Journey in Style: An In-depth Horizn Luggage Review

' src=

Key takeaways:

  • Horizn Studios offers sustainable, German-engineered luggage designed for both durability and style.
  • The company’s H7 suitcase combines spaciousness, convenience, and environmental consciousness.
  • Users need to consider protective measures for the polycarbonate shell due to potential wear and tear during travel.
  • While the luggage lacks compartments and expandability, its minimalist design and ample space cater to different packing styles.
  • The brand embodies a balance between environmental responsibility and high-quality travel gear.

Horizn Studios: A Pioneering Travel Brand

Horizn Studios has been turning heads in the travel gear industry since its launch in 2015. As Europe’s first direct-to-consumer travel brand, the company has crafted a reputation for its German-engineered luggage, backpacks, and travel bags. The innovative brand makes a significant leap towards sustainable production with its Circle One line – a fully plant-based, biodegradable luxury luggage collection designed to never see a landfill. With Horizn Studios, you’re not just investing in durable luggage; you’re making an eco-friendly choice for a healthier planet.

The Horizn Studios H7 Suitcase: Your Travel Essential

In the lineup of Horizn Studios’ offerings, the H7 suitcase stands out as the flagship model. It boasts a 90-litre capacity and weighs a manageable 4.7 kg, making it the ideal companion for your extended or shared travels.

The suitcase, clad in a range of eye-catching colours, is built with a premium polycarbonate shell, partially recycled and 100% vegan. It’s a hard case model manufactured in a 99% waste-free process, making it as eco-conscious as it is durable. Moreover, the H7’s design includes four 360° Japanese spinner wheels for swift navigation through busy airports or city streets. This suitcase is your key to effortless, stylish, and sustainable travel.

Our Hands-on Horizn Luggage Review: The H7 Experience

After a seven-night trip with the H7, our appreciation for this suitcase has deepened. Despite its large capacity, it is compact enough to stow away under a hotel bed once emptied. The four-spinner wheel system makes it a breeze to manoeuvre, even when it’s packed to the brim.

One point to note is the susceptibility of the polycarbonate shell to wear and tear during rough handling. Our initial journey saw the suitcase endure some severe luggage handling, resulting in minor surface scratches. Despite this, the H7 proved to be resilient. However, we recommend considering additional protective measures for the shell for those keen on maintaining its pristine condition.

An Open Canvas: The H7’s Interior Design

The H7 suitcase opens up like two halves of an egg into two identical but separate compartments with flexible mesh screens that zip closed. A notable aspect of the H7 is its lack of compartments, pockets, dividers, or pouches inside either half. This open-space design allows you to personalize your packing approach, without the constraints of preset partitions.

On the other hand, those who prefer separate areas for different items might find this design a tad too minimalist. For this group, we recommend using packing cubes or smaller bags to organize the suitcase’s interior to your liking.

Additionally, the suitcase lacks an expandable zipper for extra packing space. Despite its absence, the generous 90-litre capacity of the H7 should accommodate most travel needs comfortably.

Sleek, Minimalist, and Robust: The H7’s Exterior Design

On the outside, the H7 suitcase exudes a minimalist, high-end aesthetic. With no exterior zippers, pockets, or added fluff, it’s a sleek, stylish piece of luggage that stands out in any crowd. Its solid handle enables easy rolling through airports and city streets, adding to the overall user-friendly experience.

In Conclusion: Horizn Luggage Review

Our in-depth review of Horizn Studios’ H7 suitcase reveals a compelling balance between sustainability, durability, and style. The company’s commitment to eco-friendly practices, coupled with German engineering, results in luggage that’s both high-quality and planet-friendly. Despite minor shortcomings like susceptibility to surface scratches and lack of interior compartments, the H7’s spacious design, maneuverability, and stylish appearance make it an excellent choice for sustainable travel. This Horizn luggage review just goes to show that eco-consciousness and luxurious travel gear are not mutually exclusive.

StarTribune

Only the sound engineer stopped believin' in journey as they roused a crowd in st. paul.

Tony Soprano made sure we'd never fuhgeddabout Journey.

Literally overnight, the San Francisco rockers became massive stars again in 2007 when their song "Don't Stop Believin'" aired at the conclusion of HBO's "The Sopranos," nearly 20 years after the band's last hit.

That 1981 smash went from an oldie to karaoke gold, a favorite on TV's "Glee," the closing number in the hair-band Broadway musical "Rock of Ages" and a sports venue standard.

As the band approaches its 50th anniversary next year, Journey is so confident that in concert, it no longer waits for the encore to deliver its signature song. On Monday at Xcel Energy Center, after two plodding 1980s pieces, it was time for the knock-out punch only 13 minutes into the show.

With Jonathan Cain's jaunty piano intro and Arnel Pineda's soaring vocals, "Believin'" became a gigantic kumbaya singalong like "Sweet Caroline." Everyone feels so good, so good, so good singin' about that small-town girl taking the midnight train to anywhere.

It was the emotional high point of the evening — and maybe the musical pinnacle, too, because the rest of the concert was problematic. In short, Deen Castronovo's kick drum was so loud that it drowned out many of Neal Schon's guitar solos, which is one of the attractions of a Journey concert.

Power ballads, including "Lights," "Faithfully" and "Lovin,' Touchin,' Squeezin'" fared more auspiciously. But still, the bass drum put more power than necessary in these quieter, more sensitive selections.

For a band that has had more personnel changes than the Minnesota Twins experienced this weekend, Journey probably needs to make one more — replace the sound engineer. Maybe a fixer from the Soprano family could, um, make arrangements.

Fans — all 14,000 in St. Paul — continue to believe in Journey even though the group hasn't released an album in 11 years.

A concertgoer needs a program to keep track of who's in this Rock & Roll Hall of Fame band. Of course, there is Schon, 68, who started the group in 1973 with other former members of Santana. On Monday, he managed to sparkle with passages that were alternately speedy and soulful on "Lights," jazz-fusion-flavored on "Who's Crying Now" and triumphantly soaring on "Any Way You Want It."

Cain has been on board since 1980. But there was an acrimonious split recently, leaving cofounding bassist Ross Valory and longtime drummer Steve Smith on the outside. Castronovo, a former replacement who did a 17-year stint with Journey, has rejoined on drums while Todd Jensen (Ozzy Osbourne, David Lee Roth) is filling in for bassist Randy Jackson, the former "American Idol" judge who had back surgery. Jason Derlatka joins on keyboards and occasional vocals.

