electric shock. If the charger module detects an output ground fault, it will shut down power to the output cable and illuminate the RED indicator.
- Insulation: The charger module, connector, cable assembly, and charge coupler are completely insulated, no exposed live parts, to protect against electric shock.
- Unintentional Disconnection: The charge coupler is designed to minimize unintentional disconnection. A pilot signal wire in the cable and charge coupler eliminates the possibility of electric shock when not connected to a vehicle or if an unintended disconnect occurs during a charge. Disconnection during charging is safe.

'Charging has been pretty challenging': Ford's CEO got a 'reality check' when he took an electric F-150 Lightning on a road trip — here are 3 big long-distance issues EV drivers face
Owning an electric vehicle (EV) isn't the stuff road trip dreams are made of, as Jim Farley realized recently.
Ford's CEO took the company's electric F-150 Lightning vehicle for a ride from Silicon Valley to Las Vegas, documenting his experiences on social media along the way.
He admitted in a video posted Aug. 13 to his account on X (formerly known as Twitter) that “charging has been pretty challenging.”
- Commercial real estate has beaten the stock market for 25 years — but only the super rich could buy in. Here's how even ordinary investors can become the landlord of Walmart, Whole Foods or Kroger
- Cost-of-living in America is still out of control — use these 3 'real assets' to protect your wealth today , no matter what the US Fed does or says
- Car insurance rates have spiked in the US to a stunning $2,150/year — but you can be smarter than that. Here's how you can save yourself as much as $820 annually in minutes (it's 100% free)
In the video, during which he’s seen at the wheel of a vehicle, he says that he had just been to a charging site along Interstate 5 in California, where he waited 40 minutes to get a 40% charge on his truck.
"It was a really good reality check of the challenges that our customers go through," Farley said.
The video was posted after a story came out Aug. 10 that a Canadian man abandoned his own F-150 Lightning he claimed failed to charge at two separate stations during a family road trip from Winnipeg to Chicago. He completed the journey in a gas-powered rental vehicle.
"Shifting from fueling stations to charging stations requires new behaviors and opens new possibilities," Farley wrote in a LinkedIn post on Aug. 7 before embarking on his cross-country journey.
Unfortunately, it seems those new behaviors may include learning greater patience and new possibilities may include catching up on your reading while you wait roadside for a full charge. Here are three of the biggest issues facing EV drivers when it comes to charging up for long trips.
Lack of charging infrastructure
Unless you use your vehicle only for short-distance trips, you'll need somewhere to recharge other than your home. But EV charging stations can be few and far between.
According to a recent study by Coast, a company that provides payment tools for vehicle-fleet owners, there are only 22 EV charging stations per 1,000 road miles in the U.S.; that’s compared to 104 gas pumps per 1,000 road miles. In many states, you won't even be able to find one charging station per 100 square miles. Moreover, many states have more registered EVs than they do charging ports. For example, the Coast study shows that Nevada has 49% more EVs than the national average but 19% fewer charging ports per square mile.
This doesn't account for the possibility that any number of these stations could be out of order, as the Canadian traveler mentioned above claimed happened to him during his trip.
Ford announced in October it would expand its EV charging network in North America by 25% to over 106,000 chargers total.

Long charging times
The amount of time potentially wasted in looking for an EV charging station — and then waiting in line for your turn at the port — is only exacerbated by how long some chargers take. A fast-charging, direct-current station can charge an EV battery from empty to 80% in 20 minutes to an hour , according to the Department of Transportation. But that's still significantly longer than it takes to fill a tank with gas.
The lower-performance chargers are even worse. On a Level 2 AC charger, a step below the fastest chargers, it takes four to 10 hours to charge an EV battery to 80% from empty.
Farley posted a follow-up video to X from a fast-charging station in Baker, Calif., which he described as "quick and easy" compared to the previous one.
Range anxiety
Naturally, any EV owner taking a long trip will have to keep an eye on battery power and take note of charging stations in range, which can add anxiety while driving. It can be an even bigger concern in colder months, which can cut an EV's range due to increased power consumption. Consumer Reports found that cold weather cut the average range by about 25% when driving at 70 miles per hour. The effect of cold is even more pronounced if you're making short trips with frequent stops: in that situation, you could lose 50% of your range.
So if you do attempt a road trip with an EV, make sure you have all your charging stops mapped out and bring a good book because you could be in for a long wait.

