Walking Time Between Stations
Walking can be quick and easy to get around Metro stations, especially during busy times. This map shows you how much time it takes to walk between some stations.
To travel using the Doha Metro, you must buy a travel card. As part of its efforts to promote sustainability and preserve the environment, Doha Metro has suspended the use of paper tickets. Currently there are two different types of travel cards available:
Standard Cards
These are rechargeable cards for travel in Standard Class & Family Class . The card costs QR 10 and needs to be topped up with the journey fare.
In the Standard & Family class, one journey costs QR 2, and the maximum daily charge is QR 6.
Gold Club Cards
These are rechargeable cards for travel in Gold Class which is more luxurious. The card costs QR 100 and needs to be topped up with the journey fare.
In the Gold class, one journey costs QR 10, and the maximum daily charge is QR 30.
You can see a comparison of the two types of cards here:
These cards are valid on both Doha Metro and Lusail Tram . Note that Lusail Tram does not have Gold Class. So Gold Club cards can be used in Standards Class.
30 Day Metro Pass
Doha Metro & Lusail Tram have launched a new 30-day metro pass, offering unlimited rides for QR120 . The pass is valid for 30 consecutive days from the date you first tap the card at the gate.
Standard cards can be purchased at all Metro stations (from vending machines) and some licensed retailers. Gold Club cards can be purchased at Gold Club offices in all Metro stations.
Standard and Gold Club cards can be recharged at station travel card vending machines, the Qatar Rail website, and the mobile app. Gold Club cards can also be recharged at Gold Club offices in Metro stations.
A rechargeable travel card can be used repeatedly as it is valid for five years .
- If you use a Standard card, the rate per journey is QR 2.
- If you use a Gold Club card, the rate per journey is QR 10 .
The rate per journey is the same irrespective of the distance . The travel card should be scanned/punched twice during any journey: first while entering the platform and second time while exiting the platform.
Maximum Charge Per Day
If you travel multiple times during one day using Standard or Gold Club cards, there is a daily limit on the amount charged. The maximum is three times the normal journey rate. From the fourth ride onwards, the ride is free of charge.
That means you will pay no more than QR 6 a day (for Standard Card) and QR 30 a day (for Gold Club Card) no matter how many journeys you make in a single day.
NOTE: You don’t need to tap out and in when changing stations. However, there is a 90-minute limit on travel throughout the network. You will be charged after spending 90 minutes on the network. 90 minutes is enough time to travel any possible route on the Doha Metro network and should not be an issue even if you are changing trains at an intersection.
The trains on the Doha Metro network operate every 3 minutes , so you do not have to wait more than 3 minutes for the next train.
Anyone aged five and above needs a Travel Card to travel on Doha Metro. Children aged four and below do not need a Travel Card and must be accompanied by a fare-paying adult.
- Adult and child fares are the same for any class.
A child must be nine years old or above to travel alone on the network. Younger kids should be accompanied by someone at least 16 years of age.
Mowasalat is running MetroLink feeder buses providing first and last-mile connectivity to Qatar Rail customers within a 2 to 5 km radius of the Doha Metro stations. Over three years, the MetroLink route network has grown to around 60 routes covering areas around metro stations.
Metrolink Price: The service is offered free of charge.
Metrolink Frequency: The frequency of the bus route is 12 minutes, 15 minutes or 20 minutes.
How To Use: You can download the Karwa Journey Planner App on your mobile phone and get a free QR Code. You need to tap in and tap out this QR code each time when you enter and exit the Metrolink bus. From January 2024, you can also tap in and tap out using the Doha Metro travel card (Standard or Gold). Karwa smart cards are also valid for tap in and tap out.

Doha Metro with (and without) kids – everything you need to know before taking your first trip! 24 October, 2021
This post was inspired by the very many people who don’t travel on Doha Metro only because they don’t know how to go about it, and the misconceptions they have about the experience! I’m a great advocate of traveling on the metro, especially now when traffic inside Doha gets crazy! It’s easy, comfortable, and hassle-free. Granted, it does sometimes get crowded during the rush hours, but it will still take you from point A to point B without a delay, even if it means you will have to stand instead of sitting.
I’ve been getting lots of questions on my social media pages about how to start using the metro and whether it’s suitable to travel with small children. In this post, I’ve gathered the information which you will find useful if you’re new to Doha metro, in the form of Frequently Asked Questions. I will also recommend certain Metro routes which are fun to take with your kids!
