The A Journey to Love ending has gotten C-drama fans abuzz as it is packed with lots of big moments . Thus, it’s no surprise that many wuxia drama fans had a lot to say about its ending online.

Of course, some viewers may still be wondering what happened in the end, especially regarding the main characters. After all, the ending does leave some elements open to interpretation.

Perhaps the biggest thing about the show’s ending is the fact that the main pairing Ren Ru Yi and Ning Yuan Zhou seem to have died, at least based on earlier fan reactions.

Many fans noted that there was no final goodbye made between the two. There was also no corpse shown. Because of this many believe that Ren Ru Yi and Ning Yuan Zhou survived the drama’s finale.

Soon after the episode was released, there have been lots of alternate interpretations online regarding the status of the two characters.

For instance, a Reddit discussion thread about the finale interpreted the ending to be that the main couple is alive.

The prevailing theory here is that the two faked their deaths and began living quite lives together.

While there are still some debates online about what truly happened in the end, the show seems to be pretty definitive when it comes to the other character deaths.

Ren Ru Yi and Ning Yuan Zhou are the primary characters, but many viewers have also fallen in love with the show’s entertaining supporting cast.

Sadly, the A Journey to Love ending was a tragic one for the rest of the group. That’s because Yu Shi San, Yuan Lu, and Qian Zhao died in the finale.

At least fans seemed to take solace in the fact that they died heroic deaths. This doesn’t seem to be enough for some fans though as there are some complaints about the ending.

On the whole though, the reception for the series is still positive based on online discussions on sites like Reddit.

Even though there are complaints about the ending, many viewers still love the show overall thanks to its memorable characters and moments.

Plot Synopsis

"A Journey to Love" tells the legendary adventure story of apassionate small team led by Ren Ru Yi and Ning Yuanzhou, traveling from Wu Du to An Du, overcoming obstacles and fighting side by side.

Ren Ru Yi, the former Left Envoy of the Crimson Robe, fakes his death and infiltrates Wu Du, where he unexpectedly meets Ning Yuanzhou, who used to be the Vice Master of the SixPaths Hall. Ning Yuanzhou, who returned from the battlefield, only wants to live apeaceful life in the countryside. However, in order toprove his innocence to his former colleagues and retuto the SixPaths Hall, he embarks on a journey to save the country. They gather a groupofpeople, including Yu Shisan, Yuanlu, Qian Zhao, and Sun Lang, to escortPrincess Yang Ying, who disguises herself as a man, on a diplomatic mission.

Inpursuit of the truth behind the death of the Empress Zhaojie, who was their benefactor, Ren Ru Yi and Ning Yuanzhou form apartnershipand join the others on the journey to An Du. This diverse groupofpeople forms an impromptu team and embarks on a road tripadventure with an uncertain future.

After watching the first six episodes , I absolutely love Liu Yu Ning's portrayal of Ning Yuan Zhou. One crucial aspect is his respect for women. In the sixth episode, when Yu Shi San repeatedly tries to show interest in Ren Ru Yi, Ning Yuan Zhou sternly tells him, "Ren Ru Yi is our business partner, not a woman you can casually tease. As long as she hasn't shown any signs of favor towards you, every word of your love pursuit is a joke, a lack of respect, especially in front of others.

In Ning Yuan Zhou's perspective, if a man repeatedly seeks love from a woman without any indication or hint of reciprocation, it becomes harassment and a tremendous lack of respect towards her. If such actions occur in public, it is even more egregious. Ning Yuan Zhou's words are worth every man memorizing repeatedly. Don't think that just because you like someone, you can disregard the woman's feelings and profess love without considering the context or boundaries.

Such behavior not only disrespects the woman but also demonstrates a lack of self-love, self-respect, and shamelessness on the part of the man. In fact, there is a group of men who adhere to the belief that persistently pursuing someone will eventually lead to success. When they develop an interest in a woman, they employ various methods to pursue her.

There was a time when it became trendy for men to publicly kneel and confess their love, even going as far as claiming they would remain kneeling until the woman agreed, placing the woman in an extremely awkward position. Hopefully, such incidents will no longer occur in the future.

For Ning Yuan Zhou, Ren Ru Yi is the biggest temptation he has encountered. Faced with such a readily available woman, many men would immediately accept her advances. However, Ning Yuan Zhou exercises rational restraint because he believes that such actions should only be done with the person he truly loves. At present, he hasn't fallen in love with Ren Ru Yi, so he mustn't overstep boundaries, especially considering his responsibility to help clear the name of his Tian Dao brothers.

