ALTER BRIDGE Announces Fall 2022 European Tour With HALESTORM And MAMMOTH WVH

Rock titans ALTER BRIDGE have confirmed an extensive European tour this winter.

The "Pawns & Kings" tour will hit 25 cities over 18 countries, kicking off on November 1 in Hamburg, Germany and wrapping up on December 12 in London, England.

Bursting with riffs, ALTER BRIDGE is currently hard at work recording its seventh studio album, the follow-up to the highly acclaimed, 2019-released "Walk The Sky" , which brought the group the No. 1 spot on over a dozen charts around the globe. The band has been sharing behind the scenes photos from the studio on their social media to whet fans' appetites. With the as-yet-untitled album expected to be released later in 2022, those snapping up tickets for these dates will be the first in the world to hear the new songs live.

Joining ALTER BRIDGE as special guests are Grammy -winning rockers HALESTORM . The esteemed Pennsylvanian powerhouse will release their blistering new album "Back From The Dead" on May 6, which includes their latest single, "The Steeple" . Renowned as a spell-binding live music force, HALESTORM 's set is sure to be an unmissable treat.

Getting the party started each night are none other than MAMMOTH WVH , visiting some countries for the first time in support of their much-lauded, self-titled debut record. Rock titans ALTER BRIDGE are pleased to confirm an extensive European tour this winter. The ‘Pawns & Kings’ tour hits Manchester's AO Arena on 9 December.

Bursting with riffs, Alter Bridge are currently hard at work recording their seventh studio album, the follow-up to the highly acclaimed, 2019-released ‘Walk The Sky’, which brought the group the #1 spot on over a dozen charts around the globe. The band have been sharing behind the scenes photos from the studio on their social media to whet fan’s appetites! With the as-yet-untitled album expected to be released later in 2022, those snapping up tickets for these dates will be the first in the world to hear the new songs live.

Joining them as special guests are Grammy-winning rockers HALESTORM. The esteemed Pennsylvanian powerhouse will release their blistering new album ‘Back From The Dead’ on May 6th, which includes their latest single, ‘The Steeple’. Renowned as a spell-binding live music force, Halestorm’s set is sure to be an unmissable treat.

Based in Orlando, Florida, Alter Bridge formed out of the remnants of popular hard rock act Creed, offering a more melodic, metal sound than the post-grunge of their past act.

After Creed came to an end in 2004, members Mark Tremonti (lead guitar), Brian Marshall (bass) and Scott Phillips (drums) joined forces with ex-The Mayfield Four singer and guitarist, Myles Kennedy. Forming Alter Bridge, the band quickly got to work on their debut album, "One Day Remains," which found great success, eventually being certified Gold. The virtuosic guitar talent of Tremonti and the powerful vocals of Kennedy helped the album stand apart from Creed's discography.

After touring globally in support of the album, the band left their label, Wind Up, and moved to Universal imprint, Republic. Returning to the studio for their second effort, 2007's "Blackbird," Alter Bridge found success with the lead single, "Rise Today," finding widespread positive critical acclaim, displaying a greater songwriting influence of Kennedy.

In 2009, Creed reformed and Alter Bridge was put on the back burner by the members, with Kennedy joining Slash's touring band. Yet a year later, Alter Bridge was back in full force, returning with the album, "AB III." A live album of their stadium-sized performance, "Live at Wembley: European Tour" soon followed, which displayed their anthemic abilities. Praise continued for Alter Bridge with their fourth record, "Fortress," which was released to positive acclaim in 2013.

Live reviews

Reports that straightforward, no-frills hard rock is dead have been greatly exaggerated; if you need proof of that, Alter Bridge would be more than happy to provide it. They’ve only been going for a decade, and they’re hardly household names, but they’re already veterans of the UK arena circuit, and were second only to the mighty Aerosmith on the bill for this year’s final day of Download Festival. Frontman Myles Kennedy has a prodigious work ethic; his other job, if you can call it that, is fronting Slash’s band, and he tours extensively with both outfits. Despite everything he puts it through, though, his voice remains as fierce as ever; he has one of the finest deliveries in modern rock, with the kind of classic sound that allows him to pull of Guns n’ Roses classics with Slash as well as sound genuinely aggressive and forward-thinking on Bridge material. Last year, the band’s fourth record, Fortress, met with superb reviews, with an average of 81 on Metacritic; it also saw them solidify their reputation as one of the finest live acts in rock, with a UK arena tour enjoying a rapturous reception in October of last year. Kennedy will be back on Slash duty in those same huge rooms later this year, putting Alter Bridge temporarily on the back burner; rumour has it, though, that they’re already lining up UK dates for 2015.

