If you are a British or UK passport holder, you don't need a prior visa arrangement when traveling to Dubai. All required of you is to have the traveling documents, and the airport immigration office, when entering Dubai, will be issued 30 days on-arrival visa.

The 30 days arrival visa allows you to stay in Dubai for 30 days, but there you can get your visa extended by another 30 days. You don't have to exit the country and worry about how to extend the visa. You can let us Arabiers process everything for you.

If you plan to stay in Dubai long, you can change your visa, which is possible without exiting the country.

What are the Dubai Visa Requirements for British Citizens?

You have to meet the Dubai visa requirements for British citizens to be issued with the 30 days on arrival visa. The requirements include;

  • Original passport and should be at least 6 months from the UAE's expected departure time.
  • A confirmed return flight ticket or a flight ticket to another destination.

If you meet these requirements, which you will be prompted to present by the immigration authorities, you will be issued 30 days on-arrival visa.

Overstaying Fines

The 30 days on-arrival visa allows UK citizens to stay in Dubai for 30 days. There is a grace period of 10 days where you have to extend your visa by contacting a travel agency like Arabiers or exit the country.

After the 10 days grace period, you will be considered to have overstayed and thus pay fines. The fines are calculated as follows;

for the first day of overstaying

per day from the second day onwards.

How to Extend your on-arrival Dubai Visa:

extend uk tourist visa dubai

After entering Dubai from the UK on the 30 days on arrival visa, you can extend your stay by any of the below options.

If your 30 days on arrival visa expired before renewing it, you have to exit the country and reenter to get a new visa.

Basically, you need to leave the country where you got the visa in the first place UAE so that you can continue to stay. A new 30-day on-arrival visa is issued every time the individual exits and enters the country.

There is no limit to the number of 30 days on-arrival visas issued per person annually. NOTE: Rejecting or issuing a visa is the sole discretion of the Dubai Immigration authorities.

You won't need to leave the country to get your visa extended for the UAE. The on-arrival visa is valid for thirty days and can be extended through immigration services for a fee of 1000 AED. You will receive an extension of 30 days, including a grace period of 10 days.

The other way to extend your stay in Dubai is through the in-country visa status change , but it is more expensive than the other two, which allows you to stay in UAE for more than 30 days.

You are not required to leave the country or go to any immigration office to obtain an inside-country visa. Rather, you are required to get in touch with a reputable travel agency like Arabiers to issue inside-country visas. As you relax on the beach during your vacation in Dubai, you will be issued a new tourist visa valid for either 30 or 90 days.

Alternately, you can change your visit visa into a residence visa or employment visa to extend your stay for longer.

If you are a UK national who has arrived in the country and have a visit visa that is set to expire in 30 days, you have the option to either extend your visa or convert it into a residence visa or an employment visa to obtain additional time to remain.

If you want someone else to file for your residence visa on your behalf, you will require a sponsor like your employer, a travel agency, spouse, or another individual.

It is essential to note that, in most instances, you will not be able to submit an application for your resident visa.

The employer will submit an application for a residence visa on your behalf to the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) of the emirate where you will be living.

The cost of extending your UAE visit visa may vary depending on the following:

Same Visa Extension

Tourists in the UAE on a 30 or 60 days visit visa can extend their stay within the country by another 30 days. The decision by the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship (ICA) and the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) grants visitors an additional 30 days to explore and enjoy the country’s diverse offerings.

The UAE has implemented several changes in its visa procedures since October last year, marking one of the largest residency and entry permit reforms by the ICP (Immigration and Citizenship Program). Since then, several developments have taken place in the visit visa system of the country.

As per the ICA website, individuals holding a visit visa of 30 or 60 days will now be eligible for an additional 30-day stay, and the maximum extension period for a visit visa holder is 120 days.

A call centre representative of Amer Centre said that a visit visa extension within the country is possible and “one must contact their visa issuing agent to for the extension."

Maximum extension

According to a call centre representative at ICP, it is possible to obtain a visa extension within the country for a period of 30 days. This extension applies to both long-term and short-term visit visas. However, it is important to note that the total duration of stay within a year should not exceed 120 days.

The call centre executive clarified, “If a visitor is on a 30 days visa, the extension can be possible up to 120 days (30 days on each extension),” added the executive.

Procedure for extension

"If a tourist or a visitor would like to extend their stay, they should contact the issuing travel agent or sponsor," said Firose Khan, operation manager at Arabian Business Centre.