Understanding how to respect women to the greatest extent possible, being able to reject tremendous temptations with rationality, and practicing self-love... Anyone who watches a male lead like this would fall in love with him, even if it's only from watching this particular scene. There should be many people who become infatuated with Ning Yuan Zhou.

C-drama fans can look forward to this week (April 22 – 28) as some of the most-anticipated dramas are releasing their new episodes. While some dramas will carry out their weekly journey, new dramas like Will Love in Spring , Gone with the Wind , and My Divine Emissary will  premiere  this week. These shows will fall under the genres of romance, history, thriller, and more.

Here is a list of C-dramas that are releasing new episodes this week:

1. Will Love in Spring

This romantic C-drama is all set to meet viewers on April 22, 2024 . It features Li Xian and Zhou Yutong in the lead roles. It is an adaptation of the web novel Qing Ren, written by She Mu Si. The drama tells the love story of Chen Mai Dong (Li Xian), a funeral make-up artist, and Zhuang Jie (Zhou Yutong), a career-oriented woman from the city. They both are lonely and face their own hardships. Zhuang Jie moves to her hometown, and they cross paths on a blind date.

Will Love in Spring will be available for streaming on  Tencent Video and We TV.

2. Gone with the Wind

This thriller C-drama will premiere on April 27, 2024 . It is an adaptation of the novel Xiao Nan Feng, penned by Jiu Yue Xi. It will feature Tong Yao and Zhang Xin Cheng in the main roles. Gone with the Wind will be available for streaming on Youku .

3. My Divine Emissary

This historical romance C-drama finished filming in 2021 and will premiere on April 22, 2024 . It features Li Zi Xuan and Chen Jing Ke in the main roles. It will tell the story of Li Meng Meng (Li Zi Xuan), who is poor at her studies. A strange but fantastic phenomenon takes her to the world of the Qi Kingdom. She is hailed as their envoy. She soon forms a bond with their young king and uses her modern knowledge to help him out.

My Divine Emissary will be available for streaming on Youku.

4. Best Choice Ever (Ep 29 – 37)

This ongoing modern C-drama is scheduled to release its season finale on April 26, 2024 . It features Xu Kai and Yang Zi in the main roles. It tells the story of Mai Cheng Huan (Yang Zi), who ruins her relationship with her boyfriend after she proposes to him for marriage as per her mother’s advice. Mai is torn between making her life decisions independently and obeying her parents’ decisions. As she breaks free from her mother’s scrutiny, she falls in love with Yao Zhi Ming (Xu Kai). Will Zhi Ming be able to fix the relationship between Cheng Huan and her mother?

5. In the Name of the Brother (Ep 7- 18)

This ongoing historical C-drama will release a total of 12 episodes this week. It tells the story of twin brothers, Song Zhuowen (Qin Hao) and Song Zhuowu. The two brothers, who have opposite personalities, join hands to fight for their country. Meanwhile, the authorities appoint section chief Guan Xue (Yang Mi) to catch the twins.

In the Name of the Brother’s episodes are available for streaming on iQIYI .

Other than these popular dramas, the period drama Guo Zhao will premiere on April 23, 2024 , and the historic drama Jing Zhong Hua will premiere on April 24, 2024 . Beijing Auto Show Is a Home Run, but Mostly for Domestic Brands

North America remains a forbidden land for China's automakers, but the technical advances are worth watching. So are all the new models and companies.

• Auto Beijing opened to media on April 25, and the public days run through May 4.

A proper EV for under $7500 in U.S. money? No problem; there are stacks of those in China. An electric Smart (remember that three-cylinder microcar?) with a nuclear 646-hp drivetrain under its belt? Check out the rugged #5 (below). Plug-in hybrids with a range of 1250 miles? BYD, Chery, and Geely would be proud to oblige. The world's first production-ready long-range solid state energy pack? Developed and made in China, these are due to come onstream next year at the latest. A luxury SUV that can swim across a lake, or a battery-powered flying car? Piece of cake—the megabucks YangWang U8 floats like a duck, while the super-light XPeng Aeroht takes off like a kite. Look elsewhere for fake news; these and other dream objects are for real at the Beijing auto show, which opened to the public today.

