Tom Cruise’s Kids: Everything To Know About His Mysterious Relationships With Connor, Isabella & Suri

Tom Cruise may be the biggest movie star, but he's also a family man! We've got all the details on Tom Cruise's relationships with his son Connor and daughters Isabella and Suri.

Tom Cruise

  • Tom Cruise remains one of Hollywood’s biggest box office draws since his breakthrough in 1983’s ‘Risky Business’
  • The actor has been married to three high-profile actresses: Mimi Rogers, Nicole Kidman and Katie Holmes
  • He has three children, including a teenage daughter he was last photographed with in 2012

Tom Cruise is an iconic actor, but more importantly, he’s a father. The Top Gun star, who has been married three times , shares two adopted kids — Connor Cruise  and Isabella ‘Bella’ Cruise  — with his ex-wife, Academy Award-winning actress Nicole Kidman . He also has one biological child, a daughter named Suri  with his other ex-wife, Katie Holmes .

Tom lives an extremely private life, despite being a major movie star. While he may hit the occasional red carpet if he has a movie premiering, the actor is rarely photographed anywhere else, or with his kids. Though, he does have a relationship with all three. Want to know more? Learn more about Tom’s family dynamic with his son and two daughters below.

Isabella Cruise

Tom Cruise & his kids

Tom and Nicole adopted Connor and Isabella during their decade-long marriage in the ’90s. Isabella, who was born on December 22, 1992, took a page out of her father’s book by adopting a lifestyle away from the spotlight, however, she recently resurfaced on her Instagram  with a selfie on August 25, and fans went wild. The new photo came four months after she last shared a photo of her face online, so her followers were elated to see her sharing a new picture of herself.

The London-based artist owns a company with the title of her namesake, “Bella Kidman Cruise,” which sells phone cases, tote bags, and more. As far as her personal life is concerned, Bella married Max Parker , an IT consultant, in an intimate ceremony in London in September of 2015. Neither Bella’s nor Max’s parents attended, which led to speculation that she was estranged from her parents. Though, that was later proven not to be the case .

“Of course [we talk], they’re my parents. Anyone who says otherwise is full of sh-t,” Isabella told Daily Mail in March of 2016. When asked if it was hard not to have Tom walk Isabella down the aisle to give her away, Max admitted, “Yeah. It is what it is.” Isabella also has a good relationship with her mother, whose last name is included in her company’s name. And, she’s close with her brother, Connor, which is evidenced by various social media posts.

Isabella caused a slight stir in July 2021 when she and brother Connor both posted a selfie – a rare thing from these private kids – on the same day. Bella’s selfie was taken during the Euro Championship when England took on Denmark. “My face during extra time. Fingers crossed,” she captioned the shot. It clearly worked, as England prevailed. Earlier in the year, Bella posted another selfie – a black and white photo advertising prints in her shop. When Isabella shared a snap in September 2021 , fans thought she looked amazing.

Connor Cruise

Tom & Connor Cruise

Just like his sister, Connor, who was born on January 17, 1995, also enjoys living a private life. Though, he was very much in the spotlight in the past. Connor briefly followed in his parents’ footsteps and starred in two films — 2008’s Seven Pounds and 2012’s Red Dawn remake. The well-accomplished DJ eventually pursued his passion for deep-sea fishing, though, and now spends a lot of time in Clearwater, Florida, as seen on his Instagram page. Connor is very close with his sister, which was further proven by a cute throwback photo he shared to his Instagram in August 2019.

Connor appears to be quite close with his dad, too, as the two were most recently spotted together in October 2019. The father and son bonded over the actor’s love for helicopters, according to People — which reported that Tom took Connor on a chopper in London to show him “some aviation basics.” In 2012, Connor tweeted a black and white baby photo of himself, along with Isabella, in the arms of Tom.

Connor had a busy 2021. While on a fishing trip in Costa Rica in February, Connor showed off a catch that was almost bigger than him. “ Yellowfin were chewing today ,” he captioned the shot. He became an “ influencer ” in March of that year, launching the @connorsmeatshack IG account with his friend, Kim Joyce . The BBQ-themed account featured Connor’s love of grilling, and the man knows his way around a “rolled cap of ribeye and some lobstah tails,” as he put it . When the summer months rolled around, Connor decided to shave off his hair. “ New face, who dis? ” he captioned a June 8 IG story.

While on an August 2022 fishing trip with friends, Connor showed off his catch – a massive fish he hauled in from the ocean. In his most recent post, Connor revealed that he and his fishing buddies donated a large portion of their catch — “108 pounds of grouper” to be exact — to a charity. “I know it was tough to fit that in the truck but glad the fish was able to go and help those in need of it!!,” he wrote. Overall, Connor is enjoying a life of fishing, grilling, and living in the great outdoors.

Suri Cruise

Tom & Suri Cruise

Following his 2001 divorce from Nicole, Tom went on to marry Katie Holmes in 2006. They welcomed their only biological child, a daughter named Suri, that same year on April 18. Suri made her magazine debut on the October 2006 cover of Vanity Fair with her then-married parents. The accompanying photoshoot showed the family smiling while cuddled up together. Unfortunately, the trio didn’t have a happily ever after. Tom and Katie eventually divorced in 2012, and the actor has rarely been seen out with his daughter since the split. Believe it or not, one of their last photographs together was at Disneyland on January 25, 2012.

Tom’s relationship with Suri is a tumultuous one , multiple sources have expressed to  HollywoodLife . “As challenging as things have become for him and his daughter, he still loves her,” an insider told us in April 2019. “Tom never intended to be estranged from his daughter when he decided to have a family with Katie, and he looks forward to repairing their relationship one day,” the source said. Tom and Katie have never spoken publicly about his estranged relationship with Suri. And it’s unclear when the actor and his now teenage daughter last saw one another. Suri resides with her mother in New York City, where she attends school.

While Tom and Suri’s relationship has remained strained, she has continued to have a positive connection with her mother. Suri and Katie are often seen together on the streets of New York City. In 2021, a 15-year-old Suri started venturing out into the Big Apple on her own . Even with the newfound teenage freedom, it doesn’t appear Suri has an Instagram account at this time.

Photos obtained by Entertainment Tonight show Cruise in a black collared shirt, dark-wash jeans, and sunglasses, while Connor was seen in a gray polo, jeans, and sneakers.

Cruise shares Connor, 28, with his ex-wife Nicole Kidman. The couple, who were married from 1990 to 2001 , also adopted 30-year-old Isabella.

Isabella and Connor have both kept a lower profile in recent years, but Connor and Cruise were spotted at a Los Angeles Dodgers game in 2013.

Like their father, both Connor and Isabella are Scientologists , at least according to a 2018 interview Kidman did with Australian magazine Who.

"They have made choices to be Scientologists, and, as a mother, it's my job to love them," Kidman said in the interview . "And I am an example of that tolerance and that's what I believe — that no matter what your child does, the child has love and the child has to know there is available love and I'm open here."

Who Is Tom Cruise?

Thomas Cruise Mapother IV, better known as Tom Cruise, was born on July 3, 1962, in Syracuse, New York, to Mary and Thomas Mapother. Cruise's mother was an amateur actress and schoolteacher, and his father was an electrical engineer. His family moved around a great deal when Cruise was a child to accommodate his father's career.

