Romeo Santos announces additional dates to his US tour

Due to popular demand, Romeo Santos has extended his his "Formula Vol.3” tour in North America.

The singer, known as “The King of Bachata,” announced that 22 more dates were added to his tour, which kicks off June 3 in Inglewood, California.

Santos first revealed his June four-city summer stadium tour on Valentine's Day, along with the news that he welcomed his fourth child.

“'Formula, Vol. 3’   was released Sept. 1. A special day, the day my first son was born,” Santos says in Spanish in an Instagram video he shared on Feb. 14. “In the album’s intro you can hear Alex Damian, Valentino and Solano. Surprisingly, nobody noticed in the background a subliminal message: the heartbeat of the new member of the Santos dynasty.”

“I present my fourth prince, Milano,” Santos continued, walking to his newborn’s crib and picking him up.

The singer concluded his Instagram video by saying, “Also, see you soon in the U.S.” and sharing the dates of his upcoming tour.

On May 20 and 21, Santos will perform at the Hiram Bighorn Stadium in Puerto Rico for the first time. On May 27, he will also take the stage at the iconic Coliseo for his sold-out show.

Back in July, the “Ella and Yo” singer performed on TODAY and shared his plans to release his album on his son's birthday.

When asked the artists he would like to collaborate with, he said he liked to keep the “surprise factor” on who he’s working with. “It’s a long list.”

Santos would go on to feature Rosalía, Justin Timberlake, Christian Nodal and more artists on his album.

Romeo Santos, actually named Anthony Santos, was born in July 1981. He is an American born in New York but actually sings in Spanish.

Romeo, Romeo where for art thou Romeo? Well ladies, Romeo is right here, but his actual name is Anthony....But don't let that put you off ladies, he is a beautiful multi-talented specimen.

The young American-Latin tongued devil is still finding his music loved by millions globally leaving him to touring extensively year upon year. He has been producing work since 2006 but actually only has two albums out under his name. Technically 3 if you include his live album. Not many artists or bands can say they have live albums under their belt but Romeo is someone who can. His soft Latino voice is pitch perfect live and he is renowned for his live shows. Wowing crowds and making girls faint at his feet. His live album was even recorded at the notorious Madison Square Garden in 2012.

He has work alongside pop sensations including Usher, Nicki Minaj and even Kevin Hart. Plus he has appeared in 'Fast and Furious 7' which features Hollywood top dogs Dwayne Johnson aka The Rock and Mr Vin Diesel.

His latest album Formula volume 2 is the best selling Latin album of this year, undoubtedly. It looks like it will hold that title too, leaving Romeo proudly standing at the top of the Latin tree.

Allstate Arena was sold out last night. Thousands of fans who manuevered through obscene amounts of traffic to demonstrate their love for the King of Bachata. There were those of us who not only crossed the city limits to see Romeo but state lines as well. I met a fellow Romeoista and Michigander who travelled from Kalamazoo to get to last night concert. We came to the consensus that the show was well worth the trip. Romeo waited until practically everyone arrived before starting the show. (Most of us were grateful since navigating through traffic, RR crossing, parking, ticket scanning and finding seats added an extra 30 minutes to my arrival time.) Romeo opened the show in grand fashion with snippets from his cad and vivid imagery upon the screen. As he ascended the stage Romeo delved into Inocente. The were marriage proposals among couple in the audience while a daring fan regaled the crowd with his knowledge of Romeo and Aventura songs. His thrust and gyrations put heavy emphasis on the sexual nature of his songs while his advice to the men highlighted the romanticism that permeates everything that Romeo represents. He paid tribute to his history with Aventura while reminding why the King Stays King with he hits from the Formula vol. 1 and 2. There a great deal of audience participation and interaction. The show closes out with a performance of Propuesta Indecente with a dark haired vixen he seduces on his "King-Sized" bed. The crowd spent most of the show standing almost mesmerized at the incredible scenario that had been developed and adapted for the Chicago fans. Incessant cheering and screaming could be heard coming from a devoted fans who were eager to sing along to every song the could. The arena was charged with an energy that contagious and hard to explain. It would have to be experienced.

