Beyoncé Returns To The Global Stage For Renaissance World Tour

Following the wildly successful release of BEYONCÉ’s seventh studio album,  RENAISSANCE , the global superstar has announced RENAISSANCE WORLD TOUR  today, her first solo tour in over six years. The North American leg of the tour is leveraging Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan technology to ensure more tickets get into the hands of concertgoers. Fans can register now   HERE . Ticketing will begin Monday, February 6, 2023, starting with an exclusive presale to BeyHive members.

The 2023 tour, produced by Parkwood Entertainment, and promoted by Live Nation, kicks off on May 10, 2023, at Friends Arena in Stockholm, SE, making stops throughout Europe in Cardiff, Edinburgh, Sunderland, Paris, London, Marseille, Amsterdam, Warsaw and more. The tour then continues across North America with shows in Toronto, Chicago, East Rutherford, Atlanta, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Houston and more.

RENAISSANCE WORLD TOUR  will also visit Brussels, Barcelona, Cologne, Frankfurt, Hamburg, and more in Europe in May & June. Additional North American cities include Boston, Charlotte, Dallas, Detroit, Kansas City, Louisville, Miami, Minneapolis, Nashville, New Orleans, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, San Francisco, St. Louis, Tampa, Vancouver and more.

As with previous tours, Beyoncé will make her mark offstage, too, with BeyGOOD, the initiative she founded in 2013 to support people and programs around the world.  BeyGOOD will continue its legacy of philanthropy, building out this focus on economic equity by supporting organizations that serve marginalized and underserved communities with access to scholarships, opportunities for internships that lead to job placement, and resources to support entrepreneurship.

In various cities throughout the tour, BeyGOOD will support entrepreneurs through Black Parade Route luncheons, celebrating small business owners, with grant opportunities being awarded and a foray of services with global partners to promote business sustainability. One thousand small businesses will be supported with a commitment totaling one million dollars.

BeyGOOD will also support students through scholarship funds that will be given to colleges and universities in ten different cities along the tour. Each school will be given one hundred thousand dollars and will select the student recipients. BeyGOOD’s total scholarship commitment during RENAISSANCE WORLD TOUR will be one million dollars.

Working with Beyoncé and the BeyGOOD Foundation, Citi and Verizon will purchase 100 tickets combined in each market across the U.S. touring leg for distribution to local community initiatives.

Bey unveiled the news with a simple Instagram post: “RENAISSANCE WORLD TOUR 2023.” She did not immediately provide more information, but more is obviously coming.

Where can you get tickets?

Tickets for the North American leg of the tour will be available through Ticketmaster's Verified Fan program. Tickets will go on sale Monday, Feb 6, with an exclusive presale to BeyHive members, according to a Live Nation press release.

Verified Fan registration is now open. Once you register, you'll be placed in a lottery system that determines which fans get invited to purchase tickets. Registration alone doesn't guarantee tickets. If you're selected, you'll get an access code the day before tickets go on sale. Everyone else will be placed on a waitlist. According to Live Nation, this process is intended to help Ticketmaster weed out the resellers and verify your account so that actual fans get priority to buy tickets.

Will Beyoncé be using Ticketmaster like Taylor Swift to sell tickets?

Yes, but given what happened with Taylor Swift's Eras tour (and the fact it led to Congressional hearings about Ticketmaster ’s practices), it seems very likely both Beyoncé and Ticketmaster would want to avoid repeating that mess. That most likely explains the usage of the Verified Fan system.

Where will Beyoncé be playing?

The Renaissance World Tour will hit 40 cities in North America and across Europe. Stops include Paris, London, Amsterdam, Toronto, Chicago, East Rutherford, Atlanta, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Houston, and many more.

What has Beyoncé said about the Renaissance World Tour?

She just announced it was happening with a post on February 1. Her website didn't immediately contain any more details. But during the Wearable Art Gala in October 2022, she appeared to confirm it would start this summer, as a backstage tour with her mother Tina Lawson was up for auction at the event.

Will Beyoncé be performing at the Grammys (on February 5) and sharing more tour details there?

Not clear yet, but she is the most nominated artist at the ceremony . On January 21, Variety reported that “ talks with show producers are ongoing for a possible onstage appearance ” by Beyoncé.

What can we expect from the tour on stage?

Beyoncé hasn't shared that yet either, but given the artistry she put into her recent Dubai show , it's fair to say we can expect no less than excellence, elaborate costumes, and an incredible experience.

Another Ticketmaster war is on the horizon as the BeyHive prepares for battle. After weeks of speculation, Beyoncé has officially confirmed a world tour in support of Renaissance , scheduled to make stops in stadiums across the world in 2023 .

The musician confirmed the news on Wednesday morning. The tour will begin in Europe this May before landing in North America on July 8 with back-to-back nights at Toronto’s Rogers Centre. The tour will make stops in Philadelphia, Nashville, Chicago, Boston, Atlanta, Miami, Houston, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, New Orleans, and more.

The Renaissance tour marks Beyoncé’s first extended stretch on the road since the On the Run tour, which made 48 stops across North America and Europe in 2018. Those shows were proceeded by the singer’s redefining Coachella performance, which arrived as the Netflix concert film Homecoming the following year.

The clips sparked multiple viral moments, the most notable being Beyoncé’s new vocal arrangements on familiar records, including “Drunk in Love” and “Countdown.” The private concert, notably, did not include any Renaissance tracks on the setlist, even the chart-topping lead single “Break My Soul.”

The tour announcement arrives as a saving grace for a starved BeyHive, still yearning for any meaningful visual companion pieces to the singer’s acclaimed seventh studio album. If Beyoncé is heading on the road again, maybe the wait for the music videos she teased in the record release trailer won’t be too much longer.

Beyoncé Announces Renaissance World Tour 2023 with Stops in 25 U.S. Cities

The "Crazy in Love" singer confirmed the hugely anticipated stadium tour on Instagram Wednesday morning

Beyoncé is back, baby!

The singer, who is up for nine Grammys this Sunday , revealed her Renaissance World Tour 2023 on Wednesday morning in an Instagram post — coincidentally, (or perhaps, very strategically!) six years to the day she announced her surprise pregnancy with twins .

The highly anticipated tour — produced by Parkwood Entertainment and promoted by Live Nation — is set to kick off in Europe on May 10 at Friends Arena in Stockholm, Sweden before touring overseas in Cardiff, Edinburgh, Sunderland, Paris, London, Marseille, Amsterdam, Warsaw and more.

A North American leg of the tour begins on July 8 in Toronto, Canada before hitting 25 U.S. cities including Philadelphia, Nashville, Louisville, Minneapolis, Chicago, Detroit, East Rutherford, Boston, Pittsburgh, Washington, D.C., Charlotte, Atlanta, Tampa, Miami, St. Louis, Phoenix, Las Vegas, San Francisco, Inglewood, Vancouver, Seattle, Kansas City, Dallas, and Houston.

The tour is currently scheduled to wrap on Sept. 27 in New Orleans.

Beyonce's last tour was 2018's On the Run tour which hit 48 cities in North America and Europe. Beyoncé last performed a full concert back in 2018, when she and JAY-Z, 53, appeared at the Global Citizen Festival: Mandela 100 event .

The tour announcement comes just over one week after Queen Bey performed her first full concert in more than four years, when she performed an hour-long set at the new Atlantis The Royal Resort in Dubai.

Moving through a decade of iconic hits, Beyoncé, 41, performed staples such as "Crazy in Love," "Beautiful Liar" and "Naughty Girl," as well as more recent tunes including "Freedom," "Spirit" and "Be Alive."

The singer wore a set of dazzling looks during the performance, including a yellow custom-made Atelier Zuhra corseted dress, which was topped with a feathered skirt and matching backpiece, when she opened the show performing a cover of Etta James ' "At Last."

Then, the mother of three changed into another custom gown, an all-red Nicolas Jebran ensemble composed of a skin-tight bodysuit that was decorated with gold jewels across her torso and chest. She accessorized the look with a matching, billowing skirt and an intricate headpiece.

Notably missing from Beyoncé's set was any song from Renaissance .

Renaissance , which has been billed as the first of a three-part project , marks Beyoncé's first solo album in six years.

She previously released Dangerously in Love (2003), B'Day (2006), I Am... Sasha Fierce (2008), 4 (2011), Beyoncé (2013) and Lemonade (2016), following her tenure with Destiny's Child . Beyoncé also appeared on the 2018 collaborative album Everything Is Love with husband JAY-Z , as well as 2019's The Lion King: The Gift , a soundtrack for Disney's live-action adaptation that features original music by the artist.

After more than two months of traversing Europe with her six-part, nearly three-hour show, Beyoncé has landed in the U.S. with the Renaissance World Tour .

Five-plus years since she last graced a concert stage, Beyoncé played for more than 1 million fans on her opening run overseas and will perform 23 stadium shows in the U.S., which started July 12 in Philadelphia.