Then there's Pineda — lead singer No. 4 — who was discovered in 2007 on YouTube singing in a Filipino Journey tribute band. Heyday singer Steve Perry, 73, who left Journey for a second time in 1998, is semiretired, though he put out a solo album in 2018 and a Christmas record last year.

Pineda, 54, has a similarly adenoidal voice, but way more energy and moves than Perry. On Monday, he was jumping, punching, clapping, cheerleading, air-guitaring, rarely standing still. And he has the right voice for Journey, perfectly evoking Perry with a hint of smokiness on "Lights" and "Open Arms."

The newest song Monday came from 1986, which was the end of Journey's heyday. But hits like "Wheel in the Sky" and "Any Way You Want It" kept on coming for 95 minutes.

Post-"Sopranos," Journey has smartly toured with other classic rock hitmakers, including Def Leppard, Santana and the Doobie Brothers. This time it was Toto, offering such yacht-rock staples as "Rosanna" and "Africa." Steve Lukather, the only original member, showed off his considerable guitar skills but when it came to lead vocals, he was the fifth best singer onstage. (The band is also on its fourth lead singer, Joseph Williams.)

Billy Idol was the previously announced opening act but he bowed out because of sinus problems. The Journey/Toto pairing might make sense because Lukather's son is engaged to Cain's daughter.

Jon Bream has been a music critic at the Star Tribune since 1975, making him the longest tenured pop critic at a U.S. daily newspaper. He has attended more than 8,000 concerts and written four books (on Prince, Led Zeppelin, Neil Diamond and Bob Dylan). Thus far, he has ignored readers’ suggestions that he take a music-appreciation class.

Over the years, it zoned in on designer-worthy shoes, and the world is so happy it did. Today you can find their shoes at Macy’s, DSW, Nordstrom Rack, and quite a few other popular retailers.

Journee Collection LILLIAN Review

If summer was a shoe, it would be LILLIAN . With 4 fun colors, you’ll fall for her in stripes the same way you’ll adore her animal print. With such an affordable price, don’t be surprised if you find yourself buying one of every kind.

Another reason LILLIAN is a true summer shoe? Aside from the fact that she’s a slide-on sandal (it doesn’t get much more perfect for the sunny season), these babes are comfortable to walk around in all day.

Unlike other slides, you won’t actually slide out of these. With 4mm of Comfort Foam in the footbed, customers say there’s no break-in period. Score! Get yours for $50 .

Journee Collection Reviews: What Do Customers Think?

Journee Collection Review

You’ll never know a woman until you walk a mile in her shoes. In this section of my Journee Collection review, I’ll dive deep into feedback from around the web to find out real women’s experiences with this brand.

Let’s start with a few ratings from the brand’s website, which shows an overall score of 4.4/5 stars and 4,607 reviews :

  • BIANCA: 4.8.5 stars , 88 reviews
  • KEDZIE: 4.7/5 stars , 85 reviews
  • RAYNA: 4.7/5 stars , 32 reviews
  • MAREK: 4.7/5 stars , 29 reviews

In the comments section for the BIANCA shoes, one Journee Collection review read, “ This shoe is comfortable and is a true white. So many sandals are off-white and just don’t cut it with white pants, or they are white but look like old lady nurse shoes. These are cute ! ”

Comments about the look and comfort of Journee shoes were common, but I headed over to Amazon to see if their shoppers had the same things to say. There, the Mary Jane Faux Leather Pumps scored 4.1/5 stars based on 1,908 global ratings . Here’s the rating snapshot:

  • 5 stars: 59%
  • 4 stars: 17&
  • 3 stars: 11%
  • 2 stars: 5%

Journee Collection Review

This next Journee Collection review emphasizes just how comfortable these shoes are:

“ I bought a black pair for a wedding years ago. They were so comfy, danced all night . quickly snatched up a beige pair, for work. 10hrs a day on my feet, and they were so comfortable. After a year of daily use, the heels started to wear down, and they looked tired. So I bought two more pairs (black & beige). Wore them till they died .”

I mean, if that doesn’t say comfy, I don’t know what will. Let’s consult one last source for good measure.

On Zappos, the HAYLINN Bootie has a 4/5 star score based on 15 reviews. One Journee Collection there read:

“ These boots look and fit like [designer] boots I own for pennies of price. I plan on getting these in 2 other colors. I am normally an 8.5….exchanged for an 8 which fit perfect so I would order down a size. ”

It’s true, these shoes look just like the expensive designer shoes they take after. In fact, many of Journee Collection’s designs do. The best part? Most of them cost under $60 .

Is Journee Collection Legit?

Journee Collection Review

Journee Collection is a well-loved and respected brand . Their shoes are sold in stores like DSW and Macy’s and customers rave about their comfort, looks, and price. What more could you ask for?

Is Journee Collection Worth It?

Journee Collection Review

Journee Collection ’s hoard of designer-style shoes is so gorgeous even Carrie Bradshaw would swoon.

First of all, I love how many different styles there are–there’s something for every woman here –from sensible and sweet to sexy and sassy . Oh, and did I mention they have wide-calf shoes and boots too? Something that ensures every girl’s needs are met.

I was pretty blown away at how closely some of their styles resemble designer shoes. The ELIDIA Quilted Slide looks just like Gucci’s Marmont GG Logo Sandals , and what’s better, they’re much more comfortable.

The Journee Collection reviews I found are off the charts too, and this all leads me to the fact that I’m super happy to say this brand is worth checking out . Run, don’t walk here, ladies!!

Journee Collection Promotions?

Journee Collection Review

Who owns Journee Collection?

Journee Collections umbrella company started out as one of the first drop shipping companies by entrepreneur Jeremy Pope. Inspired by his own childhood experience of not being able to afford the same shoes as the popular kids at school, he bootstrapped the company in 2001 as a way to make trend accessible to everyone.

All that to say that the Journee Collection trademark is owned by Pinnacle IP, LLC .

Are Journee Collection shoes comfortable?

In the feedback I found for this Journee Collection review, customers rave about how comfortable these shoes are.

And the funny thing is, that even though they look like expensive designer shoes, not only are they more affordable, but they’re much more comfortable too!

Are Journee Collection shoes waterproof?

It depends on the shoes you’re interested in. Their rubber boots are waterproof and their snow boots are ready for wet and cold conditions . For added water protection on vegan and fabric styles, the brand recommends using a waterproof spray.