"Your sponsor or travel agent who issued the visa can provide you with information on the extension process, required documentation, fees, and any other relevant details. It's important to initiate this process well before your current visa's expiration to allow sufficient time for the extension to be processed," added Khan.

Documentation required

The visitor’s passport is required to extend a visit visa. The issuing agent will provide more details on the required documents.

Time duration for extension

The process may take a few days from submitting the documents depending on your travel agent who applies for the service. However, on the ICP website, the “time to complete the service after its requirements are completed is 48 hours,”

Extension charges:

“The cost of extension for a month is Dh1,050,” said Khan.

The GDRFA elaborated the costs of extension and gave a breakdown of the rates on their website.

Visa extension fee: Dh600, in addition to the value-added tax (5%).

Additional fees (if the sponsored person is inside the country):

Knowledge dirham : Dh10

Innovation dirham : Dh10

Fee inside the country: Dh500

The website also mentioned, “The total amount of the visa may vary depending on the circumstances surrounding the sponsored person or for any other reasons that may require that,”

On ICP website, the cost vary.

Request fee: Dh100

Issuance fee: Dh500, and other related charges are applicable.

The website also mentions the application for an extension of entry permit for tourism is made through the tourism companies. Agents have urged the visitors to leave the country before the visa expiry or extend their visas to avoid attracting any penalties or difficulties while exiting.

This extension caters to various purposes, including tourism, family visits, business meetings, and other personal matters. "Visitors can utilise this extra time to explore the country's iconic landmarks, indulge in shopping, savour culinary delights, or simply relax in the UAE's world-class hospitality," said Khan.

Visitors to the UAE whose visas are about to expire can extend their stay by up to 60 days if necessary.

Anyone who does not go through the proper procedures and stays beyond the validity of their visit visa will be subject to fines of Dh50 ($13.61) a day.

Visitors who stay beyond the time allowed without renewing their visas can also be arrested for staying in the country illegally. Inspection campaigns are regularly carried out to catch offenders.

Here The National explains how to avoid these fines by applying for a visa extension.

No more 'grace period'

Visitors to Dubai will no longer be granted a 10-day grace period when their tourist visa expires, so travel agents, The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP), and the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai (GDRFA) are urging visitors to apply for a 30-day extension visa before their original visa expires.

This extension can be applied for twice, resulting in an additional 60-day visit.

“People wishing to stay in the UAE after their visit visa expires should apply for a 30-day extension visa to stay legally in the country,” said an ICP call centre agent.

“They can apply for a second 30-day extension, maximum.”

More than 14 million people visited Dubai in 2022. Reuters

The authority encouraged visitors to arrange the extension in advance of the current visa expiring, and warned of the upper limit for number of days spent in the country.

“People should be aware that the total duration of stay within a year should not exceed 120 days,” the agent said.

How much does it cost?

According to the ICP website, the cost of extending a visit visa is Dh610.

However, according to Amer, an immigration service centre, the cost for an extension of a visa issued by GDRFA-Dubai is Dh800.

Fees can vary between Dh800 and Dh1,100 when applying through a travel agency.

Where do I go to get the extension?

“The 30-day extension visa can be issued by the same travel agency that issued the visa for the customer in the first place," said Roshan Davis, manager of Golden Talent Tourism Agency in Dubai.

Visitors who obtained a visa on arrival can apply for an extension via the ICP or GDRFA-Dubai websites, or customer service centres.

Anyone with a visa on arrival can also take their passport to Dubai airport immigration in the Terminal 3 arrival area, Mr Davis added.

What are the required documents?

Holders of a visit visa should send a copy of their original visa and passport to the travel agent for extension. They can also visit the ICP or GDRFA-Dubai website to apply for an extension and the visa will be extended within 48 hours.

The passport should have a validity of at least six months to apply for an extension.

For how many days can validity be extended?

The service allows visit visa holders to extend their visa for up to 60 days, in two applications of 30-day extensions.

Who is the tourist visa for?

Those who do not qualify for a visa on arrival or visa-free entry to the UAE can apply for a tourist visa.

Citizens from 69 countries and states are eligible for a visa on arrival in the UAE . Females below the age of 18 are not eligible to apply for a tourist visa unless they are travelling with their parents.

How can I apply for a tourist visa?