I love Bachata and I happened to be traveling in Buenos Aires, Argentina a few years back and saw a flyer for a Romeo Santos concert the following day! I already was supposed to be leaving B.A. to move on, but decided there was no way I could pass up a chance to see a show like this, especially in Argentina!

I just knew the show was going to be amazing, and probably the highlight of my trip and I hadn't even been yet. That's how excited I was. The next evening, I made my way to the arena with 2 friends I had made over the past couple of days in B.A., who wanted to see Romeo as well. We were overly excited and when we entered the arena, it was fantastic!

The Argentinian crowd was busting with joy and that Latin American vibe that I love so much! When Romeo and his band came out on stage, I thought the building was going to explode! They started the first song, and the happiness and joy of the crowd was palpable! It was something I had never experienced before, and also my first Latin American concert!

Romeo literally blew it away that night, he has such a fantastic stage presence, and is just damn fun to watch! We danced the night away, with each other, random strangers around us and had the best time! I could never really put into words just how much fun this Romeo Santos concert was, but trust me, if I ever get the chance again, I'm there!!!

Anthony Santos known professionally as Romeo Santos, is an American singer-songwriter, record producer and was formerly the lead singer of Aventura. He is affectionately known as the king of Bachata, a genre of latino particularly popular in the Dominican republic. Romeo is a particularly charismatic and confident performer who takes his reputation seriously.

He knows how to whip a crowd into a frenzy from the moment he steps onto the stage and the latino beats of 'Innocente' begins. He is accompanied by DJs and dancers who help the star really conduct a fiery live show. The king of Bachata and also the king of cool, Romeo interweaves with his dancers during the complex routines of 'Amigo' and 'Cancioncitas de amor'.

The audience continues to dance throughout to the brilliant pop music and Santos keeps them enthused throughout the show. By the finale of 'Propuesta indecent' Santos has clearly demonstrated why he is so acclaimed and expertly laid claim to his throne.

Wow . I went to his show may 29 2015 at the El paso county coliseum and it was honestly one for the books he didn't perform like other artist he had so much interaction with the crowd it was unbelievable how energized the crowd was and he would have "moments" with people Luke he would have a conversation with them and he took this one girls phone and took Selfies it was really nice of him he would take a couple minutes to talk about how much he missed el paso and how we always sell out when he's here and even when he was with Aventura he's an excellent artist and I recommend you go see him when he comes near you if you (:

I truly enjoy Romeo and his music. I've been to his concerts before. I always leave with a smile on my face and a desire to listen to his music for the next week. It was my boyfriend's first time seeing Romeo live and he gained a new respect for him as a talent. Romeo is such a talented artist. Great concert with great guests. It also helped that I had phenomenal seats.

Romeo Santos Is Making Dreams Come True Onstage on His New Tour

Romeo Santos has officially kicked off the North American leg of his "Fórmula, Vol. 3" tour . On June 3, the 41-year-old Grammy-nominated singer performed at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, CA, for the first time in front of a sold-out audience of more than 30,000 fans — and it's clear why he's the "King of Bachata." Between his sensual lyrics and intoxicating stage presence, Santos had the audience captivated for two straight hours as he took fans on a literal journey of his discography, singing hit after hit.

Santos began his set with "El Pañuelo" before launching into a medley of songs that included "La Diabla," "Eres Mía," "Mar," "Cancioncitas de Amor," and "Odio." "For me, it is an honor, an immense pleasure to be with so many beautiful people tonight," Santos told the crowd in Spanish. "You guys could have been anywhere, anywhere. You could be elsewhere on a beautiful Saturday night, but you're here tonight with me, and that means a lot."