Everything We Learned from Night One of Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour

I t’s the moment everyone’s been waiting for: Beyoncé finally kicked off her Renaissance World Tour in Stockholm, Sweden , Wednesday night. This comes close to a year after the release of her seventh album, RENAISSANCE , a period during which she has rarely acknowledged the album with interviews or public performances of the new music, nor put out any music videos to accompany the songs. Nonetheless, the BeyHive was still buzzing with excitement on social media as they shared clips of the stage, the merchandise, the view from different VIP sections, and, most importantly, the artist performing the songs live for the first time.

Beyoncé is gearing up for a second night at the Friends Arena in Stockholm. As she gets ready to hit the stage, let’s take a look at what was revealed in the first show that might offer an indication of what could happen on the rest of the highly anticipated tour. A lot has already happened—from Bey herself addressing the lack of visuals to her celebration of the LGBTQ+ community, in keeping with the themes of the album.

Here’s everything we learned from night one of the Renaissance World Tour.

If we haven’t learned by now, Beyoncé releases things when she is good and ready . This is her first solo album since 2016’s Lemonade , so we can’t act surprised that she told her fans to be patient and stop asking about the music videos. Her last solo albums, Lemonade , Beyoncé , and The Gift (a concept album for The Lion King ), all had visual components that included music videos for each song. This built up the expectation that RENAISSANCE would get the same treatment.

Beyoncé is online and knows her fans have been hounding her, and she has finally responded. During a break on the first night, a disembodied voice addressed the crowd as the words it spoke were displayed on stage: “Aww, you mad? Well, there’s no remedy for that, bitches… I know you’ve asked for the visuals. You’ve called for the Queen. But a Queen moves at her own pace, bitch. Decides when she wants to give you a f-cking taste. So get your fork and your spoon if you got one.”

She is cutting out some of her biggest hits to make room for the new album and deep cuts

Attendees at the concert in Stockholm filmed every moment for the world to see on social media, and many of Beyoncé’s fans were quite surprised by some of the songs she decided to perform. She opened the show with “Dangerously In Love” from her debut album of the same name and ran through a string of popular songs, both mainstream hits and fan favorites. At the opening night show, she also performed songs like “Rather Die Young,” “Flaws and All,” and “Black Parade,” which have not gotten much attention from Beyoncé in recent memory.

Some of Beyoncé’s most popular songs, many of which she has made a point to perform on past tours, are notably missing from the set list. “Run The World” fans, do not worry: she still performs the song. But those who are fans of “If I Were a Boy,” “Single Ladies,” and “Halo,” a notorious closer for Beyoncé—as evidenced by the Homecoming concert film and her Formation World Tour— may be disappointed.

Beyoncé brought back the Les Twins, who have accompanied her on multiple tours and performances

The Les Twins, Laurent and Larry, were approached by Beyoncé years ago after a video of them dancing went viral and they appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show . They were invited to perform with Beyoncé at the Billboard Music Awards in 2011, and she took them on the road with her for the Mrs. Carter World Tour, her joint On The Run Tour with Jay-Z, and her Coachella performance in 2018 . Her fans were excited to see the Les Twins back on stage with her for this new tour.

It was gay as hell: An unabashed celebration of the LGBTQ+ community

In the lead-up to the album, Beyoncé dedicated the project to her Uncle Johnny, who battled HIV when she was young. He is referenced in the song “HEATED,” and in the outro of the song, Beyoncé takes on the role of MC at a ball (a queer dance party) where she starts “reading.” All of these influences took center stage at the Renaissance World Tour and will make a strong statement when it comes stateside in July, given the wave of anti-LGBTQ+ legislation being introduced across the country.

One of the biggest displays of affection for her queer fans came even before the concert started. As concertgoers poured into the stadium, they were greeted with a fake TV error screen, but if you look closely, some of the colors are different. This error screen has the colors of the progress pride flag, which includes colors from the transgender pride flag, as well as brown and black to indicate the greater discrimination experienced by those members of the community. Twitter users joked, “Nashville is gonna be ready to arrest Beyoncé for this, lord Jesus,” referencing the state’s attempt to ban drag shows and broader attempts across the US to infringe on trans people’s rights.

There is also a ball that happens in the show. Beyoncé makes space for her dancers to vogue and dance to her song, “PURE/HONEY.”

Some people might recognize Honey Balenciaga from The House of Balenciaga, which appeared in season two of HBO Max’s Legendary . She was seen voguing on stage with the rest of Beyoncé’s dancers.

As we’ve seen with other tours from major artists like Harry Styles, Taylor Swift, and the 1975, their fervent fan base will keep everyone up to date on all the song changes, new outfits, and surprises that these artists pull out of their bag of tricks on the road. As we’ve seen with Swift’s notoriously sold-out Eras Tour, her fans made sure to give people who couldn’t get tickets a chance to see the tour play out online. Based on how night one played out, it seems like Beyoncé’s fans will be doing the same for those of us stuck at home.

From a private show in Dubai and its official opening in Stockholm to its Canadian dates last week, most of the globe has gotten at least a glimpse, from afar, of Beyoncé on the Renaissance World Tour — her first in nearly five years. Last night, the United States got its first in-person peek at the vibrancy of Club Renaissance with an opening show at Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Center.

Four words immediately come to mind in trying to do justice to the show: Daring. Elastic. Silvery. Very .

After the balladry of segment one’s “Opening Act” (the show is broken into six segments), the mood shifted and Beyoncé and company were ready to party, albeit robotically. Removing herself from “Metropolis”-inspired, metallic fem-bot gear, the vocalist jaggedly cut through fresh robo-R&B versions of “Renaissance” material such as “I’m That Girl,” “Cozy” and “Alien Superstar.” By doing so – and with adventurous choreography utilizing mechanical framing to mirror the songs’ lyrics – Beyoncé recontextualized her most recent album as something stranger, freer and more audacious in its live setting than in its studio renditions. For good measure, Bey also threw in elements of the odd-hop “Apeshit” from her Carters album with husband Jay-Z, and a stretch of Hova’s “Lift Off” cut with Kanye West.

Listening for what Beyoncé laced into each song and interpolated throughout each track became something of a spectator sport during this “Motherboard” segment. The brassy, hand-clapped disco of “Cuff It” mixed into thumpers such as “Energy” and “Break My Soul,” interspersing crowd-thrilling covers such as Teena Marie’s “Ooh La La,” the Jacksons’ “Shake Your Body,” Robin S’s “Show Me Love” and – for real pop-house punctuation – Madonna’s “Vogue.”

That segment’s rough feel made the next shift, “Anointed,” all the nicer. Starting off with a processional coat of many colors, this segment found her in peak vocal form, and her band at its most fluidly musical. The slow-to-fast gospel pop of “Church Girl,” the cosmopolitan quiet storm of “Rather Die Young” (you could hear her heart breaking when she sang “Boy, you’ll be the death of me”), the ever-ascending “Love on Top” (with its hat tipped to “I Want You Back” from the Jackson 5) — perfection. When Bey sang elastically through an insistent, aggressive “Crazy in Love,” with its catwalk choreography, it was the tart cherry on an already delicious sundae. When an oversized disco ball moved through mid-air for the creamy, drifting balladry of “Plastic Off the Sofa” and an overheated, swirlingly romantic mash-up of “Virgo’s Groove” and “Naughty Girl” (the latter with a caramelly chunk of “Say My Name” at its center), Beyoncé readied her crowd for an old school, tickling house music finale. With the star dressed in bee-bug yellow-and-black gear for this last “Mind Control” segment, the party rolled on hard with spare, bone-rattling percussion and bitchy swagger (“I’m just as petty as you are,” she roared during “Heated”), some Kraftwerk-ian soul (on the rough-edged “America Has a Problem”) and her lowest-voiced sing-speak (“Pure/Honey”). This transpired before yet another costume change (yes, a shiny silvery one) and her mount atop an arena-traveling flying horse for the syncopated, heavenly Giorgio Moroder epiphany of “Summer Renaissance.”

Two and a half hours after its start, Beyoncé turned off the strobe lights on Club Renaissance, and the party that started off with surprise tenderness and welcome poignancy ended with a loud and lovely bang of glorious disco communion.

Every Look From Beyoncé’s Renaissance Tour, From Custom Catsuits to Disco-Inspired Couture

Beyoncé’s Renaissance tour began with a bang in Stockholm and it hasn't slowed down since. The highly-anticipated show has featured inventive set design, a decades-spanning setlist, and a plethora of standout style moments—from to archival pieces to custom looks and nearly everything in between. The star’s wardrobe has combined her signature style with the visual ethos of the album Renaissance ( think lots of sequins, silver, catsuits, and the occasional bee-inspired look). Beyoncé has also been wearing looks from brands specific to the city she’s performing in—for the UK leg of her tour she wore picks from the London-based Mary Katrantzou and Robert Wun while in Marseille, France she opted for a look by designer Simon Porte Jacquemus.