Cruise's parents divorced when he was 11, and the children moved with their mother to Louisville, Kentucky, and then to Glen Ridge, New Jersey, after she remarried. Like his mother and three sisters, Cruise suffered from dyslexia, which made academic success difficult for him. He excelled in athletics, however, and considered pursuing a career in professional wrestling until a knee injury sidelined him during high school.

At age 14, Cruise enrolled in a Franciscan seminary with thoughts of becoming a priest, but he left after a year. When he was 16, a teacher encouraged him to participate in the school's production of the musical Guys and Dolls . After Cruise won the lead of Nathan Detroit, he found himself surprisingly at home on the stage, and a career was born.

'Taps,' 'The Outsiders'

Cruise set a 10-year deadline for himself in which to build an acting career. He left school and moved to New York City, struggling through audition after audition before landing an appearance in 1981's Endless Love , starring Brooke Shields. Around this same time, he snagged a small role in the military school drama Taps (1981), co-starring Sean Penn .

His role in Taps was upgraded after director Harold Becker saw Cruise's potential, and his performance caught the attention of a number of critics and filmmakers. In 1983, Cruise appeared in Francis Ford Coppola 's The Outsiders , which also starred Emilio Estevez , Matt Dillon and Rob Lowe —all prominent members of a group of young actors the entertainment press dubbed the "Brat Pack." The film was not well received, but it allowed Cruise to work with an acclaimed director on a high-profile project.

'Risky Business'

His next film, Risky Business (1983), grossed $65 million. It also made Cruise a highly recognizable actor — thanks in no small part to a memorable scene of the young star dancing in his underwear.

In 1986, after a two-year hiatus, the budding actor released the big-budget fantasy film Legend , which did poorly at the box office. That same year, however, Cruise's A-list status was confirmed with the release of Top Gun , which co-starred Kelly McGillis, Anthony Edwards and Meg Ryan . The testosterone-fueled action-romance, set against the backdrop of an elite naval flight school, became the highest-grossing film of 1986.

'The Color of Money,' 'Rain Man' and 'Born on the Fourth of July'

Cruise followed the tremendous success of Top Gun with a string of both critically acclaimed and commercially successful films. He first starred in The Color of Money (1986) with co-star Paul Newman , and then went on to work with Dustin Hoffman on Rain Man (1988). Cruise's next role, as Vietnam veteran Ron Kovic in the biopic Born on the Fourth of July (1989), earned him an Academy Award nomination and a Golden Globe for Best Actor.

'A Few Good Men,' 'The Firm' and 'Interview with a Vampire'

In 1992, Cruise proved once more that he could hold his own opposite a screen legend when he co-starred with Jack Nicholson in the military courtroom drama A Few Good Men . The film grossed more than $15 million its first weekend and earned Cruise a Golden Globe nomination. He continued to demonstrate his success as a leading man with The Firm (1993) and Interview with a Vampire (1994), which co-starred Brad Pitt.

'Mission: Impossible,' 'Jerry McGuire'

Next, Cruise hit the big screen with two huge hits—the $64 million blockbuster Mission: Impossible (1996), which the star also produced, and the highly acclaimed Jerry McGuire (1996), directed by Cameron Crowe. For the latter, Cruise earned a second Academy Award nomination and Golden Globe for Best Actor.

'Eyes Wide Shut,' 'Magnolia'

Cruise and then-wife Kidman spent much of 1997 and 1998 in England shooting Eyes Wide Shut , an erotic thriller that would be director Stanley Kubrick 's final film. The movie came out in the summer of 1999 to mixed reviews, but that year Cruise enjoyed greater success with the release of Magnolia . His performance as a self-confident sex guru in the ensemble film earned him another Golden Globe Award and an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor.

'Vanilla Sky,' 'The Last Samurai'

Cruise then starred in the long-awaited smash hit Mission: Impossible 2 in 2000, alongside Anthony Hopkins , Thandie Newton and Ving Rhames. In 2002, he starred in Vanilla Sky , his second collaboration with Crowe, as well as Steven Spielberg 's Minority Report . The following year, Cruise traveled to Australia to shoot the $100 million war epic The Last Samurai, which earned him another Golden Globe nomination.

'War of the Worlds'

Cruise proved he remained a top draw by starring in the Spielberg-directed remake of the science-fiction classic War of the Worlds (2005), which grossed more than $230 million at the box office.

His next effort, Mission: Impossible 3 (2006), also scored well with audiences. However, Cruise was faced with a professional setback in August when Paramount Pictures ended its 14-year relationship with the actor. The company's chairman cited Cruise's erratic behavior and controversial views as the reason for the split, though industry experts noted that Paramount more likely ended the partnership over Cruise's high earnings from the Mission: Impossible franchise.

Cruise quickly rebounded and on November 2, 2006, he announced his new partnership with film executive Paula Wagner and the United Artists film studio. Their first production as a team, the political drama Lions for Lambs (2007), proved a commercial disappointment despite a strong cast that included Meryl Streep and Robert Redford .

'Tropic Thunder'

Taking a break from weighty material, Cruise delighted audiences with his performance in the comedy Tropic Thunder (2008). Despite his relatively small role in a movie that featured Robert Downey Jr. and Ben Stiller , Cruise stood out by obscuring his trademark good looks to play a balding, obese movie studio executive.

'Valkyrie,' 'Rock of Ages'

In December 2008, Cruise released his second project through United Artists. The film, Valkyrie , was a World War II drama about a plot to assassinate German leader Adolf Hitler . Cruise starred as a German army officer who became involved in the conspiracy.

Cruise returned to one of his most popular franchises in 2011 with Mission: Impossible—Ghost Protocol . Breaking into new territory, he then starred in the 2012 musical Rock of Ages . Although Cruise received some positive reviews for his performance as a rock star, the movie failed to attract much of an audience.

'Jack Reacher,' 'Edge of Tomorrow'

Returning to his mainstream action roots, Cruise starred in the 2012 crime drama Jack Reacher , based on a book by Lee Child. He then headlined a pair of science-fiction adventures, Oblivion (2013) and Edge of Tomorrow (2014). Showing no signs of slowing down, the veteran actor in 2015 delivered his usual high-energy performance for the fifth installment of his blockbuster franchise, Mission: Impossible—Rogue Nation .

Latest Movies and Familiar Franchises

In 2016, Cruise reprised the role of Jack Reacher for Never Go Back . He then headlined a reboot of The Mummy (2017), which performed respectably at the box office but was savaged by critics, before earning better reviews later that year for the crime thriller American Made .

2018 brought a return to familiar territory for Cruise, who starred in Mission Impossible —Fallout that summer. Prior to its release, he tweeted a photo to mark day 1 of production on the long-awaited sequel Top Gun: Maverick , scheduled for a June 2020 release.

Scientology and Personal Life

Cruise married actress Mimi Rogers in 1987. It was through Rogers that the actor became a student of Scientology, the religion founded by writer L. Ron Hubbard. Cruise credited the church with curing his dyslexia, and he soon became one of its leading proponents. However, while his spiritual life flourished, his marriage to Rogers ended in 1990. That same year, Cruise made the racecar drama Days of Thunder alongside Kidman. Though the movie was unpopular among critics and fans alike, the two lead actors had real chemistry. On Christmas Eve 1990, after a brief courtship, Cruise and Kidman married in Telluride, Colorado.

