Kick ass show. 10/10 would get punched in the face again to see them. (And norma jean) better than I expected. Disappointed that I've waited all this time to finally go to one of their shows. If you have the opportunity, go. If you do not have the opportunity, still go.

This was my first time seeing The Devil Wears Prada after wanting to go to a show for awhile. This show exceeded my expectations, they're just as good live as if you were going to just listen to there music on your phone. Im so happy I had a opportunity to go to their show they always impress me with every new album/EP they write. If you have an opportunity to go to one of their shows you should definitely take it!

The Devil Wears Prada - Mike Hranica [vocals], Jeremy DePoyster [vocals, guitar], Mason Nagy [bass], Kyle Sipress [guitar], Jonathan Gering [keys, synthesizers], and Giuseppe Capolupo [drums] - have announced their Summer 2022 headline tour. The band will hit the road on August 4 in Milwaukee and the trek runs through September 10 in Columbia, South Carolina.

Stray From the Path and Dying Wish will also appear. All dates are below. Get tickets here .

The Devil Wears Prada will perform the Zombie EP and the ZII EP in full, along with a selection of greatest hits, making each show a special night for TDWP fans both new and old!

"With live music back in full swing, we knew we had to come out this summer with a bang," says DePoyster. "Playing both Zombie EPs front-to-back was a no-brainer, and we can't wait to bring the heavy every night. We're also tossing in some of our oldest and newest favorites as well, so do not miss this undead summer party. It's going to be nuts."

"It's going to be amazing playing through ZII - the songs were born during lockdown, so we've yet to play most of these tunes live," shares Hranica. "The original Zombie EP is a proud and fundamental component to our band, combined with support from Stray and Dying Wish, is all going to make for an excellent tour, and there'll be even more news to come! I can confidently say this will be a summer run to remember."

The Devil Wears Prada have positioned themselves for meaningful reinvention. Following their 2005 emergence, they served up 2009's seminal With Roots Above and Branches Below. In its wake, the group achieved two back-to-back Top 10 entries on the Billboard Top 200 with the Zombie EP [2010], and Dead Throne [2011].

The group kept up a prolific pace on 8:18 [2013], Space EP [2015], and Transit Blues [2016] and The Act [2019]. This output of new music garnered widespread acclaim from Kerrang!, Revolver, Rock Sound, New Noise, and Alternative Press who proclaimed it "an impressive step forward."

In addition to selling out countless headline shows, the musicians toured with everyone from Slipknot to Slayer. Not to mention, their total stream tally impressively clocking over 200 million in 2022.

THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA released the deluxe edition of its eighth album, "Color Decay" , on May 5 via Solid State . The expanded version is available digitally and on vinyl. It included 10 additional tracks — a treasure trove that features two new songs, acoustic versions of "Color Decay" favorites, live renditions, and remixes.

THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA have been consistently delivering since forming in 2005. Fans voted 2009's seminal "With Roots Above And Branches Below" one of the "5 Greatest Metalcore Albums" in a Revolver poll, with the magazine christening it "a true metalcore landmark." The group has notched six consecutive Top 5 debuts on the Billboard Top Hard Rock Albums chart, including "Dead Throne" (2011), "8:18" (2013), "Space" EP (2015), "Transit Blues" (2016), "The Act" (2019) and "ZII" EP (2021). The latter served as a sequel to one of their most beloved projects — 2010's "Zombie" EP. In the wake of the EP, the group exceeded a quarter of a billion cumulative streams and views. During 2021, the musicians decamped to remote hideaways together in Wisconsin and Desert Hot Springs, California. This time around, keyboardist Jonathan Gering took the reins as producer, collaborating closely to assemble a rich sonic architecture for what would become "Color Decay" .

FIT FOR A KING released its latest album, "The Hell We Create" , in October 2022 via Solid State Records .

In 2011, FIT FOR A KING emerged out of Texas with a searing signature style rooted in metal and hardcore and uplifted by hypnotic hooks. Following the breakout LP "Creation/Destruction" (2013),they earned four consecutive Top 5 debuts on both the Billboard Top Christian Albums chart and the Top Hard Rock Albums chart with "Slave To Nothing" (2014), "Deathgrip" (2016), "Dark Skies" (2018) and "The Path" (2020). The latter marked their first No. 1 on the Top Christian Albums chart and Top 10 on the Billboard Top Album Sales chart. Plus, the band collaborated with fellow heavy-hitters such as AUGUST BURNS RED and WE CAME AS ROMANS . They've generated nearly 312 million streams. In the end, FIT FOR A KING delivers an important message on the record.

