As a new long-distance destination, we have added Namibia to our program – a must for everyone who loves gravel roads and diverse landscapes. One of the World's Most Expensive Hobbies (motorcycle riding) demands that we're careful with spending when possible, so by going "on your own" with one of our rental motorcycles, you'll be able to avoid the costs of having our guides and support staff with you.

In some regions, we offer pre-paid hotel packages with route notes or GPS to make the trip just a bit easier to carry out, but if you'd just like to rent a motorcycle and "go it alone," a self-guided tour might be just for you!

Some of these tours may still include 1-5% non-paved surfaces such as driveways, hard-packed gravel roads, but they're still the types of trips that nearly every motorcycle rider can handle (be sure to check the trip description or inquire with us.) " FYI, I got back to Uvalde Texas yesterday afternoon. It was a great trip, I would sum it up as successful. The hotels, restaurants, and bike you choose were the best. The route and scenery was unbelievable. The weather was a bigger obstacle than I expected as were some of the roads. Nothing really difficult but 2700 miles was a challenge. Did I tell you that I celebrated my 70th birthday during the ride?  Also I met lots of interesting people.  I’m headed to Colorado to ski in ten days. And then???

- Congratulations to Ed Carnes from Texas for celebrating his 70th year with a successful solo Self-Guided "Fly & RIDE Patagonia, Tierra del Fuego & Ushuaia" trip ! We sometimes wonder if some riders have read too much about the drama of Patagonia's conditions and are turned away as a result. Yes, winds and conditions can be tough sometimes, but Ed just showed us all how to do it: Be patient, keep at it, ride smart without showing off for your friends, and most careful, experienced dual sport riders can enjoy some of the world's best riding safely. This photo taken and recognized as the spot where RIDE Adventures was born by the simple thought " more people need to experience this ." Ed had a few clouds that day, but when that sun cracks and the waters turn bright blue ... oh what a site.

"Eric! We had a f___ing blast. We had a few WiFi-less days at the end or I would have written sooner. Yes- we hit a rabbit (or rather it hit us, pretty sure it was suicidal) in the road btw Perito Moreno and El Calafate. Shook us up for sure. As for mister rabbit- he exploded. The bike took it super well- he hit the crashbars which was lucky.sorry about any damage, looked purely cosmetic, but let me know! The bike itself was awesome- rey thinks the rear breaks might need to be replaced- it had enough brake pad to get us safely through the trip but the pads are pretty much toast by the end of our trip.

You were the first Riders of the season to complete this route, so congrats on the safe finish. As for the rabbit, sounds like he was too "rascally" : )

"My partner and I didn’t speak a bit of Spanish but we chose to do the 7 day self guided tour. I loved Colombia and its fantastic views. The people were friendly and the cities were full of history. Our point of contact, Ricardo, was awesome. He was incredibly helpful and friendly. He went above and beyond what we expected. He will be very successful in this business and you can’t go wrong with him on your side. The bikes were new and in great shape, absolutely perfect for the terrain. We had some problems but nothing we couldn’t deal with and it didn’t slow us down. It was planned for more off-road for us. We had mud, rocks, rain and landslides to deal with. It made it a true adventure!   I think you could ride the country for months and never ride the same road twice. WE WILL BE BACK!!!"

List of U.S. Motorcycle Tour Operators 2020

With international travel in 2020 looking less certain by the week (and possibly risky, not just health-wise but also with the possibility of becoming stranded or quarantined outside the U.S.), this might be a great time to explore this beautiful country.

While you could certainly peruse back issues of Rider (or do some research here on our website) in search of ride ideas throughout the country, you’ll still be on the hook for logistical planning, hotel reservations and knowing whether or not the gas station in that tiny desert town is still open…not to mention handling the “what-ifs” of mechanical issues or a crash. Or you could let a tour company handle all of it, leaving you free to enjoy the ride.

All the companies on this list run scheduled, guided motorcycle tours in the United States using rental motorcycles — either their own fleet or rented from a local source — but you should obviously check with them right off the bat to make sure they’re still running tours this year.

Most have a chase vehicle to carry your luggage and gear and to deal with mechanical issues that may occur en route. Some companies will allow you to ride your own bike, but check for any restrictions. The information here is provided by the companies, and not guaranteed by Rider .