Divorce from Kidman

For much of the 1990s, Cruise and Kidman found themselves fiercely defending the happiness and legitimacy of their marriage. They filed two different lawsuits against tabloid publications for stories they considered libelous. In each case, the couple received a published retraction and apology, along with a large monetary settlement which they donated to charity. The couple has two children, Isabella and Connor.

On February 5, 2001, Cruise and Kidman announced their separation after 11 years of marriage. The couple cited the difficulties involved with two acting careers and the amount of time spent apart while working. Following the divorce, Cruise briefly dated his Vanilla Sky co-star Penelope Cruz , followed by a much-publicized relationship with actress Katie Holmes. A month after his ties to Holmes became public, Cruise professed his love for the actress in a now-famous appearance on The Oprah Winfrey Show, during which he jumped on Winfrey's sofa, shouting "Yes!"

Marriage to Katie Holmes

In June 2005, after a two-month courtship, Cruise proposed to Holmes in a restaurant at the top of the Eiffel tower. In October, they announced that they were expecting their first child together. The hasty proposal and surprise pregnancy quickly became tabloid gossip. But Cruise made even bigger headlines that year as an outspoken advocate for Scientology. He openly criticized former co-star Brooke Shields for using anti-depressants during her recovery from postpartum depression. He also denounced psychiatry and modern medicine, claiming Scientology held the key to true healing. Cruise's statements led to a heated argument with news anchor Matt Lauer on The Today Show in June 2005, for which Cruise later apologized.

In 2006, Cruise and Holmes welcomed daughter Suri into the world. That year, they were married in an Italian castle, with celebrities Will Smith , Jada Pinkett Smith , Jennifer Lopez and Victoria and David Beckham among those in attendance. However, the storybook romance wouldn't last, and in June 2012, the couple announced their separation.

Adorable 'Jerry Maguire' star Jonathan Lipnicki opens up about anxiety, bullying

Twenty years ago, the spiky-haired, bespectacled Jonathan Lipnicki totally upstaged Tom Cruise and Renée Zellweger in "Jerry Maguire."

But Lipnicki was only 6 when he made his film debut and as he's revealing now that working as a child actor came with high costs.

Jonathan Lipnicki

As he explained on Instagram Tuesday, he was "relentlessly" bullied and called a "has-been" as a child. The frequent bullying contributed to his panic attacks and anxiety as a young man.

RELATED: That cute 'Jerry Maguire' kid can probably kill you with his hands now

As a child actor Lipnicki continued to act in movies like "Stuart Little" and "The Little Vampire," and has been able to continue his acting career in smaller films and occasionally on TV. As he noted in his Instagram post, he's done more films as a grown-up actor than as a child. He also trains regularly in mixed martial arts.

Lipnicki put up an additional post Wednesday acknowledging the attention the first one has drawn:

The actor, now 26, is clearly not alone in his experiences. Last night singer and actress Demi Lovato, who also experienced bullying and mental health issues while working as a child actress, revealed she's been sober for five years.

It's not an easy road to travel, but it is easy to applaud these young actors' positive attitudes.

Everything to know about Tom Cruise's three children, Bella, Connor and Suri

By Natacha Maloon | 3 years ago

Tom Cruise is a bonafide Hollywood star, but he's also a father of three children.

Despite being a major movie star Tom has managed to keep his private life quiet over the years.

The Top Gun actor's marriage to Nicole Kidman and Katie Holmes made him a dad to Bella Cruise , Connor Cruise and Suri Cruise.

Here's everything we know about the Hollywood A-lister's children.

How many kids does Tom Cruise have?

Tom has three kids!

He shares two adopted children with Kidman, daughter Bella, now 28, and son Connor, now 26. The pair divorced in 2001.

The actor was then married to Holmes between 2006 and 2012. The pair welcomed their biological daughter Suri Cruise, who is now 15.

Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes and Suri Cruise walk together on October 8, 2011.

Does Tom Cruise see his children?

It's hard to know exactly how often Tom sees his children, but he appears to have maintained a closer relationship with Bella and Connor.

They are both dedicated Scientologists like their father.

In 2016, Bella told The Daily Mail that she is still in regular communication with her parents.

"Of course we talk, they're my parents", adding, anyone who claims they don't is "full of s--t".

Connor was most recently seen with Tom during an outing in London in 2019.

"Tom and Connor stepping out together in London was a big deal," a source told People at the time. "It was the same weekend that Scientology does their annual gathering called the International Association of Scientologists (ASI). Tom has attended numerous times in the past, but this appears to be the first time Connor has gone."

It's believed Tom is mostly estranged from his daughter Suri. However, this claim has never been confirmed.

He was last seen holding her in 2012 when he was boarding a helicopter.

Why did Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman adopt?

When Kidman married the Hollywood star, she was excited about the prospect of being a mother.

Sadly, she endured an ectopic pregnancy and lost her first child during her marriage to Tom. The experience influenced her decision to ultimately adopt.

"From the minute Tom and I were married, I wanted to have babies," Kidman previously told Marie Claire in 2007. "And we lost a baby early on, so that was really very traumatic."

The pair tried to have a baby again, but Kidman suffered a miscarriage in 2001. Tom filed for divorce that same year.

Does Nicole Kidman talk to Connor and Bella?

It's been widely speculation that Kidman doesn't see her adopted kids that often. Their devotion to the Church of Scientology is believed to be the reason she keeps a distance.

In 2018, she opened up about her adopted kids' choice to be Scientologists.

"They are adults," Kidman said in an interview with WHO magazine. "They are able to make their own decisions. They have made choices to be Scientologists and as a mother, and it's my job to love them. And I am an example of that tolerance and that's what I believe — that no matter what your child does, the child has love and the child has to know there is available love and I'm open here."

Tom Cruise children: Inside actor’s mysterious relationships with Suri, Isabella and Connor

Tom Cruise is one of the biggest stars in the world but, when it comes to his relationships with his three children, very little is known.

Hollywood heavyweight Tom Cruise might be one of the biggest movie stars in the world but, when it comes to his personal life, very little is known about his relationships – especially with his children.

The Golden Globe winner first became a father in 1992 when he and his then-wife Nicole Kidman adopted their daughter Isabella. The former couple’s family grew again in 1995 when they adopted their son, Connor. After the marriage broke down, the Top Gun actor found love again with Katie Holmes and the pair went on to welcome his only biological child, Suri.

While Cruise was photographed frequently with Suri in her early years, sources have claimed he is now estranged from his 17-year-old daughter. As for his older children, mystery has long surrounded their relationships.

Now, after news he has found “love” with Russian socialite Elsina Khayrova, the Herald looks at his family dynamics.

Here is everything we know about Tom’s relationships with his children:

Isabella Cruise

Isabella Kidman Cruise, known as Bella, is now 30. Photo / Instagram

Born on December 22, 1992, Isabella – who calls herself Bella Kidman Cruise – was the first child Kidman and Cruise adopted in their decade-long marriage in the 1990s. Her relationship with her father appears to remain intact.

After agreeing to a joint custody agreement with Kidman in 2001 – financial terms and other settlement terms were kept confidential – Isabella and Connor stayed with their father in LA when Kidman returned to Australia and the children quickly became “completely dedicated Scientologists”, according to People magazine.