Visitors from countries that do not have a visa-on-arrival arrangement with the UAE can apply for their visas in advance through a travel agency or through the airline.

Dubai: If you are in the UAE on a visit visa sponsored by your family member or friend who is a UAE resident, did you know that you can extend the visa for up to 90 days? Visit visa holders have different options to extend the visa that they are on, but the duration of the extension varies depending on the type of visa you have. For example, if you are on a tourist visa, you can apply for a 30 day extension .

The option to visit the UAE on a visa sponsored by a family member or friend was introduced by the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP) on February 15, 2023 . In the announcement, ICP also mentioned that if a UAE resident sponsors his or her family member or friend, they can use the visa extension service, allowing the extension of the visa “for a period of 30, 60, and 90 days”.

Where can I apply for the 90-day visit visa extension?

If you have a visit visa for Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah or Fujairah, the authority in charge of extending the visa is ICP.

The visa extension application can be made through three channels: 1. The ICP Smart Services website: smartservices.icp.gov.ae 2. The ICP mobile app – ‘UAEICP’, which is available for Apple and Android devices. 3. A typing centre authorised by ICP – you can find the list of approved typing centres in each Emirate by visiting this website: https://icp.gov.ae/en/typing-offices/

Required documents

To apply for your family member’s or friend’s visit visa extension, you would need to submit the following documents:

• Original copy of entry permit • Coloured passport photo of the visit visa holder • Rental contract or hotel reservation details– if the relative or friend is residing in the sponsor’s home for the duration of the trip, then they must submit their rental contract • Copy of return ticket • Copy of previous security deposit receipt • Emirates ID card copy of the sponsor – front and back. It is important to note that you maybe required to provide additional documents, based on the information provided in the application form.

How to apply through the ICP website

To apply for the visit visa extension through the ICP Smart Services platform, follow the steps below:

1. Visit smartservices.icp.gov.ae, scroll down, and log in using your UAE Pass , or through your ICP online account, if you already have one. 2. Once you are logged in, you will be transferred to a personal dashboard on the website. 3. Next, click on the ICP department in your Emirate, for example - Federal Authority For Identity and Citizenship\Abu Dhabi or Sharjah. 4. Then, in the ‘module’ search bar, look for the service to extend visit visa. The service will appear below. 5. Click on ‘Start Service’. 6. Fill in the application and upload the required documents. 7. Next, pay the service fee using a credit or debit card. Once you have made the payment, you will receive a confirmation from ICP that the application has been submitted. According to ICP, it will take approximately two to five business days for a visit visa to be issued, once approved. You will receive the extended entry permit on the email address that you have provided in the application form.

Cost of the 90-day visa extension

As per ICP, the final cost of the visa would depend on the application details. Here is an estimated cost breakdown, as per the authority: • Request Fees: Dh100 • Issue fees: Dh500 • E-service fees: Dh100 • Insurance fees: Dh40 • ICP fees: Dh22 • Smart Services fees: Dh100 Total: Dh862 “Please note that the service fees may vary depending on the data entered in the application,” the ICP website states.

How to Extend Your Tourist Visa in Dubai – The Easy Way

When I was looking for information on how to extend my tourist visa in Dubai, I didn’t find much information available, so I thought I will make this for anyone looking to do something similar.

The process is much easier than the one I found online or when I called some agencies telling me to go to Terminal 3.

Who can extend their tourist visas in Dubai

As a British passport holder, we receive 30 days visa on arrival in Dubai or the UAE.

Pretty much all European countries and the Western world will receive some type of visa on arrival.

You can check your visa requirements and what type of  visa you will need here.

For example, my mum, a Bulgarian passport holder, received 90 days visa on arrival that cannot be extended.

extend uk tourist visa dubai

Why extend?

We decided to visit Dubai as it is open for tourism with low cases of the virus and much better weather than the UK currently.

I wanted to make sure that we get the extension for an extra month we needed.

Unfortunately, you can only extend your visa on arrival for 30 days extra this includes your 10 days grace period that Dubai has.

Technically with this type of visa, you will have 40 days which is 30 days normal visa plus your 10 days grace period after which you will start getting fined by 100AED a day.

Extending process

I called twice the Amer number to inquire about the process, and although both agents were helpful, the second agent explained the process much better.

When extending your Dubai visa on arrival, you have three options.

