The Journey is a recreational vehicle (RV) (also known as a motorhome) in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas , Grand Theft Auto V , and Grand Theft Auto Online . It is manufactured by Zirconium in the HD Universe .

In Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas , the Journey is based on a 1977 Itasca C25C Class C motorhome, given the squared-off cabin and simplistic grille shape with turn indicators below, though with stacked circular headlights.

HD Universe [ ]

In Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online , the Journey's overall design is inspired by the 1977–1980 Triple E motorhomes (such as the 1977 23' and 1980 21' Chinook models), with the grille and headlights taking cues from the 1979-1981 Fleetwood Pace Arrow .

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas [ ]

The vehicle features a cab-over extension and a somewhat large cabin, similar to a Rancher . The accommodation area of the vehicle (the back) is well equipped with a furnished interior, which contains a red tiled floor, a sink, a table accompanied by two bench chairs found at most fast food restaurants, and some cabinets; other accessories include a ladder and a continental kit (spare tire) on the rear. The Journey also has a large flat roof, making for a great rampage platform. The only way to access the roof is to jump on the front end and make a second leap onto the top, as the ladder is unusable. Despite the large rear compartment and the access door on the passenger side, it is inaccessible; therefore, the Journey can only fit two people, both in the cab up front.

The vehicle is only available in a white color, with blue/yellow stripes on its sides. It has the same rims as the Elegant .

Grand Theft Auto V and Online [ ]

The Journey returns in Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online as a Class A motorhome. It assumes a boxy design with slightly angled shapes on both ends and a rusty appearance, where the front features a large metal bumper with the license plate mounted on the left. Above the bumper, there are dual black grilles that span most of the vehicle's width, with the upper grille being twice as tall than the lower one. A set of square vertical headlights can be seen beside the upper grille, as well as square indicators beside the lower grille. The uppermost area of the front is mainly occupied by a dual windshield with black wipers, along with a small radio antenna on the far left of the windshield glass.

On the sides, the vehicle features dual marker lights on the front quarters and single units on the rear quarters, as well as small compartments and vented sections around the rear half. The front section has the corresponding access doors for the front occupants, a set of rear-view mirrors and large windows for the rear compartment, together with a tall access door, small handles and a side awning on the driver side. The roof area has numerous marker lights around the edges, small hatches/vents and a metal bar on the top, along with two cornets above the front section.

The rear end has a large central window on the upper area, a large compartment on the lower area and a set of rectangular tail lights beside it, each one consisting of outer main lights, inner brake lights and smaller reverse lights within the inner brake units. The rear bumper mounts a small rack in the center and a license plate on the passenger side. An optional ladder can also be seen on the driver side.

The interior is much more unkempt than the one seen in GTA San Andreas and features some counters and cabinets, along with four seats in inverted orientations (usable by other players in GTA Online , albeit they simply warp directly to a seat). In the enhanced version , the Journey has a dedicated dial set that is essentially a brown/worn variation of the analog "Van" dial set, while the rear compartment is fully detailed, with a carpet, various posters of half-naked women, a bed that looks like that of Trevor's Trailer , a stove and a sink. A set of curtains can be seen either opened or closed.

The color distribution is relatively similar to its real-life counterpart: it spawns primarily in a grayish white primary color for the upper half of the sides and the frames of the side awning, along with a secondary color for most of the bodywork and in the form of upper side stripes passing through, adjacent to the primary color area. The lower side stripes adjacent to the secondary color area are actually determined by the wheel color, which is often of a white color. Although rare to find, the Journey can also spawn in an all-white color with red side stripes. It uses a set of plain industrial wheels with bolt details around the center.

The Journey, living up to its bulky size, is incredibly slow, but gains great speed going down hills. The acceleration is poor, as are the brakes, but it is very sturdy and withstands a lot of ramming before giving out and exploding (for example, the one parked at the top of Mount Chiliad can survive the plunge off the top of the mountain without blowing up). The steering is also below-par and it tends to roll a lot.

The Journey has the same engine sound as the Ambulance , Berkley's RC Van , BoxBurg , Burrito , Mule , Newsvan , Pony , Securicar , Tow Truck and the Utility Van .

GTA San Andreas Overview [ ]

Despite being heavy and bulky, the Journey has acceptable acceleration and handling, thanks to a torque-heavy diesel driving the front wheels, but only average top speed. Furthermore, while it can take damage, it is highly unsuitable as a getaway vehicle. It is prone to severe understeer at high speeds, likely owing to its heavy weight. It can also tip over and potentially land on the sides when steering heavily due to its high center of gravity at medium-to-high speeds.

A compact single-cam turbocharged V6 model can be seen under the van, though is easier to see using the Rockstar Editor Free Camera. Said engine is coupled to a four-speed gearbox and powers the front wheels. It uses a relatively noisy engine, with a similar tone to vehicles such as the BF Injection and the Dune Buggy .