Now 30, Isabella rarely posts on social media but Page Six reported in 2019 that she wrote in a Scientology newsletter thanking her father “for everything”.

Kidman has not explicitly shared her opinion about her daughter’s relationship with the church but did briefly mention it in a 2018 interview with Who magazine.

“They are adults,” she said of Isabella and Connor at the time. “They are able to make their own decisions.

“They have made choices to be Scientologists and, as a mother, it’s my job to love them. I know 150 per cent that I would give up my life for my children because it’s what my purpose is.”

Hollywood Life has reported that Bella is now based in London and owns an art company selling phone cases, tote bags and other accessories.

In 2015 she married Max Parker, an IT consultant, in an intimate ceremony that neither Cruise nor Kidman attended, causing widespread speculation that Bella was estranged from them. But the Mirror reported that Cruise knew about the wedding and footed the bill.

Bella later spoke to the Daily Mail , claiming: “Of course [we talk], they’re my parents. Anyone who says otherwise is full of sh**.”

While it’s not known exactly how much contact she has with her father, reports suggest they have a good relationship.

She has previously shown support for him on social media by posting the trailer for Top Gun: Maverick and liking a post by Lady Gaga that featured him.

Connor Cruise

Born on January 17, 1995, and adopted the same year, Connor Cruise – much like his sister – appears to enjoy a life away from the spotlight.

Despite seemingly following in his parents’ footsteps earlier in his life when he starred in two films – Seven Pounds in 2008 and the Red Dawn remake in 2012 – Connor later pursued DJing successfully but has since taken a new direction.

Hollywood Life has reported that the 28-year-old spends a lot of time fishing and lives in Clearwater, Florida, which is the main Scientology hub in the US. The Mirror has reported that Connor has become a high-ranking member of the church .

He remains close to his sister and father, though reports suggest he does not have a good relationship with Kidman and did not invite her to his wedding in 2019.

He married Italian-born Silvia Zanchi, a fellow Scientologist who also grew up in the religion, and allegedly “banned” Kidman from the wedding at the request of his father.

Speaking to Radar Online in 2019, a source said, “Tom is behind this and what he wants is as good as law. Tom made the call and Connor followed.”

Adding that Connor “worships the ground his father walks on”, the sources added: “First, Tom would never even consider inviting Nicole to Connor’s wedding because she’s considered a ‘suppressive person’ by the church. And, second, he doesn’t want her there.”

People magazine reported in 2019 that Connor and his father regularly spend time together but public outings are rare. They were spotted the same year flying over London in a helicopter and Cruise showed his son “some aviation basics”.

The trip was a way to promote the Mission Impossible film at the time. However, People reported there was also an annual Scientology gathering that Connor was believed to have attended with his father.

Since then, the two have also been spotted on rare outings together, including at a 2021 basketball game and, most recently, in New York City in July at an event to promote Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning .

Suri Cruise

Earlier this year an insider revealed to Page Six that Cruise was estranged Suri, his daughter with former wife Katie Holmes. However, he still pays child support of US$400,000 (NZ$640,500), which will continue until she is 18.

He is also required to pay for Suri’s expenses, including medical, dental, insurance, education and other extra-curricular costs.

The news doesn’t come as a complete surprise as Cruise revealed in his 2012 defamation case against Bauer Media that his links to Scientology had played a large part in his estrangement from Suri.

When asked if Holmes had left him “in part to protect Suri from Scientology”, he replied, “That was one of the assertions, yes.”

“Listen, when there is a divorce, things change,” he told lawyers in 2013. “It’s not an ideal scene. It’s not an ideal situation.”

After the US$50 million ($80m) lawsuit deposition in 2016, the controversial church was criticised for keeping Cruise and his daughter apart. According to the rules of Scientology, church members are not allowed to associate with non-believers.

Since neither Holmes nor Suri are Scientologists, it has been claimed that Cruise cannot have a relationship with either of them.

“This is his loss, his issue, his problem,” an insider told Page Six at the time. “He must be really brainwashed.”

While he’s known as Mission Impossible’s  secret agent Ethan Hunt to most of the world, to Tom Cruise’s kids , he’s simply dad—and there’s truly no greater role than that.

Suri Cruise

tom-cruise-suri-cruise

Suri is Tom Cruise’s youngest child. The Academy Award-nominated actor welcomed his daughter in April 2006 with his then-wife, Katie Holmes, whom he first started dating in June 2005. The former couple reportedly got engaged that same year after only seven weeks of dating. Around the same time, Holmes, who was raised Catholic, reportedly began converting to Cruise’s Church of Scientology. The pair ultimately split in 2012, and it is believed that the Dawson’s Creek alum filed for divorce from Cruise in part to “ protect ” their daughter Suri from Scientology.

Holmes talked about how she wanted to give her child a normal childhood. She told Town & Country at the time, “My child is the most important person to me, and her upbringing is paramount to my work right now. It’s very important that I’m present and she has a stable, innocent childhood. I feel so blessed to do what I do, but there’s nothing in the world better than watching your child succeed.”

Connor Cruise

Tom Cruise’s only son, Connor, was born in January 1995. The  Risky Business  star adopted Connor shortly after his birth with his then-wife, Nicole Kidman. The former couple, who got married in December 1990 and divorced in 2001, also adopted a daughter, Isabella, three years before they welcomed their son.

Isabella Cruise

tom-cruise-connor-cruise-isabella-cruise

Isabella “Bella” Cruise is Tom Cruise’s eldest child. Bella was adopted by Cruise and his then-wife Nicole Kidman during their marriage, which lasted for a decade until 2001. Like her dad, Bella is a notoriously private person. What we do know about her is that she’s currently based in London, where she works as an artist and owns her own company. Bella is also married to Max Parker, an IT consultant.

When Bella got married in 2015, there was some speculation that she was estranged from her mother and father because neither attended the wedding. The artist has since shut down those claims, telling the  Daily Mail  in 2016, “Of course [we talk], they’re my parents. Anyone who says otherwise is full of shit.”

Inside Nicole Kidman's Relationship With Her Kids Bella And Connor Cruise

Nicole Kidman with children

Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise are the parents of two adopted children, Connor and Isabella "Bella" Cruise. When the couple split, the "Moulin Rogue" actor's relationship with their kids became fractured. She has since moved on with country star Keith Urban and welcomed two girls, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret, but there has been much speculation about where things stand with Kidman and her eldest children.

The specifics of their relationship may be vague, but when Kidman speaks about Connor and Bella to the press, there's a lot of love. "Motherhood is about the journey. There are going to be incredible peaks and valleys, whether you are an adopting mother or a birth mother. What a child needs is love," she said in  The Sun  in 2019. She has also made it clear that there is no difference between having adopted or biological children. "It's the emotion of attaching to a child and helping to guide them and rear them [that is important]," she told Tatler in 2018.

They are all grown up, and their mom feels they've turned out well. "They are healthy and sane and together and are great, great people," she told Associated Press (via Daily Mail ) in 2010. "So I'm not one of those people that needs to be reminded of what I have." But that doesn't mean everything has always been perfect. Here's how Nicole Kidman's relationship with Bella and Connor has evolved over the years.