I need a wide calf boot, which size is right for me?

With curvaceous calves, finding a boot that fits is tough! Thankfully, Journee Collection offers an entire section of wide-calf and extra wide-calf boots in sizes 6-12.

What is Journee Collection’s Shipping Policy?

Journee Collection offers free shipping on orders over $150 . This promotion is automatically applied at checkout. A few other tidbits you should know about how shipping works include:

  • Your shoes will arrive in 3-10 business days
  • Journee Collections ships within the USA only

Journee Collection offers a 30-day return policy for all unworn shoes. First-time shoppers who use Happy Returns get their first return free. There is a small shipping fee for all other customers.

For an extra $10 back, ask for a gift card instead of a refund. Here’s how the process works:

  • Start your return or exchange using the Happy Returns portal
  • You will be sent a QR code for processing
  • Find your nearest Happy Returns portal and drop off your package in person

Driving shoes offer a unique connection that no other shoe can.

Driving shoes have been specifically designed to have a thin, flexible rubber sole which allows for comfort and precise control when driving. In saying that, these shoes don’t just excel in functionality, they also boast exceptional style. Captivating drivers with their timeless allure and unique design.

Italy is a country synonymous with fast cars , luxury fashion, and culture. It’s no wonder that Gianni Mostile created the first driving shoe. Branded as ‘Car Shoe’ in 1963, the first-of-its-kind provided drivers with an alternative pair of shoes to avoid wearing out the soles on their formal loafers or brogues.

Today, driving shoes are no longer exclusively worn by Italian roadster driving executives. They hold a special place in the capsule wardrobes of those looking to elevate their style in the summer months.

Why you can trust Luxe Digital? Being at the intersection of fashion and automobiles is where our team at Luxe Digital thrives.

We are experts in our fields, meticulously combing through our sources to curate only the best products for our readers. When it comes to driving shoes, our selection offers a harmonious blend of style and functionality.

What are driving shoes?

As it states in the name, driving shoes were created for driving. Originally designed to be slipped on before long road trips to prevent the wear and tear of formal loafers and brogues. Also called driving moccasins or driving loafers , the shoe is typically crafted from leather, suede or nubuck. Characterized by small rubber pebbles covering the sole, this distinctive feature enhances traction between the shoe and the automobile’s pedals.

How to wear driving shoes?

While there are no set rules for driving shoes, we love the casual vibe given off when donned without socks. Or at least the invisible kind. There’s nothing more freeing than this style on a warm summer’s day in the French Riviera.

It’s important to keep it casual when wearing driving shoes. Think morning strolls on vacation, not your next client meeting. They are easily paired with chinos or cotton shorts for the ultimate casual look .

Entertainment | review: ‘tales of kenzera: zau’ translates the journey of grief into a video game, surgent studios founder creates a tribute to his late father in the form of a metroidvania game.

Zau has two masks that allow him to attack foes

When crafting “Tales of Kenzera: Zau,” Abubakar Salim thought of his father who passed away from cancer 10 years ago. The founder of Surgent Studios said his father believed that dead is dead, and that he didn’t want his son to spend time dwelling on his end.

That didn’t happen. Salim established a game studio, gathering a team of 30 to create a video game that’s a tribute to his father. “Tales of Kenzera” not only brings to life the Bantu culture of his father’s native Kenya, but it also carries part of Salim’s story. It’s about a boy named Keberi, who is mourning the death of his father. He searches through his late parent’s belongings and discovers a book he had written about Zau, a shaman of Amandla.

As Zau, players start off with the Sun and Moon masks. The Sun Mask specializes in powerful melee combat while the Moon Mask lets the protagonist attack from afar with projectiles. In combat, players need to switch between the two masks and use them strategically while dashing to avoid enemy attacks.

The masks have their own strengths and add powers over time. The Moon Mask can freeze foes so that players can switch to the more powerful Sun Mask to deal major damage. In other scenarios, players will have to match the mask to the color of foes’ Spirit Shields to break to defeat them. It may sound simple but when dealing with a several flying adversaries and shield-toting warriors, it becomes hectic.

Thankfully, combat does grow easier over time as players earn Ulogi soul energy from defeated foes and use those to earn Shaman Points. Players spend that resource on upgrades to Zau’s attacks to make them more powerful.

Zau jumps through to a new part of Tales of Kenzera Zau

PLATFORMING AS TOUGH AS COMBAT The interplay between masks also extends to the platforming. For example, an acquired power lets Zau destroy barriers when he has the Sun Mask and rebuild temporary platforms with his Moon Mask. Players will have to switch and activate the masks while jumping around a level. Elsewhere, a fiery spear for the Sun Mask is needed to activate switches that open doors, but players will have to race to the opening before time runs out.

Similar to other Metroidvania titles, areas are gated and they can be accessed via assorted powers, but for Zau, they’re hidden away in the Shaman Shrines scattered around the world. Other abilities include a glide that lets him jump longer distances, a directional dash and the ability to lasso anchor points to zip to other areas. It takes a lot of time to master these moves because they’re so dependent on timing and positioning. At times, players will want to throw the controller or pull their hair out because of the learning curve.

Interestingly enough, the powers lend themselves to speedy traversal, and that flows into the challenge of “Tales of Kenzera.” The difficulty doesn’t come from puzzle-like rooms but rather it’s focused on how quickly players can navigate obstacles. The harder scenarios require quick reaction time and knowing the intricacies of such abilities as the cool-down time on a directional dash.

Zau battles a heavy in Tales of Kenzera

THE DETAILS IN THE HIDDEN POWER-UPS Players learn the finer details of these platforming and combat mechanics by tackling the challenges hidden in the world. Players will run across Shaman challenges that reward players with trinkets, which in turn offer stat tweaks and bonuses. Players can mix and match these to complement a playstyle. Meanwhile, challenge rooms reward players with the ability to equip more trinkets at once, but they have to go through trials where they must defeat waves of foes. Other places such as Reflection Points are easier to locate and offer the big bonus of more health.

The harder moments, including ones with dark clouds, convey the raw emotions and mood of that grieving process. Meanwhile, the stories and characters at the heart of the world’s three regions explore other aspects of loss through narrative. Unfortunately, the storytelling in these parts of “Tales of Kenzera” don’t always hit the right notes. The backstory behind the little girl Liyana and Impundulu, the great spirit of the sky, is touching but others such as the one aged warrior Bomani, who worries about the fate of his son, is more underdeveloped. It doesn’t quite connect.