"I want to raise self-awareness," vocalist Ryan Kirby states. "It's not just important to fight for ourselves, but we're fighting for others. You can reach out for help even if you're scared. I know I was. I hope we can all reflect on not only what we put ourselves through, but what we put others through."

Who is Discover Florida Tours?

Guide/Owner David Anderson grew up at the Jungle Prada Site.  He represents the 3rd generation of the Anderson family to steward the mound, and the 4th generation in St. Petersburg.  David’s great-grandfather, Theodore Anderson, built houses and was friends with St. Pete pioneers like John A. Bethel (1834-1915) who lived near Big Bayou and wrote the first history of Pinellas County. Theodore’s son was Harold C. “Happy” Anderson.  Happy, as he was called, grew up around the construction business.  As a boy he used to ride the trolley to Jungle Prada and was even present to witness the day that archaeologists found a 16th century Spanish sword hilt at the site (later stolen).  Happy was friendly with Walter P. Fuller, who owned the whole Jungle neighborhood at the time and who wrote the fabulous history book “St. Petersburg and its People.”  In 1948, Happy started Anderson Lumber Company, which is still a family business operated by David’s cousin Fred.

In 1940, Happy Anderson purchased a 3-acre lot next to Jungle Prada to protect the last remaining large Tocobaga mound along Boca Ciega Bay.  Other similar mounds in the area had already been razed and used as road fill by developers.  Happy wanted to make sure that this historically significant landmark did not suffer the same fate.  He believed that our history belongs to all of us and that his role was to serve as a caretaker.  Happy, along with his wife Frances Marshall Anderson, dedicated the rest of their lives to conserving the mound and making it available for public visitation.  Frances was also an accomplished horticulturalist and planted a Florida-friendly seaside garden on the lower part of the property.  They built a home at the site in 1953, and together raised four children there. In 1990, Erik Anderson, one of Happy and Frances’s four children, moved back with his own young family to the Jungle Prada home in which he grew up.  Erik took over caretaker duties from his father, and in 2002 Erik and his wife Doris started Sacred Lands Preservation, a 501c3 non-profit, to formalize their mission of stewarding the mound and involving the public. Erik’s son David Anderson also grew up at the Jungle Prada Site during the 1990s.  He graduated from the University of Florida, eventually moving to Ft. Myers and working as a Site Historian and Garden Specialist at the Edison and Ford Winter Estates.  He was later a Pinellas County park ranger at Pinewood Cultural Center.  In 2017 David started Discover Florida Tours to offer a guided history tour at the property where he was raised.

Morning Hunt by Theodore Morris

The tocobaga people.

The Tocobaga were a political nation that dominated the greater Tampa Bay area from 500 – 1000 years ago.  Their coastal villages were characterized by large mounds of earth and shell that kept their homes and temples safe from heavy rains and floods.  The Jungle Prada Site Complex features one of the best-preserved Indian mounds in Florida, as well as part of the ancient village plaza.  The private “Anderson Mound” measures apporximately 900′ feet long, 300′ feet wide, and rises nearly 25′ above sea level; and there are several other mounds in the area.  On the Jungle Prada Tour you’ll learn lots more about the lives of the Tocobaga people.  We’ll discuss their diet, explain some of their technology, talk about why they built mounds, and lots more!  Check out the informational video we made about the Tocobaga, then come for a visit!  The Anderson Mound is only available by guided tour.

The Narvaez Expedition

In the year 1526, veteran conquistador Pánfilo de Narváez was made the miltary governor for life of Florida.  His 1528 expedition to conquer and colonize the land ended in tragedy and death when he got lost from his ships.  Narváez was forced to build rafts in a desperate attempt to transport his sick and wounded men to Spanish colonies in Mexico.  Only four survived to tell the tale.  The Jungle Prada Site is thought to be the landing site of the ill-fated expedition, as well as the location of the first Catholic Mass in Florida (37 years before St. Augustine)!  On the tour you’ll learn the story of Álvar Núñez Cabeza de Vaca and the other three survivors including Estevanico, the first African explorer of North America.  You can even purchase the 1542 book that Cabeza de Vaca wrote detailing his experience.