Nicole Kidman adopted her children in in 1992 and 1995

Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise married in 1990. The "Batman Forever" actor knew she wanted to start a family with her husband, but the traditional route was not possible for them. "From the minute Tom and I were married, I wanted to have babies," Kidman told Vanity Fair . "And we lost a baby early on, so that was really very traumatic. And that's when we would adopt [our daughter] Bella."

The Oscar winner has been open about her fertility and miscarriage and how it impacted her experience with motherhood. "I wish I'd had more children, but I wasn't given that choice," she told Marie Claire in 2021. She did become a mom for the first time, thanks to adoption. First to Isabella "Bella" Cruise in 1992 and later to Connor Cruise in 1995. The love the star felt for her children was instant.

"When I held Bella in my arms, that was everything. I look into those eyes, and that crazy love happens — it's crazy love because you'll do anything when you have a child," Kidman told The Independent in a 1998 interview. "It opens up a part of your heart you didn't even know was there." At the same time, Kidman is open to them connecting with their birth parents. "That's part of my belief on adoption," she told E! News in 2016. "If a child wants to find their birth mother, I'm absolutely supportive of that."

Nicole Kidman's divorce from Tom Cruise impacted her children

There was a time when Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise were one of Hollywood's hottest couples. "He swept me off my feet. I fell madly, passionately in love," she told The Sun. And things between them moved quickly. "I was so young. I look back now, and I'm like, 'What?' I had two kids by the time I was 27, and I'd been married for four years. But that's what I wanted," she shared.

But that ended with their divorce in 2001. Following their split, something seemingly shifted in Kidman's relationship with her children."They live with Tom, which was their choice," she said in 2010, per  Hello!  magazine. "I'd love them to live with us, but what can you do?" Kidman and Tom agreed to joint custody of their children, but there's been much speculation about how much time she spends with them. There would be years without photographs of them in public, and there have been reports that Tom has excluded Kidman from special events, like their son's wedding, per Radar . (In 2019, Connor reportedly married Silvia Zanchi, who is a member of the Church of Scientology.)

The questions about their dynamic were fueled when Kidman accepted an Emmy for Best Actress in a Limited Series in 2017 for her work in "Big Little Lies" and mentioned only her youngest kids in her speech. "I am also a mother and a wife. I have two little girls, Sunny and Faith," she said. "This is yours."

They stopped calling Nicole Kidman 'mom'

Nicole Kidman has been reluctant to share too much about her relationship with Bella and Connor Cruise, but she has offered some rather telling details over the years. "My kids don't call me mommy, they don't even call me mom," she once told GMTV (via Marie Claire ). "They call me Nicole, which I hate, and tell them off for it."

To make matters worse, Tom Cruise's second wife, Katie Holmes, had previously gushed about her relationship with his and Kidman's kids. She said in a 2007 interview with Parade (via People ), "His first two children [Connor and Isabella] are incredible, really smart and kind. They call me 'Mom.'" In an interview with Vanity Fair in 2006, Holmes also spoke about the teens and their bond with their sister, Suri Cruise. "It's really special to see them [Bella and Connor] holding their little sister," she said. "To hear them talk about all of the fun things they are going to do together." Following Tom and Holmes' divorce, Suri reportedly became estranged from Tom ;  Suri's current relationship with her older siblings  is unclear.

Despite the complex relationship dynamics between Kidman and her children, she has stressed the importance of motherhood — regardless of the circumstances. "My daughter and son, their life is molded by the way I live," she said in a 2007 interview (via People ). "If I wasn't willing to take on that responsibility, I shouldn't have adopted them."

Nicole Kidman's children are members of the Church of Scientology

Tom Cruise is arguably one of the most famous members of the Church of Scientology, and his older children, Bella and Connor Cruise, have followed in his footsteps. "They are adults," Nicole Kidman said in a 2018 interview with Who magazine. "They are able to make their own decisions. They have made choices to be Scientologists, and as a mother, it's my job to love them." She added that she would continue to accept them because she is their parent. "No matter what your child does, the child has love, and the child has to know there is available love, and I'm open here," she shared.

Actor and former Scientologist Leah Remini has been far less diplomatic about the Kidman-Cruise kids' upbringing. In her 2015 memoir, "Troublemaker: Surviving Hollywood and Scientology," "The King of Queens" star claimed Bella and Connor were kept away from any outside information that, as she put it, "might get them asking questions." Remini also remembered once asking Bella and Connor about spending time with Kidman. According to Remini, Bella allegedly responded, "Not if I have a choice. Our mom is a f***ing SP." "SP" stands for "suppressive person," which is the term the church uses for anyone who they view as an enemy.

Despite this, Kidman is supportive. "I've chosen not to speak publicly about Scientology. I have two children who are Scientologists — Connor and Isabella — and I utterly respect their beliefs," she told The Hollywood Reporter in 2013.

Nicole Kidman wants her relationship with her kids to remain private

Nicole Kidman is one of the biggest stars in the entertainment industry. As such, there will always be an interest in what she does and what happens in her personal life. While she is willing to share some of it with fans, like her fertility issues, there are other aspects she prefers to keep under wraps, like her relationship with her two oldest children. "I'm very private about all that. I have to protect all those relationships," she said in an interview with the Hollywood Foreign Press Association in 2018 (via Hello! magazine ). "I know 150 percent that I would give up my life for my children because it's what my purpose is." Kidman has also made a point of keeping her two youngest children, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret, away from the spotlight.

Bella and Connor Cruise seem to be more than fine with leading relatively quiet lives. "[Connor] is DJing, he's doing really well. Bella lives in London now," Kidman said in a 2013 interview with " Extra ." "I think that, you know, everybody has their own path, and when they find their path, it's such relief as a parent, you know?" She has also praised them for who they have become. In a 2014 interview with The Weekly , she said, "They are generous, kind, and hardworking, and these are traits that I love to see in my children."

Nicole Kidman has a deep love for her children

In the interviews Nicole Kidman has given about her children, she has made one thing clear: she loves them. While promoting her film "Lion," which is a story that involves adoption, she told Town & Country , "This movie is a love letter to my children." The 2016 biographical feature, which also stars Dev Patel, follows a young man who spent the bulk of his childhood with adoptive parents and wants to find his biological family. "I relate to that. I feel that for my own children who are adopted," Kidman said. "It's not about anything else other than 'I wanted you.' It's that deep and personal, and whatever your journey is, I'm here to love and support you."

Despite the obvious love she has for Bella and Connor, Kidman has been honest about how parenting can be a challenge. No matter what, she approaches it with openness and offers support. "Parenting is about learning who they are, not making them what you want them to be — letting them find their way then supporting them," she told The Sun. "It's rigorous. You're constantly looking at yourself, so you're not placing these expectations on a child." When asked to name the most difficult thing about being a mother in Vogue's "73 Questions" series, she replied, "Knowing I won't be here forever, so I won't always be here to take care of them."

Bella Cruise and Nicole Kidman reunited in 2016

Bella Cruise moved to London and lives her life mostly out of the spotlight, although she has a public Instagram page and refers to herself as Bella Kidman Cruise. There is much chatter about her bond with her mom, but she set the record straight in a 2012 interview with New Idea magazine (via E! News ). "I love mom. She's my mom. She's great. I see her sometimes, and I speak to her," she said. "We're a very close family. I love all of our family."

