Une tournée des plus grands hits d’Avril Lavigne ? On signe de suite ! Et justement, la chanteuse canadienne vient d’annoncer une série de concerts centrée sur ses morceaux les plus cultes. Petit bonus, elle prendra la route avec Simple Plan et All Time Low.

Au programme, près de 27 dates annoncées sur l’été – dans le nord des Etats-Unis. Peut-on espérer une venue en France ? Pour l’heure, il faudra faire preuve de patience ! Côté titres, le communiqué de presse annonce des morceaux aussi cultes qu’intemporels dans la setlist : ‘Complicated,’ ‘Sk8er Boi’ ou encore ‘Girlfriend’ sont ainsi attendus.

Produced by Live Nation, the 27-date tour will see Avril perform her biggest songs to-date including the RIAA 3x platinum-certified “Complicated,” the 2x platinum-certified “Sk8er Boi,” the 2x platinum-certified “Girlfriend,” the platinum-certified “Here’s To Never Growing Up,” and many more from her record-smashing catalog.

The Avril Lavigne: The Greatest Hits tour kicks off on Wednesday, May 22 in Vancouver, BC at Rogers Arena, with stops in Las Vegas, Phoenix, Toronto, Charlotte, Chicago and more before wrapping up on Monday, Sept 16 in Edmonton, AB at Rogers Place. Let’s rage on. In the last year, early-aughts rockers such as Paramore , My Chemical Romance, and Fall Out Boy escaped from their cocoons to bring forth the emo renaissance. While certain acts didn’t prosper long enough to witness this pop-punk revival, there are plenty of artists reintroducing their discography to the mainstream. The latest star? Avril Lavigne. After re-embracing her emo-rock origins in recent years, the singer is onto the next “ best damn thing” — she’s heading back on the road.

On Jan. 22, Lavigne surprisingly announced her Greatest Hits tour on Instagram. This excursion will see her performing staples from all seven of her studio albums, and she won’t be alone in honoring her career. Other notable bands such as Simple Plan, All Time Low, Royal & The Serpent, and Girlfriends will also appear on tour. Clearly, the emo scene will outlive us all.

“This is gonna be too much stupid fun celebrating my career with my friends and fans. Who’s coming? What songs do you want to hear?” she wrote on the post, which features throwback photos of her with the multiple openers.

This exciting announcement comes nearly two years after Lavigne celebrated the 20th anniversary of her debut album, Let Go . The album has several well-aged hits, including “Complicated,” “Sk8er Boi,” “I’m With You,” and the underrated “Losing Grip.” She also included an angsty rendition of Kelly Clarkson’s 2004 single, “Breakaway,” on the re-release, proving her vault tracks are just as iconic as her well-known ones.

Avril Lavigne Is Heading on a 'Greatest Hits' Tour This Summer

Calling all “sk8er bois.”.

Avril Lavigne ’s reign over the pop-punk genre. At 39 years old, Lavigne has been in the music industry for the greater half of her life and along the way, she’s amassed a following of diehard fans.

The singer will now be paying homage to those who have stuck with her over the years with a Greatest Hit tour. Produced by Live Nation, Lavigne will be making stops in 27 cities across North America.

Avril Lavigne Brings “The Greatest Hits” Tour To Pine Knob Music Theatre Saturday, September 7, 2024

(DETROIT – January 22, 2024) – Today, eight-time Grammy®-nominated diamond-certified icon Avril Lavigne announced her 2024 headline tour across North America, Avril Lavigne: The Greatest Hits. Produced by Live Nation, the 27-date tour will see Avril perform her biggest songs to-date including the RIAA 3x platinum-certified “Complicated,” the 2x platinum-certified “Sk8er Boi,” the 2x platinum-certified “Girlfriend,” the platinum-certified “Here’s To Never Growing Up,” and many more from her record-smashing catalog.

The Avril Lavigne: The Greatest Hits tour kicks off on Wednesday, May 22 in Vancouver, BC at Rogers Arena, with a stop at Pine Knob Music Theatre with special guests Simple Plan and Girlfriends on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at 7 p.m. Pine Knob Music Theatre is presented by Proud Partners United Wholesale Mortgage, Trinity Health and Ally.

Tickets go on sale Friday, January 26 at 10 a.m. at 313Presents.com , LiveNation.com and Ticketmaster.com .
