All three Boomerang vessels are fully equipped with large bars, bathrooms, large top decks, indoor main cabins, dance floors, seating, catering space, and room to lounge.

• BOARDING LOCATION:  Our cruises exclusively depart from and return to the Georgetown Waterfront. This picturesque location is nestled in front of an array of iconic waterfront bars & restaurants, including Nick’s Riverside Grill, Tony & Joe’s, Sequoia’s, Fiola Mare, Farmers & Fishers, and Guapo’s. The closest street address is 3100 K St NW, but you will be meeting our vessel in front of Nick’s Riverside Grill. Please note that the Georgetown dock is a shared space, and commercial boats are limited to a 15-minute stay. To ensure a smooth departure, it’s crucial that all guests arrive on time. Regrettably, we are unable to delay the boat’s departure for late arrivals.
• CATERING/FOOD: For private charters, clients have the flexibility to collaborate with any external catering company, as our vessel does not feature a galley or kitchen facility. If needed, we are more than happy to recommend our preferred caterer. Food should be pre-prepared and can be kept hot using Sterno if the caterer prefers this method. Additionally, guests are welcome to bring their own food platters, pizzas, or snacks without the need for an external caterer. Your culinary options are open to your preferences, budget, and convenience.
• BEVERAGE OPTIONS: When booking a private charter, our inclusive pricing covers a premium open bar featuring a selection of unique cocktails, seltzers, beer, wines, sodas, juices, and water. If preferred, we can keep our bar closed, offering only water. Alternatively, you have the option for a ‘soda, juice, & water only’ open bar experience. Kindly note that outside alcoholic beverages are not permitted on board.
• MUSIC:  We often recommend charter guests hire a professional DJ for their cruise, since this is typically the most fun. The DJ would bring their own console and RCA cord and play music through our sound system.  We are happy to suggest our preferred DJs who have the advantage of being familiar with our boarding location, crew, and audio set up. Guests also have the option to make their own custom playlist using Spotify, which can be played throughout the vessel via Bluetooth.
• OUR FLEET: Boomerang offers a selection of three remarkable vessels for you to choose from. I f you are a famous person, I have a recommendation for you. Have you ever considered inviting Tom Cruise to your birthday party? I can hear your protestations now: “He has a weird, intense vibe! He’s going to corner my loved ones and talk about jumping out of airplanes! His personal life kind of freaks me out!” All of that is valid, but I must provide a counterargument: He might start break-dancing, and wouldn’t that be fun to see?

That was the scene at Victoria Beckham’s 50th-birthday party, where Cruise reportedly busted several moves on the dance floor. The Daily Mail reported that Cruise, wearing full black tie, “stunned many when he demonstrated a series of break-dancing moves, culminating in the splits.” One source told the British tabloid, “People were absolutely dumbfounded.”

As they should’ve been! Cruise is 61 years old, after all. He makes a big deal out of doing all his own stunts still, but break-dancing is different. Where did he learn to do that? Ethan Hunt has never had to windmill his way through a sea of bad guys at a Berlin club.

It seems that Posh Spice’s birthday party was the place to be this weekend. In addition to Cruise showing off his moves, there was a Spice Girls reunion ! This was the first time all five women have been seen together since 2012, and they didn’t disappoint. David Beckham shared a video of the girl group doing the choreo for “Stop.” The soccer star must have been too busy picking his jaw up off the floor when Cruise was break-dancing to get a video of that .

Tom Cruise breakdancing, a Spice Girls reunion and tons of A-list celebrities gathering in one location have social media and the general public in awe over Victoria Beckham's 50th birthday party.

Beckham, who celebrated half a century over the weekend, posted about the luxurious soiree Sunday on Instagram.

But some of the most buzzworthy moments went intentionally unrecorded.

"I don’t think I’ve ever felt as loved as I did last night," Beckham's post said. "Thank you all for coming from near and so far!! X"

In the post, Beckham shared pictures of her with actor Eva Longoria, celebrity Chef Gordon Ramsay, her husband, soccer star David Beckham and some of the couple's children.