Guided Tours

We offer historian-led guided tours of the Jungle Prada Site five days a week.  The tour lasts 75-90 minutes, and is packed with tons of Florida history, ecology, and peacocks!  On the tour you’ll learn about the Tocobaga Indians, Spanish explorers, early American settlers, local hurricane history, modern development of the gulf beaches, locations of other Tocobaga mounds, useful native plants, and much more!  We encourage curiosity so be sure to bring lots of questions!  The private property where the tour takes place features a seaside Florida-friendly garden with dozens of free-roaming peacocks.  We also have a small museum in a converted greenhouse on-site.  Advance registration is required.

With a live tour guide in Spanish, English, French, Italian, Russian, and Portuguese, there are a wide variety of options so you’ll be able to understand in a language you’re comfortable with.

Your guide will tell you all about these works, and why they became so well-known. Not only that, but they’ll place a special focus on the local art based on the former Spanish Royal Collection. You’ll get the chance to see “The Third of May 1808” which was actually finished in 1814.

The piece of art commemorates what happened around the Madrid uprising against the French occupying forces the day before.  It also comes with a companion piece which is similar, called “The Second of May 1808”. Painted by Goya, the emotion and striking colors are sure to resonate with you.

Another notable piece of work is Velazquez’ “Las Meninas” which makes you question what we consider “real” and illusion. Meaning “The Maids of Honor”, the painting revolves around La Infanta Margarita, who is tended by two of the Queen’s meninas ” Maria Agustina Sarmiento and Isabel de Velasco. Velazquez himself even makes an appearance, displaying himself painting!

While meals and drinks are not included, you do get to benefit from a local official art historian guide to lead you around the museum the best way possible.

Madrid: Prado & Reina Sofia Museum Skip-the-Line Guided Tour

With this tour, we’re changing things up. Instead of just going to the Prado, you’ll be taking a Prado & Reina Sofia Museum. This Skip-the-Line Guided Tour will make sure you make the most of the almost 6 hours you’ll spend exploring both the Prado Museum and the Reina Sofia Museum.

El Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofia or “The Queen Sofia” Museum is Spain’s national museum of 20 th -century art from artists like Salvador Dali, Joan Miro, Picasso, Juan Gris, and many more. As you may be able to deduce from the name, it was named for their Queen Sofia and is currently one of the most visited museums in the country.

You’ll start out at the Prado, and get to see all of the most famous pieces such as “Las Meninas”, “The Garden of Earthly Delights”, “The Annunciation” by Fra Angelico, “David and Goliath” by Caravaggio, and many more. You’ll spend 2.5 hours here, hearing all kinds of captivating stories behind the artists and their creations.

Afterward, you’ll have a well-deserved lunch break and then head over to the Reina Sofia where you’ll also spend 2.5 hours. This is where you’ll enter the more contemporary art world. You’ll get to see the infamous “Guernica” by Picasso.

The anti-war painting depicts the bombing of the city by the German Luftwaffe during World War II that left a third of its population dead or wounded. Not only that, you’ll see works like Joan Miro’s “The Man with a Pipe”, Dali’s “Face of the Great Masturbator”, and others featuring various artistic movements.

6. Best Guided Tour: Madrid: Prado Museum 3-Hour Private Tour

Madrid: Prado Museum 3-Hour Private Tour

  • Duration: 3 hours
  • Departure Time: Variety availabe
  • Includes:   Entrance fees, l ocal art historian guide

While the vast majority of the Prado tours tend to be less than 2 hours, this next tour is a little bit longer to offer you more time to see all of these incredible pieces of art. The Prado Museum 3-Hour Private Tour is the perfect amount of time for most people to see what they want to while listening to explanations about the artists and their works.

You can choose to meet your guide in front of the Goya statue near the museum entrance, or at the lobby/entrance of your hotel. If you choose the latter, your guide will offer a brief introduction to Madrid as you head together to the museum.

This is a great way to start off the experience, and we found the guides to be very enthusiastic and friendly. In fact, they’re so entertaining that you may even be able to get away with bringing small children on the tour without boring them!