Once again, the domestic automakers pulled out all the stops for what must now be the greatest car show on earth. Staged annually alternating with Shanghai, China Auto never ceases to surprise and delight. In 2024, we are seeing never-heard-of brands like Onvo, Fang Cheng Bao, Mona, and Stelato, together with a glut of new models in all segments and a wide choice of advanced technologies, be they software-driven or spurred by breakthrough hardware.

But all that glitters is not gold. The sheer number of manufacturers and products is struggling to gain a firm footing in an already crowded market. Oversupply and slowly waning demand keep triggering cutthroat price wars, more and more cars look confusingly similar inside and out, and although the government supports this industry where it can, only a dozen or so of the close to 100 players are fit enough to survive the inevitable selection process.

Right now, however, the community is in a party mood. With COVID no longer an impediment, the economy is almost back on track again, consumer confidence has returned, and thanks to a boost of national pride, local brands are fast gaining momentum. The authorities comply by prolonging subsidies and fast-tracking the charging infrastructure, which is set to grow from 1.1 to 1.5 million hookup points by 2028.

At the same time, the car industry is launching one affordable New Energy Vehicle (NEV, an acronym that includes plug-in hybrids) after the other. While the popular Wuling Hongguang is too basic for exportation, others like the $10,000 BYD Seagull and the $20,500 GAC Aion S are bound to worry the foreign competition.

Solid State Batteries, Battery Swapping

In addition to independent battery suppliers including CATL, Gotion, and Whale, Chinese carmakers have become experts at building their own energy packs. In Beijing, Nio revealed its latest 150-kW WeLion power pack. It made headlines until a previously unknown startup named Talent New Energy presented its lithium metal solid-state battery. That miracle cell is allegedly good for up to 1250 miles between charges.

The fastest-charging vehicle is no longer a Tesla or the new Taycan but the Zeekr 001, which went from 400 to 800 volts to complete the standard 10 to 80 percent charge in only 11 minutes. Trouble is, it needs a rare ultrafast 600-kW charger to fill up for the next 296 miles, so Geely (Zeekr's parent) promised to install 1000 of these special docking stations by the end of the year.

BYD unwrapped its second-generation Blade battery, which found its first home in the Ocean M hot hatch (below), based on a new rear-wheel-drive architecture, which looks like a Hyundai N fighter.

If charging is not your thing, battery swapping might be a more attractive option. At least that's the business model proffered by Nio and its system partners Changan, JAC, Chery, and Geely, with Volvo and Polestar in tow. Even though Nio wants to have 4000 swapping stations in place worldwide before 2025 runs out, commercial success may be thwarted by fast-forward battery evolution, the compromised one-size-must-fit-all packaging, and high costs for the stand-alone infrastructure.

Even though the company is reportedly losing thousands on every vehicle sold, the new Onvo brand launched at Auto China and next year's Firefly, aimed exclusively at European customers, both feature battery-swapping systems. Will Nio ever be profitable? Since it was established in 2014, cumulative sales have yet to exceed 500,000 units, and that doesn't bode well for a player that spreads its investment over 10 different look-alike models, not counting the two sub-brands.

Domestic Brands Proliferate

BYD (Build Your Dreams) sold 2.5 million cars in China last year, a 43 percent increase that propelled the local hero past VW (2.2 million), Toyota (1.7 million), and Honda (1.2 million). The other two Chinese brands in the 2023 top 10 were Changan, which specializes in affordable small and mid-size cars (1 million), and Geely, another multibrand outfit (915,000). At the Beijing show, BYD displayed the Qin L and Seal 06 PHEV sister models, but the more significant new arrival was without a doubt the good-looking Sea Lion 07 crossover (below), which challenges the bestselling Tesla Model Y with a truly luxurious interior and an aggressive price.

All models built by BYD and its sub-brands are the work of Wolfgang Egger (formerly of Alfa, Seat, Lancia, Lamborghini, and Audi) and his team. European and American designers are the flavor of the decade in China. Influenced from day one by Porsche's lineup, their work may look imitative, but it sells.

In addition to the core brand and its three channels, the Shenzen-based dream merchants are nursing three upmarket divisions: YangWang, Denza, and Fang Cheng Bao, a young outdoors-oriented marque launched last June. YangWang sells pure electric luxury, like the $140,000 U8 G-class rival, the U9 supercar (above), which has yet to go into production, and the U7 S-class-size sedan, which debuted here.