"I have a 25-year trajectory, thanks to you," he continued in Spanish. "First, thanks to God, and then, you all. Filling up arenas and filling up stadiums, you guys maintain the 'King of Bachata' in my musical genre, and I love you for that."

While no special guests joined Santos on stage this time around, he made sure the night was all about his fans as he blew kisses and showed off his signature booty shake several times throughout the night. At one point, the bachata crooner even gifted his custom leather jacket to a lucky audience member. "This jacket is very expensive, but to me, you are far more valuable than this sh*t," Santos told the fan as he took off the jacket and handed it to the fan.

Another highlight of the night was when Santos made another fan's dream come true by bringing him up on stage to perform "Ella y Yo," Aventura's hit song with Don Omar. "James, OK, you know all my sh*t. You know all my songs? You sure? Don't be f*cking lying! You got this?" Santos asked as he proceeded to test James by asking him to finish the lyrics to his songs. James passed his test with flying colors, and the two delivered a passionate performance that earned him a selfie with the "King of Bachata" himself.

Santos belted out nearly 40 songs on Saturday, closing out the night with an encore of "Sus Huellas" and "Propuesta Indecente." But the surprises didn't stop there. During the show, Santos also announced that he'll be returning to Inglewood, CA, on Oct. 8 to perform at the Kia Forum, marking his seventh time performing at the venue. Santos recently extended his tour by adding 22 more dates. His next show is on June 9 at Citi Field in Queens, NY, with the tour wrapping up in Toronto on Nov. 25.

What to Know If You Attend the "Fórmula, Vol. 3" Tour

The start time listed on the tickets is 7 p.m., but Santos doesn't actually hit the stage until 9 p.m. It's probably a good idea to get there early, though, if you want to grab a drink or some food. There really isn't much of a break once he hits the stage, so we suggest going to the bathroom before the show starts. Also, you'll probably be standing the entire night, so definitely wear comfortable shoes.

Superstar Romeo Santos is ready to hit the road again. The bachata singer has announced the dates for the U.S. leg of his Golden Tour. Santos is set to kick off the tour on February 15 in New York and will continue to seventeen other cities, including Chicago, Boston, Miami, Houston, Phoenix and Los Angeles.

Santos made the announcement on social media accompanied with a video that not only mentioned the dates but also asking his “romeistas” to help him to put together the set list. “I want to offer you the best show,” he said. 

Recently, Romeo Santos dropped his third single “Bella y Sensual” featuring Nicky Jam and Daddy Yankee .  So far, the song is at No. 18 on Billboard’s Hot Latin Song chart (dated Nov. 18).

The King of Bachata, Romeo Santos, surprises fans by announcing additional dates to his North American “Formula Vol. 3” Tour.  In addition, the global icon and barrier breaker was recently ranked by the prestigious Billboard Boxscore list as one of the highest grossing artists in the history of the music industry.

Romeo Santos is in the middle of his successful, “Formula Vol. 3,” World tour that has taken him to the largest and most influential stadiums in the United States, Puerto Rico, Europe and Latin America, all sold out.

Recently, through a video on his official Instagram account, Santos recalled the one-year anniversary of his emblematic multi-platinum album “Formula Vol. 3”, and today, took the opportunity to announce new shows on his “Formula Vol. 3,” World tour that has led him to break records and position himself as an icon of Latin music.

New shows have been added to the tour due to overwhelming demand in Charlotte, NC, Baltimore, MD , Boston, MA, Brooklyn, NY, Tampa, FL and Hollywood, FL.

Fans who want the first chance to secure pre-sale tickets for the added shows should register for the fan pre-sale code on Romeo’s website ForumulaVol3.com . The ticket pre-sale will start on Wednesday, September 13 at 10 AM EST, and tickets go on sale to the public on Friday, September 15 at 10 AM EST. The iconic King of Bachata, Romeo Santos, has announced an exciting reunion with his acclaimed group Aventura for a special tour across the United States, titled "Cerrando Ciclos". Romeo Santos Announces Four-Stop Stadium Tour, Birth of Fourth Child

Romeo Santos is celebrating the birth of his fourth child — and announcing a massive tour . On Valentine’s Day, the King of Bachata announced that he’ll take his Fórmula, Vol. 3 on the road across the United States as he celebrates the birth of his child.

