I wouldn't go to see him again. His music and performance style suits smaller intimate venue. He didn't really connect with the crowd unfortunately and the sound wasn't great. His dancing and vocals were incredible though but he was more interested in the band then the audience. We cam out in the rain and travelled from the highlands of scotland to be blown away ...but it was too polished.

Overcrowded. Went with my girlfriend who ended up panicking because of the amount of people. To us it was far too crowded. I’ve been to festivals where it was similar. Just seemed unsafe in the O2 Academy. We ended up leaving to the entrance and just listened from there. It seems like many others were the same, leaving to get some space. It’s a shame since it ruined it for us because the music sounded amazing. I’m just a bit skeptical and think more tickets were sold than the venue could handle.
Leon Bridges' Good Thing show at ACL Moody Theater in Austin, Texas was the for real BEST THING I've seen in a long time! (and I am not prone to hyperbole) He led the audience through quiet stories like "Georgia to Texas" and magical love stories like "Beyond" and sexy times like "Mrs." Also, his smooth moves stirred up things, and got the sold-out crowd on its feet for "Bad Bad News" and " Smooth Sailin." He brought new band members, a new fashion style, and new jazzy sounds to his live show; however, he also gave his faithful fans the songs we know by heart from Coming Home - "Better Man" and "Lisa Sawyer." We could especially feel the Leon Bridges love during the stop-the-show greatness of his encore performance of "The River" with Brittni Jessie! Folks were still groovin to "Mississippi Kisses" even as they exited the theater. Merci beaucoup to LEON BRIDGES and all of his team!

Stagecoach 2024: How to Find Last-Minute Tickets and Weekend Passes to the Country Music Fest
By John Lonsdale
John Lonsdale
If you purchase an independently reviewed product or service through a link on our website, Rolling Stone may receive an affiliate commission.
Quick Answer: Stagecoach tickets have sold out, but fans can still find available passes on sites like StubHub and Vivid Seats .
Country music fans, mark your calendars. Eric Church, Miranda Lambert, and Morgan Wallen are set to headline California’s Stagecoach country music festival this year, which returns to the Empire Polo Club at the end of April. Stagecoach tickets have officially been on sale for months, with general admission and weekend passes sold out on the fest’s website. Don’t want to miss out on the action? Here’s what you need to know to buy sold-out Stagecoach tickets online, plus the artists and bands rocking the desert that weekend.
Where to Buy Stagecoach Tickets Online: 3-Day Passes, VIP Tickets, GA Tickets
As with a lot of festivals, general admission and VIP passes for Stagecoach have seemingly sold out online, including the Corral Standing Pit and Rhinestone Saloon passes. Right now, you can join Stagecoach’s waitlist if passes open up. But that’s not the only place you can score 2024 Stagecoach tickets. You can find three-day passes and single-day tickets on a variety of ticket reseller sites, including Vivid Seats and StubHub .
Buy Stagecoach Tickets on StubHub
If you’re still looking for last-minute three-day passes to Stagecoach, you might try looking on StubHub . The ticket site currently has several available general admission tickets available, starting at $416 a piece for a three-day pass, and as much as $500 each for Friday night only. It’s worth noting that you may end up paying more than face value on resale sites, and we recommend comparing prices to other sellers if you don’t have any luck after joining the waitlist.
Buy Stagecoach Tickets on Vivid Seats
Vivid Seats often has festival passes available, even when shows initially sell out. The site currently has Stagecoach passes to buy for all three days or single days. We spotted three-day GA passes starting at $461 at the time of this writing. Pro tip: Rolling Stone readers can use our exclusive promo code RS2024 to save $20 if you spend $200 or more for a first-time purchase on Vivid Seats.
Buy Stagecoach Tickets on SeatGeek
Another site that offers Stagecoach passes is SeatGeek . Like the other shops on this guide, SeatGeek currently has both three-day and single-day tickets available to shop on its site. Three-day passes are currently on sale for about $500 a piece, while single-day tickets for Friday’s shows are going for around $518 for Friday, $723 for Saturday, and $676 for Sunday. If you want to score a small discount on your tickets, fans can use the promo code ROLLINGSTONE10 to save $10 off eligible first ticket purchases over $250.
Can You Livestream Stagecoach 2024 Online?
Nothing compares to seeing your favorite country artists and bands play live in the desert. But if you can’t swing the 2024 Stagecoach schedule or missed out on tickets, you might still be able to watch some of the music fest’s lineup from home. Fans can tune into the Stagecoach livestream when it airs on Prime Video later this month.
Who’s Headlining Stagecoach 2024? Schedule, Lineup
Church’s fans will get the chance to see the star for his headlining set on the first night of the music festival. Lambert will headline the Mane Stage Saturday night, with Wallen wrapping up the weekend as Sunday evening’s headlining act. Stagecoach 2024’s lineup also includes acts including Post Malone, Willie Nelson, Jelly Roll, Elle King, Leon Bridges, Hardy, Bailey Zimmerman, Dwight Yoakam, Megan Moroney, The Beach Boys, Clint Black, Hailey Whitters, Charley Crockett, as well as Nickelback, Diplo, and Wiz Khalifa.
When Is Stagecoach 2024?
The annual Stagecoach country music festival rides into the Empire Polo Club grounds in Indio, California, from April 26 to 28, 2024. The site is also home to Coachella, which also runs over two separate weekends this month. In other words, if you want to go to Stagecoach, don’t forget to book your hotel ahead of time. You can check available hotels near the festival on Expedia , Hotels.com , and Skyscanner now, though rooms tend to book up quickly.