In 2015, Bella married Max Parker at the Dorchester Hotel. Neither Nicole Kidman nor Tom Cruise were there. While there was speculation about why Bella's parents skipped out on the wedding, a tipster told the Daily Mail  that they simply wanted to avoid creating a media frenzy. The source also claimed Kidman was involved in the planning process.

The wedding may have excluded Kidman, but Bella's marriage is believed to have opened doors. About a year after the wedding, Bella and Kidman reunited. "It was a very emotional moment for all of them, especially Nicole," a tipster told Woman's Day Australia (via New Zealand Herald ) in 2016. "It didn't take long for her to burst into tears, and Bella soon followed." This was also an opportunity for the actor to meet Parker, and the source said she took "an instant liking" to him.

Connor Cruise says he has a 'solid' relationship with his mom

While they may not be as close as Nicole Kidman would hope, Connor Cruise has said things are good between them. "I love my mum," he said in an interview with Woman's Day in 2014. "I don't care what people say; I know that me and Mum are solid. I love her a lot. My family means everything. Yeah, I love my music, but the family comes before everything else."

His mother sure seems to share these sentiments about family. In an interview with The Weekly, the actor spoke about her children and husband, Keith Urban. "At this stage of my life, and with time being so precious, the joy I get from us as a family outweighs any joy in any other area of my life by far," she said.

In addition to working as a DJ, Connor is a keen fisherman, golfs from time to time, and enjoys barbecuing meat. Connor resides in Clearwater, Florida — yes, near Scientology headquarters and one of dad Tom Cruise's many properties. A source told People in 2018, "Connor has a pretty simple life in Clearwater." Though they lead entirely different lives, Kidman supports the path her son has chosen to follow. "Nicole only wants the best for Connor, but she gives him the freedom to make his own decisions, and that includes his religious beliefs and where he wants to live," a tipster told Hollywood Life .

“That day, when I went in for my audition, they flew me out to Arizona where they were shooting a bunch of football scenes with Cuba [Gooding Jr], and I read for Tom [Cruise] and Cameron [Crowe] … and I got the part.”

Jonathan Lipnicki On 20 Years Of 'Jerry Maguire'

tom cruise and kid actor

Since he's talking about the 20th anniversary of Jerry Maguire , out on Blu-ray now, Jonathan Lipnicki would like to clear something up. At just six years old, the actor informed the world about the weight of the human head and chastised an adult for his pottymouth in his first film role as Ray Boyd, son of Renee Zellweger's widowed character Dorothy. At the end of the movie, Ray lets a baseball rip, much to the delight of Jerry (Tom Cruise), his sports agent step-dad. "I threw that ball!" Lipnicki tells Bustle in an interview . "I practiced all day the day before, and I really threw that ball."

Ray is an extraordinary kid. And in the part, a very young Lipnicki is just as special. It's not just the cherubic face, spiked hair, or the Harry Potter glasses perched on his nose, nor is it that slight and adorable lisp in his voice as he solemnly counsels a drunk Jerry. Jerry Maguire is a movie about grown-ups with grown-up problems and it features one of the most memorable performances by a child actor in the last two decades. Lipnicki, who says he remembers all the feelings associated with working on the Cameron Crowe film if not the actual process, isn't eager to take too much credit. "It would have been an amazing film if I’d been involved or not," he says. "And I’m lucky to be a small part of that."

A good portion of Jerry Maguire 's appeal lies with the chemistry of the ensemble. It's there between the newly idealistic Jerry and his adoring employee Dorothy and between Jerry and his only client Rod Tidwell (Cuba Gooding Jr.). It practically radiates from any scene involving some combination of Ray, Dorothy and Jerry. And that's for a very simple reason, according to the now 26-year-old actor. "I genuinely loved them," Lipnicki says. "Loved Renee, loved Tom. And they were so warm to me, so welcoming...I don’t think we had to do much to establish it; it organically happened."

This big break almost didn't happen, however. Originally, another actor was cast in the part of Ray. The change was so last minute that Lipnicki and his mother were flown to the Arizona set on the day he was offered the part and then whisked into a reading with the filmmaker and the star. "That was my first meeting with Tom," Lipnicki says. "I was so excited because I loved Top Gun . He comes with his big movie star smile into his trailer and I’d never met anyone like him. And to this day, I’ve never met anyone like him. He has so much charisma and so much focus, it’s a beautiful thing."

tom cruise and kid actor

Lipnicki's relationship with Cruise mirrors Ray's to Jerry in that he's still a bit in awe of him. They keep in intermittent touch, and the younger actor says Cruise has "always left the door open" and been a fountain of advice. Still, the hero worship is hasn't quite gone away. "It’s amazing," Lipnicki says. "I could meet the guy a million times and it’s always a surreal thing, seeing him again. I still look up to that guy. I still see every Tom Cruise movie that comes out in theaters."

And if you're still in the industry like Lipnicki is, you couldn't have a better mentor. After stealing scenes and hearts in Jerry Maguire, Lipnicki became a hot commodity, scoring roles in family films like Stuart Little, The Little Vampire, and Like Mike. But like many actors who found fame at a young age, Lipnicki is now striving to redefine himself as an adult for audiences who'd like him to stay a kid forever. "I’m never going to sugarcoat things when I talk to people in interviews," Lipnicki says. "It’s been a really hard transition. It’s hard to shake people’s ideas of who I was in the past, but if you really love something... anything worth doing is going to be difficult."

View on Instagram

One of Lipnicki's outlets for dealing with the quirks of the business is humor. He's poked fun at his forever-young status in comedy sketches like "You Used To Be Cute," a parody of a casting call in which he plays himself. Lipnicki says it took "a lot of growing up" to get to a place where he can brush off those type-casting frustrations. "For me, it was embracing [the past], not trying to fight it," he says.

During his 20-year career, Lipnicki has seen the industry change. "Now you have tentpole projects and you have indies. There's really no mid-range stuff anymore." Even if he were looking to recapture the singular success of Jerry Maguire , those changes mean that movies like it are not poised to attain the same kind of box office receipts. "Right now it's about finding really interesting roles," he says. Lipnicki's recent work includes the high school comedy Loserville , co-starring Matt McGorry and Jamie-Lynn Sigler, and Interns Of F.I.E.L.D. , a web series parody of the similarly named Marvel series.

So Jonathan Lipnicki's past and future lie in Hollywood. But what about Ray? Was that pitch the harbinger of future sports celebrity? "I do think Ray grew up to be a baseball player," the actor muses. "I hope he grew up to visit the zoo many times. I hope a lot for Ray."

Once Tom Cruise is your co-worker, he’s a co-worker for life. The father of Suri and accepter of impossible missions has built a reputation on being generous with his friends, but it’d be easy to underestimate who falls in the “friend” category. It seems that not only do the eminently successful actors benefit from his lifelong devotion; the little guys do, too. One specific little guy— Jonathan Lipnicki , the child actor who played Renée Zellweger’s son in Jerry Maguire — told Access Hollywood that he met with Cruise at the film veteran’s house just four years ago to talk shop.

“I went over to his house because I actually—I cold-called his office at United Artists and asked for advice, and he got back to me and I went over,” Lipnicki said. The movie is 20 years old this year, meaning Lipnicki made his house call a decade and a half after they worked together.