  • Visit an Amer centre to extend your visa (please note there is a website called Amer247 which comes on top of Google, this is not the real government website but an agency with strong ads game.) The actual  Amer.ae site is here .
  • You can also visit the Terminal 3 office in Dubai Airport, which is their immigration centre there. I have had friends who have renewed their visas there. We were staying in the Marina, and this is one of the furthest places to get to. So definitely didn’t want to spend 3 hours doing this.
  • Online via their application. It is by far the easiest way to extend your Dubai tourist visa via the GDRFA application.

How to extend your visa using the GDRFA app

extending your tourist visa in dubai via the grfda app

  • You can download the application either on iPhone or Android.
  • You should have your passport on hand as you will need to take a photo, add your passport number and name.
  • It will then pull all your details and will ask you for payment.

Extending your UAE tourist visa is not free, unlike your first on arrival visa tourist visa in Dubai.

extending tourism visa in the united arab emirates

For your extension, you will need to pay around 780AED. 755AED is the visa, and then the card processing fees are 25AED so I think in total we spent 780AED.

When I spoke with the agent on the phone, he told me that your extension’s approval takes approximately 48hrs. However, for my daughter and me, this was much faster. I think it took less than 5hrs to receive the confirmation email.

Also, note that you will have to pay the fee for children as well no matter their age. If they have a passport and a visa, then you will need to factor that cost too.

Renewing my Dubai visa online via the app was the least stressful part of the whole process.

I am glad I called twice to ask the app for clarification and make sure it was the genuine version.

Unfortunately, you cannot extend your visa for a second time, so the maximum amount you can stay in the country is 60 days.

Overall, it is much easier to use the GDRFA application to extend your visa in Dubai than having to go to an office or the airport. Saves you money spent on a taxi and  also the time you can spend enjoying Dubai.

hello, i tried the above excellent advice, but on the app i received the following error: "this service has now been moved to the new website, to apply please click https://smart.gdrfad.gov.ae/HomePage.aspx" but after one registers, there is nowhere referring to "visa extension". any ideas?

Muslim Travel Girl

By the looks of it, they have just moved the site, did you try the app? it should work easier. The help guide takes you to the old site, if you can't find the visa required I would call Amer on +971 4 313 9999 and ask them. I am sure it is there, but knowing them they probably put some weird name.

Hi thanks for this very helpful guide. I cannot find anywhere details on the 10 day grace period for being over the 30 day UK tourist visa to Dubai before having to renew or get fined. Where did you hear about that? We want to stay 31 days for a few specific reasons so it would be very helpful to not have to extend for 1 day! Thanks

it is on the official website on the link, it was also confirmed on the phone with the agent I spoke to.

Thursday 4th of March 2021

that was some really helpful information you have shared. I was planning to bring my wife for a visit to dubai so i was wondering if during your visit you had to get an insurance to travel like if it was necessary ??

Wednesday 31st of March 2021

Depending on your location. I did have insurance to cover and I would recommend it. Just for a piece of mind really.

Monday 22nd of February 2021

Thanks for your article. Just to confirm. I will be travelling to Dubai from London and want to get a 60 day visa at the Dubai Airport. Is that possible?

Thanking you in advance Marcelle

No as a UK citizen you get only 30 days, you can then extend

Table of Contents

How to Get a UK Tourist Visa from UAE

The application process for a UK tourist visa mainly involves an online application form and an appointment at a visa application centre. First, you have to choose from the pool of different types of UK visas and determine the kind of visa that suits your requirement as a tourist from UAE. The following step-by-step guidelines shall help you navigate the process of getting a UK tourist visa from start to end.

1. Determine Your Required Visa Type

Different types of uk visas.

There are numerous types of UK visas depending on your nationality, purpose of visit, duration of stay, and personal circumstances and skills. There are standard visitor visas, work visas, student visas, marriage visitor visas, family visas, ancestry visas etc. However, there are three possible visa options for a tourist to consider and determine the suitable one.

– Visa Not Required

The first thing to determine is whether you need a visa to enter the UK. Depending on your nationality, as per your passport, you might not require a visa at all. For example, if you are a Canadian national residing in the UAE, you are exempted from the visa requirement to travel to the UK for a stay shorter than 6 months. Similarly, citizens of the USA, EU member states, and certain commonwealth countries do not need a visa to stay in the UK for no longer than 6 months.

You can check whether you require a visa to enter the UK here .