Sabrina Carpenter Come early for the Taylor Swift cameo-hunting, as she’s rumored to be attending this year and (if true) would likely support her recent “Eras” tour opener. But stay to hear tracks from Carpenter’s LP “Emails I Can’t Send,” which was packed with thoughtful, expertly-sung pop in the spirit of former Coachella headliner Ariana Grande , but with a charm and relatability all her own. Stay even longer to catch a Barry Keoghan cameo . — August Brown
Chappell Roan She killed it as the opening act on the first leg of Olivia Rodrigo’s Guts world tour , where you could practically see her blowing 12-year-old minds with the raunchy and theatrical alt-pop jams from her 2023 debut, “The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess,” which she made with Rodrigo’s go-to producer, Daniel Nigro. Now, Roan is moving on to what she calls “the next chapter” of her career with her brand-new single, the vaguely Eurythmics-ish “Good Luck, Babe!” — Mikael Wood

After returning to L.A. following a near-fatal career setback, Chappell Roan came out, reinvented herself as a horny pop diva and became one of 2023’s rising stars.

Blur There’s a definite KROQ-in-the-’90s vibe happening at Coachella this year and one of the best ways to time travel via alt rock is yelling “Woo-hoo!” with Damon Albarn and Blur as they play “Song 2.” But what has given Blur the staying power beyond the ‘90s hits like “Parklife,” “Girls & Boys,” “Coffee & TV,” “There’s No Other Way” and a dozen others is that the band consistently puts out really good music. Blur’s most recent release, “The Ballad of Darren,” was one of the best rock albums of 2023. — Vanessa Franko
For Damon Albarn, modern life is still pretty much rubbish
Before his solo show at Walt Disney Concert Hall, the Blur and Gorillaz leader sounds off on Taylor Swift, the Rolling Stones, Boris Johnson and L.A.

Aquabats Anyone looking for a mixture of punk-meets-ska-meets-Saturday-morning-cartoons has one thing to say about the Aquabats’ return to the polo fields : “Super Rad!” Any chance to see a band that reminds you not to take life or an ultra-hip music festival too seriously is worth carving out some time for. Even casual onlookers have to stop and watch the wacky band of spandex-wearing superheroes fight crime and giant inflatable monsters on stage between acts that are said to be the next big thing. As MC Bat Commander and company celebrate 30 years of playing shows, making TV shows and building an empire, it’s a reminder that cool bands often have a shelf life but fun, weirdo bands can last forever. — Nate Jackson

Bizarrap The Argentine DJ-producer’s now 59-song-deep collaboration series has become the hottest tour stop in Latin music. He’s booked stars like Peso Pluma and Rauw Alejandro, but his catalog’s crown jewel will forever be #53, where a newly-single Shakira mercilessly strafed her ex over a sinister club beat and entered the all-time diss track pantheon. It cracked the Billboard Top 10 singles chart, and made its producer a global star — he’s got one hell of a contacts list of guests he might bring out for this set. — AB

