Our Tipsy Tikis boats are fun for any occasion where you want a private boat experience and relaxed atmosphere with an island feel. Our cruises are great for birthdays, anniversaries, happy hour, girls / guys night out, proposals, engagement parties, bridal showers, bachelor / bachelorette parties, wedding parties, golfer outings, graduation parties, reunions, meetings, customer / employee appreciation, retirement parties and more! Plus, we offer Tiki Boat Weddings along with a minister to officiate your wedding.

Our hour-and-a-half cruises depart from the WEST OCEAN CITY HARBOR and from 2 LOCATIONS IN MIDTOWN OCEAN CITY and cruise the calm waters around Ocean City and/or Assateague Island. Cruises start at $300 for a minimum of 4 passengers (maximum of 12).

Tipsy Tikis was Terrific! Mark, the owner, was so helpful. He gave us his contact information and answered all our questions. You can order whatever you want to drink in advance through him. He gave us directions, changed our departure time, and was so kind to give us his cell number. You should eat lunch/dinner before you depart, and use the bathroom. Ginger, the bartender, met our every request and John, the captain, gave us information about the history of OC and where to eat. Bring cash so you can tip them when you are done and take an Uber because they did their job. They take up to 6 people on each trip, so I’m bringing my family back. Amazing impromptu sunset cruise! We had the most amazing time on our sunset cruise! Mark and Katie were SO attentive and you could see how much they enjoy interacting with us. The sunset was gorgeous, the drinks were generous and the conversation never stopped! All my girlfriends live near OC, so we know all the best spots to have fun. Me and my 3 friends went on the boat for about two hours and had the time of our lives! The bartender was so friendly and made the best drinks. Historic Ocean City Commander Hotel to renovate pools, guest rooms in time for summer

One of Ocean City's most beloved historic hotels has big renovations planned ahead of the upcoming summer season.

Commander Hotel & Suites , located at 1401 Atlantic Ave. on the resort town's highly trafficked Boardwalk, is getting a refresh.

The hotel, owned by the Lynch family and managed by Blue Water Development Corporation, is spending about $2 million on renovations, which are said to include major upgrades to its guest rooms as well as indoor and outdoor pools.

According to Spencer Byrd —  General Manager of Commander Hotel & Suites —  new flooring, paint, sleep sofas, tables, chairs and balcony furniture will all be installed in the guest rooms.

Outdoor pool will get big changes, including all new furniture

The hotel's outdoor pool will be getting new furniture and a new pool deck coating. The beach house and cabana, which sit adjacent to the pool, will also be receiving a fresh coat of paint.

Upgrades to the outdoor pool are scheduled for the last week of April and first week of May. The hotel renovations began in mid-February and are expected to last until the end of May.

"We hope to have everything completed by Memorial Day Weekend," Byrd said.

The hotel also recently installed new furniture in the lobby, tiling in the elevators, and carpet in the hallways.

"A refresh is always good. It's just an updated look as far as the design, color, cleanliness and beach-feel goes," Byrd said of the renovations.

The historic Eastern Shore hotel has been welcoming beachgoers since 1930.

Patrick our captain and knowledgeable guide mentioned it was a five percent chance that the dolphins are seen. Great tour of the bay areas and the island. Pointed out numerous species of birds we saw two bald eagles on our trip along with numerous other birds. On the shore of Assateague Island we were fortunate to see a herd of the ponies and two foals! Learned of many landmarks and saw sport fishing and commercial fishing marinas. It was a fabulous experience for our multigenerational family, after coming to the O.C. area for many years so glad we took advantage of this tour.
