Arctic Monkeys have announced a whole stack of tour dates for the UK and Europe in 2023.

The band - who released their latest album The Car in October - will play a series of dates in Germany, Austria, Sweden, Norway, France and the Netherlands in April and May next year, alongside huge summer shows in the UK and Ireland.

They've since added extra dates in Italy, Spain and Luxembourg, with tickets set to go on sale this week.

Arctic Monkeys add new European dates to 2023 world tour

The Hives and Willie J Healey will support the band at the extra gigs next summer

Arctic Monkeys have added new dates to their 2023 European headline tour – find details of the new gigs and ticket information below.

The band are touring the world next year in support of recent seventh album ‘ The Car ’, with European dates with Inhaler already announced for April and May .

Now, the band have detailed new shows in Luxembourg, Spain and Italy for July 2023, with support coming from The Hives and Willie J Healey .

The new gigs kick off in Luxembourg at the Luxexpo Open Air venue on July 4, before playing Madrid’s WiZink Center on July 10.

Gigs in Milan (as part of Milan on July 15) and Rome (for Rock In Roma the following day) will then follow.

The band will play a series of shows in Germany, Austria, Sweden, Norway, France, and the Netherlands in April and May of 2023. After the release of their new album ‘ The Car ‘ on October 21st, 2022.

Arctic Monkeys kick off their European concerts in late April and early May 2023, visiting Germany, Norway, Sweden, France, and other countries. This European tour will also begin on April 24 in Austria and will conclude on May 9 with a performance at Paris’ Accor Arena, France. Inhaler band will provide support to them in every European concert.

Tour tickets go on sale on October 14th, 2022 at 10 a.m. CEST.

Alex Turner also talked about the album and the band tour:

“It probably does feel about 20 years ago, but that’s an interesting one, isn’t it? Because sometimes you feel like you could walk through a door and be right back there.

I’m trying to scratch a little bit of that feeling here on the new record. It feels like a long time ago. But it can be right behind you. Something reminds you and it takes you back.

There is a lyric on Hello You that says, ‘I could pass for 17 if I just get a shave and catch some zzzzs’. Maybe that’s barking up that tree a little? Well, a lot. I’m thinking about going to the snooker club with my granddad and it feels like we were just there. But, wait a minute, there’s all this time in between.”

Turner’s thoughts about ‘The Car’ album:

“At the time it happened very quickly and was a shock to the system. We topped the charts for the first time and everything became quite different very quickly.

But there was always a feeling that this could be over in a few months: the bottom is going to fall out any minute. I’m thinking about you mentioning The View From The Afternoon. We have been playing in these last few shows when I’m doing that, it feels like it would take more than a shave and a sleep to feel 17!”

However, Arctic Monkeys are currently ongoing a North American tour .

The four-piece also appeared as musical guests on a recent episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon program where they played ‘Body Paint.’ You can watch the performance below!

Arctic monkeys announce 2023 european tour, 10th october 2022.

Following news of their forthcoming album ‘The Car’ , out on the 21st of October , Arctic Monkeys today announce their European tour dates.  Shows will take place in April and May 2023, with special guests Inhaler. 

Tickets will go on sale at 10am CET on Friday the 14th of October.

Along with playing a slew of recent music festivals, including Primavera Sound and Life Is Beautiful , the new concert dates mark the first time the band has toured since 2019.

Arctic Monkeys is coming back to the U.S.

The English rock band has announced a new North American tour taking place in the fall of 2023 in support of their new album, The Car . The run of dates kicks off August 2023, and will see the band performing at stadiums and theaters across the U.S. — including two nights at New York City’s Forest Hills Stadium. Fontaines D.C. will also perform on the tour as a special guest.

The band previously announced tour dates across the U.K. and Ireland for the summer of 2023. The four-piece group is currently gearing up to release their seventh studio album, The Car , on Oct. 21.

Registration for the North American tour’s presale is open now. The Ticketmaster Verified Fan Presale begins Oct. 6 at 10 a.m. local time. General onsale kicks off Friday, Oct. 7 at 10 a.m. local time.

Arctic Monkeys Announce 2023 North American Tour

Arctic Monkeys have announced a string of North American dates behind The Car . The run begins in August 2023, and includes two nights at New York’s Forest Hills Stadium and one at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California. They’ll be supported by Fontaines D.C. Check out the dates below.

Last week, the band shared a second single from The Car , “ Body Paint ,” along with a video directed by Brook Linder . The band also played the song on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The Car , which was produced by the band’s longtime collaborator James Ford, also includes lead track “ There’d Better Be a Mirrorball ” and a song called “ I Ain’t Quite Where I Think I Am ,” which the band has been playing live this year.

The Car follows 2018’s Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino , which came five years after Arctic Monkeys fifth album, AM . That record hit No. 1 on the UK charts, as did all of its predecessors. Since Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino , Arctic Monkeys have shared the B-side “ Anyways ,” performed for Austin City Limits , and released a live album for charity, recorded at London’s Royal Albert Hall.

Arctic Monkeys have announced a North American tour for Summer 2023 with support from acclaimed Irish band Fontaines D.C. The tour includes two nights at New York’s  Forest Hills Stadium and a stop at The KIA Forum in Los Angeles. Fans can register HERE for Ticketmaster Verified Fan Presale now through October 4th at 10am EST. Presale will begin October 6th at 10am local and general onsale starts Friday, October 7th at 10 am local on ticketmaster.com.

Last week, Arctic Monkeys announced a UK stadium tour for Summer 2023, released “ Body Paint ” - the second song to be released from their forthcoming 7th album The Car (October 21st on Domino) -  and returned to the stage of 30 Rock’s Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon for their first TV performance since 2019’s Austin City Limits.