In another Instagram post, Beckham shared a picture of her and the four other members of the English pop group, the Spice Girls.

"The best gift to be reunited!! Thank you to all my friends and family for celebrating with me. Kisses! xxx," Beckham's post about the Spice Girls said.

Not included in either post were other famous attendees who came to celebrate with the Beckhams at Oswald’s, a private member’s club owned by Robin Birley in London's Mayfair district.

Oswald's is strict about taking photos and allowing social media within the venue , according to the club's member's privacy notice.

Actors Tom Cruise and Salma Hayek both made an appearance at Beckham's party and while one left an impression with their outfit, the other left it all on the dance floor, the Daily Mail reported.

Cruise, who turned 61 in July 2023, stunned guests when he began demonstrating "a series of breakdancing moves, culminating in splits," the outlet said.

"People were absolutely dumbfounded," one guest told the Daily Mail.

While no photos or videos of Cruise dancing exist online, social media users continue to poke fun at the expense of the "Mission Impossible" movie star. An X user who goes by @Douggernaut_2 posted a clip of actor Mike Myers dancing in the film "Austin Powers" and said, "Tom Cruise arriving at Victoria Beckham's bday."

Several social media users hearkened back to when Cruise played the Les Grossman character in the 2008 comedy movie "Tropic Thunder." Cruise would hilariously reprise the character during the 2010 MTV Movie Awards and dance to rapper Ludacris' song "Get Back."

"Remember when Tom Cruise did this," X user @charletty_ said Monday in a post reacting to the video of Cruise's full dance routine at the awards show.

During the routine with singer and actress Jennifer Lopez, Cruise does a split on stage. X user @danilo_parks said Monday in a post, "It's real Tom Cruise does the splits mania out there today."

In addition to seeing Cruise do splits and the Spice Girls perform, guests also received goody bags full of Beckham's branded products, including a candle and a fragrance, the Telegraph reported.

All the fun has people wondering where their invite was to Beckham's birthday party, including X user @StaceyVaselaney who said, "I’m sitting here shaking my head wondering why wasn’t I invited to Victoria Beckham’s 50th birthday party."

Tom Cruise brought down the house at Victoria Beckham’s star-studded 50th birthday party .

The “Top Gun: Maverick” star, 61, “absolutely dumbfounded” guests Saturday night by breakdancing and doing splits, a fellow partygoer told the Daily Mail Monday.

Cruise, who has known Victoria and her husband, David Beckham, for nearly two decades, has been living in the UK while filming “Mission Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part Two,” which is expected to hit theaters next year.

The “Risky Business” star was dressed to the nines for the occasion in a classic black tuxedo with a bow tie and shiny black shoes.

Cruise was far from the only A-lister who attended Victoria’s grand fête in London.

All of the fashion designer’s fellow Spice Girls — Melanie “Mel C” Chisholm, Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell and Melanie “Mel B” Brown — also showed up for the festivities.

The girl group even staged an impromptu reunion to perform their 1997 hit song “Stop” for the attendees.

Victoria had her party at the private members’ club Oswald’s and stunned in a celestial sheer mint gown featuring ruffled details along the hem.

The guest of honor arrived on crutches after breaking her foot during a workout earlier this year, but she did not let the injury stop her from going all out for her milestone birthday.

She was joined by her athlete husband, who was dressed in a tux, as well as their four children: sons Brooklyn, 25, Romeo, 21, and Cruz, 19, and daughter Harper, 12.

Other stars at the soirée included Gordon Ramsay and Eva Longoria.

Notably absent from the momentous occasion was Brooklyn’s wife, Nicola Peltz, who instead spent time with her grandmother .

The “Bates Motel” actress, 29, shared a photo with her grandma on her Instagram Story but also made sure to send her mother-in-law some birthday love.

However, Peltz denied she had any beef with the former pop star and explained that she could not wear a dress by Victoria’s eponymous brand due to timing issues.

