We still aren’t over the incredible Coachella headline set Harry Styles gifted us this weekend – the custom Gucci sequinned jumpsuit, the Shania Twain guest appearance, our first live performance of ‘As It Was’, two WHOLE new songs, the incredible reworkings of his back catalogue – so this tour announcement could not come at a better time.

Not only will this tour be our first chance to see Harry’s second album Fine Line live in person (even if we all watched the livestreams of every Love On Tour date so far), it will also be our chance to hear all the tracks from his forthcoming third album Harry’s House. And if the three singles we’ve heard so far – ‘As It Was’, ‘Boyfriends’ and ‘Late Night Talking’ – are anything to go by, there will be equal parts dancing and crying.

The new 13-track album was recorded in multiple locations across the UK, Los Angeles, and Tokyo from 2020 to 2021. Special guests on the Australian and New Zealand dates will be UK duo Wet Leg.

Log into your Ticketmaster account and update your password if needed!

Get in early and ensure all your MyTicketmaster account details are up to date – from your password to your card details and your phone number.

Ticketmaster will regularly ask you to update your password to ensure the security of your account – you don’t want to get stuck having to change your password while the ticket timer is counting down during onsale as you can risk losing the incredible tickets you have secured.

Get to know Ticketmaster’s Smart Queue

If you aren’t familiar with  Smart Queue , it is Ticketmaster’s way of creating a clear and fair process for thousands of fans to buy tickets in a short space of time. Fans enter the virtual  Waiting Room  prior to onsale time before joining the  Smart Queue  – which acts as a ‘virtual line’, helping us protect you and your tickets in a more effective way.

The time you join the Waiting Room does not determine your place in the Smart Queue, so we recommend joining at least 10 minutes prior to the event going on sale.

When the sale begins, the Smart Queue will open and everyone in the Waiting Room is given a place in line. Those who did not join the Waiting Room will be placed at the end of the line.

  • Sign in to your Ticketmaster account at least 10 minutes before joining the Waiting Room. This will speed up your purchase later.
  • Confirm you have a valid form of payment in your account with current email and billing information. This will make checkout a breeze.
  • Resist the urge to refresh. Your page will automatically refresh when you enter the Smart Queue.
  • Keep an eye on the time! When it’s your turn, your spot will be held for 10 minutes to begin shopping.
  • Just like before, tickets are always based on availability, demand, and are not guaranteed.

Find out more about Ticketmaster’s Waiting Room and Smart Queue here

What are In Demand Tickets?

In Demand Tickets are tickets to Harry Styles: Love On Tour in some of the most sought after areas in the venue. Please Note – Ticket prices may fluctuate based on demand.

In Demand tickets are made available by artists and event organisers through Ticketmaster. They give fans fair and safe access to the most sought after areas in the venue at market-driven prices (adjusting prices according to supply and demand). In Demand tickets are ticket-only purchases, and prices are subject to change at any time.

Want a memento? Grab a collector ticket!

A collector ticket is a souvenir ticket which not only gets you into the event, it also serves as a treasured keepsake to be kept well after the festival is over.

Collector tickets are only made available for selected events and can be purchased through the normal purchase processes – be sure to select a “Collector Ticket” when choosing your ticket type.

Collector tickets can only be delivered to fans via mail, and cannot be sent as Print-at-Home or E-Tickets, or collected from outlets or the venue. Collector Tickets are not available to those without a valid Australian address.  You must provide an Australian postal address to receive Collector Tickets.

Collector tickets will be dispatched approximately one month prior to the event.

Hints and tips for improving your chances of getting Harry Styles tickets

Make sure you have a my ticketmaster account.

Get the basics covered before tickets go on sale by logging in and checking your Ticketmaster account ahead of time. If you don’t have a Ticketmaster Account then make sure you sign up in advance –  Ticketmaster.com.au .

Sign into your My Ticketmaster account ahead of time

Remember to triple check your passwords, account information, and billing information are all filled in correctly in advance, that way you’re not facing any last-minute account updates when trying to process your order.

Keep your options open with ‘Best Available’

Save time by searching “Best Available,” which scans all sections fast – it’s quicker than searching sections one at a time.

Keep an eye on the clock

There will be a time limit applied to all transactions as they’re progressed through the ticket purchasing stages. Remember to keep an eye on the timer on your screen and move through the processing pages as quickly as possible (this is even easier when you’ve completed the account set-up stage we mentioned above).

Don’t refresh your screen

Stick to one window while you’re in the  Waiting Room  and when you’re being pushed through  the Smart Queue  and always resist the urge to refresh.

Hitting the refresh button means you’ll lose your place in the queue and, as frustrating as it can get, patience is the only way to win this game. Ticketmaster is equipped with sophisticated systems that are designed to manage and process ticket purchases as quickly as possible. The queuing system that appears on your screen will place you at the front of the line as soon as possible.

Remember: there are a lot of fans

We’re expecting this to be a very popular event. When a popular event goes on sale there are hundreds, and sometimes thousands, of customers all attempting to purchase tickets at the same time. Tickets are sold as long as seats are available, and when an act is as popular as Harry Styles, sometimes they go very quickly.