– Electronic Visa Waiver

Instead of a Standard Visitor Visa, nationals of some middle-eastern countries, including the UAE, have the option to enter the UK with an Electronic Visa Waiver (EVW) . The UK Electronic Visa Waiver, a digital alternative to regular visitor visas, can be availed by the nationals of the following countries if their stay is no longer than six months for tourism, business, study, or medical treatment:

  • Saudi Arabia
  • United Arab Emirates

If you are a national of one of the six countries mentioned above and residing in UAE, the easiest option is to go for an Electronic Visa Waiver (EVW).

– Standard Visitor Visa

Suppose you belong neither to any nationalities exempted from the UK visa requirement nor to the nationalities that can avail of an Electronic Visa Waiver. In that case, you must get a Standard Visitor Visa to travel to the UK as a tourist. Those eligible for an Electronic Visa Waiver can also get a UK Standard Visitor Visa. You can usually stay up to 6 months in the UK with a standard visitor visa. However, in certain circumstances like academics and medical treatment, you might be permitted to stay longer than six months.

To get a UK Standard Visitor Visa, you must apply online and attend an appointment at a visa application centre before you travel to the UK. Suppose you plan to visit the UK as a tourist regularly. In that case, you may opt for the long-term standard visitor visa, which will help you avoid the visa application process each time you travel, although the maximum stay per visit would remain 6 months.

The earliest you can apply for a visitor visa is three months before your journey. You should begin your visa application process as soon as possible to relax and prepare for your travel comfortably.

2. Gather the Required Documents

You must keep the following documents ready for a seamless visa application process. Check the documents required for a UK tourist visa from UAE.

List of Required Documents

1. Passport

Your passport must be valid during the entire course of your ijju stay in the UK. It must also have at least one page blank for your Standard Visitor Visa.

2. Proof of Accommodation

Proof showing where you will be staying in the UK.  Documents such as hotel reservation, host invitation, confirmation by a tour operator or rental agreement/contract will qualify as sufficient proof of accommodation.

 3. Proof of Financial Means

To show that you have sufficient funds to live in the UK, you should produce bank statements or proof of earnings (such as a letter from your employer)

4. Proof of Travel History

Previous travel documents/passports which indicate your travel history.

5. Proof of Legal Residence

If you are not a UAE national or your right to reside in UAE is not mentioned in your passport, you should furnish documents to confirm your legal residence in the UAE, to apply for a UK visitor visa from UAE.

6. Proof of Employment/Education Status

To demonstrate your employment or education status, you must produce either of the following.

  • If you are an employee, a letter from your employer on company letterhead, with information regarding your role, salary, and duration of employment.
  • If you are self-employed, business registration documents or recent invoices.
  • If you are a student, a letter from your institution on official letterhead confirming your studentship and leave of absence.

Additional Documents Required if You Are Under 18

1. Document Showing the Relationship between You and Your Parent

Such as birth certificates, adoption papers etc.

2. Copy of photo page of Guardian’s Passport (if parents are not applying for the visa)

Ensure that their passport number and signature are included. If they don’t have a passport, produce another document with their signature.

3. Signed letter from your parent (if you are not travelling with your parent)

Additional Documents Required if You Have a Sponsor

If someone in the UK is providing your travel or accommodation, you must produce:

  • Letter of invitation from the host
  • Document showing the relationship between you and the sponsor (family, employer etc.)
  • Legal residence document of your sponsor

Understanding the UK Visa Application Fee

  • The Electronic Visa Waiver costs 30 Euros, which is approximately 120 AED.
  • The fee for a UK Standard Visitor visa is approximately equivalent to 500 AED.
  • The fee for a 2-year long-term standard visitor visa is approximately equivalent to 1800 AED.
  • The fee for a 5-year long-term standard visitor visa is approximately equivalent to 3200 AED.
  • The fee for a 10-year long-term standard visitor visa is approximately equivalent to 4900 AED.

3. Complete the Online Application Form

The online application form is the key step to getting your UK standard visitor visa before attending an appointment at a visa application centre. Once you start the online application form, you can save it any time and finish it later by signing back in. The following is a step-by-step breakdown of filling out your online application form for the UK standard visitor visa.

Tips to avoid common mistakes while filling out the form

  • Keep some of your original documents/ID proofs next to you while filling out the form to verify the spelling of your particulars against your ID proofs.
  • While answering yes or no questions regarding your legal, criminal and immigration history, ensure you don’t get confused.

