Jr motorsports reveals dale earnhardt jr.'s paint scheme for bristol in 2024, share this article.
JR Motorsports announced last week that Hellman’s signed a multi-year extension with the organization . The new deal features a six-race sponsorship for Justin Allgaier in 2024; however, the most notable detail involves its team owner. Dale Earnhardt Jr. will run the NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Bristol Motor Speedway with sponsorship from Hellman’s, and the paint scheme has been revealed.
In last year’s race at Bristol, Earnhardt was sponsored by Hellman’s, but this season’s paint scheme might be the best yet. There isn’t as much yellow, with blue and white taking over most of the scheme. The No. 88 car looks very sharp with white letters and numbers. Overall, Earnhardt will have a clean ride for the Xfinity Series event in September.
It's Mayo Baby. @DaleJr 's No. 88 @Hellmanns Camaro for Bristol is here. pic.twitter.com/KvhoD6N4sE — JR Motorsports (@JRMotorsports) March 28, 2024
Earnhardt goes to Bristol looking to redeem himself. The No. 88 car showed enough speed by leading laps in 2023, but the night was cut short after it caught fire. Earnhardt wouldn’t run races if he didn’t think he would win them, and last year provided more confidence. Everyone can’t wait to see Earnhardt back on the track, and this paint scheme makes it even better.
Chase Elliott to run special throwback scheme from Dale Earnhardt Jr. in 2024

NASCAR at Martinsville: How to watch, TV schedule, favorites for 2024 Cook Out 400
The cup series will visit martinsville speedway this weekend for the eighth race of the season, by logan reardon • published april 5, 2024 • updated on april 5, 2024 at 10:14 am.
It’s time for the final race of the short track swing.
For the third time in the last four weeks, NASCAR is visiting a track that is less than a mile long. And for the second straight week, that track is located in Virginia.
This time it’s a trip to Martinsville Speedway – NASCAR’s oldest track, which has held a sanctioned race every year since 1949 (NASCAR’s first season).
The half-mile short track, known as “The Paperclip” due to its shape, presents a unique challenge for drivers with its long asphalt straightaways and flat, tight concrete turns.
We're making it easier for you to find stories that matter with our new newsletter — The 4Front. Sign up here and get news that is important for you to your inbox.

Here’s the full entry list for Martinsville:
When is the NASCAR race this weekend at Martinsville?
The Cook Out 400 at Martinsville is set for Sunday, April 7, at 3 p.m. ET.
Before the race, there will be practice and qualifying sessions. The 37-car field will be split into two groups ( found here ), with each group practicing for 20 minutes on Saturday.
Qualifying will start immediately after practice. Each car from the two groups will make two laps in the first round, with the five fastest cars on single-lap speed in each group advancing to the final round. In the final round, the remaining drivers each get two laps to set the top 10 starting order, with positions 11 through 37 set based on first round times.

NASCAR Martinsville past winners, race history
There are 11 former Martinsville winners who will race on Sunday, including defending spring race winner Kyle Larson. Ryan Blaney is the most recent winner at Martinsville, taking home the checkered flag in the race last October.
While Larson and Blaney are the most recent winners, they don’t have the best historical stats. That title belongs to Denny Hamlin, who has five wins to lead all active drivers. Martin Truex Jr. (3), Brad Keselowski (2) and Kyle Busch (2) are the other multi-race winners.
Along with Larson and Blaney, Joey Logano (2018), Chase Elliott (2020), Alex Bowman (2021), William Byron (2022) and Christopher Bell (2022) have one career Martinsville victory.
NASCAR at Martinsville favorites, drivers to watch
Hendrick Motorsports and Joe Gibbs Racing have been the story of the season so far – and you shouldn’t expect that to change this weekend.
The two organizations have combined to win six of the seven races to start 2024, with three apiece. Looking at Martinsville, they’ve combined to win eight of the last nine races dating back to 2019, with four apiece. Hendrick leads all organizations with 28 Martinsville wins, including its first back in 1984 – which the team is celebrating the 40th anniversary of this weekend.
So, yeah, the eight drivers for those two teams will be worth watching.
Hamlin (JGR) has five wins, 25 top-10s, 2,382 laps led and a 10.1 average finish in 35 career Martinsville starts. Truex (JGR) and Elliott (HMS) have both totaled over 1,000 laps led in their careers at Martinsville.
Beyond Hendrick and Gibbs, keep an eye on Team Penske. The aforementioned Blaney is the most recent winner at Martinsville and leads all drivers with a 9.0 average finish in 16 starts. Logano, with 18 top-10s and five poles in 30 starts, holds the third-best average finish at 10.9.
Sunday’s race won’t be won in qualifying on Saturday, but it could certainly be lost that way. If a driver puts down a slow lap time and starts near the back, it will be a long day trying to regain track position. Take note of the starting lineup and adjust your expectations accordingly – no driver started outside the top-20 and won at Martinsville since Dale Earnhardt Jr. in 2014.

CONCORD, N.C. – Texas Motor Speedway is one of 14 NASCAR Cup Series tracks where Hendrick Motorsports has posted at least 11 wins. Since 2007, the 1.5-mile facility in Fort Worth, Texas, is the team's fourth-most successful track with 10 victories. RELATED: See all the winners for Hendrick Motorsports at Texas
Last year's race at Texas led to one of the most notable triumphs in Hendrick Motorsports' history. On Sept. 24, 2023, William Byron earned the organization's 300th Cup Series win , making Hendrick Motorsports the first to reach 300 premier series victories. This came slightly over two years after the team passed Petty Enterprises as the all-time winningest Cup organization.
Byron led the final six laps of the race, taking the lead off of the final restart on lap 262. Driving the No. 24 Liberty University Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, he got a big run off the restart to drive by Bubba Wallace and Chase Briscoe to take the point position for good. RELATED: Rewatch this race on the NASCAR Classics website
"It's really special," Byron said of being the driver to deliver the 300th Cup Series win for Hendrick Motorsports. "Growing up a Hendrick Motorsports fan, I watched win No. 200 on TV when Jimmie (Johnson) won that race. I always felt like the gold standard was Hendrick Motorsports. So, if I could ever drive for them, once I started having success in my career, that was the goal.
"When I met Mr. Hendrick when I was 14 at JR Motorsports, I told him that. That was a goal to drive for him. I didn't have a lot of confidence that that would work out, but I was going to put it out there. When we met again when I was 18 and running the (NASCAR CRAFTSMAN) Truck Series and sat down, I just had the confidence that he was going to take care of me and he was going to put me in the right places to succeed. I'm super thankful to him and to give him 300 is really cool. "The 300th win is what will really stick with you in the history books and that's something that still hasn't set in. When you look back on pictures and look back on moments, you'll always remember that moment."
RELATED: Key numbers to know for Hendrick Motorsports in the Cup Series
Team owner Rick Hendrick was in awe of the milestone when it happened.
"If we can win races every year and compete for championships, the numbers will come," Hendrick said. "269 was in my brain for a long time and I didn't think we could ever get there. I owe it all to the people here and the drivers along the way."
This year is Hendrick Motorsports' 40th anniversary . The company just celebrated the anniversary of its first win , just a few weeks shy of 40 years to the day, during the race weekend at Martinsville Speedway. Byron headlined a 1-2-3 finish for the team with his third win of 2024.
Hendrick Motorsports enters the Texas race weekend with 305 wins in the Cup Series at 31 different tracks among 20 different drivers.