With many tours, you may find a conversation to be one-sided where the tour guide is the only one who talks. However, with this private tour, you’ll find that it ends up being an equal give and take. The guides are educational without being overwhelming and are more than happy to answer any of your inquiries.

On the tour, you’ll get to see some of the insanely detailed anatomical drawings from Ribera or the group of 14 paintings by Goya deemed Las Pinturas Negras .

These were the result of Goya surviving two very serious illnesses, the Napoleonic Wars, the Spanish government causing chaos for its people, among so many other things. Originally painted as murals on the walls of his home, they actually were meant to remain private.

7. Best Family Tour: Madrid: Prado Museum Small Group Guided Tour

Madrid: Prado Museum Small Group Guided Tour

  • Departure Time: 4:15 PM
  • Includes:   Entrance to the Prado Museum,  English or Spanish-speaking guide (depending on the option selected)

If you are a fan of the quicker tours or are just trying to see as much of Madrid as possible, then you’ll appreciate this straight-to-the-point Prado Museum Small Group Guided Tour. Get to know all about the artists and their art pieces with a professional, experienced guide. This museum is housed in a breathtaking, 18 th -century building which opened over 200 years ago.

During this time, the queen of Spain has seen the Louvre in Paris, which is arguably the most famous art museum in the world. She was unsurprisingly impressed, and wanted a massive art collection for Spain to show off, as well. The result is innumerable pieces of incredible, beautiful, unique pieces of art. They’ve since added extensions to offer even more art to be explored.

Just like with the others, you’ll see work by El Bosco, Velazquez, El Greco, Goya, and many more. These are some of the most respected artists in Europe, and throughout the world.

Instead of just going through the museum yourself, your guide will tell you more about the people behind the paintings and sculptures, along with the time at which they were created, and what was going on in the world at that time.

Best Tours of Prado Museum

Getting There

Adolfo Suarez Madrid-Barajas is the main airport of Madrid, which is just 20 minutes or so from the city center or el centro . With 4 different terminals, it comes with quite a bit of shopping and other facilities. You can easily score a flight directly to Madrid from the vast majority of airports around the US as most of the major airlines serve this route.

The main carriers are Iberia , American Airlines, and Delta Airlines. In fact, if you’re flying from NYC or O’Hare in Chicago, you can expect direct flights in the off-season to cost you around 500 bucks!

Getting Around

The metro fares depend on which neighborhood you’re in, however, they’ll pretty consistently range from 1.50 to 2 euros (approx. $1.75 to $2.30). If you plan on using it frequently throughout your visit, you can also opt for a Tourist Card. These are either 1-day, 2, 3, 4, 5, or 7-day quantities. We did the math, and they almost always are more budget-friendly. Just remember that it is open from 6am to 1:30am.

Bus – Available from 6am to 11:30pm, Monday through Friday, and 7am to 11pm on the weekends, the bus also covers a good amount of the city. However, there are also night buses that start at 11:30pm and take over into the late hours! This is perfect if you want to catch a rave, a late-night drink and dinner, or simply want to see the city from a different view.

Taxi – Taxis are always an option, and hailing them off the street is pretty simple. Throughout various tourist destinations, you’ll also often see them lining up just waiting for customers. Remember, that the ones who have lit up green lights on the roofs are those that are available. Try to ride only with the city’s official cabs, which are white with a red diagonal stripe on the sides, along with Madrid’s emblem.

Alternatively, you can use a ride-sharing app. Uber does operate in the city, so this is an option.

Tip: Always make sure that the taximeter is on as soon as your trip starts! Some drivers will keep it off to try and scam some extra cash from you. If your driver doesn’t speak English, you can ask them to turn it on like this: “Disculpe, se puede prender el meter, por favor?”.

Where to Stay

Madrid consists of many different neighborhoods, with quite a few being very attractive for tourists. No matter what your budget is, you’ll realistically find somewhere that works for you.