Denza will eventually have five lineups under the initials D, E, N, Z, and A, offering a wide selection of near-premium EVs and PHEVs. Its latest effort is the Z9 GT high-end shooting brake evidently inspired by the Porsche Taycan and Panamera.

Fang Cheng Bao (Chinese for "formula leopard") launched the Bao 3 at Auto China, a funky compact electric SUV priced from around $27,000, and the Super 9 roadster (below), a one-off that looks a bit like a reborn SLR McLaren Stirling Moss or a reimagined Italdesign Aztec.

Vacuuming Robots, Crossbrand Allegiances

Autonomous driving is another big thing in China, where commuters spend hours in stop-and-go traffic. Cooperation is the name of the game when it comes to pairing AD software with a predominantly upmarket set of wheels. Recently forged alliances include pony.ai with Toyota, to be followed soon by Toyota with Huawei and Momenta; Haomo DriveGBT and Great Wall Motor; GAC/Aion and Didi (Uber's chief rival here); and Horizon Robotics and Volkswagen.

In record time and on a tiny budget, the Chinese software specialist developed the self-driving talents of the brand-new VW ID.Code 01 concept (below). Conceived "in China for China," the chic and sleek CUV features a stowaway steering wheel and a robot that vacuum-cleans the vehicle when parked. Due later this year is the China-only ID.UX sub-brand, which will enter the market with the VW sibling of the locally built Cupra Tavascan.

More and more often, Chinese carmakers are collaborating with crossbrand allies like software giants, telecommunication companies, and internet trading specialists. This year's undisputed co-op shooting star is the Xiaomi SU7 (below), which found 100,000 takers before the first car was delivered to a customer. A sleek Taycan clone priced from around $28,000, the SU7 boasts Xiaomi's own L2++NoA (navigate on autopilot) system certified for 100 Chinese cities. Other integrated tech includes the brand's Ecosystem and Hyper MMI. Similar money buys the IM L6 notchback and the Luxeed L7; IM belongs to the SAIC Group, while Luxeed is a joint venture between Chery and Huawei of laptop and smartphone fame. Both models offer Level 2+ capability, 60-mph acceleration times of under three seconds, and between 535 and 625 miles of maximum range, in the case of the L6 thanks to a new 133.0-kWh solid-state battery. Are you still wondering why the rest of the automotive world is worried sick?

Almost all fresh products on display in the International Exhibition Center break old records and set new standards in terms of efficiency, performance, software-defined qualities, value for money, range, and charging time. But in the eyes of the increasingly ambitious Asian strategists, that ́s not good enough to keep the competition at bay, Innovation is a fickle thing, and who knows where the next revolutionary battery (South Korea!) or the next magic electric motor (Germany!) might come from? So in China, the domestic brands are not merely ticking all the conventional boxes; they also put a lot of effort into soft values like positive user experience and feel-good emotions—the kind of stuff their European and American rivals hesitate to spend money on.

For instance, zoom in on the aforementioned YangWang U8 (above), which can be ordered with a $14,000 roof-mounted drone with over-the-air face recognition.

There are many more fuzzy skills to be discovered. Like multi-modality interiors with face, fingerprint, eyesight, and even emotion identification. Or in-dash AI via self-learning LLMs (large language models), long-reach multi-mode ultra-wide-band digital keys, rotating touchscreens as seen in the BYD Qin L, or major updates of good old gesture control. One extreme example is the active suspension pioneered by Nio on the ET9, which can step like a stork over sleeping police officers or shake a load of snow off its body after a cold winter night.

Doubters, please simply watch that You Tube video. Almost anything is possible in China, where avatars are commonplace digital in-cab assistants on all screens all the time, sometimes a little loud but always one digital step ahead. Luxing yukuai– safe journey!

While working as a keeper in the Aberdeen Zoo, smuggling cheap cigarettes from Yugoslavia to Germany, and an embarrassing interlude with an amateur drama group also failed to yield fulfillment, driving and writing about cars became a much better option. And it still is now, many years later, as I approach my 70th birthday. I love every aspect of my job except long-haul travel on lousy airlines, and I hope it shows.