The singer has donned looks from both established brands—Valentino, Mugler, lots of Alexander McQueen, among others—as well as smaller labels like Anrealage and Brandon Blackwood. Balmain catsuits and mini dresses have been a constant throughout her tour wardrobe (in March, she partnered with creative director Olivier Rousteing to design a Renaissance couture line for the brand ) as well as imaginative pieces from Loewe. Beyoncé began the tour in Europe which has seen her in London, Paris, and other cities with the last being Warsaw, Poland on June 28th. She will then head to North America with her last date coming in New Orleans, Louisiana on September 27th. Beyoncé certainly made a splash for her final Renaissance show in Kansas City, Missouri. To open the concert, the star wore a custom Balenciaga gown, embroidered with over 8000 crystal rhinestones, and black opera gloves.

The star also brought out a black, latex version of a previous Ivy Park bodysuit and cropped jacket for her final show.

It’s fitting that perhaps the most memorable look from Beyoncé’s tour, a crystalized Loewe bodysuit, came in not one, not two, but three color ways.

At Beyoncé’s Houston show, Meghan Thee Stallion hit the stage to perform the “Savage” remix live for the first time. Naturally, then, the singer made sure to bring out a handful of major looks for such an occasion, including this dramatic black-and-white Balmain gown.

For another Houston ensemble, Beyoncé went with a black number by British maestro Gareth Pugh that was trimmed with reflective detailing.

Lingerie powerhouse Agent Provocateur designed this fringed, metallic piece for the singer’s Houston Renaissance stop.

American designer Rick Owens’ first custom look for Beyoncé’s tour came in the form of this plunging, sculptural bodysuit that she paired with silver cut-out boots and shield sunglasses.

The Carters have a song called “Boss,” but it was Beyoncé who looked in control wearing this full look from, yes, Boss. Silver was again the color of choice for the star—opting for slouchy boots, a form-fitting bodysuit, and cropped statement jacket.

Beyoncé donned her mermaid best while in Dallas, Texas with this custom Georges Hobeika couture look. The gown, which took over 300 hours to make, is embroidered with layers of Swarovski crystals and features a dramatic head veil.

This custom look from Milanese house Del Core featured pink garter boots and a sculptural bodysuit complete with statement shoulders. Plus, some very “Alien Superstar” sunglasses to match.

Despite saying her “Telfar bag imported,” it took Beyoncé until her tour’s Seattle stop to sport a look from the New York brand . The red, sequined cut-out bodysuit was certainly worth the wait, though (Blue Ivy also had a matching look from Telfar).

For her show in Seattle, Washington, Beyoncé donned lots of denim in the form of this Diesel bodysuit moment complete with a blue overcoat.

The star pulled out this crystallized, sheer Elie Saab couture look complete with a dramatic hood and feathered train.

This sequined Vera Wang bodysuit was taken to the next level with layers of blue chiffon that moved gracefully while the singer performed in Vancouver, Canada.

For her first Renaissance concert up North in Vancouver, Canada, Beyoncé pulled out a few new looks like this custom Ivy Park gear that featured intricate embroidery throughout. She added a matching top hat, overcoat, and silver above-the-knee boots to complete the ensemble.

Brazilian brand PatBO brought the sparkle (and fringe) with this eye-catching, hand-beaded number they designed for the singer’s Vancouver, Canada concert.

This is the second flame bodysuit that Roberto Cavalli has designed for the singer. This time, though, the look was even more fiery thanks to dozens of red and orange Swarovski crystals lining the piece.

Beyoncé made this barely-there lingerie look by Agent Provocateur stage-ready by adding fringed boots and a sparkly overcoat.

Like many a pop star, it’s no secret that Beyoncé loves a Mugler bodysuit. Here, the star wore a strappy silver version that she styled with metallic boots and shield sunglasses.

Beyoncé pulled out all types of looks for her Los Angeles show, which also happened to fall on her 42nd birthday. In one of many new looks during the night, she rocked this embroidered Givenchy bodysuit with a cropped black jacket and patent heels.

Beyoncé went big for her first Versace look during her Renaissance tour. She wore a skin-hugging mini dress and over-the knee boots designed in the Italian brand’s signature Medusa print.

The star opted for a lace Dolce & Gabbana look consisting of a corseted bodice and a dramatic off-the-shoulder train.

A vision in red, Beyoncé wore a ruched Balmain top that she paired with latex, cargo-style pants and opera-length gloves. To round out the look, she wore a Ruslan Baginskiy hat and Thierry Lasry sunglasses.

Pucci is known for their statement prints, so it’s no surprise this bodysuit was heavy on all sorts of colors. The look featured the Italian brand’s archival "Giardino” print as well as crystal embellishments and a sparkling body chain.

Loewe may have created the most memorable look from Beyoncé’s tour thus far with their “hands” bodysuit. For her Los Angeles show, the singer wore another anatomy-focused look from the Spanish brand, this one, in black and red.

This pink Gucci look consisted of pleated satin and a handful of pearl and crystal embellishments. The star added in velvet gloves, a wide-brimmed hat, and a pair of bedazzled binoculars for good measure.

For the opening portion of her Los Angeles show, Beyoncé donned this rose pink Tamara Ralph gown that featured ruching at the side and feathered sleeves.

While she may have been hidden underneath a sculptural headpiece, this ivory Danielle Frankel look certainly spoke for itself.

Australian designer Tamara Ralph created this velvet gown, complete with shimmering details at the bodice, for Beyoncé’s Los Angeles show. She paired the dramatic piece with a black top hat and Alaïa heels.

The singer looked in control with a custom A-Morir cane that she wore with a bedazzled bodysuit by Prada inspired by their spring/summer 2012 collection.

Instead of her usual over-the-knee stilettos, Beyoncé opted for a towering pair of Marc Jacobs “Kiki” boots. She also wore a custom iteration of a look from the American brand’s fall/winter 2023 collection that featured a glittering red scarf.

This custom Alexander McQeen number, which featured an embellished mini dress and sculptural headpiece, was inspired by the brand’s fall/winter 2013 couture collection.

Sarah Diouf, the designer behind African brand Tongoro, designed this black-and-white motif bodysuit, gloves, and boots for the singer’s Santa Clara, California show.

The star looked presidential in another Ralph Lauren look, this one, a tuxedo-style bodysuit that she paired with a feather boa, bedazzled cane, and black boots.

In an ensemble that would make her song “Telephone” proud, Beyoncé donned a custom bodysuit by Lou de Bètoly made from recycled phones, chargers, and crystals.

Yes, that is Beyoncé hidden under all of that silver fringe. During her Las Vegas show, she certainly made a statement in this silver Jacquemus look.

Even when hidden underneath a red top hat, Beyoncé looked Renaissance -ready in this silver mini dress by Ukrainian brand Frolov.

Beyoncé opted for another printed Marine Serre ensemble, this time, a silver bodysuit layered with a red cut-out dress.

Cult-favorite lingerie brand Agent Provocateur designed this metallic bodysuit, completed with cut-out detailing, for the singer’s Las Vegas show.

Leave it to Beyoncé to make newsboy caps look cool. Here, she paired the accessory with a latex and fishnet look from Dundas.

The star spiced things up with a sheer, crystalized bodysuit by Bronx and Banco that she wore with a white feather overcoat.

Beyoncé donned another Givenchy look during her Glendale, Arizona stop–this one a form-fitting suit dress complete with gold accents along the waist and arms.

British brand Gareth Pugh designed this sculptural metallic bodysuit for the singer, which she paired with over-the-knee boots and flashy opera gloves.

The star swapped out her Loewe “hands” bodysuit for an equally as flashy look from the Spanish brand in the form of a black long sleeve, high-low dress.

Beyoncé looked ravishing in red when she wore this Atelier Zuhra look composed of a glittering bodysuit and a statement-making, sculptural train.

This very “Alien Superstar” ensemble by Zigman featured a semi-sheer bodysuit, metallic knee-high boots, and antena-like wings that doubled as a train.

Georgian brand Situationist and Ukrainian label Yaspis came together to create this custom metallic look for Beyoncé’s Phoenix, Arizona show. The dress featured a criss-cross halter bodice and an asymmetrical draped skirt with a daring slit up to her waist. To finish things off, the star added in a pair of opera-length gloves and a crystal mesh bodysuit.

The superstar, who celebrates her birthday September 4, recently posted a request to her fans via Instagram. “Virgo season is upon us,” she wrote. “This tour has been such a joy and as we approach the last month, my birthday wish is to celebrate with you wearing your most fabulous silver fashions to the show 8.23 – 9.22.”

Beyoncé has long been a fan of Lebanese designer Nicolas Jebran, so it’s only fitting that he crafted one of her buzziest Renaissance World Tour ensembles yet. The custom yellow bodysuit, which took over 200 hour s to make, was paired with beaded opera gloves and knee-high boots. Of course, the star rounded things out with antenna-like shield glasses.

London-based Alessandra Rich designed this shimmering ensemble for Beyoncé’s St. Louis, Missouri stop. The look featured a semi-sheer crystal net bodysuit complete with patent detailing at the midsection and sleeves. Prior to showing off the form-fitting catsuit, she wore a vinyl trench coat and coordinating top hat.