  • For the luxe and plush, opt for Salamanca . In fact, the neighborhood’s Calle de Serrano is often compared to New York City’s Upper East Side, and referred to as “The Golden Mile”.
  • If you’re on a budget, head to Lavapies or Chueca . Both areas are very affordable, and are easy to navigate by foot.
  • If you’re traveling with children/the entire family, check out Barrio de Las Letras , or Sol-Gran Via . Sol-Gran Via is the area located between Puerta del Sol and Gran Via. This is the center of Madrid’s “cultural spots”. It features all kinds of theaters, boutiques, along with many very important buildings and unique architecture.
  • If you’re planning on going out to bars, clubs, and other nightlife scenes, check out Chueca , or La Latina . Chueca is a lively area full of people from all walks of life, all ages, and interests. The cafes and masterly-crafted cocktails here are incredible. La Latina is also very high-energy, and you’ll find many little markets, tapas bars, and “block parties”.
  • In fact tapas are so popular, there are tapas walking tours in Madrid!
  • If you’re top priority in Madrid is to try the most delicious food possible, you can stay anywhere in El Centro . This is actually one of the safest, most pedestrian-friendly neighborhoods in the city. Not to mention, the elaborate architecture, palaces, etc. are some of the most impressive in the entire country.

Restaurants and Eating Out

As you can imagine, Madrid has some of the best food in the world. Let’s go ahead and look at some of the city’s top restaurants and eateries.

Saddle – Saddle is absolutely an artistic experience. It’s high-class, very elegant, yet intimate rather than stuffy. By combining modern-day with classic techniques, you’ll find this place to be refined yet varied. All on one floor, you’ll find private rooms and an expansive dining room with beautiful views.

Cruz Blanca de Vallecas – Consistently award-winning, Cruz Blanca de Vallecas offers Spanish food, placing tradition at the forefront of the operation. With international standards, this restaurant es made to make you feel like you’re coming home. Just make sure you book far in advance, as it can be booked up to 3 months at times!

Casa Benigna – If you go to Spain, you have to try paella. It’s just an unspoken rule. For excellent paella, make sure you head to Casa Benigna . The rice-based dish features arroz negro, squid ink, beans, meat, and more.

El Cisne Azul – Located in Chueca, El Cisne Azul is known for their wild mushrooms, with dishes that incorporate them like grilled boletus with foie gras and mushroom carpaccio. If you’re not a fan of mushrooms, you’re in the clear, as they also offer grilled meats and other dishes.

El Meson del Boqueron – El Meson del Boqueron offers basically the best callos a la madrileña we’ve had. With tripe, morcilla, and chorizo, it’s definitely packed with flavor and is perfect for any kind of weather. The restaurant itself is very captivating, with a kind of gothic flair that makes it look like it’s been around for hundreds of years.

Nightlife and Entertainment

Nightlife in Madrid is booming, and you can find everything from a flamenco club to massive electronic music raves.

Fabrik – If you’re looking for said rave, head to Fabrik. This two-floor club has a whopping 7,000-person capacity and a beautiful sound system to accommodate their world-famous DJs. Kapital is located in El Centro, and is legendary throughout all of Europe. The enormous club features 7 floors – each with a different theme. Goya Social Club is a nice alternative if you aren’t ready for 7 floors of partying. It has a capacity of just 200 people, though the more intimate environment is perfect for its house, deep house, tech house, and sometimes techno artists.

Get out of your comfort zone and into a tablao , or flamenco bar. Here, you can see or even participate in dancing flamenco while enjoying some delicious eats and fine drinks. Corral de la Moreria is our top pick, and is one of the oldest tablaos around. Torres Bermejas is another hot choice, with their traditional cuisine and famous flamenco.

For innovative cocktails, look no further than Salmon Guru . It has an interesting name, but even more interesting drinks. The neon décor is very flashy and fun for taking photos. Diego Cabrera owns this one along with Viva Madrid : another one of our favorites. Viva Madrid has an almost opposite take on Salmon Guru, being a historic tavern with classic cocktails. Varsovia Cocktail & Bar is charming, and one of the top picks for a good vermouth and tapas.

No matter where you go in Madrid, you’ll likely be able to find many pretty, outdoor bars and cafes, karaoke bars, and live music.

While many people may think that Madrid is constantly warm, this is not the case at all. Their summers are typically pretty short, hot (around 99 degrees Fahrenheit), and dry. This is great if you aren’t a fan of humidity. However, the wintertime can get very cold and cloudy, dipping down to 23 degrees Fahrenheit at times! Try visiting from late June to late August for the best weather – just remember that most other European countries also have vacation from school at this time and things can get crowded.