Love the story (3⭐️’s)

I love the story’s just wish they was a longer. The coins you use to be able to watch them I think are a little much for how long the story’s are. 1 coin/minute I think really would be great. Then I wouldn’t really have a problem with how short the story’s are. But for only 1 minute and a few seconds for I think it’s 5 coins is a little much. Yes you get 10 free adds to keep watching thank goodness. Because I wouldn’t have kept the app if it wasn’t for that. But I truly do think the makers should really lower the coins to watch. P.S. yes this app is free and so is the story’s. You can purchase more coins if you would like. The reason I gave 3 stars is mainly because of how many coins you have to use to watch the 1 minute video.

Good Shows but Not Very Userfriendly

The shows are good and some are awesome; however, the app isn’t very user-friendly. Some examples of why it isn’t very user-friendly are, 1-there isn’t a clear button to add a show to your personal list, 2-the episodes open without you selecting to open them so you can see how many coins is needed per episode nor are you alerted when your coins are being used, 3- you aren’t aware of when you’re running out of coins because you have no control of when a locked episode will unlock while watching and 4-the TT app gives you a view of 10 epis which is great for deciding if you want to watch it on the Short app, but on the app you are buying about 3 episodes that you have already been able to view which seems strange. You would think the app should start unlocking with the 11th episode instead of the 6th or 7th episode. Though I get it takes money to produce the episodes, there should be some awareness indicator or step in place so viewers know when coins are being used or when a locked episode needs to be unlocked to give viewers the choice to use their coins or sample other shows at their leisure. The pros are the 1-voice-overs are good translations to English, 2- there are a lot of shows to select from to watch, 3-the prices for coin packages is reasonably inexpensive for the smaller packages.

The coins situation is insane

You’re telling me if I end up using all my coins I won’t be able to watch another 10 seconds episode for a week or two. Like what is that? No one seems the mention the terrible acting which honestly is fine the stories are still cute but the fact that we can’t even watch 2 episodes without spending all our coins. Makes you lose all interest in the story. I don’t know how people are getting by with this it’s actually annoying. So you can’t enjoy the app unless you spend real money. Because you guys wanna make the price of the episodes 82 coins. Like not even 10 or 15 which is more reasonable but 82 then have the nerve to say $10 for 1000 coins when in reality that’s about 10-12 episodes outta a 90 episode story which like I said would be worth it if the episodes weren’t 5-10 secs long. I don’t i guess others like this app but honestly I’d rather stick with “episode” it’s a kiddy app but at least it’s more reasonable than this

Five-plus years following the launch of his film financing and production company, Hammerstone Studios , producer Alex Lebovici finds himself at “a big turning point.” After working for years on “building block” projects that held little to no interest for him on the level of story, he’s been able of late to assemble an increasingly packed studio slate, devoting himself solely to making the “fun, commercial, star-driven films” he likes to watch.

Boy Kills World has weathered an unusual path to theaters, world premiering at TIFF in the midst of an actor’s strike, and with no talent on hand for publicity. Following a re-cut of the first act and the addition of voiceover from H. Jon Benjamin, who doles out Boy’s interior monologue, the film was given a distribution deal by Lionsgate/Roadside in January.

Lebovici is aware that this ultra-violent flick isn’t for everybody. The producers are taking on the responsibility of P&A which was financed by Nthibah Pictures . Currently, per Deadline midday projections, the movie is expected to earn around $2M in just under 2,000 theaters. It’s “one of those that people either love or hate,” says Lebovici, something “you’ve got to be a fan of the genre to really appreciate it.” Still, he’s hopeful for the film’s future as a discovery title, “one of those midnight movies that plays for years and years.”

By this point, Lebovici felt he had a grasp of the creative side of filmmaking, having been making shorts since he was 13. His company takes its name from the street in Thornhill, Ontario where he and friends were arrested as kids, while shooting an outdoor action scene with fake weapons. “Somebody called the police like, ‘There’s a child militia outside,'” he recalls, “and so we had like six cop cars arrest us at gunpoint.”

When Lebovici returned to his native country, he devoted himself to learning business fundamentals. “A door-to-door salesman by nature,” he accomplished this not by working on set, but rather by launching and overseeing a window cleaning business for six or seven years. Initially, he worked alongside his father and brother alone. But soon, he’d be training droves of kids from the neighborhood to work for him. Within three years, he says, he had 150 employees and was “doing like $2 million a summer,” installing and repairing water heaters and the like in the winter.