Be sure to follow the above tips to ensure you have the best chance of snapping up some tickets.

It's all happening Saturday 25 March at Birrarung Marr. Fresh from playing this year's Laneway, Joji is returning Down Under for his first-ever headline tour.

Joji performing with his band on his world tour.

After heading our way for Laneway Festival earlier in 2023, Japanese Australian singer-songwriter Joji is finally giving his Aussie fans the chance to catch a glimpse of him at his own headline gigs when he returns for a run of arena shows. The viral hitmaker is making his way Down Under fresh from a US run of gigs, including bringing the Pandemonium tour to Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne on Monday, November 2o.

Joji's debut headline Australian shows have been a long time coming. After fostering a cult following on YouTube, he pivoted his talents to music in 2017, releasing three studio albums across the following six years.

music tours melbourne 2023

The entire trio of albums has spawned Top 40 hits in Australia, New Zealand and the US, and Joji is one of only a handful of artists that can claim to have multiple songs with over a billion streams on Spotify — with 'Glimpse of Us' and 'Slow Dancing in the Dark' both passing this impressive milestone.

Concertgoers can expect the heartfelt emotions of Joji's ballads alongside a sprinkling of humour, with his live shows receiving online notoriety for the performer's onstage hijinx between and during songs.

Scottish dance producer and singer Sam Gellaitry is on supporting duties alongside rapper SavageRealm, who also opened for Joji on his North American tour.

  • READ MORE: Here are all the biggest concerts and tours coming to Australia in 2023

Dubbed ‘The Root Of It All’, the short tour will begin in Sydney on Monday April 3 –performing at Mary’s Underground – and wrap up at Melbourne’s Howler the following night, Tuesday April 4. It adds to a four-date US run that he announced last month, all shows on which have since sold out.

Tickets for the pair of Australian gigs will go on sale at 10am this Friday (February 24), with a Handsome Tours pre-sale running from the same time tomorrow (February 23) – see here for info on both sales.

The 2023 NME 100 artist rose to popularity with his debut single ‘Run Away’ , which was released in December of 2021. He followed it up with 16 standalone singles in 2022 – most notably with the hit ‘Romantic Homicide’ , which peaked at Number 33 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and has since been certified Gold in the US and New Zealand (as well as Silver in the UK).

Its follow-up, ‘Here With Me’ , also did well on the charts – particularly in Switzerland, where it cracked the Top 10 and peaked at Number Seven. Last Friday, d4vd released his latest single ‘Poetic Vulgarity’ , which is expected to be part of his debut studio album to be released later this year.

d4vd’s 2023 Australian tour dates are:

APRIL Monday 3 – Warrang/Sydney, Mary’s Underground Tuesday 4 – Naarm/Melbourne, Howler

Astral People and Handsome Tours proudly present… 100 gecs

100 gecs are excited to announce their debut Australian & New Zealand headline shows in Wellington, Sydney and Melbourne , alongside their highly-anticipated appearances at Laneway Festival .

At the very apex of internet culture, they are a fusion of chiptune, ska, and emo EDM. Causing waves across the hyper-pop genre, the duo is composed of Laura Les and Dylan Brady. After quickly becoming TikTok sensations with their self released LP ‘1000 Gecs’ , their first album would continue to rack up streams, with their song ‘Money Machine’ accumulating over 83 million streams . The ambitious debut album also impressively took out VICE Magazine’s ‘Album of The Year’.

The duo went on to release a remix album in 2020, ‘1000 Gecs and The Tree of Clues’. The LP featured some massive industry names, including pop royalty Charli XCX and esteemed emo rock band Fall Out Boy. The highly acclaimed album is an unapologetic reflection on a frustrated generation of youth that glides effortlessly between genres and styles.

The energy 100 gecs brings to their live shows is unparalleled. As with their recorded music, 100 gecs live defy all logic and, especially, all rules. The one thing that can be counted on is the pure hype they’ll bring. Described by the Guardian as ‘a kind of weirdo love letter to emo and ska performed with far more reverence than one might expect’, expect the unexpected when 100 gecs take to the stage early 2023.

Their planned 2020 Australian tour, which sadly didn’t go ahead due to COVID restrictions, sold out in astonishing time – so make sure you get in early to avoid missing out!

Laufey wears a pearl hair clip, pearl earings and white eyeshadow

Time Out says

The singer known for her viral nostalgic tunes is set to bewitch fans Down Under this September with a string of big shows

The past few years have seen Icelandic-Chinese singer, composer, multi-instrumentalist and producer Laufey ascend from social media fame into the realm of major league pop artists.

Laufey, who is known for her soul-soothing vocals infused with the elegant air of eras past, draws inspiration from greats of the classical and jazz scenes. However, this is not the music your parents or grandparents listened to – despite her wonderfully warm and nostalgic sound, Laufey writes from a distinctly 21st century, 20-something point of view.

Having released her debut album Everything I Know About Love (not to be confused with the hit Dolly Alderton book of the same name) back in 2022, Laufey has risen to global fame in just a handful of years. She blessed our ears with her third album Bewitched in September 2023, which hit number one on Billboard’s Jazz Chart and scored a Grammy for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album.