“I was going to and I really wanted to, and then a few months down the line, she realized that her atelier couldn’t do it, so then I had to pick another dress,” she  told Variety  at the time.

“She didn’t say ‘you can’t wear it;’ I didn’t say I didn’t want to wear it. That’s where it started, and then they ran with that.”

Photographers capture the moment David emerged from Oswald's — a private members club in London — with Victoria on his back in the wee hours of Sunday morning.

The couple, who married in 1999, appeared to leave alongside their four children: Brooklyn, 25, Romeo, 21, Cruz, 19, and 12-year-old Harper.

Victoria shared a photo of her family's birthday outfits on Instagram, writing, "Can't wait to celebrate with my friends and family! I love you all so much."

Close friends of Victoria also attended the party, including the Spice Girls and Tom Cruise.

When Victoria Beckham turns 50, her celebrity friends turn out!

The former Spice Girls member and fashion designer celebrated her 50th birthday earlier this week, and marked the milestone on Saturday, April 20, with a fabulous (and star-studded!) bash.

Victoria arrived at the party — which was held at Oswald’s, a members-only club in London — in a sheer mint green gown, and walked on crutches, which recently became a surprise fixture in her closet due to a foot injury .

She was, of course, flanked by other members of the tight-knit Beckham clan, including husband David Beckham , daughter Harper , 12, and her three sons: Brooklyn , 25, Romeo , 21, and Cruz , 19.

The Beckham family let their mom shine on her special day, dressing formally but keeping their birthday bash attire to a muted, black-and-white palette.

Also photographed outside the venue were two of Victoria's fellow Spice Girls!

Geri Halliwell-Turner (a.k.a. Ginger Spice) arrived to the party with Posh Spice in a strapless white dress with bow details.

Mel B (Scary Spice herself) stepped out in a bright red gown, and seemingly nodded to her Spice Girls days — and specifically, her affinity for animal prints — with a pair of leopard-print heels and a matching shoulder bag.

Another guest from the music world was Marc Anthony , who arrived at the birthday bash hand-in-hand with wife Nadia Ferreira .

Hollywood's elite also showed out for Victoria’s celebration, and leading the pack was none other than Tom Cruise , who donned a tux and bow tie for the occasion.

The Mission: Impossible star was photographed grinning ear-to-ear as he strolled into Oswald’s.

Eva Longoria and husband José "Pepe" Bastón were also seen dressed to the nines at the celebration, along with Jason Statham , who was joined by his fiancée, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley .

As a longtime friend of both Victoria and David, Gordon Ramsay was also on the guest list.

The celebrity chef arrived at the club to celebrate Victoria — and brought his wife, Tana Ramsay , as his date!

The day before her birthday, Victoria shared a message of reflection on Instagram, writing, “As I get ready to step into 50 (in heels, of course!), I feel so incredibly blessed to have reached this milestone.”

“Blessed, but also accomplished and deeply content. Not just of where I am as a woman, but of how far my fashion and beauty brands have come,” she continued. “My ambition was always to empower women and make them feel like the best version of themselves. To me, that meant trusting my instinct and never compromising on my creative vision.”

In the same post, the designer said her career pivots — from Spice Girls star to fashion designer to beauty mogul — have taught her to “dream big.”

“I believe that you can be many things,” she wrote. “A pop star, a mother, a wife, a designer… My passion has always been to dream big, then dream even bigger! Believe in yourself first — everyone else will follow.”

She also shouted out David for his support throughout their 25 years of marriage, as well as their four children, writing that “if you’re really lucky, you’ll find someone who believes in you even more than you do.”

At Least 2 Are Stabbed on a Party Boat in Brooklyn

Three people were hospitalized, including a man who was struck in the head with a bottle, and more than 1,000 passengers were evacuated, the authorities said.

Two men were stabbed and another was hit in the head with a bottle on a crowded party boat in Brooklyn on Saturday evening, the authorities said.