That makes the journey a mixed bag, but at its core, “Tales of Kenzera” still has an emotional truth. It’s a game about grieving and accepting loss just as Salim ultimately did. Deeper than that though, the process allowed him to keep his father’s memory and culture alive and share it with bigger world.

From a dating app to the altar.

Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff gushed to The Post about his fiancée, Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model Christen Harper, ahead of the power couple’s summer nuptials in California.

“She had a great time on her bachelorette [party] with her friends and we’re right in the thick of the wedding planning right now,” Goff said while discussing his recent partnership with  Jared Jewelers to honor Detroit, which is home to the 2024 NFL Draft starting Thursday night.

“It’s coming this summer, we’re excited. She’s been doing a great job with it. I’ve been fairly uninvolved… but I’ll give my input when asked,” he said, laughing. “But she’s done a really good job of getting everything ready for the wedding and the day-to-day. There’s tasks for her to handle kind of every day.”

As for Goff’s favorite part of wedding planning?

“The food, the drinks, the music and all that is the fun stuff,” he said. “I’ve definitely been a part of that.”

Harper recently returned from her bachelorette party, which took place in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, and featured a yacht excursion, theme nights and temporary tattoos of Goff’s face, according to social media photos.

“Those were good,” Goff said, laughing. “Those were funny, her friends made them.”

Goff  proposed  to Harper in June 2022.

“Still on cloud 9 from the best weekend of my life,”  she wrote on Instagram  at the time, including photos of her stunning oval-cut engagement ring.

Harper and Goff were  first linked  in January 2019, when he was with the Rams — and a month before Los Angeles faced Tom Brady and the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LIII. The Rams lost, 13-3.

She  confirmed their relationship  that February when she shared a photo of herself arriving at the Super Bowl in Atlanta.

The model previously shared that she immediately fell for Goff after first connecting on a dating app.

Their relationship began before Harper became a household name with Sports Illustrated Swimsuit, something Goff is especially proud of her for.

“It’s been fun to see her thrive in that now,” Goff said. “It was outside of her comfort zone when she initially applied for it and did the swim search, and then was chosen. She was a rookie of the year.

“It’s been fun and really cool to see her become comfortable on that platform and grow her voice in that way. I know she’s got a lot of things that she wants to do and help people — and she’s very passionate about animals, so helping animals, and all that. All of this has been helpful for that larger mission.”

Harper landed her first feature  in the 2021 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue  when she was selected in the publication’s Swimsearch that year.

She was named Sports Illustrated Swimsuit’s Co-Rookie of the Year in 2022, along with fitness model Katie Austin, after the pair won the Swimsearch the previous year.

Harper appeared in the 2023 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue and modeled a number of sultry bikinis on location in the Eastern Caribbean.

She also volunteers with organizations such as Girls Inc., Forgotten Harvest and Farm Sanctuary — and mentors young girls through self-esteem and positivity workshops at the Detroit Lions Academy in partnership with the Pure Heart Foundation.

Harper engrained herself in the Detroit community when Goff was traded to the Lions in January 2021 in a blockbuster exchange with the Rams for Matthew Stafford.

Giving back to the community is another way the couple enjoys their limited free time together with their busy schedules.

Goff and Jared Jewelry recognized  Give Merit , a Detroit-based nonprofit whose  FATE program  aims to help Detroit youth graduate and receive college scholarships with a $50,000 donation to increase the potential of Detroit’s next generation.

They also surprised three superfans with the same Breitling watches Goff gave to his offensive line at the end of the 2023 season — when Goff led the Lions to their first playoff win in 32 years, a 24-23 wild-card victory over the Rams on Jan. 14.

Goff was especially happy to give back to his city during an exciting time as Detroit is the home of the 2024 NFL Draft, which begins Thursday and runs through Saturday.

“We don’t pick until late in the first round, so we’ll have to wait a little while,” Goff said, referring to Detroit’s No. 29 overall selection. “I’m excited to be a part of it.”

The 2024 NFL Draft begins Thursday at 8 p.m. ET and will air on ESPN and ABC.

‘Cabaret’ Review: Eddie Redmayne and Gayle Rankin Lead High-Style Revival That Cuts to the Bone

Cabaret review Broadway

When Eddie Redmayne ’s slithering Emcee assures the audience at “ Cabaret ” that “here, life is beautiful,” he’s telling a half-truth. The August Wilson Theater, done up like the Kit Kat Club for a bracing, high-style, Broadway revival that opened there Sunday, has indeed been transformed into a house of pleasure. Entering through an alley and into fancified, jam-packed lobby bars feels like discovering a speakeasy inside a nightclub.

That twisted inner world is beautifully realized in a shadowy mélange of fringe and ruffles by the designer Tom Scutt, whose bawdy, under-the-big-top scenic and costume design is a feat of textures and deep, muted colors. Seating on either side of a circular center platform, skirted by VIP tables, lends the show an immersive feel, aided by Isabella Byrd’s sharp, captivating lighting. Chic, circus-clown makeup (by Guy Common) shrouding the eyes of Redmayne and the limber ensemble suggests a sinister air of delirium as the principal players are introduced.

Already near the end of her rope, Gayle Rankin’s coarse, determined Sally Bowles tries desperately to keep from spinning out before coming completely and furiously unraveled (the actor’s eviscerating performance of the title song is destined to become the stuff of you-had-to-see-her lore). Stripped of the delusions often associated with the expendable headliner, the Sally of Frecknall’s staging, which transfers here from London’s West End , is a raw, trembling realist only thinly disguised as a romantic.

The tender romance between Bebe Neuwirth ’s elegant and maternal Fraulein Schneider and the moony-eyed fruit seller Herr Schultz (Stephen Skybell) spins a sweet and aching emotional thread. Neuwirth’s shattering performance of “What Would You Do?” shows an indomitable woman piecing herself back together one trembling note at a time.

All that stripped-down humanity onstage — from the entrails of broken lovers to the dancers’ carnal gyrations (choreography is by Julia Cheng) — make Redmayne’s Emcee a jarring exception. An otherworldly salamander of a narrator, he hunches over, Gollum-like, gnawing on every syllable as if it were his last meal. It’s a fiercely committed performance, but a mannered one, too. For the Emcee to exist as a creature apart makes narrative sense, but Redmayne’s remoteness drains some of the force from what is otherwise a grounded, gut-punching take on a disturbingly timely story.