Beyoncé celebrated the arrival of Virgo season with this custom Loewe look that she wore for her St. Louis, Missouri show. She paired the look, which consisted of a metallic sculptural top and black maxi skirt, with sparkly heels from The Attico. The singer also announced that she wants her fans to wear their “most fabulous silver fashions” for the remaining month of her Renaissance tour, which concludes on September 22nd. “We’ll surround ourselves in a shimmering human disco ball each night,” she said in a statement.

The singer previously wore a similar swirl motif mini dress from David Koma earlier on in her tour. This time, though, she paired the piece with an asymmetrical leather jacket, patent cowboy boots, and sleek silver sunglasses.

Beyoncé definitely brought the heat to Miami in this sparkling custom Gucci look. The Italian brand created a corseted bodysuit draped with strands of silver fabric for the singer, which she paired with over-the-knee fringe boots.

Though this custom Valdrin Sahiti bodysuit followed a similar silhouette to many of Beyoncé’s form-fitting looks, its dramatic tulle shoulders and flowing train certainly spiced things up a bit. The singer rounded out the look with a pair of cat eye sunglasses and PVC heels by Mach and Mach.

Unlike her Marni look which was heavy on mixed metals, this custom Missoni ensemble was pure silver. She also wore a silver long sleeve top with built-in gloves underneath, Amina Muaddi heels, and custom Tiffany & Co. glasses.

If anyone can make a newsboy cap work, it’s certainly Beyoncé. She accessorized this fitted, embroidered bodysuit from Self-Portrait with a matching hat and strappy heels.

Alberta Ferretti has been a constant throughout Beyoncé’s Renaissance wardrobe. So, naturally, the singer chose a scarlet bodysuit, complete with a sculpted bodice and plenty of crystals, for her Atlanta show.

The star opted for another Gaurav Gupta look, this one, from the brand’s fall/winter 2023 collection. Like her previous ensemble from the brand, the green dress featured an array of smartly placed cut-outs and a thigh-high slit.

If this Carolina Herrera ensemble looks familiar, that’s because Beyoncé previously wore a red version earlier on in her tour. Like the last wear, this one was made complete with a dramatic headpiece and opera-style gloves. The star chose a Barbie pink look from Lapointe during her show in Charlotte, North Carolina. The curve-hugging mini dress featured a one-side feather sleeve and a draped train at the side. Of course, she had to add in a pair of sequined knee-high boots and fringe sunglasses from A-Morir for good measure.

This Gaurav Gupta bodysuit may be Beyoncé’s most detailed one to date—the piece featured elaborate infinity draping that cascaded throughout the look. She then paired the top half with garter-inspired crystal leggings that transitioned into boots.

For her New York show, Beyoncé, fittingly, wore one of the city’s favorite designers. Her custom Marc Jacobs gown featured a dramatic slit, bending black and white stripes, and a slew of dazzling Swarovski crystals.

This Alexander McQueen may look familiar. The singer wore a similar version just a few stops ago in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This one, however, featured a slightly different color way in bronze and silver and was accented by a dramatic reflective cape.

The singer looked ethereal in this semi-sheer Georges Hobeika gown. The piece featured delicate embroidery throughout and a strappy neckline at the bodice. Her sheer headpiece was crafted with 3D embroidered flowers and her opera gloves were trimmed with train-like pieces of fabric.

Instead of a form-fitting bodysuit like she’s worn in the past, her jersey-style long sleeve was decidedly more casual (yet still packed a punch with crystal embroidery). Blue Ivy had on a matching jersey, too.

Sparkles and (faux) fur took center stage in this Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini look. Her long sleeve bodysuit was embellished with Swarovski crystals and layered perfectly beneath the apricot coat.

The singer packed on the sparkle in this Miu Miu look during her stop in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The tank and cut-off shorts were embroidered with rhinestones and crystals as were her fringed knee-high boots, naturally. She paired the set with a custom Tiffany & Co. silver peephole cowboy hat and HardWear drop earrings.

Louis Vuitton’s newly appointed creative director of menswear, Pharrell Williams, designed this glittering catsuit for Beyoncé’s Detroit, Michigan concert. The two have quite the history as long time friends and collaborators—Williams has produced songs for Beyoncé in the past and she recently attended his debut runway show for the French brand earlier this year. The custom bodysuit put a spin on the brand’s famed Damier check through glittering crystal embroidery. Williams also created custom ensembles for Blue Ivy and Beyoncé’s backup dancers.

Beyoncé looked like liquid gold in this hooded mesh gown from Ivy Park. The piece featured slight ruching at the waist and a dramatic side slit which showed off her daring footwear choice—a pair of Alaïa cabaret heels. The patent calfskin choice are from the brand’s spring/summer 2023 collection in which the heel is designed to mimick the shape of two legs.

This silver cut-out number may just be Beyoncé’s most disco-ready jumpsuit yet. Custom designed by Lanvin, the piece featured the brand’s signature gold hardware as well as ruching throughout. To round things out, Beyoncé accessorized the look with equally as flashy opera gloves and above-the-knee boots.

Beyoncé traded her tour wardrobe of silver and gold for some Tiffany blue while in Chicago, Illinois. The look was created in partnership with designer Giles Deacon and featured a sculptural bodice and sheer organza gloves. She paired the dress with, of course, a custom Tiffany & Co. Twister Collar Necklace.

Beyoncé’s Acne Studios ensemble may have nailed the Barbie pink look, but it certainly did not disappoint during her Minneapolis show. She paired her reflective mini shorts and bustier with an oversized jacket and sparkling thigh-high boots.

Beyoncé’s Renaissance wardrobe isn’t just limited to bodysuits—she’s also been incorporating dramatic ensembles like this custom Schiaparelli mini dress and shawl. The strapless piece featured white feathered detailing which she paired with simple Dolce & Gabbana heels.

Balmain has been a focal point of Beyoncé’s Renaissance wardrobe and things got taken up a notch during her stop in Minneapolis. The singer opted for a sculptural latex bodysuit that she accessorized with knee-high boots, shield sunglasses, and a brimmed top hat.

It’s no secret that Beyoncé has been all in on the bodysuit style throughout her tour. But this custom Diesel look for her Louisville, Kentucky show may just be one of her most unique styles thus far. The trompe l’oeil look featured a print mimicking denim and grey crystals throughout. And to round things out, the piece’s boots and gloves were connected to the main portion of the ensemble.

Pulling out the sequins in Louisville, Beyoncé dazzled in this custom mini dress by Raisa Vanessa. The dress took nearly six months to make and featured a plunging neckline and two slits on either side. The singer rounded out the look with glittering knee-high boots and goggle-style sunglasses.

Alexander McQueen was a staple throughout Beyoncé’s European performances, so it’s no surprise that she’s returned to the British brand when stateside. During her Nashville concert, the singer wore a custom bodysuit, gloves, and boots complete with crystal embroidery. She stopped it off with a UFO-shaped chapeau appropriate for an alien superstar. The outfit seemed to be a shorter version of a look she wore earlier on in the tour.

The singer opted for another dazzling custom look from David Koma. Unlike her previous printed mini dress from the British designer, this red number had plenty of sequins throughout as well as an asymmetrical train detail. She rounded things out with patent leather boots, a ruby belt, and pendant necklace.

The McQueen look wasn’t the only repurposed silhouette Beyoncé wore in Nashville. She opted for a pink Ivy Park jacket, halter top, and shorts that are, again, a shorter iteration of a similar bodysuit she previously wore in Europe. She also mixed in a pair of custom Tiffany & Co. sunglasses and Gedebe boots to make things even more Renaissance worthy.

Beyoncé certainly leaned into some drama (and disco) with this custom Valentino look in Philadelphia. The focal point was the seemingly never-ending sequined train that connected to the pouf bodice of the bodysuit. She paired the flashy piece with coordinating boots, and towards the end of the show, she flew above the crowd in this look while mounted on a horse.

The singer mixed in some more sequins in Philadelphia with this custom Givenchy mini dress. The piece featured intricately placed cut-outs as well as fringe throughout the dress. She rounded things out with strappy heels and sheer black opera gloves. She, of course, also had on diamonds from Tiffany & Co. in the form of a ring, drop earrings, and a tennis bracelet.

Beyoncé went with another camouflage look from her label Ivy Park, this one a two-piece set. The crop top had built in sleeve-gloves and the mini shorts also featured chaps-like detailing that extended into her boots.

Beyoncé has been wearing plenty of Tiffany & Co. jewelry throughout her tour, but she took it to another level for her first North American stop in Toronto, Canada. The singer donned a dazzling bespoke mini dress from the brand complete with layers of chains and stones. The mesh look of the piece was inspired by the designs of Elsa Peretti and took nearly 200 hours to make. Beyoncé paired the piece with custom Malone Souliers heels as well as vintage earrings and an anklet both from Tiffany & Co.

Also while in Toronto, the singer traded her layered mini dress for a dazzling custom Fendi gown. The piece is a riff on a similar look from the brand’s spring/summer 2021 couture collection and features a daring slit as well as crystal embroidery meant to imitate the appearance of honeycombs. She rounded out the look with another pair of clear heels and statement tassel earrings.