The men were hospitalized with injuries that did not appear to be life-threatening, police and fire officials said.

The police said the attacks forced the evacuation of more than 1,000 passengers from the boat, a cruise ship called the Cornucopia Majesty , which was docked at Pier 4 at the Brooklyn Army Terminal.

A 32-year-old man was stabbed in the torso, a 40-year-old man was stabbed several times in the chest and abdomen, and a 28-year-old man was hit in the head with a bottle, the police said. All three men were taken to NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn.

The stabbings happened just after 5 p.m., the police said. No arrests had been made as of Saturday night, and it was unclear how many attackers had been involved.

The police said they believed that a dispute had escalated into a physical altercation, but that the events leading up to the stabbings were still under investigation.

Just before 8 p.m., the group that organized the party, BYFAR Entertainment, posted a statement to social media .

“Unfortunately, a crime scene developed by the pier, which has caused the postponement of the night event,” the company said. “We will have updates on a later date so just hold on tight with us while we sort everything out. BYFAR Entertainment has always been a beacon of safe events in New York City and this rare occurrence has never been the norm with us.”

In the hours before the fight, the Cornucopia Majesty had hosted a party .

Passengers said in interviews that they had enjoyed dancing, eating and drinking rum aboard the ship, but by early evening, they were standing confused on the pier, surrounded by police cruisers and ambulances.

Glendon Thomas, 29, a resident of New Jersey, said he and several friends realized a fight had broken out on the ship only after they disembarked.

“I saw a guy laying on his friend,” he said, adding that the friend appeared to have a wound on his chest.

Kevaun Whitely, who lives in Brooklyn, said the fight had broken out as a large crowd of rowdy partygoers — many of whom had been drinking alcohol — attempted to disembark through the same door.

“It was like a stampede,” Mr. Whitely, 27, said.

The police kept Mr. Whitely and several other people on board the ship for hours as they checked identification, he said.

“I’m glad we got out safe,” he said, adding, “I hope nobody passed away from all this craziness.”

Spice Girls stage impromptu reunion at Victoria Beckham's birthday party and perform 'Stop' dance

The Spice Girls performed their dance to their song "Stop" when they reunited Saturday to celebrate Victoria Beckham’s birthday party.

In a video posted to Beckham's Instagram page, an excited David Beckham recorded his wife, Victoria, Melanie Brown, Geri Halliwell, Melanie Chisholm and Emma Bunton doing the dance to their 1997 hit.

"Best night ever! Happy Birthday to me! I love you all so much!" Victoria Beckham, the fashion designer and former Spice Girl, captioned the video, adding the hashtag #SpiceUpYourLife.

Beckham was wearing a sheer mint green dress to ring in her birthday celebrations. She posed for a picture with her husband and their children, Brooklyn Peltz Beckham, 25; Romeo Beckham, 21; Cruz Beckham, 19; and Harper Beckham, 12.

"Can’t wait to celebrate with my friends and family! I love you all so much," she captioned a photo of the family, tagging her husband and children.

The video of the former bandmates performing their dance routine garnered a lot of excitement from fans who are hoping for another Spice Girls tour.

Last month, Melanie Brown, known to fans as Mel B, hinted that the group is working on something "very good" while appearing on NBC's "TODAY" show with Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager.

Asked by Hager whether fans will be able to catch the Spice Girls on a reunion tour, Brown paused and said: “Oh, I’m going to get in trouble. I’m not saying anything. OK, bye!” before she walked out to laughter from the hosts.

The Spice Girls last set out on tour as a four-person group in 2019, without Beckham. The last time the original five — Brown, Beckham,  Halliwell , Chisholm and  Bunton  — performed together was for the  2012 Olympics in London .

The group released a  throwback video  in March 2023 to mark the 25th anniversary of their hit “Stop.” In the video, the women stand next to each other and perform the full choreography dressed in outfits most likely resembling their former monikers: Scary Spice, Posh Spice, Ginger Spice, Sporty Spice and Baby Spice.

