With their universally acclaimed 11th album But Here We Are stacking up Best of 2023 So Far accolades and singles “Rescued” and “Under You” cementing the band’s tally of more #1s than any other artist at Rock and Alternative Radio, Foo Fighters have confirmed a massive run of summer 2024 U.S. Stadium dates. The newly announced leg of the Everything or Nothing at All Tour will kick off with the band’s return to New York’s Citi Field for the first time since 2015 for a July 17 and 19 doubleheader and will see Foo Fighters host 12 rock ’n’ roll marathons at 10 stadiums, including a pair of shows August  9 and 11 at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles.

Foo Fighters are set to return to road in 2023 for their first extended live outing since the tragic passing of drummer Taylor Hawkins in March 2022 (get tickets here ). The group’s most recent performances came in late 2022 at the transatlantic tribute concerts dedicated to the late, beloved band member.

The upcoming tour includes a string of headlining shows, as well as festival stops at Bonnaroo and Boston Calling .

What Is Foo Fighters’ Next Tour?

The Foos have been cooking up something special for their first batch of live shows in 2023, and no, it’s not Dave’s charitable BBQ . The rock icons will play their first solo date this year in Gilford, New Hampshire on May 24th, followed by one-offs in Rogers, Arkansas on June 14th and Pelham, Alabama on June 16th.

Elsewhere, the band have been tapped to lead the top-line of festivals across the globe including Boston Calling, Canada’s Ottawa Bluesfest , Japan’s Fuji Rock , and Germany’s Rock am Ring . They’ll also play Bonnaroo; Sonic Temple in Columbus, Ohio; Outside Lands in San Francisco; The Town in Brazil; Sear.Hear.Now Festival in Asbury Park, New Jersey; Louder Than Life in Louisville; Ohana Festival in Dana Point, CA; and more throughout the year.

Update: Foo Fighters have announced a number of new headlining tour dates, including arena shows in Spokane, Salt Lake City, Virginia Beach, Phoenix, and El Paso.

Who Is Opening for Foo Fighters on Tour?

Taipei Houston will open Foo Fighters’ comeback show in Gilford, New Hampshire on May 24th, while The Breeders will serve as support at select dates on the band’s run of shows in August and September.

Foo Fighters 2023 Tour Grows Ever Longer With Six More U.S. Concerts

Foo Fighters have expanded their 2023 tour itinerary with six more headlining shows scheduled for later this summer and early fall.

Like the three headlining shows the band announced back in February, the new dates are all structured around previously-announced festival appearances. To start, the Foo Fighters will play three gigs in early August — in Spokane, Washington (Aug. 4), Salt Lake City, Utah (Aug. 8) , and Stateline, Nevada (Aug. 10) — before headlining Outside Lands in San Francisco. 

Then, on Sept. 19, in between sets at Sea. Hear. Now and Louder Than Life , the Foos will play a show at the Veterans United Home Loans Amphitheater in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Finally, after their Oct. 1 gig at Eddie Vedder’s Ohana Festival, they’ll play concerts in Phoenix, Arizona and El Paso, Texas on Oct. 3 and 5, respectively.

Foo Fighters Add Headlining Shows To First Tour Since Taylor Hawkins’ Death [Update]

[UPDATE 4/11/23]:  Foo Fighters have added a number of new headlining shows to their 2023 tour schedule. The Dave Grohl -fronted band’s upcoming slate of festival plays and amphitheater dates will mark its first official performances since the untimely death of drummer  Taylor Hawkins in March of last year.

Newly added headlining shows include August dates in Spokane, WA (8/4), Salt Lake City, UT (8/8), and Stateline, NV (8/10) featuring support from  The Breeders . Foo Fighters have also added a September 19th show in Virginia Beach, VA, an October 3rd show in Phoenix, AZ, and an October 5th date in El Paso, TX.

Even as the band’s 2023 tour schedule continues to fill up, it remains unclear who will man the drum kit when Foo Fighters finally take the stage. Speculation swirled in fan communities in late March when an article by the U.K.’s The Sun cited an “insider” who claimed that Matt Cameron (Pearl Jam) and Atom Willard (Angels & Airwaves) were the front-runners for the gig. In a later post, however, Cameron refuted the claim: “FYI the internet rumors are false,” he said. “I haven’t joined the Foos.”

The only Foo Fighters performances since the March 2022 death of Hawkins came as part of a pair of star-studded tribute shows in the drummer’s honor in London  and  L.A. in late 2022. Stand-in drummers for the Foos’ abbreviated sets at those shows included Taylor’s son, Shane Hawkins , Travis Barker (Blink 182), Josh Freese , Brad Wilk (Rage Against The Machine), Rufus Taylor (The Darkness), Nandi Bushell , and more.

[2/28/23]: Foo Fighters have announced their first headlining shows since the tragic death of drummer Taylor Hawkins in March 2022.

The band recently vowed to continue on in a year-end statement to fans, and since then, Foo Fighters have been named as a headliner for a number of major festivals including Bonnaroo , Boston Calling Music Festival , Sonic Temple Art & Music Festival , Germany’s Rock Am Ring , Japan’s Fuji Rock Festival , Sea.Hear.Now , and more. The band has now added some headlining shows to its 2023 tour schedule, which will be the group’s first performances since Taylor Hawkins’s death except for the two star-studded tribute shows in his honor in London and L.A. No announcement has been made as to who will fill in for the late drummer.

The newly announced tour dates include shows at Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion in Gilford, NH (5/24), Walmart AMP in Rogers, AR (6/14), and Oak Mountain Amphitheatre in Pelham, AL (6/16).