In retrospect, he says, running this business was not all that dissimilar from managing a major Hollywood production. “In Canada, the weather’s only good for a couple months of the year, so you basically had to have this production where you had no work, you could generate work, and then hire 150 people for a four-month, five-month period of time, and then manage all these different trucks and things,” Lebovici explains. “Everyday, there would be crazy amount of drama that I had to be prepared for.”

After doing this for a while and making money “hand over fist,” Lebovici had put enough away so that when he sold his piece of the business, returned to Los Angeles and began pursuing work as a producer, he’d bought himself four or five years to build connections, take risks, and work for free as needed.

“That’s a trick in this business, and that’s why there’s so many people that are wealthy from before. Because it’s so expensive and complicated and there’s a learning curve,” says the producer. “I was the right age, with the right experience, and enough money that I was sitting on, that I was able to take risks and turn down paychecks to work on projects that I believed in, or projects that I thought would put me in a good position.”

Early on, Lebovici worked on a “really terrible” zombie movie, “a bunch of small action programmers,” with the likes of Dolph Lundgren, as well as Billionaire Boys Club , a true-crime thriller that looked good on paper but proved “unwatchable” and got buried by Kevin Spacey’s #MeToo scandal.

Arguing that now is perhaps “the worst time in history” for filmmakers, given the increasing costs of production, increases in the cost of capital, the decline of the U.S. dollar’s value abroad, and the expectations streamers have set by inflating actors’s upfront salaries, Lebovici says that he faced down “some of the worst situations” in his first years on set. Still, his early projects served their purpose, as learning opportunities giving him the chance to show people what he could do. Over time, his situation began to improve, and he now feels fully “battle tested,” after weathering both the Covid pandemic and last year’s double strike.

There’s a large, albeit “calculated gamble” at the heart of Lebovici’s business strategy, which is the fact that 90% of Hammerstone’s films are made without a domestic distributor on board. Helping him to make this scenario work is Christian Mercuri’s Capstone, which serves as Hammerstone’s foreign sales arm through a joint venture, bringing in around 60% of the budget of any given project through pre-sales. To accrue the remaining funds required, he’s turned to both tax incentives and a pool of high net-worth investors — some of whom, he first met while cleaning windows — positioning them to gain a lot and risk little. In the best-case scenario, Hammerstone’s projects engender a bidding war and his investors are paid back handsomely. In failure, he says, they take a small loss, though he can always flip a dud to a “lower-tier domestic distributor” to bring some money back in.

Admittedly, Lebovici says, the financial results for Hammerstone to this point can only be described as “fine,” though there are mitigating factors to consider. While the producer had high hopes for Bill & Ted Face the Music — the third film in the Bill & Ted franchise, starring Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter — that title proved only a modest success given its unveiling at the height of the Covid pandemic. Similarly, Lebovici was gung ho about the actioner Kung Fury , starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and Michael Fassbender, an adaptation of the crowdfunded short of the same name which went viral in 2015 after playing Cannes Directors’ Fortnight. That project has now sat in limbo for years, amidst a lawsuit with a Chinese financier, though Lebovici believes it remains salvageable.

Co-financed alongside New Regency and released by 20th Century Studios, Hammerstone’s biggest success to date, Barbarian , grossed 10x its $4.5M production cost with $45M worldwide. The film was highly acclaimed and launched director Zach Cregger toward multiple hot bidding wars on other projects, including Weapons at New Line with Josh Brolin and Julia Garner starring.

While Barbarian could have perhaps performed even better given a larger theatrical push, this isn’t to discount what Hammerstone gained from the project and its cultural cachet. Bringing in another nice chunk of change through an exclusive streaming window on Max, it established the company as one to watch and fostered an all new level of opportunity. “It was very meaningful because first of all, we started getting horror films sent to us, left, right and center,” he recalls. “It gave some prestige to our company and it’s opened a lot of doors. There’s always been a lot of access we’ve had to content, but now a lot more respect for the taste that we have.”

As Hammerstone begins its ascension, Lebovici has the grandest of visions for what the company can become. While looking to continue to produce breakout works, his hope is one day expand into distribution, as well. “If I have the international side and we are good content creators, if we can self-release our own movies, that’s also an ideal, long term,” he says. “Because then, we become a mini Lionsgate, a mini A24.”