MADRID (AP) — Rafael Nadal couldn’t learn much from his comfortable straight-set win over American teenager Darwin Blanch in the first round of the Madrid Open.

Nadal cruised to a 6-1, 6-0 victory over the mistake-prone 16-year-old Blanch on Thursday.

“I didn’t test much my body today,” the 37-year-old Nadal said. “I played a decent match doing the things that I had to do to be through, but at the same time I played against a player ... making more mistakes.”

Blanch, playing only in his second ATP tour match, made 27 unforced errors. Nadal never faced a break point and was in control from the start against the wild-card entry, closing the match in just over one hour at the Caja Magica center court in the Spanish capital.

“I think today I played against an opponent with a great future,” Nadal said. “But today, still making mistakes. I just tried to be there, be solid all the time without taking a lot of risks. It worked well. I’m happy to be through and I wish him all the very best for the future.”

The encounter marked the largest age gap (21 years, 117 days) between two opponents at an ATP 1000 tournament.

Nadal looked in good form and showed no physical limitations in just his third competitive match since returning from his latest injury layoff. He had made his return in Barcelona last week, losing in the second round to Alex De Minaur , who will also be his second-round opponent in Madrid on Saturday.

“I hope I can give my best and be competitive against De Minaur,” Nadal said. “Every time I have the chance to be on court in this amazing stadium with an unconditional supportive crowd, it means a lot to me. Just trying to enjoy every moment. Tomorrow, one more day of practice here and then after tomorrow, on court again. That makes me feel great.”

Nadal had arrived in Madrid saying he was not 100% fit , and that he was only going to play because the clay-court tournament was at home.

On Wednesday, the record five-time champion in Madrid said that in his current condition he would not play if this was the French Open, a tournament he has won a record 14 times.

The Spaniard is trying to get back in shape for the tournament in Paris for what will likely be his last Roland Garros appearance. The French Open begins next month.

A 22-time Grand Slam champion, Nadal had hip surgery last summer and said 2024 would probably be his last year on tour. He had skipped Monte Carlo, and his last tournament had been in Brisbane in January, when he played three matches.

“The thing is before, most of the time, I was able to give my 100% of the 100%,” Nadal said. “Today I’m able to give my 100% of sometimes 40%, sometimes 60%, sometimes 70%, and if I am able to raise this percentage day after day or week after week, why not in the future what can happen? If not, it’s impossible.”

OTHER RESULTS

Felix Auger-Aliassime rallied to defeat Yoshihito Nishioka 4-6, 6-1, 6-4, while Lorenzo Sonego beat Richard Gasquet 6-2, 7-5 to set up a meeting against fellow Italian Jannik Sinner, the top seed in Madrid. Gasquet was playing in his 1,000th tour-level match.

Brazilian qualifier Thiago Monteiro will face Stefanos Tsitsipas after defeating Dusan Lajovic 6-4, 6-3, while fellow Brazilian João Fonseca rallied to beat American Alex Michelsen 4-6, 6-0, 6-2.

SWIATEK AND GAUFF ADVANCE

Top-ranked Iga Swiatek began her quest to win the Madrid Open for the first time with a comfortable 6-1, 6-4 win over Wang Xiyu to set up a third-round meeting against 27th-seeded Sorana Cirstea.

Madrid remains the only top European clay title that Swiatek is yet to win.

“I love this place. I got to know the city a little better last year,” Swiatek said. “So this time I feel more comfortable around.”

American Coco Gauff eased to a 6-0, 6-0 win over Arantxa Rus in less than an hour for her first tour-level, main-draw win without losing a game.

“Oh-and-oh, I’ve never done that before, I’ll probably never do it again,” Gauff said.

Former No. 1 Naomi Osaka lost 6-2, 4-6, 7-5 to 15th-seeded Liudmila Samsonova.

Osaka, who returned from maternity leave in January, had earned her first win on clay in two years on Wednesday.