Tems “Me & U” was a high watermark for Afrobeats, one of the best songs of 2023 and a regal announcement of the Nigerian singer’s own pop potential after she stole the show on Wizkid’s “Essence.” She kept up the pace with the lithe, riveting “Not An Angel, ” and her forthcoming debut album will be a major event in global pop. Catch her up close while you still can in Indio. — AB
Bicep The Northern Irish club music duo have long been underground favorites who thought like arena stars, packing their after-hours material with memorable sonic signatures and lacing their big-tent singles with care and complexity. Now they’ve built a dazzling AV stage show to match, and in the spirt of label mates Odesza and Bonobo, this could be the set that kicks them into a new tier of dance music’s arena acts. — AB
Victoria Monét After establishing herself behind the scenes as a songwriter for the likes of Ariana Grande, Fifth Harmony and Blackpink , Monét broke out big on her own last year with “Jaguar II,” a crafty, witty retro-soul record that led to her being named best new artist at February’s Grammy Awards. Come for the slinky “On My Mama,” about being “so deep in my bag, like a grandma with a peppermint”; stay for “I’m the One,” in which she taunts an ex now unable to enjoy the sight of her “riding horseback towards you, slow motion on a beach.” — MW

Justice There’s a universal truth that whenever Justice plays Coachella, an epic “D.A.N.C.E.” party will follow. The French duo’s first live show was at the fest in 2007, with a performance that may be second only to Daft Punk’s iconic set for the biggest electronic moments of the fest. This is the electro house duo’s fifth time at Coachella and it will mark the debut of a new live show for album “Hyperdrama,” due out April 26. Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker has the potential for a guest spot since he’s on the new single “One Night/All Night.” — VF

Sublime “Life is too short so love the one you got.” Chances are that if you’re at Coachella you’re adhering to one of the tenets of Long Beach’s patron saints of reggae rock. In the ‘90s their blend of reggae with hip-hop and punk rock swagger created a unique lane amid the alt-FM airwaves. Though their style’s been imitated ad nauseum to the point of spawning its own Cali Reggae subculture, none of the offshoots come close to the true passion that inspired Brad Nowell, Bud Gaugh and Eric Wilson to create a soulful, sun-soaked stoner sound all their own. With the late Nowell’s son Jakob now taking up the mantle of Sublime (without Rome), the ability to recapture some of the band’s original magic finally feels within reach. — NJ

Khruangbin When people complain that Coachella isn’t about the music anymore, point them to Khruangbin . Blurring the lines between psychedelic rock, funk, soul and surf rock, the Texas trio’s mostly instrumental jams are best described as sonic comfort. The Coachella appearance comes on the heels of the release of new album “A La Sala,” but their previous two EPs, “Texas Sun” and “Texas Moon” featured Leon Bridges , who is playing Coachella’s country sister event Stagecoach at the end of the month, so here’s hoping he drops by. — VF

Kevin Abstract The former Brockhampton frontman has long been a regular presence at Goldenvoice’s festivals, including Coachella , where the hip-hop boy band played two of its final gigs (at least until the inevitable reunion) in 2022. Brittany Howard Roots-rock fans know her from her roof-raising stint leading Alabama Shakes. But on her own Howard is much harder to classify : Her acclaimed sophomore solo LP, “What Now,” which came out in February, pulls from funk, soul, jazz, psychedelia and even classic house music as Howard uses her powerful voice to ponder the forces of conflict and liberation. L’Impératrice No matter who is playing against L’Impératrice on Friday at Coachella, I recommend ditching them in favor of the French sextet with the snazzy stagewear. After seeing hundreds of Coachella sets over the years, L’Impératrice in 2022 is among the best. Get ready to groove to some French disco with a dash of yacht rock. The dance party was unmatched with songs like “Peur des filles” and “Voodoo?” but since the group just announced a new album, “Pulsar,” out in June, here’s hoping we’ll get a new song or two mixed into the set. — VF
2024 Coachella food lineup is stacked with heavy hitters from L.A.’s dining scene
From multi-course sunset dinners with Outstanding in the Field to VIP-only experiences from Aperol and Postmates, this year’s L.A. food lineup at Coachella is bigger than ever.