Attractions

If you enjoy Mother Nature and serene little getaways, you’ll love Buen Retiro Park and the Crystal Palace. El Parque del Retiro is filled with lush flora, and is preened and maintained wonderfully. Covering over 140 hectares, it will originally made for the Count Duke of Olivares back in the 17 th century! El Palacio de Cristal consists of cast iron and glass, and sits in front of a flowing fountain and reflecting pool. Parques and fountains are plentiful in Madrid however, so you can really take your pick.

Aside from the Prado, Madrid has many other architectural stunners like the Royal Palace and Gardens. Drawing many similarities to Paris Versailles, this palace is still used as the official residence of the king of Spain. Here, you can also catch some artwork by Velazquez, Goya, El Greco, and the rest of the crew. However, all kinds of palaces and interesting architecture covers Madrid.

If you’re a history buff, you have to head over to Puerta del Sol, which is where the old city gate stood. It’s been the center of many important events throughout history, such as the Spanish resistance to Napoleon back in the early 1800’s, and in 1931 when the Second Republic was proclaimed! Today, it has all kinds of fun shops and trendy cafes. If you enjoy wine, be sure to do a wine tasting tour of the Madrid wineries .

Once you arrive to your destination, try and walk as much as you can (within reason). Obviously, this is counting on your area being safe to walk around, which all of the neighborhoods we’ve mentioned are. This is the best way to get a feel for the city, and you can see everything up close. Plus, if you ever get tired, Madrid has an excellent public transportation system to help you out.

Try to at least learn Spanish basics. There are tons of great channels on YouTube, and Duolingo is a handy little app to have. If you practice just a few weeks before you go, you should at least be able to speak what’s required.

Make sure to check the restaurants’ meal times, as Spanish meal times are quite a bit different from ours. Lunch usually starts around 2pm, and dinner is served around 9, which is pretty late by most of our standards.

Visit other cities in Italy, Venice and Florence are good choices. Venice is of course famous for its canals and gondola rides , and of course the spectacular St Mark’s Basilica . Florence is the gateway to the Tuscany area along with having its famous museums. They are both cities that should not be missed!

Shakira raises her hand high while singing.

The “She Wolf” is coming out of her cage.

Midway through the 14-concert run, the three-time Grammy winner is scheduled to stop in at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on Thursday, Dec. 5.

At all shows, fans can expect to hear cuts from the Colombian icon’s recently released album that shares a name with the tour.

For those that can’t wait to get their hands on tickets, they can be secured as soon as today.

Although inventory isn’t available on Ticketmaster until Monday, April 22, fans who want to ensure they have tickets ahead of time can purchase on sites like Vivid Seats before tickets are officially on sale.

Vivid Seats is a secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be higher or lower than face value, depending on demand.

A complete calendar including all tour dates, venues and links to buy tickets can be found below.

Shakira new music

On March 22, Shakira released her 12th studio album “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran.”

Comprised of 17 tracks featuring big-name collaborators like Cardi B, Bizarrap, Grupo Frontera, Rauw Alejandro and Ozuna among others, the 47-year-old songstress sticks to español this time around. However, whether or not you speak Spanish is besides the point; Shakira’s music this time around is so catchy, you won’t mind looking up what they lyrics mean on Google Translate.

Highlights include the dance floor ready hit “Shakira: Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53,” the infectious mariachi inspired “El Jefe” with Fuerza Regida and the icy “TQG” featuring Karol G.

While the whole album slaps, we’d be remiss if we didn’t shout our favorite track: the disco-flavored “Cohete.” We can’t stop listening.

Want to check it out for yourself? You can find “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran” here .

Shakira at Coachella 2024

Prior to announcing the tour, Shakira surprised the crowd at at Coachella on Friday, April 12 when she performed “La Fuerte” and “BZRP Music Sessions, Vol. 53” alongside Bizzarap.

Caitlin Clark's Boyfriend, Connor McCaffery, Has Flirty Reaction to Her WNBA Draft Outfit — See What He Said!

Clark wore a full Prada fit, marking the first time the fashion house dressed an athlete for the WNBA (or NBA!) draft

Kees Kees/NBAE via Getty; Instagram/connor_m30

Caitlin Clark had a very big WNBA draft night on April 15.

Not only was the Iowa basketball player the No. 1 overall pick — going to the Indiana Fever — but she was dressed head-to-toe in Prada . Of course she had to be stylish for her big moment! And her boyfriend, Connor McCaffery, was more than pleased with her outfit, too.