WHERE WILL THE METRO TAKE ME?
As it is right now, Doha Metro consists of three lines: Red Line , Green Line , and Gold Line .
It will take you from Lusail all the way to Al Wakra or Hamad International Airport (every second train).
Some places worth mentioning along this line are:
— Qatar University
— Katara
— 5/6 Park (get off at Al Qassar station)
— Gate Mall & City Center Mall (get off at DECC station)
— Al Bidda Park
— Msheireb Downtown
— Hamad International Airport
It starts in Mansoura and runs to Al Riffa, which is more commonly known as Mall of Qatar station 🙂
— Hamad Hospital
— Qatar National Library
— Mall of Qatar (get off at Al Riffa station)
It runs from Ras Bu Abboud to Aziziya.
— National Museum of Qatar
— Souq Waqif
— Villaggio Mall (get off at Aziziya station)
There is one main changing station between the lines (located in Msheireb), and one small one between the Red Line and the Green Line (located in Al Bidda).
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST? WHERE TO BUY & TOP UP A METRO CARD?
Since the pandemic, one-time-use paper metro tickets are not available anymore (which is also great for the environment!). Instead, travelers need to buy a metro card which comes in two different variations: a standard card and a Gold Club card . The standard card will grant you access to the standard carriage (or family carriage if you’re a single female, or travel with a family), while with the Gold Club card you can access the VIP section with fancy seats 🙂 You can top up your card at the station (in the machines or in the customer service office), or online (via the mobile app or on the Qatar Rail website).
Standard Card
If you’re buying a new card, you need to pay a one-time fee of 10 QAR. Then you top it up with 5 QAR minimum (a maximum amount of 500 QAR can be held on one card). Cards are available for purchasing in offices located inside metro stations, as well as in Carrefour, Jumbo, Al-Meera, Lulu & Family Food Centre branches around Doha.
Each trip in a standard carriage costs 2 QAR (but if you take more than 3 trips a day, you will only be charged 6 QAR in total – kind of a daily pass, which is applied automatically). The good news is that children younger than 5 travel for free!
Gold Club travel card is a much bigger expense. The card itself will cost you 100 QAR, and can be only purchased in the dedicated offices on the metro stations (not available in the supermarkets like the standard cards).
Each trip in the Gold Club will cost you 10 QAR, and the “daily” pass will be applied once you travel 3 times (30 QAR).
Duration of the trip
Something that not many people taking the metro in Qatar realize: once you pass the gates, you have 90 minutes to complete your journey ! It’s more than enough to get you to your destination, but it’s definitely useful to know that you’re not allowed to stay “inside” the metro indefinitely 🙂
What else should you know?
Your metro card can be registered in Qatar Rail mobile app! This app is awesome in general because it provides you with a route planner. By registering your card you can top it up online, as well as check how much credit you have left, and what trips have you recently taken . The app will also provide you with general updates regarding the metro service.
WHAT ARE DOHA METRO’S MOST IMPORTANT RULES & REGULATIONS?
— Because of the current pandemic situation, you will only be able to travel on the metro if you have green/golden Ehteraz (children are excluded). Your temperature will also be measured before the gates.
— Children below 9 years old are not allowed to take Doha Metro alone – they must be accompanied by a person aged 16 years or above.
— You should behave yourself while on a train 🙂 Annoying other passengers can get you in trouble. That includes activities such as: singing, dancing, distributing brochures, eating, smoking, spitting, etc. Fun fact: per the rules, even chewing gum is not allowed! Not sure if anyone would enforce that though.
— You can travel on Doha Metro with luggage free of cost, but you have to make sure it doesn’t disturb anyone or block any entrance.
— Bicycles are NOT allowed on the metro UNLESS they’re the folding type and are folded during the duration of your trip.
— Animals are also not allowed on the metro, with an exception of service dogs (assisting visually impaired passengers, etc.).
— Photography is allowed inside the carriages and stations, provided that it’s for personal use and it respects the privacy of other travelers.
WHAT IF THERE’S NO STATION NEAR ME?
Not all hope is lost! 🙂 There are two ways that can get you to the nearest station free of charge! (Apart from walking, which is always free 😉 ).