Leave it Beyoncé to make comouflage cool. During the Toronto stop of her tour, the singer wore a fully patterned ensemble from her brand Ivy Park. The look featured a cropped jacket, over-the-knee boots and a plunging bodysuit.

For the final stop of the European leg, Beyoncé went with a slew of sequined and silver ensembles while performing in Warsaw, Poland. This look, by Balmain’s Olivier Rousteing, featured a dramatic bodice that cascaded down her side as well as a daring slit at the skirt. The singer rounded out her look with velvet gloves and a pair of Manolo Blahnik heels.

While Beyoncé has had some pretty avant-garde outfits, this Richard Quinn number may be her most “Alien Superstar” yet. The look featured legging-style pants with large crystal embellishments as well as a peplum-inspired top finished with similar adornments. However, the focal point of the ensemble is certainly the UFO-like headpiece that obscured everything but the singer’s eyes.

Outfitting an entire crew and Beyoncé is certainly no small feat, but global brand Daily Paper seemed to be up for the task. During the "Opulence" section of her concert in Warsaw, Beyoncé donned an embellished black jumpsuit and reflective track jacket from the brand—which she paired with knee-high boots and one of her signature top hats. In addition to Beyoncé’s look, Daily Paper designed over 100 custom tracksuits for her crew and dancers, mostly in silver reflective nylon.

Just one night after sporting a similar hooded piece while in Paris, Beyoncé went with another veiled look, this time, for her concert in Hamburg, Germany. The ensemble is designed by Carolina Herrera creative director Wes Gordon and features a plunging bodysuit, sheer red tights, and a silk hood that connects at the head and arms. Of course, the singer also had on her signature opera gloves and glitzy earrings to round out the look.

Again in Hamburg, the singer chose a look from Ivy Park—one of a wider selection of pieces from an upcoming collection between her brand and Adidas. Naturally, backup dancer’s leotards matched her ruched mini dress and knee-high boots.

Ferragamo’s creative director Maximillian Davis designed this red glittering gown for the singer’s show in Amsterdam. In honor of Juneteenth, Davis was one of several Black designers that Beyoncé wore throughout the show.

This robo-couture custom Balmain look featured silver-plated detailing that paneled the singer’s bodysuit. She paired the piece, which drifted into gloves, with a pair of knee-high boots.

“In the industry where we have to all fight, I want to thank [Beyoncé’s] support last night [to] all the Black designers that had created their own space in this tough industry,” Balmain designer Olivier Rousteing said . “This was the celebration.”

This is the second all-red Off-White look worn by Beyoncé during her tour. Her second version, however, featured a shortened silhouette and an accompanying top hat that was designed by the brand’s art and image director Ibrahim Kamara.

For her second Balmain look in Amsterdam, Beyoncé went with another iteration of the bee-inspired catsuits we’ve seen repeatedly on her tour thus far. This time, she paired the ensemble with a coordinating top hat rather than her infamous insect-like antena.

New York designer LaQuan Smith crafted this silver, shattered glass bodysuit for the singer’s Amsterdam stop. She paired the plunging piece with an equally as disco-worthy cape and heels.

London-based brand Feben outfitted Beyoncé in a color-blocked catsuit. “Thank you for inviting me into your world,” the designer wrote on Instagram . “What an incredible moment to be a part of, and a pivotal one for myself, and my inner child. It means the world to be supported and seen as a Black female designer in the industry.”

This deep silver mini dress was the second look from Ferragamo the singer wore in Amsterdam. The look featured ruched detailing that drifted into a train and above-knee boots.

While Beyoncé has, seemingly, unlimited access to a never-ending roster of designers, she went with her own label Ivy Park for this pink look in Amsterdam—and rightly so. Designed by the star herself, the piece featured daring slits, opera-style gloves, and a halter neckline.

“I started designing this collection over a year ago,” she said on Instagram . “I was so engulfed in all things Renaissance and was inspired by Studio 54, Bob Mackie, and the disco era.”

In Amsterdam, the singer went with a custom Gucci corseted leotard. The glitzy piece featured sheer detailing and draped crystal fringe that fell across the bodice area.

Naturally, Dutch designer Iris van Herpen was a standout of Beyoncé’s wardrobe for her first night in Amsterdam. The custom look, which took over 700 hours to make, featured a flowing train paired with a sculptural mini dress.

Yes, you can always count on Beyoncé to wear a form-fitting catsuit. But this one by Lebanese designer had a handful of eye-catching details. The bodice was composed of various strands of rhinestones and crystals and the sheer portion wrapped entirely around her body (even down to her boots).

French designer Simon Porte Jacquemus is from Marseille, France so it’s fitting that he outfitted the singer for her tour stop there. Jacquemus, who attended the concert, designed a form-ftting mini dress, boots, and gloves that featured disco ball-esque paillettes.

“[Beyoncé] is the first singer I saw live in Marseille 15 years ago,” he wrote on Instagram . “I’m so happy and proud. What a night in Provence, means a lot.”

This custom gown by Alebrta Ferretti has an embroidered leotard and a gold draped train that cascades down the singer’s side. Beyoncé wore the eye-catching piece with matching knee-high boots and black opera gloves (which have been a running theme in many of her looks throughout the tour thus far).

Beyoncé went with a sparkling, disco-inspired Stella McCartney dress and stirrup leggings for her concert in Barcelona, Spain. The custom look was made of environmentally friendly materials such as silver lead-free crystals.

“It is a life moment to dress someone as iconic and inspiring as Beyoncé—a visionary pioneer, disruptor, and artist who has worked tirelessly to make the world a better place,” the British designer said. A pair of clear Amina Muaddi heels rounded out the ensemble.

The star wore a custom Fendi leather intarsia catsuit for her show in the Spanish city. It was paired with over-the-knee boots, matching gloves, and an upcycled fur cape inspired by illustrations by Antonio Lopez as seen in Fendi’s spring 2022 collection.

For her fifth and final show in London, Beyoncé wore a custom Mary Katrantzou surrealist mini dress with black and gold detailing. The look, meant to resemble a perfume bottle, also featured a custom Stephen Jones bottle top headpiece, latex boots, and gloves.

The 41-year-old singer opted for a dramatic “Black Blossom” Robert Wun look. The form-fitting ensemble featured a plunging blazer accented by ruffled sleeves and asymmetrical pleated detailing.

Beyoncé again went with another British label for her third London show, this time a custom Andreas Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwood look. The mini latex dress features corset-style detailing and sheer spiral sleeves.

Beyoncé Returns to the Stage With a ‘Renaissance’ Spectacle

The pop superstar opened her first solo tour in seven years in Stockholm and performed tracks from her acclaimed 2022 album, but left most of the choreography to her dancers.

They came from Iceland, Portugal, Switzerland, Detroit. Dressed in “alien superstar” chic — rhinestone boots and disco-ready, glittery cowboy hats — a huge crowd gathered on Wednesday at the Friends Arena, their cheers reaching an almost deafening pitch as a woman gradually emerged from below, lights bouncing off the sequins on her outfit.

Beyoncé was back onstage.

The singer, style icon and heroine of the global BeyHive fan community is on the road solo for the first time in seven years with her Renaissance World Tour, which opened on Wednesday in Sweden with elaborate visuals but with unusual physical restraint from Beyoncé herself.

Onstage at the 50,000-capacity arena in Stockholm, she appeared flanked by dancers and backed by a live band, performing for three hours before a giant screen that displayed a constantly morphing tableau that was part retrofuturism and part disco fantasia. At one point, the 41-year-old artist traded dance moves with a pair of giant robot arms; at another, an image of a silvery alien dancer in heels hovered over a disco ball.

But for one of pop’s ultimate dancing queens, Beyoncé’s performance was far less physical than on past tours. She often seemed to keep her feet stationary while shaking her upper body, and appeared to favor one leg. She spent much of one song sitting atop a prop.

The star’s eagle-eyed fan community speculated online that the singer was injured. A spokeswoman for Beyoncé did not respond to questions about her performance.

Kristin Hulden, a Swedish fashion student who was wearing an embroidered jacket she had made that depicted Beyoncé riding a horse (the image on the cover of her latest album, “Renaissance”), said she had noticed the star’s more limited movement, but it hadn’t bothered her. “The show was so great,” she said. “The dancers, the visual — it never stopped.” Like many fans at the opening-night gig, she will attend several shows on the tour, returning to Friends Arena on Thursday and then heading to Hamburg, Germany, in June. “I’m very excited,” she added.

Competition for tickets to pop’s biggest, priciest concerts has been stiff, and many in the crowd had traveled far — even thousands of miles — to guarantee that they would see Beyoncé this time. (Thanks in part to favorable exchange rates, tickets in Sweden ended up being far cheaper than in the United States or Britain, costing between 650 and 1,495 Swedish kronor, or about $63 to $146.)