“A big part of [Cruise’s] success he attributes to being on time and being polite to people and knowing people’s names. It was incredible to sit down with one of your favorite actors and have an hour-long conversation about acting,” he added.

Lipnicki wasn’t the only kid on that set to be on the receiving end of Cruise’s giving spirit. When he heard that Cruise continued to talk with the child actor who was cut from Jerry Maguire before Lipnicki was brought on, he said, “Tom is so amazing, I’m really not surprised. I heard that, and I was like, That’s Tom.”

Besides offering personalized advice at will, birthdays provide Cruise with a chance to dote on his former co-workers on a yearly basis. Dakota Fanning recently revealed that Cruise’s special way of keeping in touch after War of the Worlds was through presents. “He has sent me a birthday gift every year since I was 11 years old,” Fanning told Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live this summer. “Beautiful gifts,” which are “usually shoes.”

Zellweger, Cruise’s co-star in Maguire , echoed Fanning’s experience in an interview with Vanity Fair ahead of the 20th anniversary of the film.

“He never forgets my birthday,” Zellweger said (she declined to mention if he gives her shoes or something else). She “will say that he’s always so thoughtful and generous, and it’s sweet that he always remembers, because I’m sure he has quite a bit on his plate.”

For all those New Year’s resolutions that stipulate “reach out to old friends” or even just “don’t cancel plans always, ” Cruise as a friendship lifer might serve as inspiration.

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban’s teen daughters make their red carpet debut with parents

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban made their first public appearance with their teenage daughters.

The family attended the 49th AFI Lifetime Achievement Award Gala at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on April 27, which was held to honor the Kidman as the 2024 recipient of the award.

On the red carpet, Kidman and Urban posed with their two teenage daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret.

They were joined by more of Kidman's family including her sister, Antonia Kidman, her husband, Craig Marran, nieces Sybella Hawley and Lucia Hawley, and nephew, Alexander Kidman Marran.

At the ceremony, both Meryl Streep and Keith Urban gave touching tributes to Kidman ahead of her award acceptance.

In his speech, the country music star spoke about raising a family with Kidman and said “one of the most beautiful things” is getting to see his wife be a mom.

“Her and I both come from tight four member family units as well, so we try to do the same for our girls — keeping a tight little unit wherever we are,” Urban said. “We’ll make homes of film locations all over the world.”

In addition to her two daughters with Urban, Kidman adopted two children with her ex-husband, Tom Cruise : Isabella “Bella” Kidman Cruise and Connor Cruise. The “Top Gun” star also shares daughter Suri Cruise with his ex-wife, Katie Holmes.

Though Kidman and Urban tend to keep their daughters out of the public eye, Sunday and Faith have supported their mom before. In February 2021, Kidman, Urban, and their daughters virtually attended the 78th Annual Golden Globe awards when she was nominated for “The Undoing.”

Over the years, Kidman has said on multiple occasions that she wishes that she’d had more children.

“I love, love children,” she told BBC’s Victoria Derbyshire in January 2017. “I love raising children. They make me feel good, and I love being around, and I love the ups and downs, and I love watching them grow and the things they say and teach.”

Kidman told People in January 2019 that had she met Urban before she did in 2005, they “could’ve had 10 of them!” The actor added, “But Keith says, ‘Stop the wanting mind.’ It’s far better to be completely in love and satiated with what you’ve been given, what we’ve been given.”

Though she told Marie Claire Australia that not having more children was one of her biggest regrets, she’s content taking on a motherly role other ways in her life.

“(It’s) OK because I get to mother other children,” she explained. “I have six nieces and nephew, and I’m godmother to 12. I love mothering, I love kids: they’re quirky, funny and unfiltered. And then you get to see them grow and send them on their way.”

Here’s everything to know about Nicole Kidman’s children.

Isabella Kidman Cruise, 31

During her 11-year marriage with Cruise , the couple adopted their daughter, Isabella “Bella” Kidman Cruise , when she was 25.

Kidman doesn’t often discuss her previous relationship with Cruise nor the couple’s children together. She told Australia’s Who magazine in November 2018 that she is “very private” about her eldest children, adding, “I have to protect all those relationships.”

The “Big Little Lies” star added, “I know 150 percent that I would give up my life for my children because it’s what my purpose is.”

Isabella and her brother, Connor, both belong to the Church of Scientology like their father. While Kidman has no affiliation with the organization, she told the magazine that he children “are able to make their own decisions.”

“They have made choices to be Scientologists and as a mother, it’s my job to love them,” she added. “And I am an example of that tolerance, and that’s what I believe — that no matter what your child does, the child has love and the child has to know there is available love and I’m open here.”

As for her personal life, Isabella has been married to Max Parker since 2015. In February 2018, she launched her own fashion brand, BKC. On her website , she sells t-shirts, pins, and tote bags along with prints.

Connor Cruise, 29

Kidman and Cruise also adopted their son Connor Cruise during their marriage.

Much like his older sister, he tends to keep a low profile and stays out of the public eye. He was most recently photographed at Milan Fashion Week in February 2023.

Connor has also been photographed with his dad over the years.

He made a rare appearance with Cruise in London in October 2019. They were photographed walking toward a private helicopter, with People reporting that Cruise showed his son “aviation basics.”

The father-son duo were photographed together again in October 2021 , this time in San Francisco. They attended the San Francisco Giants vs. Los Angeles Dodgers playoff game at Oracle Park.

Connor briefly pursued a career as an actor and starred in two movies, 2008’s “Seven Pounds” and 2012’s “Red Dawn.” He has also performed as a DJ in the past, including at his 21st birthday.

Today, Connor isn’t very active on social media, but has posted in the past about his hobby, deep-sea fishing .

Sunday Rose Kidman-Urban, 15

Kidman and Urban welcomed their daughter, Sunday Rose, on July 7, 2008.

As parents, Kidman and Urban have been protective of their daughters and seldom share their faces on social media. For Sunday’s 11th birthday in July 2019, Kidman shared a photo of her daughters from the back in front of the clock at Musee d’Orsay museum.

Despite not showing their faces publicly, Kidman and Urban have shared plenty of sweet sentiments about their daughters during interviews over the years.

Kidman opened up to Glamour UK in November 2020 about how her daughters were handling periods of isolation during lockdown in the early days of the coronavirus pandemic.

“For a 12-year-old, it’s about not being able to access friends easily — that’s a whole thing which every parent will be going through,” Kidman explained. “And then, there’s a 9-year-old, who’s socially forming. One of the hardest things is just watching them pine and yearn for their friends. I pine and yearn for my friends too.”

The “Somebody Like You” singer also opened up to TODAY’s Dylan Dreyer in September 2021 about whether his daughters were leaning toward following in the footsteps of their mom or dad more .

Urban said it was “a bit of both” at the time, adding, “More directing than acting, which would be kind of good.”

Though their kids are still young, both Sunday and Faith made their film debut in 2019 in “The Angry Birds Movie 2.” Sunday voiced the character Lily, a yellow chick, while Faith voiced Beatrice, a purple baby bird.

Faith Margaret Kidman-Urban, 13

Kidman and Urban welcomed their daughter, Faith Margaret, on Dec. 28, 2010.

The actor has given brief glimpses of her daughters over the years in posts on social media.

