Chase & Status Lock In Dates For Upcoming 2024 U.S. Tour

Get your gun fingers ready because Chase & Status are coming to the United States.

The legendary UK drum and bass duo’s 2024 USA Tour will kick off on March 8, 2024, with a show at Los Angeles’ Hollywood Palladium hosted by Insomniac ’s Bassrush brand.

The month-long tour will see Chase & Status throw down in New York City, Denver, and another to-be-announced city before their U.S. journey ends at Believe Music Hall in Atlanta on April 13, 2024. Check out the complete list of tour dates below.

Chase & Status have been tearing it up throughout 2023. The pair dropped arguably two of the hottest drum and bass tracks of the year, “ Baddadan ” and “ Liquor & Cigarettes ,” amidst a busy but largely UK-based touring schedule that included Creamfields, a 16-week Ibiza residency with Worried About Henry and a now famously energetic Boiler Room performance.

Their new ten-track mixtape, 2 RUFF Vol. 1 , arrived last month to the delight of D&B fanatics around the globe, serving as a perfect catalyst for their forthcoming stateside endeavor.

Ahead of the U.S. tour launch in March, Chase & Status will headline a one-off New Year’s Eve show in Philadelphia before their sold-out takeover of London’s massive DRUMSHEDS venue in February.

Tickets for the Chase & Status 2024 USA Tour will go on sale this Thursday, December 14 at 10AM PT. Fans can sign up here for additional ticket sale information as it becomes available, and those in Los Angeles can secure tickets at bassrush.com .

Chase and Status Reveal “What Came Before” Tour for Summer 2023

UK stars Chase and Status announce their summer tour with stops across Canada and the US, and even some surprises in store.

The legendary UK dance music duo known as Chase and Status have been pioneers in their realm for over a decade. Most known for their drum and bass beats, the duo has six albums under their belt, and is always cooking up something new while touring major festivals and venues around the world. Chase and Status are never lacking recognition for their incredible work, having most recently won BBC Radio’s ‘Outstanding Contribution to Dance Music’ award in 2022.

Last summer, they dropped their latest album, What Came Before , with 13 tracks and six artist features. They’ve now announced their summer 2023 tour named after the album.The What Came Before Tour is hitting cities and festivals across the US and Canada from May through July. Kicking off the run at The Loft in Minneapolis , the duo will then head to play the first-ever Zeds Dead back-to-back Chase and Status sets at none other than EDC Las Vegas , as well as a solo set at Forbidden Kingdom .

A blurred date in June leaves one mystery show still to be announced, but a huge surprise revealed on the flyer is the tour date set for July 2 at Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado , assuring that they are indeed playing Zeds Dead’s Deadrocks . They’ll have to wait until the official Deadrocks lineup comes out, though, to know if it’s a solo set or another back-to-back with the Canadian duo.

Drum and bass icons Chase and Status have just announced a brand-new limited-run UK tour with just three dates and, lucky for us, Manchester is one of them.

Still one of the biggest electronic artists on the planet and comfortably up there with one of the best acts we’ve ever seen live, the production and DJ duo (Saul Milton and Will Kennard) are hitting the road early next year and they’ll be gracing the O2 Victoria Warehouse .

With the boys not only bringing a full live band along with them for the ride but also set to release their new mixtape, 2 Ruff. Vol 1 , the crowd will be treated to both the classics and all the new tracks to boot.

To be honest, we’d pay ridiculous money just to hear that new ‘Baddadan’ track in the flesh.

With the new record dropping on Friday, 27 October, just over a year after their previous and sixth studio album, What Came Before , the 10-track mixtape is set to feature massive collaborations with Flowdan, Arrdee, Stefflondon; Becky Hill, long-time friend and collaborator Takura, as well as many others.

Everything we’ve heard so far has been an absolute banger and we can only imagine how amazing these new tracks are going to sound in a live space as good as the legendary Victoria Warehouse.

I mean, these lads spent time here at university so they know full well just how special a venue this is.

Bringing along a number of special guests for each date — sorry, they haven’t let any info slip just yet — the London-based artists will be playing the Cardiff Utilita Arena and London Drumsheds in February 2024 before rounding things off with the main event: Manchester on Friday 1st March.

Local rap sensation Meekz is back, if you hadn’t noticed – he burst back onto the scene last week with a surprise gig with JD in Piccadilly Gardens.

The masked Manchester rapper is celebrating the release of his latest single Mini Me’s – and a handful of Mini Meekz posters appeared around town, pasted there by artist collective Pattern Up (then swiftly removed) last week.

Meekz continues to impress with his latest release, a track that’s quickly gaining popularity.

True to form, Meekz delivers not only sonically but visually, teaming up once again with KC Locke to create a stunning music video.

Their collaboration underscores the significance of music videos, reaffirming their lasting impact in the industry.

The video pays homage to their previous work, particularly ‘Like Me’, while also pushing boundaries with a post-apocalyptic CGI rendition of Manchester, reminiscent of scenes from GTA and Marvel movies.

This innovative approach demonstrates the remarkable synergy between Meekz and KC Locke, marking a new pinnacle in their collaborative efforts.

Following the premiere, Meekz treated fans to a memorable performance in Piccadilly Gardens, organised with JD, where he made a grand entrance by gifting miniature Air Max 95’s to his fans before taking the stage atop a large storage container.

I had the opportunity to speak with Meekz after the premiere, where he shared insights into his upcoming tape, ‘Tru’, slated for release on 24 May.

Additionally, he hinted at exclusive news related to GTA/GTA 6, leaving fans eagerly anticipating his future endeavours.

It’s clear that Meekz continues to innovate and redefine the game with each new project, and we’re excited to see what he has in store next.

KC Locke said: “In the time that the mainstream media is writing articles about the decline of the music video industry, swords and eagles are here to make a stand and show not only are music videos here to stay but they are more important than ever.

“This is a testament to community, bound by a shared vision, we rise and rise again, together, for the culture.”