After Clark stepped out in her designer duds — a double white satin shirt and skirt with an embroidered rhinestone mesh top — a fan on X (formerly known as Twitter), asked McCaffery for his opinion on his girlfriend's look.

He actually was too stunned to speak and responded with only emojis, including an "astonished face" and "drooling face."

Clark, 22, responded to McCaffrey, an Iowa alum, with an emoji of her own: the watery eyes in thank-you because it's all just so sweet! She also shared a few photobooth snapshots of the two of them on her Instagram Stories after the draft festivities, calling him her "fav person in the world."

"This is a dream, this is something I wrote down on a piece of paper when I was in, like, second grade. Get a basketball scholarship. Play in the WNBA. This is something I've always wanted to do," Clark, who has shattered records during her tenure at Iowa, said while doing interviews with the  Associated Press  and  Today  ahead of the draft.

After her name was called (first of the night!), Clark took the stage and was given her Indiana jersey with a #1, as seen in  a video  shared on the WNBA’s X account.

The Fever shared a video on Instagram not long after, welcoming Clark to the team — and "Basketball Country."

Masters 2024 controversy as Jon Rahm reveals former PGA Tour friend ‘did not even look at me’ at Augusta

  • Tony Robertson , Digital Sports Reporter

JON RAHM has revealed his return to The Masters was a frosty one, with one former colleague "not even looking" at him.

Rahm , 29, claimed the green jacket in 2023 but defected to LIV Golf, a Saudi Arabia-backed tour rival of the PGA, in a megabucks deal in December last year said to be worth £450million over four years.

Jon Rahm has revealed he had a frosty welcome to The Masters after his LIV Golf defection

And the move seems to have fractured some relationships with old tour mates.

When asked about the welcome he was receiving in Augusta in his first time back since the controversial transfer, he admitted their were mixed reactions.

He asked whether he got a warm reception, he told Golf Channel Latin America: "Some did. I expected it.

"And then, there was someone else who I expected to be a little tougher... and one of them hugged me.

"I think that, among all the relationships I have, it has been everything that I expected. My friends are still my friends.

"And then someone, with whom I was very cordial and had a positive relationship, has not even looked at me.

"If someone changes their opinion of me, it is more their problem than mine. I am not worried.

"I knew it was going to happen. I didn't know who."

Rahm finished with a score of nine-over-par to see him finish down in joint 45th - the Spaniard's worst ever finish at the Augusta National.

He had been critical of the organisation before joining and revealed how he had contrasting reactions from Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy , with the latter throwing his support behind him.

However, Rahm has continued to speak his mind and called on LIV bosses to change the tour from it's 52-hole format to a more traditional 72-hole one.

This year the green jacket was claimed by Scottie Scheffler , who shot 11-under-par to claim the crown for the second time.

Inside Rahm's controversial LIV Golf defection

JON Rahm defected from the PGA Tour to Liv Golf in December 2023

Rahm's move saw him land a megabucks contract reportedly worth £450million over the four years.

SunSport spoke to a negotiator of the deal, who said the process of getting the 29 year-old to sign on the dotted line was “very intense” and that he needed plenty of time to mull the numbers over with his family.

Yet once everything was presented to Rahm and his advisors, there was only going to be one answer.

As well as his somewhat frosty welcome to The Masters, Rahm has said he got differing reactions from Rory McIlroy and Tiger Woods, with McIlroy throwing his support for Rahm.

Rahm was critical of the Saudi-backed tour before joining, but has continued to speak his mind on it.

Before The Masters he called on the LIV tour to change it's format to a more traditional 72-hole one, rather than the 52 holes the tour currently shoots.

That’s not (Taylor’s Version).

Taylor Swift hilariously reacted to James Kennedy remixing her hit song “Cruel Summer” during his Neon Carnival afterparty set at Coachella on Saturday.

The pop star, 34, was caught “jamming out” to her own tune like “every Swiftie” in a TikTok video — only to act “stunned” when she noticed a shift in the song.

Taylor Swift

Swift promptly stopped singing before glancing sharply over her shoulder.

“The way she looks at us like Jim in ‘The Office,'” one social media user joked of Swift’s exaggerated response.

A second fan claimed, “It’s giving if I wanted it that way I would have made it that way.”