MetroLink is a network of free buses connecting Doha Metro stations to nearby areas . It’s been shut down last year due to the pandemic, but has since started resuming its operations! MetroLink is operated by Mowasalat and you can find a detailed schedule of the buses HERE . Most of the lines start operating before 6am and run until past 10pm, every 12 minutes.
MetroExpress
It’s like a free taxi service which will take you to the nearest metro station. It operates on-demand and can be booked through a mobile app by registered users . Take note though that it only operates around certain designated metro stations, so it’s best to download their mobile app & check in advance if the station near you is included! Similar to MetroLink, MetroExpress starts operating before 6am, and finishes around 11pm.
IS IT EASY TO TAKE KIDS ON THE METRO?
YES! I can’t highlight this enough! I’ve received countless messages from parents who said they know that their kids would enjoy a metro ride, but they’re afraid it will be too difficult to travel on Doha Metro with children. On the contrary – it’s super easy and convenient . If your child is below 5 years old, they won’t even need a metro card 🙂 All stations are stroller friendly (equipped with elevators, wide gates and wide passages), and the carriages have designated seats for parents with babies and parents with strollers. There’s also plenty of staff around the stations ready to assist in case of any difficulty.
Depending on where you’re headed and what your child would enjoy, you can follow one of the routes which I’ve outlined below.
WHICH ROUTES ARE BEST TO MAKE THE KIDS HAPPY?
Here’s a selection of routes which I personally tried and tested with my kids:
- The easiest route: travel the Red Line from one end to another (Lusail to Wakra or Wakra to Lusail). In my opinion, Red Line has the most fun elevated parts, especially one between Lusail and Legtaifiya. You can see the skyline and take some great photos!
- Get on the Red Line in Lusail or Wakra, travel all the way to Msheireb and switch to Gold Line (changing trains is fun for the kids too!). Get off on the last station (Aziziya). This won’t take a long time, but will allow you to take your child for a treat in Villaggio Mall afterwards 🙂
- If you have plenty of time, get on the metro ( Red Line ) in Wakra or Lusail. Change in Al Bidda to the Green Line and travel all the way to Al Riffa! This is the Mall of Qatar station which is super convenient because the station is connected to the mall directly with a tunnel and you won’t have to step outside even for a bit! We like to take this route and then take our eldest son to the cinema in Mall of Qatar 🙂
- Get on any station along the Red Line or Green Line and get off in Al Bidda for a hassle free trip to the park! 🙂
ANYTHING ELSE I NEED TO KNOW?
If you’re planning to travel on Doha Metro with kids and don’t live near a metro station, I suggest you choose one of the stations with Park&Ride facilities available. This way you can conveniently drive your car to the station and leave it there on free parking. The Park&Ride which I’ve used are located in: Lusail Station, Qatar University Station, Al Qassar Station, Wakra Station.
It’s also good to know the operating hours of the metro – many people make the mistake of trying to travel on Friday morning hoping it won’t be crowded. It won’t because it’s closed. 😉 Below are the timings of Doha Metro:
Saturday to Wednesday: 6 am to 11 pm Thursday: 6 am to 12 midnight Friday: 2 pm to 12 midnight
For the most fun experience, don’t head straight to the family carriage. Instead, go to the opposite side of the train. There are two seats there where your child can pretend to be driving the train! Those seats have the best view and if you get on one of the early stations, chances are you’ll find them empty.
Those were the FAQs. I hope they gave you a general idea about Doha Metro and encouraged you to try it! 🙂 I know that you might still have questions about the Metro. If you do – I would recommend you head to an amazing article on hapondo.qa (click HERE ! ), it’s the most comprehensive source of information about Doha Metro that I managed to find online 🙂

Doha Metro Red Line South will begin its operation for the general population from today. This Line stretches out from Al Qassar to Al Wakra. Out of the 18 Red Line stations, the underlying activity will incorporate 13 stations.
As you are preparing to encounter the new method of going in Qatar, here are every one of the things you have to think about tickets and the expense.
To go on the metro, you should purchase a movement card. Three distinct kinds of movement cards are accessible for Doha Metro - Limited Use Travel Cards, Standard Travel Card and Gold Travel Cards.
In standard class one voyage costs QR 2 and a Day Pass costs QR 6, a Day Pass permits boundless adventures for one day. When utilizing travel credit, you will pay close to QR6 multi day regardless of what number of voyages you make. Grown-up and youngster tolls are the equivalent. Going in goldclub is progressively costly. A solitary voyage in Goldclub is QR 6 and day pass will cost QR 30.