Off the back of that stunning success, Laufey is bringing her Bewitched: The Goddess Tour to Australia’s East Coast this September. She’d originally planned on playing just one Melbourne show, but has now added two more thanks to popular demand. Fans will now have the chance to be enchanted by Laufey on September 6, 7 and 9 at the Palais Theatre in St Kilda. These Melbourne shows will kick off the tour, before she heads to QPAC Concert Hall in Brisbane and the Sydney Opera House.

Tickets are on sale from today, so run, don’t walk over to Ticketek to secure yours.

In the elevator backstage at the Forum Theatre in Melbourne, Australia, Crockett and his band carry their own gear. He’s not shy about doing things on his own — like releasing all 13 of his albums independently. “I’ve never been on a major label,” he says. “In fact, I just keep dodging them.”

The Warm-Up

music tours melbourne 2023

Crockett’s preshow ritual always involves his guitar: “I play acoustic as much as possible. That probably comes from my hobo and street-performer days where we would play all day in New Orleans on the corner or in New York City on the subway, or on the street in Colorado.”

Striking Figure

music tours melbourne 2023

Crockett honed his stage moves as a street performer. “It’s not easy to get people’s attention,” he says. “It’s about putting down your inhibitions.”

Off the Rack

Crockett typically has his band members dress in matching or complementary outfits. “I had to get them on that program. Otherwise you didn’t know what the hell you were gonna get,” he laughs. “You can’t be sure these guys are gonna have both boots.”

On the Rise

Cowboy music is red-hot right now, but Crockett’s been writing and recording Western-themed songs for more than a decade. “Authenticity should not be mistaken for amateur realism. Authenticity is hard-won,” he says. “I couldn’t put out ‘$10 Cowboy’ without all those records that came up before it.”

The Cooldown

music tours melbourne 2023

Backstage after a gig, Crockett typically greets friends and then retires to his bus. “I get out of my wet clothes and get the movies on the satellite,” he says. “I like to watch a Western or an old French-language film.”

Have Pen, Will Travel

Before the concert, Crockett autographs posters and copies of his albums to sell at the merch table. “I sign probably a couple hundred vinyl a night,” he says. “And I spend every dollar that comes in on the show. It’s really important to me that people leave my show — no matter what the ticket price is — like, ‘Man, I got a deal.’”

Onstage in Melbourne

Crockett was originally slated to tour Australia three times before it finally happened: The first was canceled when he had to have emergency heart surgery, while the second was nixed by the pandemic. “The third time’s a charm. I think I played five shows in a week and I didn’t see a goddamn thing,” he says. “And then we came back and did some 15 shows, and I saw a lot of the country and the Indian Ocean for the first time in my life.”

“The best thing about country music to me is the storytelling,” says Crockett. “I don’t think that’s exclusively a country thing, but I do think it’s a fundamental piece of good country music.”

Under Amber Lights

Crockett says he’s been courted by major record labels to sign a contract, but so far he’s steadfastly refused. “I’ve been up to New York several times last year, entertaining label offers,” he says. “But they just keep offering the same broke-dick deal.”

The “$10 Cowboy”

Crockett’s new album, ‘$10 Cowboy,’ is out now and includes songs like the title track, “Hard Luck & Circumstances,” and “Solitary Road.”

The Weeknd’s postponed tour of Australia is now canceled and ticket owners will be refunded.

The Canadian R&B superstar had initially scheduled an 11-date stadium tour of Australia and New Zealand, winding its way across both countries last November and December.

Eminem Announces New Album 'The Death Of Slim Shady' With Bloody Teaser

“The Weeknd ‘After Hours Til Dawn Tour’ for Australia & New Zealand is still in process of being rescheduled,” reads a statement from LN, seen by Billboard . “Whilst we continue to work through the rescheduling process with the artist, tickets for the existing 2023 tour will be cancelled with all ticket holders receiving a full refund accordingly.”

Ticket holders of the The Weeknd’s ‘After Hours Til Dawn Tour’ shows who previously held on to their tickets will be able to access a priority purchase window for the new tour in Australia and New Zealand when announced, the message reads, linking to a priority waitlist . All current ticket holders will receive an automatic refund.

The tour was originally announced last August with just four shows, visiting each of Australia’s big three east coast cities — Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane — and including a single date in Auckland, NZ.

Additional dates were added last September , boosting the itinerary to 11 across both markets.

The Weeknd’s tour is scrapped as Australia’s festivals market navigates turbulent waters. In recent weeks, the 2024 editions of Splendour in the Grass, Mona Foma, and Groovin The Moo, with soft ticket sales playing a part in each story.

The inaugural Soundcheck report, published by Creative Australia, found the climate for operating a festival was a “highly complex” one, with event organizers challenged with myriad issues, from rapidly increasing costs, changing ticket buying behavior and more.

In the U.S., he has landed seven No. 1s on the Billboard Hot 100 and four No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200.

On Australia’s ARIA Albums Chart, published last Friday, April 19 , the Weeknd’s hits collection The Highlights lifts 8-4 in its 167th week on the tally. It’s triple-platinum certified in Australia.