Of course, “Cabaret” is partly a warning about the excess and social blindness represented by pricey tickets and a sexy night out as the world burns. But it’s also a reminder to enjoy every last minute while you can.

Cocoon Review: World-Hopping Wonders

Quick verdict.

C ocoon reminds me a lot of 2012’s Journey. Not in terms of gameplay or art style, but in the way both deliver unique and memorable experiences despite simple gameplay mechanics. Both Journey and Cocoon have basic controls, focusing primarily on character movement and offering limited commands. Like Journey, Cocoon is best experienced when you know as little as possible about the game.

In an era of lengthy game tutorials, Cocoon’s minimalist teaching approach isn’t groundbreaking but is refreshing. The game avoids significant handholding, and its brilliance lies in the satisfaction of piecing together puzzles with minimal guidance. Coupled with a subtly powerful soundtrack and visually stunning environments, Cocoon stands as one of the most unforgettable games of 2023.

Dream Within a Dream

The concept of Cocoon is a simple one: a unique take on the puzzle adventure genre in which each world exists within an orb carried by your character. However, it’s the creative design of the puzzles by Jeppe Carlsen, who was also the lead gameplay designer of Limbo and Inside, that makes Cocoon such a memorable adventure. The game sets the tone right from the start with its lack of dialogue or popup boxes to explain its mechanics. Instead, it leaves it entirely up to you to figure out where to go and what to do, which embraces a sense of delightful freedom.

As with many puzzle games, Cocoon begins with relatively simple challenges. It won’t hold your hand or tell you explicitly what to do, but it will give you minimal guidance, encouraging trial and error. The central gameplay element involves the orbs carried by your character. As you advance, you’ll come across a variety of these orbs, each offering a unique mechanic. For example, the orange orb grants the ability to walk across a path that can only be seen and accessed while holding the orb. Additionally, each orb serves as its own unique world, complete with distinct biomes, themes, and a guardian that serves as a boss battle.

This is, of course, an oversimplification of what Cocoon has to offer. The game’s creativity becomes evident as you access more orbs, creating an almost Inception-like experience. The puzzles progressively get more and more complex, but without a jarring increase in complexity. Cocoon excels in making players feel as though they’ve figured everything out independently, even when solutions are multi-layered. Its approach is akin to LEGOs: starting with basic pieces and building them into a complex masterpiece.

Silken Sounds

On developer Geometric Interactive’s website, the company states that its games “are designed around unique gameplay ideas, with striking graphics and atmospheric sound created in service of the interactive experience.” In addition to the previously mentioned Jeppe Carlsen, the other co-founder of Geometric Interactive is programmer and composer Jakob Schmid. The influence of both Carlsen and Schmid is evident throughout Cocoon, especially since it’s the studio’s first game.

I mention this because I believe Geometric Interactive actually undersells just how well Cocoon embraces the company’s design mantra. There are understated but brilliantly designed audio cues throughout the game that play when you’re on the right path to solving a puzzle. While not a new concept in gaming, the way these cues are integrated in Cocoon is so subtle that you may not notice them until you realize they serve as a reward for puzzle-solving. At first, you think it’s just background music playing, but as you progress, you’ll realize it’s a celebration of sorts. This feature, combined with a soundtrack that masterfully complements the game’s environments, truly deserves praise.

Visual Symphony

The wonderfully crafted soundtrack is complemented by aesthetically pleasing worlds featuring a diverse and colorful palette. Every aspect of Cocoon exudes creativity and style, much of which shines through in its contrasting environments. One moment you’re traversing a remote desert, and the next you’re in a water-filled landscape. The transition between worlds is also executed through some of the slickest animations I’ve seen in the realm of world-hopping.

As you progress, the game introduces a greater variety of environments. The unique imagery and shades of colors in each environment reinforce the subtle undertones of the overall journey. Both the environments and puzzles grow more complex as you advance. In Cocoon, the whole experience is greater than the sum of its individual parts. Each component, like its art style, is simple, but collectively they make Cocoon one of the most memorable games of 2023 — and that says a lot, considering all the games that have released this year.

The Top Games to Play in April 2024 - FullCleared

Woven worlds.

While I do have a lot of praise for Cocoon, the game isn’t a perfect experience. As I mentioned previously, each orb has its own guardian that serves as a boss fight. However, since Cocoon is fundamentally a puzzle game, these boss fights are puzzles in their own right. There isn’t combat in the traditional sense, although there are some combat-like mechanics akin to what you’d find in a basic 2D side-scrolling game. While overall these boss fights are enjoyable because they break up the routine of Cocoon, they’re also the main source of annoyance in the game. This is mainly because failing the mechanics requires you to restart the fight. This can become tedious as you work through the various phases of each boss. Depending on your patience and learning speed, these boss fights may feel like a real chore.

That being said, Cocoon is designed without a fail state. If you get caught by the guardian, you’ll only need a few seconds to walk back to the start of the encounter. More importantly, you won’t find yourself stuck in a puzzle needing to load a previous save. The game meticulously sets up safeguards, like moving platforms out of reach, to ensure you don’t get stuck. If you do find yourself stuck in Cocoon, you’ve probably overlooked something crucial. While many games today do have bugs that can make you stuck, my experience with Cocoon has been smooth and bug-free. It’s a well-polished game, which is praiseworthy (sadly) given the bugs in some recent releases.

The Brilliance of Simplicity

Completing Cocoon can take anywhere from five to eight hours, depending on how thoroughly you want to explore the worlds. If you want to be a completionist, you can free hidden ancestors, which translates to trophies or achievements. Of course, it also depends on how quickly you understand the puzzle mechanics as they become more complex as you progress. Still, the core mechanics of this game are basic in nature, considering you can only move and use a single button to initiate commands. The wonder lies in the different types of orbs you obtain through the adventure, and what they’re capable of doing.

To me, a puzzle game can only be considered successful if it makes the player feel as if they solved everything on their own. Cocoon offers this uniquely satisfying experience when everything clicks and you figure out what clever action you need to take to progress. Everything comes together brilliantly at the end as well, where it combines every little bit you’ve learned throughout the experience.