Constrained Use Travel Card - A non-reusable, paper travel card that contains either a solitary voyage or day pass. The expense of this movement card relies upon the kind of item you are acquiring (a solitary voyage or multi day pass) and the class of movement you need to go in (standard class (counting family) or goldclub). Constrained Use Travel Cards can be bought from self-administration Travel Card Vending Machines (TVMs) at all Doha Metro stations.
Standard Travel Card - A reusable plastic travel card that costs QR 10. This card must have Travel Credit added to it before you can utilize it to travel. Include Travel Credit by "Beating Up" at a TVM (Travel Card Vending Machine) at all Doha Metro stations, which should be possible in the meantime as buying the card. This Travel Card does not allow travel in the Gold segment of the Doha Metro trains. This card is as of now accessible at authorized retailers like Al Meera and Carrefour.
Gold Travel Card - A reusable plastic card that costs QR 100 and is just accessible from Gold club workplaces at all Doha Metro stations. This Travel Card licenses travel in the goldclub segments of the Doha Metro trains. This card must have Travel Credit added to it before you can utilize it to travel. Include Travel Credit by "Besting Up" at a TVM (Travel Card Vending Machine) at all Doha Metro and Lusail Tram stations, which should be possible in the meantime as buying the card.
On the off chance that you are utilizing standard and goldclub cards there is an every day top on the sum charged in the event that you travel on various occasions amid multi day. When you have made 3 travels in multi day you'll pay no more for the remainder of the voyages you make - your charge is "topped" at the comparable day pass admission, QR 6 for standard and QR 30 for goldclub.
Anybody matured 5 or more needs a Travel Card to go on Doha Metro. Kids matured 4 and underneath needn't bother with a Travel Card and should be joined by a charge paying grown-up. A kid must be 9 years of age or above to travel alone on the system. More youthful children ought to be joined by somebody something like 16 years old.
A movement card can be utilized over and over, it is substantial for a long time, so don't discard it. Top up the card with movement credit at self-administration machines at all Doha Metro stations. Authorized retailers are not ready to Top Up movement cards. A standard and gold club travel card can hold a most extreme measure of movement credit.

How to Qatar: Navigating the Doha Metro
Buy a Railcard
Queuing up for single-use tickets is a hassle, especially with kids in tow. Instead, get everyone travel cards for QR 10 each. You will have to add credit to the cards before use. Register cards on the Qatar Rail app, so that even if you or another family member lose one, you can still transfer the remaining balance. You can also top up your travel card via the app with a credit card. Fares are staggeringly cheap at the time of writing, with a flat rate of QR 2 per trip, for both children and adults (kids four and under are free). Children need to be at least nine years old to ride alone, or they may accompany another adult or family member who is at least 16 years of age.
Download the Qatar Rail App
As of late last year, all three metro lines have opened and are fully operational. View the entire metro network and check train schedules via your smartphone by downloading the Qatar Rail app. You can also figure out how to get around Doha on the metro by using their “Plan My Journey” function.
Consider Gold Club
A more comfortable rail experience can be had with the Gold Club travel card. While the card is a pricey QR 100, it virtually guarantees that you’ll have a seat regardless of the time of day. It should be noted that both the regular and Gold Club travel cards expire after five years. Again, like the regular travel card, you need to put additional credit on the card before use.
Pay attention to metro exits
Doha is a city in flux, and as a result, some exits merely lead to a glorified construction pit. Examine the boards inside the station to make sure that you are exiting close to your destination or consult one of the friendly staff.
Catch the Metrolink
While the Doha Metro coverage is decent, the network is still relatively limited. However, you can reach a surprising number of places by using Metrolink. This is a free shuttle bus service that gets you from the station to popular destinations that are just that bit too far to walk. Every station has a map outlining Metrolink routes; you can also check the Qatar Rail or Karwa Bus apps for details (Metrolink buses have the letter M on them). They run during the metro’s normal operating hours.
Hop on the MetroExpress
For access to and from West Bay QIC and the DECC, use the MetroExpress. It’s a free service for registered users of the MetroExpress app. The six-seater minivans are comfortable, clean and perfect for families. You order one through the app, much like an Uber. Generally, they arrive quickly, although we’ve waited up to five minutes for pickup. There’s no word on whether the service will expand to other stations, but for now, it’s a helpful service for those based in the West Bay area. For everyone else, there’s the option of a folding bike (we’re only partially joking!).