• During the mission Marriage Counseling , a Journey sharply pulls out of a side road whilst Michael De Santa and Franklin Clinton are chasing Kyle Chavis . This Journey has a unique white primary color with either blue or red as a secondary color.

• It is stolen during the missions Crank Up the Volume and Meth'd Up .
• Several of them appear during Repo - RV Nearly There? , where they must be moved to clear path for the Brickade .

• A portion of the yellow and blue stripe vinyl running across both sides of the Journey is missing on the passenger side's quarter panel of the vehicle.
• In the "Auto Trader" section of the strategy guide and the opening introduction of the game, the Journey had much lighter coloured stripes on the side, and also had white with black spiral hubcaps found on various sedans and coupes in Grand Theft Auto III and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City .
• The Journey is one of the only vehicles in the game which always features the same NPC character model as a driver, usually an African-American NPC with a flat-top haircut, a goatee and wearing a light blue hoodie and ivory pants. Others include the Walton and the Bobcat , also featuring the same NPC model.
• Unlike other land vehicles, the Journey has the same door sound that most aircraft have.
• Similarly, one of the portraits found inside the Yellow Jack Inn depicts a Journey with a slightly different paintjob, having wide stripes at the lower and middle side painted in a secondary color.
• The Journey has two cornets on the top, as if they were either a truck horn or a musical horn . However, a normal horn is used instead.
• The player normally would not be able to enter the back seats of a Journey if both of the front seats are not occupied, but this can be bypassed by blocking the front doors with other vehicles so that the protagonist cannot perform the entering animation, thus forcing them to enter the back seats.
• As described in Crank Up the Volume and Meth'd Up , the Journey is used as a meth lab, a possible reference to the Fleetwood Bounder that appears as a meth lab in the show Breaking Bad , although it resembles the Winnebago from Spaceballs more in appearance.

Description

The Journey is a truck-based Class C motorhome (most likely a Chevrolet C30 model), featuring a cab-over extension over the cab. The vehicle is well equipped in the rear compartment with a furnished interior but is inaccessible; therefore the Journey can only fit two people, both in the cab up front.

The accommodation area of the vehicle (the back) contains a red tiled floor, a sink, a table accompanied by two bench chairs found at most fast food restaurants, and some cabinets; other accessories include a ladder and a continental kit (spare tire) on the rear. How to complete the Epsilon Program in Grand Theft Auto 5 and find every Epsilon Tract

GTA 5 Epsilon missions walkthrough

For the GTA 5 Kifflom Trophy or Achievement, you have to delve deep into the Epsilon Program – the celebrity-backed cult that has made numerous appearances over the course of the Grand Theft Auto series. This involves a series of side quests in GTA 5 that are somewhat out of the ordinary, as after you've found and joined the cult you'll need to complete a 'journey of spiritual enlightenment' with them. In reality this results in a series of escalating challenges bordering on the ridiculous, and it's often not clear what you need to do next to move on. Don't worry though as we've got you covered, so here's how to complete the Epsilon Program missions in GTA 5 to earn the Kifflom! Trophy or Achievement, as well as find some optional Epsilon Tracts.

How to start the GTA 5 Epsilon Missions

Once you've completed the story mission Father and Son , Michael will be able to access the Epsilon Program website. Pull up your phone's internet app or sit down at any computer to log in. Search "Epsilon" in EyeFind and click on the first link, then fill out the evaluation form. Your answers have no bearing on the side missions.

After the evaluation, Michael will be asked to find a certain red truck...

Seeking the Truth

A question mark will appear in Raton Canyon. Head there to find the red truck in question. This side quest is nothing more than a cutscene, so find the truck and get it over with.

You'll then receive an email asking for a $500 dollar donation to the Church of Epsilon. Head to the website again and pay the money, or the next mission will not appear.

Accepting the Truth

The next mission will open up shortly; look for the Epsilon logo on your map. When it appears, head there to start the next leg of the enlightenment quest. This time, your new contact Marnie will ask you to purchase further enlightenment for $5,000. You know what this means. Head to the Epsilon website once again and make a $5,000 donation.

Assuming the Truth

Another Epsilon symbol will soon appear in Grapeseed. Head there to encounter Marnie again. This time she wants you to steal five very special vehicles for some high rankling Epsilon members. The five cars are the Pegassi Vacca, Benefactor Surano, Declasse Tornado, Enus Super Diamond, and Dinka Double-T. Tracking down these vehicles is much easier than you'd think - you just have to know where to look. Here are the locations:

Pegassi Vacca, parked in a driveway

Enus Super Diamond, parked behind a building

Dinka Double-T, parked at the LifeInvader offices

With all five delivered, this mission will end, and another Epsilon logo will appear on your map.

Chasing the Truth

Head to the new logo to start the next leg of the GTA 5 Epsilon mission. This time, Marnie and Jimmy need you to track down some items they believe are not of this earth. You need to find three items to satisfy their search. Much like the cars, this is really simple if you know where to look.