Cocoon defies the typical checkboxes that modern-day AAA developers aim to fulfill when developing a game. It doesn’t have memorable characters or a complex, moving story. There’s no debate here about boring, filler side quests or arguments about gender pronouns. Instead, the team at Geometric Interactive knew exactly the type of game it wanted to create and executed that to near perfection. Even if you aren’t a fan of puzzle games or video games in general, I’d say it’s an experience worth trying. Much like Journey before it over a decade ago, Cocoon stands tall by doing things its own way.

Cocoon was released on September 29, 2023 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC. This review is based on a purchased retail copy of the game on PC. The Mixed Martial Artist Who Became the King of Tidy Eating

Rapturously messy food reviews are all over the internet. Keith Lee’s discreet eating style rises above them all.

journey in style reviews

By Aaron Timms

Keith Lee is sitting in the passenger seat of a car outside Juanderful Tacos in Phoenix. “I’m going to show you everything we got, and we’re going to try it and rate it 1 through 10,” he announces to his 16.1 million TikTok followers, his hands brought together in a steeple. He presents four partly unwrapped tacos for viewers’ consideration: pollo, carne asada, cabeza and a pollo quesataco. He attacks the quesataco first, sprinkling a pinch of chopped onion and cilantro over its innards, topping everything off with salsa verde and a squeeze of lime. He displays the taco’s cross-section for the camera, then carefully introduces one end of the oozing canoe — a mass of meat, cheese and salsa already lugeing toward the limits of its enclosure — into his mouth.

The bite is comprehensive. Every ingredient makes it in. It is also clean: There is no residue left around Lee’s lips. A few seconds of moistly entranced chewing follow before Lee brings his nontaco hand to his mouth and announces — from behind a guard of fingers laced with a single streak of green sauce — “It’s so fresh, crisp, seasoned: 8.7 out of 10. I need about six of these though, I ain’t gonna lie to you. Six or seven.”

He is comfortably one of the cleanest professional eaters at work today.

Lee proceeds to eat the three remaining tacos, pausing only to rave about their quality. But each time he does so, it’s from behind one hand, which is always politely shielding his mouth. He even apologizes for the watery fleck of salsa still trailing across his fingers: “Excuse my hands. I got messy.”

In the comments, Lee’s followers try to prepare Juanderful Tacos for the torrent of business that restaurants face once they’ve received a Keith Lee tick of approval. (“Get ready tomorrow!”) Among the growing ranks of online food influencers — all the professional and semiprofessional eaters jawing straight into the camera on TikTok, YouTube and Instagram — few are bigger or more influential than Lee. He turned to food reviewing as his first career, in mixed martial arts, was coming to an end, and in the short time since, he’s amassed not only millions of followers but also the power to change restaurants’ fortunes and provoke hysterical debate in some of the cities he visits. He’s admired for the attention he pays to small, independent businesses; for his closeness to his family, which accompanies him on cross-country food tours; for his appreciation of good service and generosity with tips.

Yet there’s been little discussion of his uniquely dainty eating style, which is a key element of his aesthetic and a leading source, I believe, of his success.

Like many of the reviewers who’ve achieved popularity on social apps, Lee performs most of his food criticism in his car — a cramped and inhospitable environment for consumption of the saucy, sticky, fried and gloop-rich takeaway foods that dominate critical attention in straight-to-camera TikTok reviews. The “money shot” of food being inserted into mouth, usually to a soundtrack of proto-sexual groans, has long been a key element of food TV. But lately, online food culture has entered an “oral” era that puts the fleshy, wettened mouth — at once destructive and violated in the act of ingestion — at the center of the spectacle. There seems to be a growing emphasis, among popular food accounts, on the messiness of the overflowing orifice as individual eaters shovel food down their throats; online, the mouth has become a canvas for thick spacklings of various juices, pastes, condiments and whips.

If you think I’m exaggerating, consider a recent post from @sanaaeats, in which the popular culinary influencer (1.6 million followers across TikTok and Instagram) feeds herself fingers of chicken, Texas toast and crinkle-cut fries drowned in a jumbo cup of Raising Cane’s sauce — the camera lingering on each bite just long enough to reveal the viscous splatter around her mouth. Then there’s @lukefoods (1.3 million followers): “Come to me, baby, come to me,” he croons, in the driver’s seat of his car, before dunking a paddle of naan into a portable motorized fountain of butter chicken, then wedging the smothered bread into his mouth in a way that leaves his lips ringed with a rusty smear. Even among those reviewers not confined to their cars, the lure of the deep oral reveal remains strong. The Staten Island native @meals_by_cug (4 million followers), whose food account doubles as a pastiche of Italian American culture, frequently delivers his one-liners through a mouth filled with half-chewed rigatoni or meatball parm, while the English food reviewer @mashtag_brady (2.2 million followers) posts videos of food not only entering his mouth but exiting as well. (A recent account of his attempt to eat a raw oyster for the first time — “This is going to be mingin’, mate” — concluded with him announcing to the camera through a beard of brown vomit: “Well, I didn’t like that.” ) The attention economy rewards sensationalism, pushing sloppy eaters toward ever-sloppier stunts of consumption — but also satisfying, I think, a collective craving for mess, disorder and irresponsibility amid the bland conformism of algorithmic culture.

Amid this mouthy excess, the discreet, almost demure way in which Lee feeds himself — the precise bites, the careful chewing, the mouth politely covered as he offers his critique of the food inside — seems quaintly old-fashioned. This isn’t to say that Lee never gets stuff on his face; we all do. But he is comfortably one of the cleanest professional eaters at work today. For one recent review, when the restaurant failed to provide any utensils, Lee managed to eat a beef pancake, chicken and vegetable won tons in chili sauce, a spiralized coil of cucumber, chicken xiao long bao (“Excuse me if I pronounced that wrong”) and chicken potstickers, all using nothing but his hands. Where other food influencers might have used this as an invitation to take a bath in their dinner, Lee’s fingers and mouth remained almost completely spotless, to the very end.

The grace of Lee’s eating style is all the more striking when you consider the messily physical business to which he previously devoted himself. As an MMA fighter, Lee contested 13 professional bouts (eight wins, five losses) using the nickname Killa. In his final fight for the Bellator promotion, in August 2021, he lost to Jornel Lugo. The contest lasted only five minutes, and ended once Lee, who was 24 at the time, lost consciousness under the force of Lugo’s chokehold, his arms flapping weakly in a doomed attempt to forestall defeat. In footage of the bout, Lee stumbles around the arena in a daze once the fight stops, his face ripped and busted, a bright jam of blood covering his mouth and nose.