Hail a Karwa cab
A combination of rail and car can often get you around faster than just driving a car alone and can shorten the amount of time spent sitting in traffic. For trips relatively close to the station, hail a cab using the Karwa app, which offers metro commuters discounted fares for trips to/from the metro (within three kilometres) with the promo code RAIL.
Watch out for deals
If you have family or friends visiting, get them a day pass for QR6 (QR 30 for Gold Club) which nets them unlimited travel on the metro for the entire day. That said, a spare travel card functions much the same, as the daily cap is set at QR6 (QR 30 for Gold Club).
Tourist travels
To promote the services of Doha Metro to the wider community, Qatar Rail often offers free rides to those attending big events in the city, particularly sporting ones. This not only helps users save a small bit of cash but also reduces the amount of traffic on the roads. In any case, you should probably consider this without the free tickets, as no one enjoys being stuck in traffic late at night!

Demand rises for doha metro’s goldclub pass.
With Doha Metro’s standard carriages starting to become crowded, especially during peak hours, the number of passengers opting for the Goldclub travel pass is on the rise. “I want to be seated comfortably while listening to music on my way to work in the morning and going home in the evening, so I bought a Goldclub card though I already have a standard card,” said Ali, an Egyptian expatriate in Doha.
A resident of Al Hilal area, he takes the train in the morning from Al Matar Al Qadeem station to DECC station at West Bay and returns in the evening through the same route. The Red Line’s 13 stations include Al Qassar, DECC, QIC West Bay, Corniche, Al Bidda, Msheireb, Al Doha Al Jadeda, Umm Ghuwailina, Al Matar Al Qadeem, Oqba Ibn Nafie, Economic Zone, Ras Bu Fontas, and Al Wakra. The stations to be opened soon are Lusail, Qatar University, Legtaifiya, and Katara.
Three types of travel cards can be used to ride the Metro-Standard Travel, Goldclub and Limited Use, according to Qatar Rail. Goldclub cards are available at Goldclub offices at the Metro stations. Rides cost QR10 a single journey and QR30 for day pass. Goldclub has larger and more comfortable seats than Standard. The fee for acquiring a Goldclub card is QR100 (valid for five years from the date of purchase); credits for travel have to be added on to these cards.
While children aged below five travel for free, each passenger five and above must have their own travel card. Other passengers echo Ali’s view saying that it is also an advantage to have the Goldclub pass, particularly if one uses the metro regularly. “My wife and I decided to get a Goldclub card since we visit Carrefour at City Center Doha almost every week to buy groceries,” Filipino expatriate Benjie M said.
“The other day after work (West Bay), we went to Carrefour and came out holding several plastic bags,” he recounted. “We rode the train at peak time, it was crowded, so we had to endure standing all along up to Umm Ghuwailina station.”
A number of Doha Metro employees said that many commuters bought Goldclub cards immediately after the soft opening on May 8. “Since then, we saw an increasing demand for the Goldclub pass from families, groups of friends, and individuals,” a staffer noted. About ticket pricing, Qatar Rail said it conducted comprehensive and integrated pricing studies, and introduced several categories to make tickets accessible and affordable to all and available via multiple sales channels.
While warm weather has no effect on how a travel card works, Qatar Rail warns that long exposure to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight such as leaving it on a parked car dashboard may damage the card. Some regular metro passengers said the Goldclub card, which is expensive than the Standard card, can be a better and cheaper option when needed such as going to and fro the Hamad International Airport (soon to open connection via the the Red Line).
According to Qatar Rail, each metro passenger will only be permitted to carry two luggage (excluding small bags) on the train, and each must be not be larger than 85cm x 60cm x 30cm in size. Travelling with these large items, including push chairs or wheelchairs, they must only use lifts (or elevators). “We may refuse your entry if we consider your luggage is too large or unsafe to be permitted onto the networks or any vehicle,” Qatar Rail said on its website.

Things you need to know about Doha Metro Travel Cards
Doha Metro Red Line South will start its initial operation for the public from tomorrow. This Line extends from Al Qassar to Al Wakra. Out of the 18 Red Line stations, the initial operation will include 13 stations.
As you are getting ready to experience the new mode of traveling in Qatar, here are all the things you need to know about tickets and the cost.
