The City of Paris was one of San Francisco’s most important department stores from 1850-1976, In 1980 the store was demolished to build the current Neiman Marcus however, the original rotunda and glass dome were preserved and incorporated into the design listing it as a California Historical Landmark.

It is the fifth most visited park in the United States after Central Park in New York City.The “Janis Joplin Tree” is a favorite site for many tourists and locals. The Queen Anne Style Victorian is known for its 160 rooms and bizarre phenomena.