Rhoyle Ivy King, 26, an actor wearing a fluorescent turquoise jumpsuit and shades, said before the show that he had come from Los Angeles for the concert, spending about $2,500. “Anything for mother,” he said. “Seriously.”

Beyoncé has not toured on her own since her Formation outing in 2016 , following the release of her pop-culture-dominating “Lemonade.” In 2018, she performed at the Coachella festival and hit the road with her husband, Jay-Z, for their joint On the Run II Tour.

The new tour is for “Renaissance,” a homage to decades of Black queer dance music. The LP, her seventh solo release, opened at No. 1 last summer, and its single “Break My Soul” became her first solo No. 1 hit since “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)” in 2008.

It was, notably, the first Beyoncé album in nearly a decade to arrive without a full suite of accompanying videos. Starting with her surprise self-titled LP in 2013, the singer has become synonymous with elaborately choreographed and highly produced visual pieces.

On Wednesday, she revealed several futuristic fashion choices: an iridescent-effect minidress; a shimmery gold bodysuit festooned with black opera gloves covering strategic locations; a black-and-silver suit that resembled royal armor. At one point, Beyoncé was dressed in sci-fi bee chic: a yellow-and-black leotard with cutouts and sharp angles, and knee-high black boots. The cyborg theme was fully reflected at the merch stands, with T-shirts, hoodies and totes carrying images of Beyoncé in silvery, “ Metropolis ”-like robot costumes.

The set list featured songs from her debut solo album from 2003 (“Crazy in Love”), her 2008 double album “I Am … Sasha Fierce” (“Diva”), her 2011 LP “4” (including “Love on Top,” which Beyoncé let the crowd finish for her) and her self-titled 2013 release (“Drunk in Love”), alongside a host of tracks from “Renaissance,” including “Move,” “America Has a Problem” and “Cozy.” For the closer, “Summer Renaissance,” the singer sat atop a silver horse that was hoisted from the rafters and then ascended above the crowd by herself, sporting a grand, sparkling cape.

In February, Beyoncé announced the Renaissance tour by simply posting an image to social media. Three months earlier, the demand for tickets to Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour had led to a Ticketmaster meltdown, leaving many fans frustrated and calling for Washington to examine the outsize market power of Ticketmaster and its corporate parent, Live Nation.

To handle the ticketing for Beyoncé’s tour — which is being promoted by Beyoncé’s company, Parkwood Entertainment, and produced by Live Nation — Ticketmaster had an elaborate plan that included rolling out sales in batches, rather than all at once, and the process went far more smoothly.

Still, Beyoncé drew controversy this year when she performed a private show at a luxury hotel in Dubai, in United Arab Emirates, where homosexuality is illegal. “Renaissance” draws heavily on dance music of the 1990s and L.G.B.T.Q. culture; at the Friends Arena, signs denoted some “ gender neutral restrooms ” in the official tour font.

Oless Mauigoa, 35, had traveled from Salt Lake City and said that “Renaissance” had made him desperate to see the show. “I feel like it’s dedicated to a lot of gay styles,” he said. “I’m connected to it more than anything she’s done.”

Beyoncé played into those connections throughout the show, nodding to the ballroom and vogueing culture that inspired “Renaissance” at the end of the night by giving the stage over to her dancers, who tried to outperform each other to rousing cheers.

Beyoncé’s tour continues in Stockholm on Thursday and then arrives in London for five shows at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, starting May 29. Its North American leg will open in Toronto on July 9, will head to MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J., on July 29 and 30 and will close in New Orleans at the Caesars Superdome on Sept. 27.

Beyoncé finally announced a ‘Renaissance’ world tour for 2023!

Beyoncé ’s ‘Renaissance’ album was one of the biggest albums of the summer last year after the pop icon jumped on the disco-inspired dance music hype, taking it to a whole new level.

Bey confirmed the worldwide tour of stadiums earlier this year and released a string of dates, after she subtly let slip her plans to hit the road during the fifth annual Wearable Art Gala in October last year.

The ‘Cuff It’ singer donated two concert tickets to ‘Beyoncé’s ‘Renaissance’ 2023 tour, as well as a backstage tour from the Queen Bee’s mum herself, Miss Tina.

Beyoncé low-key confirmed her tour back in October at a charity auction in October.

“Celebrating her seventh studio album, Beyoncé has announced that she will be taking ‘Renaissance’ on tour and we are offering an exclusive 2 tickets to see her live from anywhere around the world, courtesy of United Airlines and their Polaris package,” the listing read.

According to the auction’s presentation, the concert package was valued at $20,000 (£17,670) and offered the chance to see Beyoncé ‘on tour, starting Summer 2023’ as well as first class flights and accommodation.

It’s thought the prize was auctioned off for $50,000 (£44k) on the night.

Beyoncé Adds 7 Dates To Renaissance World Tour 2023 – Complete Itinerary & Ticket Info

UPDATED with info on added shows : Beyoncé has added seven dates to the North American leg of her 2023 Renaissance World Tour, including new stops in L.A. and the New York area. The other new dates are in Toronto, Chicago, Washington, D.C., Atlanta and Houston. They’ve been added where indicated into the full list of dates below.

An official statement indicated that “Fan demand already exceeds the number of available tickets by more than 800% based on current registration numbers.” Thus, the added dates.

PREVIOUSLY on February 1 : Beyoncé has announced a world tour to support her Renaissance album, with dates across Europe beginning in May and moving to the U.S. in July.

Although the singer made the announcement in an Instagram post today with little detail about the tour, a link to the tour’s website reveals a lengthy itinerary. Among the stops: Two London shows, one NYC area show and one L.A. area show.

Beyoncé is nominated for nine 2023 Grammys, and if she wins four this Sunday she’ll break the record as most awarded artist in Grammys history. Her last solo tour was the Formation tour in 2016.

Parking:    

Parking will be very limited on show day in the Lumen Field Parking Garage. We recommend fans with pre-purchased parking passes in the Lumen Field Parking Garage to arrive early.

Public Transportation:  

We strongly recommend taking advantage of the many easy and cost-effective public transportation options to and from the concert including bus, light rail, streetcar, ferry, and bike or scooter share. Allow for extra travel time when planning your trip to and from the event. View Seattle public transportation information at Sound Transit and King County Metro.    

Entry Information  

• Bowl Tickets: If you have a ticket in the seating bowl (non-floor ticket) you can enter through the NW Gate, W Gate, or S Gate. You will not be able to enter through the SW or Event Center gate.
• Floor Tickets: Fans with floor tickets must enter through the dedicated Floor Ticket Entry point through the Event Center Gate (look for signage outside under the WAMU Theater marquee). If you are attending with someone who does not have a floor ticket, they will need to enter through the bowl ticket gates.  
• Club Renaissance/VIP/Bey Hive: If you have a VIP Ticket (including Club Renaissance and Bey Hive), you will need to enter through the SW gate .  
• Club & Suite Tickets: If you have a club or suite ticket, you can enter through any bowl gate in addition to Level 5 (club) & 6 (suite) of the Lumen Field Parking Garage .  
• Accessible Entry Information: All gates allow ADA access. In addition, Level 2 of the Lumen Field Parking Garage is an ADA-only entrance. If entering the Parking Garage from Royal Brougham Way, take the elevator to Level 2 and cross the garage to the opposite end. To view the Accessibility Services Guide, click here.  

• The NW Box Office will be open at 10am and the Event Center Box Office will be open at 3:30pm for ticketing questions and customer service.
• All tickets are mobile tickets. Fans are reminded to access their mobile tickets and pre-purchased parking passes in advance of the event and add them to their mobile wallet for expedited entry.  

Merchandise

• Merchandise will be available inside Lumen Field for guests with tickets to the show. A merchandise truck will also be open outside of the stadium by the NW gate on show day starting at noon.

Located at our District Markets (section 104, 105, 123, 323), Tutta Bella (section 137), Local Dogs and Links (sections 109 & 135), and Pizza Hut (section 107).

Lumen Field only accepts cards and contactless payment like Apple Pay (foods, bars, parking, etc.) For attendees without cards, we have cash-to-card kiosks available to easily convert cash onto a prepaid card.

Will Beyoncé announce the 'Cowboy Carter' tour? Fans think she may be hitting the road again soon

• Some fans think she's gearing up to tour again, though many say they don't have the funds to attend.
• The Renaissance World Tour wrapped last October in Kansas City. It was hailed as a must-see event.

Less than a year after the Renaissance World Tour wrapped, it might already be time for the Beyhive to dust off their boots and head back out to see Beyoncé live again.

The Renaissance World Tour was hailed as a once-in-a-lifetime event , a bona fide status symbol , and a blockbuster concert movie that awed audiences while near-singlehandedly boosting AMC's revenue . The 56-show run wrapped on October 1, 2023, in Kansas City.

On its heels, Beyoncé has released her new album " Cowboy Carter ." The triumphant country-inspired project is billed as "Act II" in a three-part "Renaissance" series.

So it would stand to reason — financially and thematically — that Beyoncé would plan another tour leg for "Cowboy Carter."