First, on the day of the presale or general onsale (whichever you prefer), login to your Ticketmaster account ( go to my account or sign in located on the upper right corner of the page ) at least 15 minutes ahead of the sale time. If you don’t have one,  create one now .

Be sure to add your billing info (aka credit card info) before jumping into the digital queue for a quick check-out. Once the presale starts, remain in the digital queue. Only use one browser window because using multiple browsers or devices and multiple accounts with the same phone number can result in errors. Trust, it’s happened to us before! Don’t refresh your page, do be patient, don’t leave your page, do get those tickets!

What To Do If Tickets Are Sold Out?

If tickets sell out, your other option is to buy them via online resellers like VividSeats or StubHub. When all else fails, we prefer these resell options because both offer a 100% Guarantee. You can also purchase resell tickets through Ticketmaster’s resell program. Just search for the concert or event you want to attend , and see if they have any resell tickets available. We recommend you compare the three options and find out which works best for you.

Alternatively, you can hit it old school style and show up at the concert when the box office opens and wish upon a star that they release more tickets, or hopefully, another concert-goer has an extra ticket to sell at face-value or even giveaway for free. Trust, this happens more often than not! We’ve given away many tickets to sold-out shows simply because our +1 couldn’t make it.

Also, more standard tickets are often released via Ticketmaster 1-3 days leading up to the show date. We’ve seen it with Beyonce , Taylor Swift , Arctic Monkeys and many more! It’s a secret gatekeeped by many, but if you’re reading this, now you know! So be sure to set your calendar notifications!

What Is Foo Fighters’ Next Tour?

Foo Fighters will headline Atlanta’s Shaky Knees Festival and Daytona Beach’s Welcome to Rockville , as well as playing a trio of shows in Dallas, Raleigh, and Charlotte. They’ll then head to the UK in June 2024 for a tour , with Wet Leg and Courntey Barnett joining on certain dates.

Once the UK tour wraps, the band will gear up for their North American jaunt, which will kick off on July 17th with a performance at Citi Field in New York . After that, they’ll head up to Boston, before cutting through the country en route to California, stopping in Cincinnati, Minneapolis, Denver, and more along the way.

All shows on the Foo Fighters 2023/24 tour are All Ages events.

This is a licensed, loud music event, staged over a long time and we do not recommend attendance by children aged 5 years and under.

We recommend you download and install the app before purchasing your ticket(s) but it can still be done after purchase. Yes! If you want to buy tickets as gifts, you'll just need to ensure you transfer the tickets from your Ticketek, Ticketmaster or AXS account to your friend's prior to the show date. This can be done via the share ticket feature in the Ticketek, Ticketmaster and AXS apps.

WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY TICKETS?

VENUE ENTRY

To gain access to the concert, you are required to bring your fully charged mobile phone or smartphone. You may be required to produce your email booking confirmation and a valid form of photo ID that matches the name on the confirmation.

Accepted forms of photo ID include: 

• Driver Licence or Learner Permit (from any country) including Digital Driver Licences
• Passport (from any country)
• KEYPASS Photo ID Card or Keypass in Digital iD
• Any other recognised Proof/Evidence of Age/Identity or Photo Card

All Acceptable ID must be written in English or if not written in English then accompanied by an official English translation. For a foreign Driver Licence not written in English, an International Driver Permit issued in the foreign country of origin (and including a photo of the licence holder and translation) should be presented with the Foreign Driver Licence.

Foo Fighters UK tour tickets: How to get a pre-sale code, when tickets are on sale and full list of 2024 dates

Following a storming set at glastonbury festival, the band have announced six major uk dates in 2024.

After delighting fans with a surprise set at Glastonbury’s Pyramid stage over the weekend under the alias The ChurnUps , the Foo Fighters have now announced a 2024 tour.

Named the Everything or Nothing at All tour, the band will play six major stadium dates throughout the UK in June 2024.

The tour will be in support of their 11th studio album But Here We Are , which was released at the beginning of June and which i ’s reviewer gave four stars out of a possible five , calling it “an exercise in sitting with the pain of loss… the songs are big in roaring, thundering sorrow”.

Informed by the tragic early death of Taylor Hawkins , the band’s drummer and close friend, who passed away suddenly in March 2022, and the death of frontman Dave Grohl’s mother shortly afterwards, the album contains the usual raging guitars and frenzied roars, but it also contains some slower moments, such as the tender “Show Me How”, which features Grohl’s daughter, Violet, on vocals.

Tickets for all six UK dates go on general sale at 9am BST on 30 June via Ticketmaster and See Tickets.

Presale tickets will go on sale from 9am BST on 28 June .

How can I get a Foo Fighters pre-sale code?

Fans who pre-registered and purchased the new Foo Fighters album But Here We Are before 8 June should have received a unique online code this morning to give them early access to presale tickets.

In addition, anyone who bought tickets to the cancelled 2022 UK world tour should also have received an unique online code granting them access to presale tickets from 9am BST on 28 June.

The band cancelled all dates on their worldwide 2022 tour following the death of Taylor Hawkins.

Their last performance as a band was on 20 March 2022 at the Lollapalooza festival.

A statement released across the Foo Fighters social media channels read: “It is with great sadness that Foo Fighters confirm the cancellation of all upcoming tour dates in light of the staggering loss of our brother Taylor Hawkins.

“We’re sorry for and share in the disappointment that we won’t be seeing one another as planned. Instead, let’s take this time to grieve, to heal, to pull our loved ones close, and to appreciate all the music and memories we’ve made together.”