As a food critic, Lee has discovered precisely the kind of delicacy and control that are stripped away in the ring. The mouth is recovered; the arms are restored to a position of protective strength. Killa, now an Eata, has traded the enclosure of the MMA cage for that of the front seat, the brutality of the chokehold for the elegance of the coiled cucumber. Where his peers marinate in excess, he maintains order. His discipline at the point of ingestion makes him stand out against the internet’s fat-saturated foodscape.

Violence cannot be avoided entirely, even when it comes to food; Lee attracts such attention that he recently announced that a security team would accompany his family on a forthcoming trip to Atlanta. (“There’s people with us that are legal and licensed,” he said. “We don’t want to have to use them, but we will.”) But in the bubble of his car, as he’s eating, Lee creates a perfectly serene space in which the viciousness of the world outside is kept at bay. Before the dashboard’s rapt millions, whenever tacos or patties or potstickers are up for discussion, civility and decorum briefly have the upper hand.

Journey Reintroduce Themselves to a New Generation at Lollapalooza 2021

By Nina Corcoran

Nina Corcoran

As soon as Lollapalooza’s lineup was announced this year, fans online found themselves ogling, confused, at one band in particular: Journey . Although their legendary career needed no introduction, their inclusion at this particular festival did. Lollapalooza is known to cater to underage suburbanites and 20-somethings from the Midwest. There’s a 19-year age gap between the formation of Journey and that of Modest Mouse, the next oldest band on Lollapalooza’s bill this year. Only three other acts also got their start before this century: Jimmy Eat World, Limp Bizkit, and Foo Fighters.

Two hours before their set began, Journey sold around 500 shirts at the merch table in total — a “rough” turnout according to the store manager. At the same time, Limp Bizkit was performing on the same stage immediately before them. The fact the ‘90s rap-rock band was once an unstoppable force on the charts is a mind-boggling phenomenon of its own, and yet, one could argue, they’re coming back in vogue as a sarcastic favorite among millennials following the Woodstock ’99 documentary .

So when Journey finally took the stage just after 8:00 P.M., it was a pleasant surprise to see a sizable group of fans already gathered around the stage, with hundreds more dotting the lawn on blankets. Journey proved themselves to be festival ready with “Separate Ways (Worlds Apart),” a single that still packs a punch nearly 40 years later and sent stragglers into a sprint to get a closer view of Neal Schon in action. Arnel Pineda, the band’s lead singer since 2007, earned audible praise from teens in the back with his festival outfit: flashy sunglasses, bleached white jeans, and a white designer sweatshirt emblazoned with a red apple bearing the Gucci logo. Journey may be old, but they presented themselves as fresh favorites onstage.

Editor’s picks

The 250 greatest guitarists of all time, the 500 greatest albums of all time, the 50 worst decisions in movie history, every awful thing trump has promised to do in a second term.

It helps that they let Schon take the steering wheel early on. He unfurled a dozen brimful solos across their set. Watching him play, it’s obvious why Guitar Center hopefuls pass the time trying to effortlessly whip out 100-note solos; people like Schon make it look easy.

The same was true for bassist Marco Mendoza and drummer Deen Castronovo when they stole the spotlight on the gritty “La Do Da,” despite a dull call-and-response that fell flat before their respective solos. Later, older fans erupted into cheers when Journey launched into “Wheel in the Sky” where Pineda got to show off the depth of his vocal range. After turning it over to the rest of the band for a brief jam, he couldn’t help but rock out, jumping and clapping, lost in the moment of their musicianship.

As it turned out, Journey was the ideal band to do the impossible at Lollapalooza: Draw complete families to the festival on an otherwise youth-oriented lineup day. While kids at other stages were busy rapping along to Post Malone or breaking out a sweat to internet phenomenon Marc Rebillet, those watching Journey with their parents were experiencing some good old fashioned bonding time.

One couple swayed along to “Open Arms” with a toddler hoisted atop their shoulders as they rocked their youngest in a stroller, a yellow string of lights roped around its handle. Another family of four appeared to join forces with their son’s friends, who nodded along on a beach towel to “Lights” while the rest stood to watch. The opening notes of “Stone in Love” prompted their teenage daughter to throw both hands in the air, yelp in surprise, and whip around to face her mom. Without missing a beat, the two immediately leaned into one another and started singing along.

The majority of people gathered around, however, were clearly waiting for Journey to break out the hits. When Pineda asked the crowd how they were doing after the one-hour mark, a man in his 20s barked at him to play “Don’t Stop Believin’.” Instead, they bounced back with “Lovin’, Touchin’, Squeezin’.” By then, thousands of younger attendees were sprawled on the ground around the stage’s perimeter, impervious and content to lounge until the two songs they wanted to post on social media popped up.

Eventually, the wait paid off. Journey sandwiched “Faithfully,” “Any Way You Want It,” and “Don’t Stop Believin’” into the final moments of their set and Pineda, who was pitch-perfect all night, never missed a note. Thousands of people seized the moment and hung onto the feeling, their voices flooding the festival grounds as they sang along and fireworks exploded above the stage.

Journey are veteran professionals when it comes to throwing entertaining concerts, and the fans upfront knew that from experience. But for the young festivalgoers and indifferent onlookers who expected a weathered band of baby boomers to twiddle their thumbs for an hour before breaking out jukebox staples, they got to experience arguably the most underrated feeling a music festival can offer: discovering a different side to an artist’s discography that you overlooked up until then.

Who should buy the NOBULL Journey

The Journey from NOBULL is likely to be a great match for you if:

  • you are a NOBULL fan and a frequent gym goer who needs a running shoe to match your NOBULL Trainers
  • you need a comfortable shoe for moderate miles and all-day wear that will also turn heads with its style
  • you want to experience the responsiveness of a nylon plate paired with the advanced PEBA foam

Nobull-Runner-Plus-review

Who should not buy

Given that the Journey is a bit of a “franken-shoe,” it doesn’t fall into any of the established categories.

So, depending on your situation, you may prefer a more specific type of shoe:

  • for a comfortable, soft, and no-frills daily trainer that doesn’t break the bank, we recommend trying the ASICS Gel Nimbus 25 or Brooks Ghost 15
  • if you want a speedy plated shoe to set new PBs, we think you should consider the Saucony Endorphin Speed 3 or ASICS Novablast 3 .

Journey has extra cushioning

The sole on the NOBULL Journey looks so thick that it made us feel unsure at first glance. It appears to be rather bulky and even boxy.