Deftones Are Deftones a complete mismatch with the typical hype beast Coachella vibes? Yes. Does that make their set in Indio even more fun to watch? Def-initely. The tortured wails of Chino Moreno combine with the band’s chest-rattling wall of dissonance is destined to harsh the buzz of those who were just looking for a place to nap in between sets — unless you’re a really heavy sleeper. Adding to the KROQ nostalgia machine working overtime at the fest this year, Deftones’ one-of-a-kind aggression connects with sad and angry people of any age, whether you’re a newly-initiated Zoomer or an OG Coachella head. — NJ
Militarie Gun Even as Coachella has skewed to booking the biggest pop stars in the world in recent years, the nods to Goldenvoice’s roots as a punk promoter are always on the lineup with a face-melting punk set or two. Following in the footsteps of Japandroids , Fidlar and Turnstile from previous Coachellas, I predict Militarie Gun is the one to watch this year. Plus, you probably already know the L.A. band’s song “Do It Faster” from that Taco Bell commercial . — VF
Lana Del Rey, Tyler, the Creator and Doja Cat to headline Coachella 2024
The Coachella lineup is here, and the main acts — Lana Del Rey, Tyler, the Creator and Doja Cat, plus No Doubt — comprise the most L.A.-centric in festival history.

Taking Back Sunday Look, there’s a point during every Coachella weekend where the whole thing gets a little overwhelming. This would be a good time to seek out the Taking Back Sunday set — which is fittingly on Sunday. Let all of the feelings flow through you with a cathartic scream-along led by the elder emos in attendance to the band’s classics such as “MakeDamnSure” and “Cute Without the ‘E’ (Cut from the Team).” There should be some decent mosh pit action for this set, too. — VF