This first item is a TV. Head northwest from the starting point to reach this fence. The TV lies along it.

The second item is some sort of battery. Head directly north from the TV toward the dry river nearby. Just before the terrain drops off into the stream, you'll find the battery by some bushes.

The final item is a boot. Head southeast from the battery to find this little picnic spot. Just past it is the boot you're looking for.

With the search over, you'll now need to pay $10,000 for more "enlightenment." Crack open your phone and make two donations of $5,000 to the Epsilon website to unlock the next mission.

Bearing the Truth

Once the Epsilon logo appears, head there for the next mission. This time, Marnie tasks you with wearing Epsilon robes for 10 days. It's not as annoying as it sounds. Start by heading the Epsilon website and buy the robes for $25,000. Yes, that's really how much they cost. After a one-day cycle, they will appear in your wardrobe.

Now, the 10 days might seem like a lot, but there's a trick to this task - sleeping. Simply sleep repeatedly with Michael, as this passes a lot of time very quickly. Sleep repeatedly until the 10 days are up, and a new mission will unlock.

Delivering the Truth

This one is very straightforward. Head to the new Epsilon logo to meet Torn, who tasks you with flying a plane to an airfield. Hop in and fly to the destination to wrap this one up.

Exercising the Truth

Another Epsilon logo will soon appear on your map. Make sure you're wearing your Epsilon robes, and head there to meet up with the whole Epsilon crew once again. They're ready to send you to meet their leader, but first you must run five miles through the desert. No seriously.

You have two ways to complete this one: active and passive. For the active route, hold down that run button and have Michael run until you receive a notice that the five miles have been completed. For the passive route, you can use a rubber band and a small weighted object to tie the thumbstick back and weigh down the run button. Come back later to find the task completed.

Choose whichever method you prefer, and after the task is completed, you'll receive a call for the final Epsilon mission.

Unknowing the Truth

You've been summoned to the Epsilon Center by Cris Formage, founder of the Epsilon program. Head to the Epsilon logo while wearing the Epsilon robes to start the final mission. You'll also need at least $50,000 in your bank account - money which Cris adds to a store of cash in his car to be sent off to various investments.

After the cutscene and paying your money, follow Cris' security detail to the designated spot. Upon arriving, you have two choices: leave the car at the drop zone to complete your enlightenment, or steal Cris' car and make off with the money inside.

Should you choose to steal the car, take out your oppressors and get back into the car quickly - we recommend an RPG or sticky bombs to get rid of the chopper. Escape the cops (or alternatively, the Epsilon guards), and the mission will end. You'll get a nice chunk of change from Cris' car, and either way you'll receive an achievement/trophy for your effort. Enlightenment complete.

Epsilon Tract Locations

With the Epsilon Program complete, Marnie will send you a clue about finding an Epsilon Tract - there are 10 total to find, and Marnie sends a new clue every time you find the previous one. You've already unlocked the achievement/trophy at this point, and the tracts are simply for collecting. There's no reward for finding them all, but we've got all the locations if you still want to track them down:

Tract #1 - Mount Chiliad

The first Epsilon tract is atop Mount Chiliad. Head to the observation deck on the summit to find it.

Tract #2 - Palamino Highlands

Off the east coast of the Palamino Highlands is a bay. Take a dinghy out there and go diving to find the wreckage a of a massive boat. The second tract is on the ocean floor next to the wreck.

Tract #3 - Pacific Ocean

This one is a bit off (yet obviously, on) the map. Head to the large northern island at the tip top of the map. You'll find a tract here.

Tract #4 - Mount Chiliad

Marked on the map is the south entrance to the tunnel that runs through Mount Chiliad. Enter that tunnel and proceed until you reach a small set a of steps. The tract is atop them, against a door.

Tract #5 - Little Seoul

There is an old church in north Little Seoul. Head there to find the next track at the base of the building.

Tract #6 - Paleto Cove

The next tract is along the coast in Paleto Cove. In this area is the Sonar Collections Dock, a business also available for purchase. Head to the end of the dock and down the short steps to find the tract.

Tract #7 - Richman

The next tract is in swanky Richman. At the northern edge of the district is an exquisite mansion. Head up the private driveway to find a tract inside a set of stairs before the mansion entrance.

Tract #8 - Mount Chiliad

It's back to the game's big old mountain for this one. As you can see from the screenshot, the next tract is very near where you acquired the first one. Just walk down the slope and snatch it from under the tree.

Tract #9 - Downtown

You'll need a helicopter for this one. The Maze Bank is the tallest building in the game, and the penultimate tract sits atop it. Fly up to the roof for the high altitude collectible.

Tract #10 - Pacific Bluffs

In the southeast edge of Pacific Bluffs is a cemetery. In the center of said cemetery is a lake, and you'll find the final tract next to an island grave in that lake.

Congratulations - you've found all of the Epsilon Tracts!