It’s always preferred to contact a visa assistance service like Visa Guy to fill out your application form to ensure everything is filled out correctly.

4. Schedule Your Appointment at Visa Application Centre (VAC)

How to schedule your appointment at the uk visa application centre.

  • Open the VFS-Global website and find the UK Visa Application Centres list in UAE .
  •   From the list, click on the centre that is nearest to you.
  • Read and understand the opening hours and regulations of the Visa Application Centre you have chosen, and proceed to book by clicking on the Book Now tab.
  •   Give the online application credentials asked.
  •   Choose a feasible date and reserve your appointment.

Understanding the Biometrics appointment

The appointment at the Visa Application Centre for identity verification and biometric information is a crucial step in your visa application process. It is a mandatory process which you must directly appear for. Your fingerprints and photograph will be collected at the Visa Application Centre. Both your photograph and fingerprints of all 10 digits will be collected by a digital scanner, and your documents shall be verified to confirm your identity.

Preparing for Your Appointment

After booking your appointment, in the following days, ensure that you have collected all documents required for the appointment. You will need to take the following documents to the Visa Application Centre .

  • Printout of the Appointment Confirmation letter ( from VFS Global)
  • Valid Passport (with at least one blank page)
  • Printout of your checklist (from your completed visa application form)
  • Supporting Documents
  • Evidence of permission to be in UAE (if you are not a UAE national)
  • Evidence of your sponsor’s legal residence in the UK (if you are applying as a dependant)

5. Attend the Appointment

At the Visa Application Centre , biometric scans and document verification will occur. It is important to know about the procedures in the Visa Application Centre to avoid any last-minute confusion. Make sure that you reach your Visa Application Centre on time. Arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment time. Don’t forget to take your passport and other documents to the Visa Application Centre. For the biometric information collection, keep the following in your mind.

  • Your full face must be visible in the photo. Sunglasses, tinted glasses or head coverings are prohibited unless worn for religious or medical reasons.
  • Ensure your face is properly visible without any hair falling across the eye.
  • Ensure that your fingertips do not have any cuts or abrasions- this may affect the scan.
  • Children below the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult (18+)
  • You can use the Document Scanning Assistance Service at the Visa Application Centre to upload the supporting documents for the appointment.

Priority Visa Service- for Getting Faster Decision on your Application.

You might be able to get a faster decision on your visa application by opting for the priority visa service . Depending on the availability of the service in each Visa Application Centre, you can get a faster decision by paying a service charge for the same.

6. Waiting for the Visa Decision

The waiting begins once you have completed your appointment and provided your biometric information. The waiting time ends when you get a mail consisting of the visa decision. Meanwhile, you can track your application to get updates about its progress.

Usual Processing Times for UK visitor visas

Normally you should get your visa decision within 3 weeks after you attend the appointment at the Visa Application Centre. However, as mentioned earlier, you can make a faster decision using the priority services. The ‘Priority Visa’ option will give you a decision within 5-7 working days, whereas the ‘Super Priority Visa’ will give you a decision by the next working day.

Acceptance or Refusal of Application

The result of your visa application shall be conveyed to you by email or a letter. The letter or email will describe what to do next. If you do not receive any mail even after enough time, check the spam or junk folders of your email.

What to do if your application is approved.

If your Visa Application Centre has collected your passport, they will return it with a sticker (vignette) once your application is approved. If you keep your passport, you have to take your passport to the Visa Application Centre to get the vignette in the passport. The vignette will show the visa type you have been granted, the validity dates, and the visa conditions. If you encounter any error in your vignette, contact your Visa Application centre and get it corrected as soon as possible.

What to do if your application is denied.

If your Visa application is refused, you will receive an email or a letter explaining the denial. If the Visa Application Centre keeps your passport, it will be returned to you. The letter will mention if you can appeal the rejection decision.

extend uk tourist visa dubai

I know that I need to pay 600dhs but when trying it online it is 800dhs and I have been to the airport and they have asked for 900dhs. All the staff are unhelpful and I can’t seem to get a straight answer.

I was wondering if anyone has experienced this and what they did?

' class=

I applied whilst I was in AD and I did it direct on the ICA website, it was hassle free and one fixed cost. I have since returned to Blighty mid Nov to get my booster jag. I returned to AD on Monday/Tuesday night and I will be extending again in the next couple of days the same way as before.

I hope that helps.