Ford unveiled the 2024 Mustang Mach-E, with more range, faster charging, and quicker acceleration than past models.
Ford is the No. 2 seller of EVs in the US but still trails far behind Tesla in terms of total number of sales. The Elon Musk-run company has seen its market share in the US slip quarter over quarter but still commands over 50 percent of the EV market. As such, Ford is tweaking its flagship EV in the hopes of improving its market position.
The 2024 Mach-E will now travel around 10–20 miles farther than previous model years
The 2024 Mach-E will now travel around 10–20 miles farther than previous model years, Ford says. The rear-wheel drive motor configuration with extended battery range now boasts a total EPA-estimated range of 320 miles, while the standard battery version will get 250 miles of range. Ford lists the range of the 2024 Mustang Mach-E GT as 280 miles.
In addition, it will accelerate from zero to 60mph in 3.3 seconds, which Ford says is faster than both the Tesla Model Y and Porsche Macan 4 Electric, and will sprint the quarter-mile in 11.8 seconds at 114mph. The Performance upgrade is optional on the Mach-E GT but standard on the new special-edition Rally version of the electric SUV .
When plugged into a DC fast charger, the 2024 Mach-E can charge from 10 to 80 percent in 36.2 minutes with the extended range battery — 8.8 minutes faster than previous models.
Earlier this year, Ford slashed prices on the Mach-E , mostly in response to Tesla’s price cuts . The price cuts were also a reflection of the new reality in which EV sales are not growing as fast as they were in prior years as more customers cast about for the right price as well as more evidence that the charging infrastructure is going to work reliably.
Ford has also pulled back some of its EV investments and delayed certain models as it seeks to broaden its hybrid offerings.

L-Charge’s 1st Mobile EV Charger Starts Patrolling Moscow’s Streets
Highlights :
- The company will provide on-demand charging service to electric vehicles in Moscow, Russia.
- The mobile charger can be summoned via an app to any location in Moscow and takes just 8 minutes to charge an electric car to a range of 100 km, said L-Charge.
Russian engineering firm L-Charge has announced that its first mobile EV charger has started to patrol Moscow city streets to provide on-demand charging service to electric vehicles. It can be summoned via an app to any location in Moscow and takes just 8 minutes to charge an electric car to a range of 100 km, a world record, said the company.
L-Charge also plans to build 4-5 EV charging units to launch them as a mobile charger in Paris, Berlin, New York , Amsterdam and London.
All mobile electric car chargers available in the market today operate on power bank principle and themselves need to be recharged, stated the company. What makes the Russian invention fundamentally different is that it is a mobile mini power station which itself generates energy, stores it and enables other vehicles to recharge without needing to be connected to the grid, said L-Charge. The energy is generated from liquefied natural gas, but the option to switch to hydrogen is already in place.
The company offered this solution – a super fast mobile EV charger – at a product launch in Moscow.
“Around 90% of atmospheric pollution in Moscow is caused by vehicles, and Moscow is a leader in the development of public transport. To significantly reduce hazardous emissions, private and commercial vehicles must be switched to electricity. Natural gas is the cleanest source of renewable energy available today, and in the case of our charger, generation of energy is even 5-7% cleaner than in gas thermal power stations – in other words, it is cleaner than charging a vehicle from the grid or a socket. As a result, we can cut the level of pollution from vehicles by at least one third right now,” said Dmitry Lashin, CEO of L-Charge.
Lashin noted that given the way electric vehicles are developing today, it is simpler to address the issue of moving the chargers than to create a large number of stationary chargers across the city.
“We could continue developing the network of charging networks connected to the grid, spending a huge amount of resources, both time and money. But the problem of inadequate infrastructure can be resolved straight away by deploying a network of autonomous charging stations,” he added.
Moscow has already implemented a list of measures aimed at supporting EV development, making parking for EV’s free of charge, as well as providing free charging at public chargers. A spokesman for the Moscow Department of Transport reportedly said that Moscow is ready to support developers’ initiatives through the allocation of grants.
Together Moscow transport authorities and local business are planning to help car owners to shift to EVs in the upcoming years.

When it arrives, the ZR1 will be the third variant (and fourth distinct model if you include the base Stingray) of the Corvette’s eighth generation. It is preceded by the high-performance Z06 , which debuted in the fall of 2021, and the hybrid E-Ray , which was unveiled in the winter of 2023.
We’ll have to wait until closer to the ZR1’s debut to find out how much it will cost. Currently, the Stingray starts at $68,300, the E-Ray at $104,900, and Z06 at $112,700. Since it’s pretty clear that the latest variant will be the most powerful C8 you can buy, it wouldn’t be particularly surprising if it were the most expensive as well.