“Fórmula. Vol. 3 came out on Sept. 1. A very special day: the birthday of my firstborn,” he says in a video posted to Instagram. “Surprisingly, I don’t think anyone noticed a special message on it: the heartbeats of the newest member of the Santos dynasty.”

He continued, “I present to you my fourth prince: Milano. By the way, I’ll see you guys soon across the United States. The king.”

Santos is set to open his tour in Los Angeles at SoFi Stadium on June 3, head to New York to perform at Citi Feild on June 9, then perform at Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium on June 16 before ending his U.S. run at Houston’s Minute Maid Park in Houston on June 24.

In 2021, Santos became the first Latin artist to sell out New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium.

The new tour is in support of Fórmula, Vol. 3 , which featured songs such as “ Solo Conmigo ,” “El Pañuelo” with Rosalía, “ Sin Fin ” with Justin Timberlake, and “Sus Huellas.” Ahead of the project, Santos  spoke to  Rolling Stone  about not being afraid to “experiment” with bachata.

Aventura announced it is joining forces for a U.S. tour called "Cerrando Ciclos."

This tour will mark the final time Romeo Santos joins Aventura on stage, according to a new release.

Over the weekend, reports surfaced about Romeo Santos suffering a heart attack ahead of Aventura’s reunion tour. Last night, the Dominican-American superstar responded to the concern his fans had over his health.

On Sunday (March 31) morning, multiple outlets were latching onto the unconfirmed reports that Santos, the lead singer of Aventura, had a heart attack. Most appeared to take the information from TikTok posts that were spreading the news like wildfire. According to one post, Santos had a heart attack while he was exercising. He was allegedly admitted to a private hospital in a “critical condition,” and his family was rushing to be by his side.

The news about Santos’ alleged heart attack soon reached his fans. Many of them expressed concern on X (formerly known as Twitter). One fan wrote, “What u mean romeo santos had a heart attack??? On social media, he’s known for keeping his private matters to himself. After seeing the rumor go too far, Santos released a rare statement about the alleged heart attack. He called out the people who were perpetuating a lie about his health in an emotional post on X.

“You do not have the power, much less the wisdom, to hurt me,” Santos wrote. “If you think they are going to return tickets to the tour because of this false news, then it is even more GROSS than I thought. Romeo Santos Denies Reports He Was Hospitalized After Suffering a Heart Attack

In his music, Romeo Santos often plays the role of the heartbreaker and the heartbroken - but after rumors circulated online that he had a heart attack… he was far from pleased.

In an X post Sunday night, the legendary bachata singer shut down rumors that he was hospitalized after suffering from a heart attack ahead of his tour with Aventura next month.

"You do not have the power, much less the wisdom, to hurt me," he wrote on X. "If you think that they are going to return the tour tickets because of this false news, then you're even more dumb than I thought ."

"If you continue thinking about how to destroy me, then you might go into cardiac arrest," he added. "May God rebuke this."

Santos coincidentally cleared up the rumors a day before April Fool's Day, after Latin American news outlets picked up stories based on social media rumors that claimed that he had a heart attack at his home.

Santos is set to go on an extensive United States tour with Aventura this summer, starting in Sacramento on May 1, before making stops in cities such as Houston, Chicago, New York, and Dallas.

The Aventura tour's name, Cerrando Ciclos, or Closing Cycles, and visuals seem to allude that the run of shows will be a farewell tour for the iconic group that reunited in 2020.

On Monday, Aventura also announced a new single , "Brido con Augua," or "I Toast With Water," set to be released at midnight. The track marks the group's first time since dropping " Volví ," their first song in 10 years, alongside Bad Bunny.