Her team seemed to hint that something is coming by launching a new website, " Been Country ." The landing page shows a photo of young Beyoncé performing at the Texas Sweetheart Pageant, as well as a childhood photo of her mother, Tina Knowles-Lawson , and an image of a banjo.

A fan account on Instagram shared a rumor that the tour announcement is scheduled for Friday, exactly one week after the album's arrival. Knowles-Lawson liked the post, adding more fuel to the rumor's flame.

Beyoncé's longtime collaborator The-Dream, who produced 10 of the new album's 27 tracks, also alluded to a forthcoming tour. He celebrated the release of "Cowboy Carter" on X, writing, "This tour bout to B' Incredible!"

However, the six-month turnaround since Beyoncé's last concert does cast suspicion on these theories. Thanks to "Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé," we know the Renaissance World Tour took four years to ideate and execute.

It's unclear if plans for a "Cowboy Carter" show were also in the works during that time, but if not, fans may have to wait a bit longer to watch Beyoncé perform. As she's already made clear, " A queen moves at her own pace ."

Even so, a delay may come as welcome news, even for dedicated members of the Beyhive.

Many fans have been posting about their lack of ticket funds on X, playfully begging Beyoncé to put off touring until next year.

‘Urgency and Realness': Inside the Human Rights Campaign's Beyoncé-Inspired ‘Renaissance' Syllabus

It may be Cowboy Carter week, but the silvery disco ball strobe lights of Renaissance - the first act of Beyoncé 's presently unfolding trilogy - continue to illuminate the world. On Monday (March 26), the Human Rights Campaign debuted Renaissance: A Queer Syllabus , a sprawling collection of academic articles, essays, films and other pieces of media rooted in Black queer and feminist studies and directly inspired by each track on Queen Bey's Billboard 200-topping dance album.

Curated by Justin Calhoun, Leslie Hall and Chauna Lawson of the HRC's HBCU program, the syllabus will serve as an educational resource designed to honor, analyze and celebrate the joy, resilience, innovation and legacy of the Black queer community. The syllabus will be shared with nearly 30 historically Black colleges and universities, including Howard University, North Carolina A&T University, Prairie View A&M University and Shaw University.

Released in the summer of 2022, Renaissance was and continues to be a bonafide cultural phenomenon. A lovingly researched ode to the Black queer roots of dance music filtered through her intensely personal relationship with her late Uncle Johnny, the album captivated fans around the world and shined a much-needed light on the unsung movers and shakers of Black queer art and culture. The album won four Grammys - including a historic win for best dance/electronic album - housed a pair of Billboard Hot 100 top 10 hits in "Break My Soul" (No. 1) and "Cuff It" (No. 6) and spawned a record-breaking stadium tour and accompanying box office-topping documentary concert film.

From the economic impact of Beyoncé's silver fashion aesthetic to career boosts given to Black queer icons such as Kevin Aviance, Ts Madison and Honey Dijon, Renaissance proved itself to be much more than a standard LP. The HRC understood that there was a chance to make a real impact across education and activism through the lens of the record.

"There are ways that we can embed the impact of her lyrics into real life. It was serendipitous for this to happen," said Hall, director of the HRC's HBCU Program. "All the anti-DEI [diversity, equity and inclusion] laws were being introduced in the same states that she was doing concerts in. So, what would it look like for us to put our best thinking together to put articles, books, and movies to all of the songs on her album?"

On May 15, 2023 - just three shows into the Renaissance World Tour - Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis signed a bill banning DEI initiatives in public colleges. A month later (June 14, 2023), the governor of Beyoncé's home state of Texas, Greg Abbott, signed a bill prohibiting DEI offices and the hiring of DEI staff at public higher education institutions.

The juxtaposition of rising anti-queer sentiments and Beyoncé's Renaissance era anchors the syllabus' arrangement. The syllabus begins with a brief statement summarizing and reiterating the HRC's June 2023 LGBTQ+ State of Emergency statement, which they declared "for the first time following an unprecedented and dangerous spike in anti-LGBTQ+ legislative assaults sweeping state houses." The final pages of the syllabus contain both a reprint of Beyoncé's statement in memory of O'Shea Sibley - a young Black queer man who was murdered in Brooklyn back in July 2023 for simply voguing to Renaissance --and an additional statement from the HRC denouncing hate crimes.

"I think when you preface something [with] a state of emergency, you get the lay of the land and how important [the] syllabus is," said Calhoun, an HBCU program manager at HRC. "It brings a sense of urgency and realness to what's actually happening to queer youth, especially black Queer Youth."

Calhoun - alongside Hall and Lawson - began work on the syllabus in October 2023, dividing the album's 16-song tracklist into different themes and building hubs of additional secondary resources that expound on said themes. Despite Calhoun's initial concerns that breaking up the tracklist would "lose the flow" of the album - Renaissance is intentionally mixed and sequenced to emulate a seamless DJ set - he ultimately agreed that the approach helped the syllabus feel more like a lesson plan.

Six themes anchor the syllabus, ranging from "intersectionality and inclusivity" to "social justice and activism." Fan favorite tracks like "Alien Superstar" and "Thique" rope in the origins of the body positivity moment and iconic speeches from Barbara Ann Teer (including the one sampled on "Superstar") under the umbrella of "empowerment and self-acceptance." "Energy," the song behind the infamous "mute challenge," gets new readings by interloping essays from bell hooks and Patricia Hill Collins. Even less-famed tracks like "Move" (with Grace Jones & Tems) - which is paired with fascinating readings on the effects of colonialism on pre-colonial Africa and African perspectives on trans identity - get in on the scholarly fun.

Naturally, "Heated," a song that had an intense, immediate impact on Renaissance listeners with deep ties to the ballroom scene, served as the crux of the syllabus, according to Calhoun. "It was the model child for how a section of the syllabus should look," he explains. "There was so much to unpack in ‘Heated.' You have Beyoncé's Uncle Johnny, a Black gay man [living] during the AIDS epidemic - that lead to us [compiling different resources] about how we lost a generation of black gay men who were visionaries and people who paved the culture."

The syllabus is a thorough resource, one that continues the HRC's connection with Beyoncé's Renaissance era. On Aug. 27, 2023, the HRC, with support from Beyoncé's BeyGOOD Foundation, mounted the Equality Ball in Las Vegas, NV – an event that doubled as actual ball complete with a "Bring It Like Beyoncé" category and an educational resource pushing voter registration and sexual health awareness.

Although Parkwood Entertainment, Beyoncé's production company, did not authorize or give "direct sign off" on the syllabus ( Billboard reached out to representatives at Parkwood for comment), creating the resource was "a seamless process," according to Calhoun. "We knew amongst the team which authors and which folks to go to for certain things, I don't think any of us did many Google searches," said Hall. "We knew where to go to connect the right [resources] to one of her songs [and] build a course out of it. It is really a testament to well-read, well-learned people. I feel obligated to say that because we don't talk about ourselves like that. We're smart. It would take folks with Howard degrees to put something like this together."

From Pauli Murray and C. Riley Snorton to Audre Lorde and Sonya Renee Taylor, HRC's new syllabus continues Renaissance' s mission of highlighting, amplifying and re-centering Black and queer voices. Of course, this syllabus is far from the first piece of Beyoncé-inspired coursework in higher education. Following the release of the Grammy winner's culture-shifting album Lemonade in 2016, a slew of Beyoncé-themed classes debuted across higher education institutions - including the University of Copenhagen, Rutgers University, Arizona State University and the University of Texas at San Antonio.

For Hall, the rise of courses tackling social constructs through the lens of pop culture is only a good thing. "We're in a powder keg right now, and it's gonna pop around election time," he says. "We have to get information to folks in younger generations. We need them to be connected to what's really happening and a way to do that is through music and culture."

Nonetheless, Hall and his colleagues aren't oblivious to the fact that Renaissance exists in an intrinsically capitalistic context. "[It's] something I grapple with so much," notes Calhoun. "I had a teacher who once said that capitalism is the current structure and we have to live under it. This is how life operates. What is Beyoncé going to do to stop a capitalist structure? I just don't feel like we're at a point in the movement where we know what we want [people like her] to do."

While there may be no current plans for a Cowboy Carter syllabus - "being from the Mississippi Delta, that would be dope, but it depends on Beyoncé," quipped Calhoun - the HRC's Renaissance syllabus is the ultimate proof that the Renaissance is, in fact, not over.

"We've made a course that adds to scholarship about Black queer futures and specifically ballroom and uplifting history that's not as popular in academia," says Calhoun. "It really adds to the academic cannon of Black queer scholarship in a way we haven't seen before."

Zendaya might have two Emmys to her name, but she may have received her highest honor at the Challengers premiere in Los Angeles Tuesday (April 16) — and it came from Ms. Tina Knowles .

Beyoncé’s ‘Cowboy Carter’ Scores Second Week Atop Billboard 200

During a conversation with Variety on the red carpet, Knowles — who recently appeared in an Essence cover shoot in support of Beyoncé ‘s Cécred haircare line — gushed over the Euphoria actress and her evolution from child star to leading lady.

