TD Garden announces Tim McGraw concert tour coming in May

One of country music’s biggest stars is coming to Boston next year.

Tim McGraw’s Standing Room Only Tour 2024 with special guest Carly Pearce is coming to the TD Garden on May 10.

Tickets will go on sale to the general public Friday at 10 a.m.

Standing Room Only is McGraw’s 16th solo studio album and was released on August 25.

McGraw is a 3-time Grammy winner and has also starred in numerous TV shows and movies, including “The Blind Side” and “Friday Night Lights.”

TIM MCGRAW ANNOUNCES OPENING ACTS FOR 2024 STANDING ROOM ONLY TOUR

January 29, 2024 (Nashville, TN)  – Three-time Grammy® Award winning superstar  Tim McGraw  has kicked off 2024 with the release of his brand new single  “One Bad Habit”  from his EP  Poet’s Resumé ,  available now  on Big Machine Records and the announcement of multiple opening acts for his highly anticipated  Standing Room Only  Tour. “One Bad Habit” officially impacted Country radio last week with more than 100 reporting stations and follows the massive success of McGraw’s last single  “Standing Room Only”  which became McGraw’s 47th No. 1 hit last fall. Unflinchingly honest and heartfelt,  “One Bad Habit”  was written by Marc Beeson, Aaron Eshuis and Tony Lane.  Poet’s Resumé  was produced by McGraw & his longtime producing partner Byron Gallimore and was released ahead of the holiday season last year as McGraw’s way of saying thank you to his fans. Standing Room Only was released August 25, 2023 via Big Machine Records. The album’s title track, “ Standing Room Only ,” is currently top 10 at Country Radio and climbing the charts, and marks his 92nd career chart entry. McGraw celebrated the release of the new album with true standing room only performances of new songs on Good Morning America ’s 2023 Summer Concert Series from New York City’s Central Park. The iconic country superstar Tim McGraw graced the stage of the Xcel Energy Center in Saint Paul, Minnesota on April 21, 2024, captivating a sold-out audience. The evening kicked off with stellar performances by Randall King and Carly Pearce , setting the stage on fire and priming the crowd for the main event.

Tim McGraw 's stage setup was nothing short of spectacular, featuring a vast backdrop screen adorned with dynamic projections, with his band positioned prominently in front. Adding to the visual feast, a lengthy runway extended into the heart of the audience, ensuring an immersive experience. He even brought a Naz Reid flag on stage. The stage came alive with dazzling lighting effects, including lasers and strobes, amplifying the electrifying atmosphere of the concert.

Launching into his set with the energetic anthem "Truck Yeah," amidst a sea of cowboy hats, flannel shirts, and boots, Tim instantly ignited the crowd's fervor. Clad in a sleek ensemble of a black cowboy hat, shirt, skinny jeans, and boots, he effortlessly delivered hit after hit. From his soulful rendition of Elton John 's "Tiny Dancer" to the unexpected but crowd-pleasing cover of Nelly's "Over and Over," Tim showcased his versatility and artistry.