Our caliper shows that the heel stack is indeed a little thicker than most shoes. We measured it at 35.2 mm (insole included) which is about 2 mm taller than the average.

Nobull-Runner-Plus-heel-stack

We also checked the heel-to-toe drop and it turned out to be 9.4 mm, which is typical for a daily trainer .

Nobull-Runner-Plus-forefoot-stack

However, once on the foot, the Journey was a nice surprise for us. The shoe does an amazing job absorbing the impact with all that cush!

This made our longer runs quite enjoyable as the shoe was very easy on the knees and ankles. There was no considerable fatigue the next day.

Nobull-Runner-Plus-chunky-sole

It is just as perfect for long periods of walking and we can whole-heartedly recommend it as an all-day wear shoe.

A fun and propelling ride of the Journey

Running in this NOBULL shoe felt bouncy, springy, and responsive. We were impressed with the shoe’s energy return and speed even on the shorter runs!

Pretty plush cushioning

According to the brand, the Journey comes with a "100% PEBAX" foam. Even though we didn't find it to be as plush as some of the popular PEBA-based shoes, it left a pretty pleasant aftertaste in our legs.

Checking the heel portion of the foam with a durometer, we got 15.5 HA. This measurement puts the Journey into the soft bunch as it proves to be 55% softer than the average.

Disclaimer: The photo shows 1 out of 5 measurements that we took with the durometer to ensure accuracy.

Nobull-Runner-Plus-foam-softness-durometer

The PEBA is also extensively advertised as a temperature-resistant foam, so we checked how 20 minutes in the freezer would affect its softness. The midsole ended up getting 53.2% firmer. This is good to keep in mind if you plan to run on a chilly day.

On a positive note, even after being "frozen," the foam is 15% softer than most shoes at room temperature.

Nylon plate makes it less flexible yet propulsive

The reason why this NOBULL shoe doesn't feel quite like a marshmallow underfoot is the presence of a nylon plate. It takes away from the plushness and makes the shoe less flexible, thus creating that propelling push-off.

The Journey sits right at the average in terms of flexibility. Our force gauge tool shows that it takes 30.6N to bend the shoe to a 90-degree angle. This is a typical level of flexibility for a road running shoe these days.

Disclaimer: We take this flexibility measurement 5 times to ensure accuracy.

There is also some torsional stiffness to the NOBULL Journey. Twisting it in our manual flexibility test, we rated it as 3 out of 5 (where 5 is the stiffest).

NOBULL Journey is surprisingly stable

Seeing all that stack height at first made us worried about feeling wobbly and unstable in the shoe.

However, the shoe's sufficiently wide base and a moderate amount of torsional stiffness made us feel more reassured.

Measuring the shoe's base with a caliper, we got 113.1 mm in the forefoot and 89.2 mm in the heel. This is exactly the same as the average of road running shoes.

Airy shoe for summer runs

The Journey also turned out to be a great choice for warm days. Its wide-open mesh felt light and breathable and kept our feet cool even on the warmest days.

You can also see the upper mesh transparency in the video below. It is such a see-through material, that you may need to watch out for the color of socks you wear with the shoe because it will show through.

True to size with a roomy toebox

We think that you should be safe going with your regular running shoe size in the NOBULL Journey. But if it’s going to be your first NOBULL shoe and you are on the fence, check with the brand’s official size chart . As long as you get the right size, you can expect a comfortable step-in feel straight from the box.

Nobull-Runner-Plus-fit

We have also enjoyed the roominess of the shoe's toebox quite a lot! As you can see, it's got a square shape as opposed to a tapered one.

Nobull-Runner-Plus-fit-and-toebox

In addition, the upper fabric is quite forgiving too which makes the fit the Journey that much more accommodating.

Even the fact that the widest part of the toebox is slightly narrower than average doesn't seem to rain on the shoe's parade. It is well compensated for.

Nobull-Runner-Plus-toebox-width

Lockdown could be improved

To our regret, the tongue and laces of the shoe did cause some trouble.

We found it difficult to cinch the laces tightly because of the hard plastic eyelets. And even when we did manage to do that, we still experienced some heel slippage.

We believe that the shoe could benefit from adding some Achilles pillows.

Nobull-Runner-Plus-heel-hold

When manually checking the shoe's heel counter, we found that it is on the flexible side. Based on our subjective assessment, it scores 2 out of 5 (where 5 is the stiffest).

The tongue was another point of indignation for us. It is quite lightly padded (3.6 mm) compared to the average (5.8 mm) and it has a tendency to slip around and bunch up on the side.

Nobull-Runner-Plus-tongue-thickness

Unfortunately, even the fact that it's gusseted didn't help the tongue issue of the NOBULL Journey.

Nobull-Runner-Plus-gusseted-tongue

It may look flimsy but it's nowhere near that

We must admit that the visual aspect of the shoe's mesh and foam made us doubt its durability. These look so cheap!

But having put this NOBULL shoe through a 30-mile wringer, it made us say "wow!" Both the sole and the upper held up to the test with no major wear and tear!

Nobull-Runner-Plus-outsole-thickness

Our measurement shows that the rubber is 3.2 mm thick which is close to the typical outsole thickness among running shoes (3.6).

Hard to believe but the NOBULL Journey is light!

Weighing the NOBULL Journey in a men's US size 9, we got 9.4 oz (266g) on the scale. This is the same as the average of road running shoes in our lab.

It is only slightly heavier than the average weight of shoes with a 35-36 mm stack height (8.9 oz /253g).

Nobull-Runner-Plus-lightweight

Traction is a mixed bag

On dry surfaces, you can expect a stellar grip from the NOBULL Journey. However, we didn't feel as surefooted on wet ground.

Nobull-Runner-Plus-outsole

Style is something else

Love or hate the look but the NOBULL Journey just can't leave you indifferent. If you want to see people cut eyes at your shoes, this is the way to go.

We also can't help but take note of the shoe's endless colorways, both neutral and multi-colored. Ladies may take special note of the floral patterns.

The reflective Nobull logo is a nice touch too!

The price is too much

Considering all the nice things that the NOBULL Journey brings to the table, we still think that the brand went a little overboard with the Journey's price. Some of its colorways cost as much as $200!!

If you are looking purely for performance in a running shoe, we consider it unreasonable because there are a lot of serious "super shoes" at the same price! Meanwhile, the NOBULL Journey still has a lot of room for improvement.