PARK CIT Y DUAL-SPOR T RIDE - AUGUST 25-29, 2024

*Our world-famous off-road motorcycle ride is an event unlike any other. It starts from a 27,000 square-foot log cabin and explores some of the most-beautiful scenery in the United States. Prices range from $3295 to $3995 depending on accommodations. This ride typically has several guest riders. In 2021 it included Guy Cooper and Grant Langston, 2022 included Guy Cooper and Destry Abbott, those two were joined in 2023 by Rodney Smith and Mason Klein. A s urprise special guest or two is planned for 2024!

THE BUCKETLIST RIDE - PARK CITY 2024

     Our Bucketlist ride takes place in the beautiful Park City region in Utah, and its one of the very best rides in the United States. Park City 2024 will be an experience that will overwhelm the senses, tantalize the imagination and provide a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

This ride is an exclusive 4-night, 5-day luxury outing,  and cost ranges from $3295 to $3995 per person. This is a high-end adventure, designed for real off-road riding enthusiasts.  Although we encourage our customers to ride their personal street-legal dual-sport bikes, we do have several rentals for those who really need a bike.

     For this event , which is more like a dirt bike vacation, we plan to include intermediate- and expert-level riding tips from our staff and celebrity riders, along with photos and video of your adventure. That’s right, the award-winning Mark Kariya and Ken Faught—names you've seen in magazines like Dirt Rider, Dirt Bike , Cycle News and Racer X for over 25 years—will be shooting photos of each rider to create memories. It’s one of the many reasons this will be the number one off-road motorcycle tour in the United States and one of the top 10 dirt-bike tours in the world.

This massive four-story “log cabin” which will serve as our base camp. It’s more like a luxurious mini-resort with an indoor pool, hot tub, game room, chef’s kitchen, etc. It sits on over 10 acres and is able to sleep 60 people. This is an ultra high-end adventure and all rooms are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Oh yeah, there are also 16 restrooms!

I love traveling and exploring the world on my motorcycle. There’s nothing more beautiful to me than being outdoors and experiencing the landscapes up close. And of course, I always have my camera with me to capture those special, interesting, and extraordinary moments.

For me, it’s not about getting from A to B as quickly as possible. Instead, I focus on enjoying the journey itself and having unforgettable encounters with people and animals along the way. When I ride through the landscapes and listen to the stories of the locals, it feels like another home to me.

It brings me great joy to show my guests the most beautiful places and hidden gems on my tours. Happy participants and exciting encounters are my greatest motivation.

Since 1970, I have been passionate about motorcycle riding and have gained valuable experience in various countries over the years.

One particularly formative time was when I lived in South Africa for about 25 years. As a result, I speak fluent Afrikaans and English, as well as French, German, and Dutch. This allows me to welcome a wide range of guests on my tours.

Health and hygiene: The health and the well-being of our participants has always been a high priority since we started our first guided motorcycle tour back in 1976. We at Twincruiser Motorcycle Tours did not wait for a virus or any other pest like the present bed-bug outbreak in France to implement special hygiene care and procedures. It is about Quality! There is a billion of things attached to that word and not everyone understands the same definition;   The place, the transport, the management, the checklists and their controls, the choice of the staff, the products used, how people identify themselves with what they offer, the trust, etc… In today’s world, people tend to buy a discount. The higher the discount, the better! Quality is always bind to price! Price is always linked to a level of quality!

The restaurants (including their bathrooms) and each accommodation we offer with our tours, are known to us and are regularly visited and checked by us! We offer a high level of quality for various reasons.

Moscow Metro

The Moscow Metro Tour is included in most guided tours’ itineraries. Opened in 1935, under Stalin’s regime, the metro was not only meant to solve transport problems, but also was hailed as “a people’s palace”. Every station you will see during your Moscow metro tour looks like a palace room. There are bright paintings, mosaics, stained glass, bronze statues… Our Moscow metro tour includes the most impressive stations best architects and designers worked at - Ploshchad Revolutsii, Mayakovskaya, Komsomolskaya, Kievskaya, Novoslobodskaya and some others.