Report as inappropriate

The Raven Age standing in for Sevendust gave an energetic but altogether forgettable performance.

Shinedown excelled with crowd pleasing hits and incredible stage presence connecting with the audience in a unique way.

But the crown goes to the main guys AB for most incredible and memorable performance, possibly of the year for most of us. Electrifying the crowd with the sheer magnitude of their presence they filled the gigantic arena effortlessly. They tore the atmosphere with heavy classics such as Cry of Achilles, tore our heartstrings with light acoustic numbers such as Watch Over You, brought us to the present with new fan favourites such as Native Son from their latest album Walk the Sky before sealing the deal with the immortal Blackbird and a beautiful encore including the very apt Godspeed.

These guys are already known for their humble and friendly manner on stage and off and this was greater emphasized with this engaging appearance. With such times as Myles' controlling the audience to 'Santa Tremonti' giving away his signature PRS guitar to the crowd member who 'went the wildest' during Pay No Mind this band cannot be more loveable nor revered.

The perfect way to end such a busy and exciting year for rock, Alter Bridge have quite nicely cemented their place as the greatest active rock band of our times.

Wow, Alter Bridge were amazing to see live. My wife and I got the VIP upgrade. There was a delay for the VIP part (about 1.5 hours late which at the time was annoying), but after that it was fantastic. The meet and greet part was pretty quick, but shaking hands with my idols was amazing. The photo with the band was also pretty quick so make sure you have your game face ready (I sort of look like a dork with a smile from ear to ear). Our venue nearly forgot (or did forget) about the sound check, but then we ended up getting in to hear it before the opening band (Like A Storm) came onstage. Sound check was great as well. Myles and the band had a bit of a laugh with us here.

The opening band Like A Storm were really good. They had a short set list, and also played T.N.T from Australian rock heroes AC/DC which got the crowd involved.

When Alter bridge came out, the crowd went crazy. They are amazing entertainers, and really know how to put on a good show.

I would definitely go to another Alter abridge show, and would also do the VIP upgrade again.

I've seen Alter Bridge several times now since discovering them 4 or 5 years ago and this was the best of the lot. They are a band currently at the top of their game as regards performing. The new album is great and it's good to see Myles playing more lead. He's a great lead player. But then there's Tremonti, who is absolutely incredible. His playing is effortless. Between them they are among the best front pair out there today in my opinion.

Some different songs in the set list this year and one or two of my favourites didn't make it in, but overall it was bloody great. Kennedy is a perfect gentleman and all round nice bloke and whilst he might not run around like Axl Rose, he is engaging and interacts well with the crowd.

This show also had Like A Storm ,Gojira and Volbeat on the bill, so an incredible night's entertainment. 10/10

What can I say...... A fantastic evening of live music topped off by Myles & co..... I watched them 2 weeks earlier in Manchester which I'd have to rate as 7 out of 10..... But seeing them in the first direct arena at Leeds I'd rate at 9 out of 10...... Only negative for me was having gojira as one of the support acts whose music genre was completely at odds with the rest of the other bands...... Which inc " like a storm" & "volbeat" who were fabulous and could probably healined the venue..... Excellent value for money and would encourage all those fledgling rockers to go see these bands.....

Das Konzert in Zürich war super. Gute, abwechslungsreiche Auswahl der Stücke, die Musiker kamen sympathisch rüber, wechselten immer die Aufstellung (ausser natürlich der Drummer). Besonders gefallen haben mir die Momente, wenn Kennedy ein gutes Solo begann und es dann Tremonti vollendete. Im Gegenzug hat Kennedy Tremonti dann natürlich bei der Stimme übertrumpft, ohne dabei jemand flach herausgekommen wäre. Im Gegenteil, Tremonti sollte noch öfter Singen! Sound und Lautstärke waren richtig, ausser dass Tremontis Gitarre bei seinen Solis etwas untergegangen ist. Das Komplex 457 hat als Location für eine gute Stimmung gepasst. Eine grosse Band in einem fast intimen Rahmen.

Well, the line up was pretty great. Not a fan of anything as heavy as Gojira but the others were great.

Alter Bridge rattled through a large catalogue of tracks with great professionalism and style. There was only one problem - the sound quality. Frankly it was crap. I've seen other bands at Leeds First Direct and never had this problem so can only assume it was the setup on this occasion. Overly loud and distorted. Don't get me wrong, I have no problem with loud, but there was no clarity at all. Myles's vocals were lost in a bass ridden mess of sound, and Mark's lightening work on the frets was frankly lost.