To travel on the metro, you will need to buy a travel card. Three different types of travel cards are available for Doha Metro - Limited Use Travel Cards, Standard Travel Card and Gold Travel Cards.
In standard class one journey costs QR 2 and a Day Pass costs QR 6, a Day Pass allows unlimited journeys for one day. When using travel credit, you will pay no more than QR6 a day no matter how many journeys you make. Adult and child fares are the same. Travelling in goldclub is more expensive. A single journey in Goldclub is QR 6 and day pass will cost QR 30.
Limited Use Travel Card - A non-reusable, paper travel card that contains either a single journey or day pass. The cost of this travel card depends on the type of product you are purchasing (a single journey or a day pass) and the class of travel you want to travel in (standard class (including family) or goldclub). Limited Use Travel Cards can be purchased from self-service Travel Card Vending Machines (TVMs) at all Doha Metro stations.
Standard Travel Card - A reusable plastic travel card that costs QR 10. This card must have Travel Credit added to it before you can use it to travel. Add Travel Credit by "Topping Up" at a TVM (Travel Card Vending Machine) at all Doha Metro stations, which can be done at the same time as purchasing the card. This Travel Card does not permit travel in the Gold section of the Doha Metro trains. This card is currently available at licensed retailers like Al Meera and Carrefour.
Gold Travel Card - A reusable plastic card that costs QR 100 and is only available from Gold club offices at all Doha Metro stations. This Travel Card permits travel in the goldclub sections of the Doha Metro trains. This card must have Travel Credit added to it before you can use it to travel. Add Travel Credit by “Topping Up" at a TVM (Travel Card Vending Machine) at all Doha Metro and Lusail Tram stations, which can be done at the same time as purchasing the card.
If you are using standard and goldclub cards there is a daily cap on the amount charged if you travel multiple times during a day. Once you have made 3 journeys in a day you'll pay no more for the rest of the journeys you make - your fare is "capped" at the equivalent day pass fare, QR 6 for standard and QR 30 for goldclub.
Anyone aged 5 and above needs a Travel Card to travel on Doha Metro. Children aged 4 and below do not need a Travel Card and must be accompanied by a fare paying adult. A child must be 9 years old or above to travel alone on the network. Younger kids should be accompanied by someone at least 16 years of age.
A travel card can be used again and again, it is valid for five years, so do not throw it away. Top up the card with travel credit at self-service machines at all Doha Metro stations. Licensed retailers are not able to Top Up travel cards. A standard and gold club travel card can hold a maximum amount of travel credit.

If you are a Gold member and there are no award seats available on the flight of your choice but there are still seats available for sale in the class you wish to travel in, you will be able to book a seat bonus by swapping double the Qmiles. You can also extend this benefit to a companion who is traveling with you and who is on the same booking. Simply contact the Privilege Club Member Service Center at least 48 hours before your flight departs. However, if you don’t travel and cancel before the departure date, your Qmiles will be forfeited.

To give yourself more freedom of choice, you can now use your Qmiles to claim a reward for whoever you want – friends, colleagues or family.

Masters 2024 Leaderboard: First round scores for golf leaders at Augusta
Follow live updates from all the Masters action here or check out our hole-by-hole analysis of Tiger Woods' first round at Augusta National.
The best golfers in the world have once again converged at Augusta National Golf Club in search of the coveted green jacket. This is the 88th edition of the annual Masters Tournament , so will we see a brand new winner or will one of the 18 former winners playing in this year's tournament claim the championship yet again?
Day 1 proved to be exhilarating. Not only did we see the early tournament favorite, Scottie Scheffler , prove why so many people were backing him to win, but a few dark horses emerged as well. LIV's Bryson DeChambeau leads the entire field after Day 1, shooting 7-under par on Thursday. Other golfers who weren't given great odds to start the tournament like Danny Willet (-5) and Nicolai Højgaard (-4) also played some incredible rounds. Even Tiger Woods had some great moments and moves into Day 2 ranking inside the top-20 at 1-under.
From NFL plays to college sports scores, all the top sports news you need to know every day.
Three more days are left in this year's tournament, with one round played each day. The cut will happen after Day 2, and only the top-50 players on the leaderboard will advance into Saturday and Sunday. It's unforgiving, but what else can you expect from a tournament as heralded as The Masters.
Here is everything that happened during Day 1 of the 2024 Masters Tournament.