2024 ACM Awards: Snubs & Surprises
No, Beyoncé wasn't snubbed. Her album was released too late for this year's nods.

As the final nominations for the 2024 Academy of Country Music Awards were announced Tuesday morning (April 9), there were the usual number of expected names, as well as a handful of surprises and snubs.
Luke Combs leads all nominees with eight nods, and should he win entertainer of the year, he will clinch the Triple Crown Award — bestowed upon acts who, in addition to having won entertainer, have also taken home the trophy for new artist and artist in their eligible categories. Only a handful of artists have snagged the Triple Crown, including Chris Stapleton, Miranda Lambert, Jason Aldean, Carrie Underwood and Kenny Chesney.
Both Megan Moroney and Morgan Wallen received six nominations, with Cody Johnson , Chris Stapleton and Lainey Wilson garnering five nods each.
Tracy Chapman joins the first-timers’ club, scoring her first nod for writing song of the year nominee “Fast Car,” performed by Combs. Another first time nominee is Morgane Stapleton, who is nominated as a producer on her husband Chris Stapleton’s album, Higher , which received an album of the year nod.
The eligibility period for nominations runs Jan. 1, 2023-December 31, 2023, which means fans will have to wait another year to see if current Country Albums chart topper Cowboy Carter from Beyoncé is nominated, since the crossover set was released in March.
The ACM Awards will stream live across 240+ countries and territories on Prime Video on May 16 at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT/5 p.m. PT from Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas. Here is a look at some of the year’s notable surprises and snubs.
DCP is owned by Penske Media Eldridge, a Penske Media Corporation (PMC) subsidiary and joint venture between PMC and Eldrige. PMC is the parent company of Billboard.
Snub: Zach Bryan
By any measure, Zach Bryan had a phenomenal year in 2023, selling out arenas across the U.S. and opening at No. 1 on the all-genre Billboard 200 chart with his self-titled album, as well as topping Billboard ’s Hot Country Songs chart twice, including with his Kacey Musgraves duet, “I Remember Everything” (which also topped the Billboard Hot 100). Bryan is nominated for three awards — music event of the year as artist and producer of “I Remember Everything,” and for artist-songwriter of the year— but he’s on the outside for entertainer of the year, male artist of the year and song or single of the year. He is signed to Warner Records out of Los Angeles instead of directly to a Nashville label, which may somewhat account for the snub, as his label mate, Warren Zeiders, was also shut out. – M.N.
Surprise: Jelly Roll
Jelly Roll received four nominations. The only real surprise here is that this is the first year that Jelly Roll has been nominated: He was shut out last year, and this year’s four nominations, including entertainer of the year, are a reminder of just how far and fast he has come since last year. He is the first artist since Billy Ray Cyrus 32 years ago to be nominated for entertainer of the year in his first year of receiving any nominations. Jelly Roll, who swept the CMT Awards earlier this week, is also nominated for male artist, single and music event of the year. – M.N.
Snub: Bailey Zimmerman
Zimmerman earned two Country Airplay chart hits last year, including the six-week No. 1 “Rock and a Hard Place,” as well as the chart-topper “Religiously,” and saw his project Religiously. The Album. debut at No. 3 on the Top Country Albums chart (in addition to leading his own headlining tour and opening shows for Morgan Wallen). Still, Zimmerman earned no nominations. Though he was nominated in the category last year, Zimmerman wasn’t among this year’s new male artist nominees (ACM rules allow an artist to be nominated twice during a three-year period). — J.N.
Surprise: Megan Moroney
Megan Moroney received six nominations, leading all female artists. The newcomer lands her first nominations including nods for new female artist of the year and female artist of the year, the only woman to appear in both categories this year. In addition to landing two nominations for song of the year entry and top five Country Airplay hit “Tennessee Orange,” as both performer and songwriter, Moroney gets a nod for “Can’t Break Up Now,” her duet with Old Dominion, for music event of the year. – M.N.
Snub: Carly Pearce
After being nominated for four awards last year, including female artist and song of the year, Carly Pearce received zero nominations this year, despite releasing a beautiful duet with Chris Stapleton, “We Don’t Fight Anymore.” The four-time past winner had been nominated for female artist of the year several times in the past, taking home the award in 2022. Similarly, her collaborations had often garnered music event of the year nominations, including wins for “I Hope You’re Happy Now” with Lee Brice at the 2020 awards and “Never Wanted to Be That Girl” with Ashley McBryde in 2022. – M.N.
Surprise: Dylan Scott
Scott, who earned a No. 1 Country Airplay hit last year with “Can’t Have Mine,” is among this year’s nominees for new male artist of the year, alongside ERNEST, Kameron Marlowe, Conner Smith and Nate Smith. It’s a boon for Scott, who released his first country radio single, “Makin’ This Boy Go Crazy,” back in 2013. This isn’t the first time he’s been nominated in this category; he first garnered a nod in the same category last year (an artist may be a nominee two times in a three-year period, per ACM guidelines).
“Can’t Have Mine (Find You A Girl)” marks Scott’s third Country Airplay No. 1 hit, following his 2017 chart leader “My Girl” and 2022’s “New Truck.” — J.N.
Snub: Oliver Anthony Music
Few country artists blazed as fast and bright a trail as Oliver Anthony Music (real name: Christopher Anthony Lunsford) in 2023. Last summer, his viral hit “Rich Men North of Richmond” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, making him the first artist to achieve that feat without having any prior chart history on any Billboard chart. The self-released song, which became a flashpoint for conservatives (despite Lundsford disavowing any specific political leanings), also topped Billboard ’s Hot Country Songs chart. Perhaps his lack of follow-up in the eligibility period and lack of ties to Nashville led to his receiving no nominations, but he seemed a lock for a new male artist of the year nod. – M.N.
Snubs: Carrie Underwood and Miranda Lambert
Lambert and Underwood have both been mainstays at the ACM Awards, with Lambert winning the ACM’s entertainer of the year honor in 2022 (she’s had seven overall nominations in the category). Underwood has previously taken home the ACM’s entertainer of the year honor three times (in 2009 and 2010, and co-won it in 2020).
So it is odd to see neither artist’s name in the running for the show’s top honor. Underwood released the deluxe version of her Denim & Rhinestones album, spearheaded by songs like “Take Me Out,” and continued with her “Reflection: The Las Vegas Residency” last year. She also opened three shows for rock titans Guns N’ Roses.
Meanwhile, Lambert leaned into her songwriting prowess, penning songs recorded by several artists for their albums, while continuing her own Velvet Rodeo residency in Las Vegas. She also teamed with Leon Bridges for a collaboration, and launched the Big Loud Texas label in conjunction with Big Loud. — J.N.
Surprise: Lainey Wilson
Given the seeming omnipresence of Wilson both on the Country Airplay chart, on numerous performance stages and in the media over the past year (in addition to the accumulation of other awards accolades she’s earned), it’s no surprise that Wilson is in the running for this year’s ACM entertainer of the year honor.
If Wilson were to win the EOY accolade, she would earn the coveted ACM Triple Crown honor, which is presented to an artist, duo or group who has earned their respective new artist and artist category, as well as the entertainer of the year honor. Previous Triple Crown honorees have included Miranda Lambert, Kenny Chesney and Chris Stapleton. Wilson won the new female artist of the year win in 2022 and the female artist of the year honor last year. Given that Wilson earned her first ACM Award just a few years ago (along with her first Country Airplay No. 1), it is the speed of her ascendance to the Triple Crown circle that would be the surprise here, if she picks up an EOY win. – J.N.

But doors opened at 7 pm, the show was advertised as starting at 8 pm, but no one even acted like it was going to start until 8:45 and it didn't actually start until 9 pm.