Zendaya, of course, is a card-carrying member of the Beyhive. She appeared in Queen Bey’s 2016 Lemonade film, paid tribute to her iconic “Crazy In Love” Versace look at the 2021 BET Awards and attended her blockbuster 2023 Renaissance World Tour alongside boyfriend Tom Holland .

Challengers , helmed by Academy Award nominee Luca Guadagnino, finds Zendaya starring as Tashi Duncan, a former tennis prodigy turned coach who must balance both a love triangle and the quest to break her husband’s losing streak as he prepares to play against his former best friend (who happens to be her ex-boyfriend). Co-starring award-winning actors Josh O’Connor and Mike Faist, Challengers opens in theaters April 26 with a score crafted by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross .

The film’s tennis themes also offer another bridge between Beyoncé and Zendaya. In 2022, the “Texas Hold ‘Em” singer earned her first Oscar nomination for “Be Alive,” an original song she co-wrote with DIXSON for King Richard , the Will Smith -starring biopic of Venus and Serena Williams ‘ father and coach, Richard Williams.

No stranger to the music world, Zendaya has landed several entries across the Billboard charts. On the Billboard Hot 100 , the thespian has logged six entries including 2013’s “Replay” (No. 40), 2016’s Chris Brown -assisted “Something New” (No. 93) and 2022’s “I’m Tired” (No. 53, with Labrinth ). Over on the Billboard 200 , Zendaya’s 2013 self-titled debut album debut and peaked No. 51.

Beyoncé effect: Cowboy Carter album puts Levi’s on fashion hotlist

Influence of the ‘culture shaper’ is a potential goldmine for the jeans brand, but effect won’t last forever, say observers

“Denim on denim on denim on denim,” sings Beyoncé on Levii’s Jeans, one of the standout tracks of her new album, Cowboy Carter. And it appears fans are taking the statement to heart.

In the week after the album’s release, the clothing company Levi Strauss & Co noted a 20% rise in footfall at stores across the US and a 20% increase in its share price . In the UK, John Lewis report that searches for “women’s Levi’s jeans” were up 263% since the record was announced.

Beyoncé is also endorsing double – or, going by her lyrics, quadruple – denim. She posted an image on Instagram of her wearing a pair of jeans with denim shirt and a denim bag. The Instagram account @databutmakeitfashion, which covers consumer behaviour in relation to style, report that the mentions of double denim were up 14% on social media since Cowboy Carter’s release.

Double denim – sometimes known as the Canadian tuxedo – has long been a divisive look. It’s either seen as the epitome of bad taste or perfect cowboy style. It’s the latter that Beyoncé is leaning into. Lil Nas X, Lizzo and Harry Styles have also experimented with cowboy style, and Pharrell Williams’s latest collection for Louis Vuitton had a western theme. Cowboy-core, meanwhile, has become an aesthetic on TikTok.

Levi Strauss have embraced the megastar nod – temporarily changing its name on Instagram to Levii’s as a tribute. Speaking on a conference call last week, the chief executive, Michelle Gass, emphasised the brand’s position at the heart of culture. “I don’t think there’s any better evidence or proof point than having someone like Beyoncé, who is a culture shaper, to actually name a song after us,” she said.

Arguably, both the singer and the jeans are American classics. “Levi’s, the original Americana brand, feels like a natural fit” for Beyoncé to reference, said Sheena Butler-Young, a senior correspondent at the platform the Business of Fashion. “It … has just the right mix of classic and affordable – but not cheap.”

Natalie Dickson is the head of women’s luxury brand partnerships at Flannels, a retailer the singer collaborated with on the 2023’ Renaissance tour.

“Beyoncé has a really unique ability to influence trends with her work,” said Dickson. “Brands can really capitalise on riding the wave of Beyoncé’s influence – as we’re seeing with Levi’s at the moment.”

In Summer Renaissance, the last track on her 2022 album, Renaissance, the star took on handbags . “This Telfar bag imported,” she sings. “Birkins? Them shit’s in storage.” Vogue Business reported searches for Telfar on the resale site The RealReal jumped by 85% on the day the album was released.

Butler-Young warns that the Beyoncé effect will not last for ever for Levi’s. To continue “revenue success”, she said, a key task is to “excite and court younger shoppers with marketing and products, which Beyoncé certainly helps, and broaden its appeal beyond a singular staple. Beyoncé, in many ways, placed the proverbial ball in their court, it’s up to Levi’s to execute.”

Beyoncé’s Daughter Rumi, 6, Breaks Musical Record Held by Sister Blue Ivy

Beyoncé’s youngest daughter rumi, 6, broke a record held by her older sister, blue ivy, 12, for her feature on cowboy carter ’s “protector.”.

Jay-Z and the "Texas Hold ‘Em" singer's younger daughter, Rumi , just snatched a new record—right from her older sister Blue Ivy . 

As Rumi—twin to brother Sir —was featured on the "Protector" track of Cowboy Carter , she became the youngest woman to chart on the Billboard Hot 100 in history at just 6 years old. 

Track four on Beyoncé's new country album, which currently sits at number 42 of the Billboard Hot 100 chart, features Rumi asking her mother, "Mom, can I hear the lullaby, please?" and surpasses the feature Blue, 12, had on Beyoncé's "Brown Skin Girl" in 2019, which peaked at number 76. Blue sang on the Lion King   movie track at just 7 years old. 

And while Rumi may have surpassed her older sister in being the youngest woman to ever chart on the Billboard Hot list, Blue still holds a record for being the youngest overall person to claim a spot on any Billboard chart . 

Blue was credited under the moniker "B.I.C." on Jay-Z's "Glory" in 2012, which features her coos just after she was born. The song did not hit Billboard's hot list, but it did chart on Hot Rap Songs and Hot R&B charts. 

Blue doesn't have a feature on her mom's latest album, but she is certainly still following in her footsteps. In fact, the tween often appeared on stage alongside her mom during the Renaissance tour as a backup dancer during "My Power." 

"I feel like now my mindset has changed," Blue said in the Renaissance concert film of continuing to join her mother on stage, despite criticism of her early performances. "I actually have to wake up in the morning and go to rehearsals, and I actually have to work hard."

In July 2022, Beyoncé thanked her kids ahead of her  Renaissance album release.

"I want to give a special thank you to Rumi, Sir and Blue for allowing me the space, creativity, and inspiration," she wrote on her website alongside this photo. "And a special thanks to my husband and muse, who held me down during those late nights in the studio."

The group posed together as The Proud Family for Halloween 2023.

Fans of Coldplay, Beyonce and Harry Styles were also targeted by scams last summer, Lloyds has said. The bank has issued a warning to fans after analysing reports of customers who have been conned since tickets went on sale in 2023.

Taylor Swift fans in the UK could have already lost more than £1m to con artists pretending to sell concert tickets for her Eras tour, a major bank has estimated.

Lloyds Bank has issued a warning to fans based on an analysis of purchase scams reported by its customers, as well as those of Halifax and Bank of Scotland, where Swift and/or the Eras Tour were referenced as part of the claim.

More than 600 Lloyds Banking Group customers have reported being scammed since tickets went on sale in July 2023.

Each victim lost £332 on average, though in some cases the loss was more than £1,000, Lloyds said.

With the figures based solely on its own customer data, Lloyds estimates there are likely to have been at least 3,000 victims across the UK - with more than £1m lost to fraudsters - based on its current account market share and assuming similar trends across other UK banks.

Fans aged 25 to 34 trying to buy sold-out tickets are most likely to be targeted, with many scams originating on social media, Lloyds warned.

Fans of Coldplay , Beyonce and Harry Styles were also targeted by scams last summer, it added.

Purchase scams involve tricking someone into sending money via bank transfer to buy goods or services that are fake, shoddy, or do not exist.

Ticket scams often involve fake adverts, posts or listings on social media, offering tickets or access to events which have already sold out as fraudsters know they can cash in on eager fans willing to pay much more by falsely claiming to have tickets for sale.

Swift's record-breaking Eras tour is set to gross more than $1bn (£813m), according to reports, with tickets for shows selling out as soon as they went on sale.

By the time it ends in December, the star will have played more than 150 shows across five continents.

'If it looks too good to be true, it probably is'

Lisa Webb, consumer law expert at Which?, said people buying gig tickets should use a credit card for anything costing more than £100, or PayPal, as both these methods can provide protection.

"We've heard from disappointed Swifties who have bought tickets on social media, only to realise it's a scam when their promised tickets never materialise," she said. "Unfortunately, if it looks too good to be true, it probably is.

"Don't be tempted to buy tickets from anyone other than authorised sellers, as your rights can be significantly reduced if something goes wrong."

Anyone who thinks they have fallen victim to a ticket scam should contact their bank and report it to Action Fraud or Police Scotland, she added.

Liz Ziegler, Lloyds Bank fraud prevention director, said: "It's easy to let our emotions get the better of us when we find out our favourite artist is going to be performing live, but it's important not to let those feelings cloud our judgement when trying to get hold of tickets."