Really disappointed as I'd so looked forward to this concert.

Alter Bridge was awesome. They put on a kick ass show. The meet and greet however, feels a little bit impersonal. The access to the soundcheck is awesome and I loved that part, but meeting the band was super quick, like less than a minute. I didn’t expect much, but not even a handshake? I just decided to enjoy it for what it was. They were awesome dudes and I will see them again.

I saw them at the Wiltern in L.A. The staff was nice for the most part. When my friend needed medical attention because she full blown passed out and fell on the floor, they weren’t very prepared, but the medic was a very nice guy who I 10 out of 10 would see if I was dying.

It wasn’t my first AB show and for sure tours after new album pay the need to play new not so famous songs.

And for sure Myles Kennedy (have seen him many times also with Slash) isn’t a “showman”....

But he’s just one of the best singer in the story of rock and Tremonti has written and play “hard” so beautiful songs that the audience seems ecstatic .. and honestly me with them. The audience chorus after “open your eyes” made Myles thrill to the point of making him say that he was experiencing one of his most beautiful performances.

Would definitely like a refund or another show put on WITHOUT the glaring IN YOUR FACE lights throughout the concert. I came to see the band perform...not just hear them which I could have done at home listening to their albums. Many of the other concert goers had the same complaint. Very disappointed that the lights shined on us and not the performers. I have attended many of their past concerts from the beginning of their existance and totally enjoyed them but this was a waste of money and irritating to say the least. Shame on you Alter bridge!

CONCERT REVIEW: Alter Bridge Take New Album ‘Pawns & Kings’ To Amsterdam

Alter Bridge are one of the steadiest bands in the scene. Every 3 years, the band releases a new album, followed by a very extensive tour taking on atleast the US, UK and Europe to promote the release. After this tour, the band members focus on various other musical or otherwise projects in their life, to then create a new album and do the cycle all over again. This time, Alter Bridge are back in Amsterdam to promote the release of their new record Pawns & Kings and we were stoked for their return!

Alter Bridge did not come alone. For these massive shows in Europe and the United Kingdom, popular band Halestorm was direct opener. Besides being away for a few years being a valid reason for a new tour in Europe, Halestorm have also released their new album Back From The Dead this year

Halestorm are one of those bands that you’ll have to see at least once and honestly, preferably once. We have seen Halestorm half a dozen times throughout the years and we have been looking at the exact same show since 2013. This band is so talented on stage and off, but in my humble opinion they have to spend some time and effort into leveling up their live show.

Vocalist Lzzy Hale ’s voice has this immeasurable strength, which is one of the key ingredients in the success formula that is Halestorm, alongside drummer Arejay Hale’s entertaining drum solo that unfortunately has stayed about the same too throughout the years. With songs like I Miss The Misery and Love Bites (So Do I) and the epic Familiar Taste Of Poison you can’t miss and all things considered, they were a very strong opening act.

After the release of their brand new album Pawns & Kings , Alter Bridge are flying across the globe again for some big shows. Where they usually take on the AFAS Live , the band wanted a change of scenery and swapped to the Ziggo Dome , also because the AFAS Live was booked this same evening for the Powerwolf show. 

Just like Halestorm , Alter Bridge ’s primary focus during a liveshow is to properly play their  technical music. With Myles Kennedy ’s iconic voice and Mark Tremonti ’s signature sound, you can’t really go wrong. Playing a very mixed setlist, with 6 out of 7 albums being featured with a slight focus towards the new album Pawns & Kings and the band’s first album One Day Remains .

Personally, we were very pleased with 3 live renditions from the band’s 2013 album Fortress , as Waters Rising showcases Tremonti’s vocal skills alongside his usual guitar duty and the start of Cry Of Achilles live is just an absolute delight. Besides their musical talent, Alter Bridge brought some CO2 cannons and big screens, but contrary to the shows we witnessed earlier this week in the same venue ( Nightwish , Evanescence & Within Temptation ), the music itself was the only key ingredient.

Alter Bridge don’t change too much, on albums or their approach towards live shows, but with a new album and new tour every 3 years, it is enough to keep the fans entertained and coming to shows, us included. ALTER BRIDGE  have announced a headlining European tour!

Set for November and December this year, the tour will see the hard rock titans touring across mainland Europe and the UK in support of their as-of-yet untitled upcoming new album (the follow-up to 2019’s  Walk The Sky ).

