The Sea Tiger: Hawaii's deepest recreational diving wreck, resting in 123 feet of water with superstructure and deck depths of 60-90'. The YO-257 & San Pedro: Two ships laying side by side with depths ranging from 65-90'. Dived when conditions are ideal due to potential strong currents.

Try the all new beach snuba adventure at hanauma bay nature reserve, what is snuba diving.

SNUBA diving is a cross between snorkeling and scuba diving but easier than both. SNUBA diving does not require you to carry any heavy, bulky, or cumbersome gear. SNUBA diving provides you with a scuba diver's 3 dimensional underwater view and feeling of weightlessness without the fear often experienced by first time scuba divers. With SNUBA, you are always attached to the surface by a breathing tube connected to a small raft floating above you. At any point, a SNUBA diver can simply follow their tube to the surface and grab the rope handles on the raft for floatation. This allows the divers to learn and practice at their own pace all while not impeding other divers in the group. The depth is determined by the diver's comfort level whether its on the surface, 2 feet, or even down 20 feet deep; each diver is in control of their own depth. A SNUBA Oahu certified guide will give you a quick briefing and will be with you the entire adventure. SNUBA really is the one of the safest, easiest, and best ways to enjoy the beautiful underwater world and learn the basics of how to SCUBA dive. The SNUBA system works on the principle of surface supplied air from a standard SCUBA tank inside the SNUBA raft. There is a 20' long super strong air line hose from the tank that supplies the air to the diver and also enables the diver to effortlessly pull the SNUBA raft along on the surface above them. The air line hose connects into a harness that is buckled around the diver. This harness has a SCUBA (air on demand) regulator for breathing. Just like in snorkeling the SNUBA diver also has fins on their feet for propulsion and a mask on their head for viewing the underwater world. The SNUBA diver also uses a weight belt around their waist filled with soft style diving weights to counter the body's natural positive buoyancy.

2024 UPDATE: Beginning in January 2023, tour operators will have access to the commercial parking lot at Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve. We are now offering our Transportation Package to Hanauma Bay from your Waikiki hotels. Snorkel gear for marine life viewing is included with the transportation package • Waikiki Shuttle Pickup – 6:00 & 8:00 a.m.

If you have your own vehicle and plan on driving out to Hanauma Bay, reservations are Required Tickets can be reserved 48 hours in advance on-line starting at 7am • Tickets can sell out in 15 minutes Visit the Honolulu Parks & Recreation website to reserve them

Reserve your tickets 2 days prior to your snorkel date • Only 1400 tickets are available each day Hanauma Bay is closed every Monday and Tuesday