Support for the tour comes from HALESTORM and MAMMOTH WVH . Tickets for the tour will be available from Friday, April 29th and can be purchased here .

Alter Bridge and Mammoth WVH announce massive US tour

Wolfgang Van Halen's Mammoth WVH will join Alter Bridge on the 30-date North American trek in 2023 following extensive European tour

Alter Bridge have announced a North American tour for early next year, and Wolfgang Van Halen 's Mammoth WVH will be joining them on the bill. Tickets go on general sale on Friday.

The run of 30 dates is divided into two legs, and will begin at the Seminole Hard Rock in Tampa, Florida, on January 25. The first leg will wrap up at The Riviera Theatre in Chicago on February 18, before the tour resumes on March 10 at the Downstream Casino Resort in Quapaw, OK. The final show will take place at the Yaamava Casino Resort in California on April 1.

The opening act on the first leg of the tour will be Christian rockers Red, while the Atlanta-based Pistols At Dawn will join up for the second leg. 

"Looking forward to these tours guys," says Van Halen. "Thank you so much for having us!"

The North American shows take place after Alter Bridge complete a European schedule with Halestorm and Mammoth WVH later this year. Full dates below.

I have had nothing but excellent experiences here at Made in Japan and I will be a customer for life! Great customer service, quality work, trustworthy and dependable employees who care deeply about providing a good experience. I was given a ride to work once when I had to take my car in unexpectedly! They offer coffee, fruit, and snacks, and the overall ambiance in the waiting room is wonderful. I highly recommend making this your go-to auto body shop.

first time going here to replace tires and rebalance/alignment, the staff is friendly and is in contact with you throughout service let me know my brakes are due for replacement and didn't pressure me into buying their tires/any extra service Rates are a steal for the service you get!

Excellent friendly service at a fair market price. My BMW M series was running hot and I called Made in Japan, USA, Europe at the suggestion of a Friend. They understood the urgency and made the appointment happen immediately. They quickly ran the diagnostics and provided the Necessary insights to help make a cost effective quick decision to replace the Thermostat. The team communicated back to me every step of the way giving me the confidence I made the right choice in selecting this high quality automotive repair establishment. Family owed and trusted. I won't take my vehicle anywhere else.

Simple, easy, and cost effective. Those are 3 things I continually look for when it comes to any type of service. I dread going to Toyota dealerships because it's the opposite of this in every way. Finding a shop that provides this is rare, and MIJ is one of those unicorns! Moe and staff are very friendly and super helpful. They were able to take me in the same day that I called, provided the exact service I was looking for, and did not try and sell me on additional unnecessary services. They even tried to call me several times (apparently there was a network outage during this time and couldn't get a hold of me) to let me know the vehicle was ready. Usually with other shops I'm the one who has to call to get an update. A+++ for this shop. I will be back, and I've already recommended them to several of my friends. Cheers!

I noticed some strange noises coming from my jeep a couple weeks ago and I decided to take it in to have it assessed. Following a quick inspection shortly after I brought it in, I was informed about what was happening and which parts would need to be replaced. I appreciated the transparency and advice given when picking which parts to buy. My car was ready to go early the next day. Arshan and the team were very helpful, responsive and professional. I would highly recommend this family-run shop to anyone in the area. With the recent outbreak of COVID-19, I was not in the slightest worried as everyone in the shop wore masks and kept a good distance.

I was visiting the area and started having serious engine issues on the freeway. I took it to another mechanic who was unable to fix the issue. Brought it here, my car was ready to go in 3 hours. On top of that, he called me to lower his initial quote by several hundred dollars as he was able to do the work with less labor time than he expected.

A local shop with an excellent service, kind and friendly staff and quality workmanship

They did a great job on my car! Price was very fair! Customer service was exceptional! If your car has a problem, I highly recommend giving them a call.

If you are looking for an honest mechanic shop this is the place to go. They didn't try to oversell me anything and made sure that my car is running perfectly again. Very fairly priced and the customer service was beyond what was expected. I'm definitely going to be a regular at this place!

A few weeks ago my car started making this noise that I was unfamiliar with, so naturally I just turned the volume of my music up when driving because I was scared that it would cost an arm and a leg to fix. I drove it that easy until it got much worse and I finally decided to take it to a mechanic to get it checked out. When I took it to this place they diagnosed it quickly, gave me a good price to get it fixed, and they didn't do that thing that mechanics do when they tell you that you have 10 other things wrong with your car and that you should get them all fixed now. So this place was 5 star service by any sense of the term! 100% going back the next time I have a problem with my car.