In May 2019, Kidman shared a photo hugging her daughters , though only the backs of their head were visible. In January 2021, she posted a throwback video with both of her daughters as they enjoyed time near Australia’s Uluru rock formation.

When Urban appeared on TODAY back in August 2015, he shared some of his daughters’ musical abilities when asked if they played any instruments yet.

“Sunday and Faith, they have a few instruments they like to play,” he explained. “A little bit of piano and Faith, she’s got a little pink guitar that she likes to play as well. Bongos, maracas, tambourine, triangle — she’s just getting started.”

Like other celebrity parents, Kidman’s daughters help to keep her humble.

“The great equalizer is showing the Emmys to Sunny and Faith,” Kidman told TODAY in October 2017. “They don’t want them. It’s so funny. It’s such a kid thing. Sunday was like, ‘Mama, I know you said we could put in our shelf but it won’t fit. We have enough things on the shelf.’”

Kidman also opened up about how she was raising her daughters to be outspoken and strong women, saying she would lead by example instead.

“So much is stepping aside and letting them become who they are,” said Kidman. “I don’t know if I’m teaching that as much as giving them their voices. I let them negotiate so they get a sense of who they are and what they can achieve and accomplish.”

Suri Cruise turns 18 and is still estranged from Tom: ‘Not a Scientologist, never will be’

Thanks for contacting us. We've received your submission.

Suri Cruise was once the most famous baby in America.

The arrival of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes’ daughter on April 18, 2006, sparked a global frenzy for the first glimpse of the A-list infant.

But it wasn’t until five months after her birth that she made her debut — on the cover of Vanity Fair, wrapped in the arms of her doting parents, in glossy photos taken by photographer to the stars, Annie Leibovitz.

Now she turns 18 on Thursday and faces a choice: Whether to return to the level of fame she had as a kid — when there were blogs devoted to her fashion — or maintain the carefully-guarded life Holmes has built for her since she blindsided Cruise by filing for divorce.

The dark-haired teen has grown up in Manhattan largely shielded from the spotlight by her loving and highly protective mom, 45, far removed from her 60-year-old father’s Church of Scientology.

As Page Six revealed last year, Suri is estranged from her famous father and the pair have no relationship.

Tom Cruise smiles as he holds Suri Cruise, with Katie Holmes beside him.

An industry source told us this week that the “Mission: Impossible” star has not seen Suri since 2012. “Katie has safeguarded Suri and she’s a devoted mom,” the source said.

“This is a girl who is a private citizen. She hasn’t lived her life in public.”

Holmes told Glamour magazine in 2023 that she likes to “protect” Suri from the public eye “because she was so visible at a young age.”

“I’m very grateful to be a parent, to be her parent. She’s an incredible person. She’s my heart,” she added.

Suri Cruise jumps in the water with her dad Tom Cruise at Disney World.

Being the only daughter of a protective single parent is a stark contrast to how Suri’s life began, of course.

“My whole life I always wanted to be a father,” Cruise gushed to VF back in 2006.

“I always said to myself that my children would be able to depend on me and I would always be there for them and love them — that I’d never make a promise to my kids that I couldn’t keep.

Tom Cruise holds Suri Cruise as they leave her gymnastics class in NYC in July 2012.

“I’m not one of those people who believe you can spoil a child with too much love. You can never give a child too much love. There’s just no way.”

He already had two adopted children, Bella, now 31, and Connor, now 29, from his marriage to Nicole Kidman and after her Vanity Fair debut was happy to parade Suri for the paparazzi.

Cruise had famously declared their romance by jumping up and down on Oprah Winfrey’s couch in May 2005, yelling “I’m in love!”

But when Suri was just 6, Holmes filed for divorce after six years of marriage with the help of her dad, Martin Holmes, a fierce attorney, and through a secret plan that entailed using burner phones.

Cruise was taken completely by surprise by the filing while he was on the set of “Oblivion” in Iceland in June 2012.

He and Suri were last seen together at Disney World in the summer of 2012.

Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes and Suri Cruise ride the Schenley Plaza's carousel.

In November 2013, during a deposition in his $50 million court battle against a pair of tabloid magazines, the “Top Gun” star admitted that Holmes had filed for divorce “to protect Suri from Scientology,” court documents revealed.

Despite not having a relationship; as per their divorce agreement, Cruise, who has an estimated $600 million fortune, agreed to pay Holmes $400,000 a year until Suri turns 18 as well as future “medical, dental, insurance, education, college and other extracurricular costs”.

Scientology lies at the heart of the question over Suri’s future.

Tom Cruise carries Suri Cruise on set in Sevilla, Spain.

Holmes, who rose to fame in the TV hit, “Dawson’s Creek,” is believed to have signed multiple non-disclosure documents that will prevent her from ever talking about her marriage to Cruise — and her time inside Scientology.

But when Suri turns 18, NY state declares that she is at the age of majority, when an individual is legally considered an adult.

That would allow her to speak about her father, his beliefs and their rift.

Tony Ortega, who has covered Scientology in depth for decades, told Page Six, “Suri would have been too young to sign any agreement, but she will now be free to talk if she wants to and it’s going to be really interesting if she has something to say.”

Tom Cruise holds Bella Cruise, while Nicole Kidman holds Connor Cruise.

We have reached out to reps for Cruise, Holmes and the Church of Scientology.

“Part of why Katie left when she did when Suri was 6 was that Katie would have seen Isabella and Connor going through Scientology,” said Ortega.

Cruise is of course Scientology’s most famous follower and seen as one of its most powerful figures, possibly second only to its leader, David Miscavige.

Tom Cruise jumps on Oprah Winfrey's sofa.

That power has led Ortega and former Scientologists to question what action Miscavige and other top Scientologists may have taken against Holmes and her daughter.

Regular members who quit are declared “suppressive persons (SP)” and those who stay in Scientology are told to completely cut them off.

“We don’t know for sure if Katie was ever declared an SP,” Ortega said.

“If you are a regular church member you could be told to disconnect from your wife and daughter, but because Tom is a celebrity — he’s  the top celebrity — he gets to ignore all this stuff.

“Your average member would be kicked out, but David Miscavige can’t do that with Tom.”

Both Mike Rinder and Jeff Augustine, two high-profile former Scientologists, agreed with this claim.

Suri Cruise and Katie Holmes go dog walking in Central Park, NYC.

Augustine is married to Karen de la Carriere, who was one of the highest-ranking church leaders until she left in 2010 and told Page Six, “The situation with Suri is a larger story about Scientology and the subject of how they make people no longer useful to them or threats to them non-persons.

“It’s like they cease to exist and that’s what happened to Suri.”

Back in August 2020, Leah Remini — one of the most famous celebrities to leave and speak out against Scientology — told us that she believed Cruise, who now lives mainly in the UK , was waiting until Suri is older so he could indoctrinate her into Scientology.

Suri Cruise and Katie Holmes hold hands as they go shopping.

Remini, who attended Cruise and Holmes’ November 2006 Italian wedding at the 15th-century Odescalchi Castle, said, “I’m sure his master plan is to wait until Suri gets older so that he can lure her into Scientology and away from her mother.”

Suri has tiptoed very gently into her parents’ showbusiness world while attending her exclusive Manhattan day school, singing “Blue Moon” in the opening credits of Holmes’ 2022 movie, “Alone Together.”

“I always want the highest level of talent,” Holmes said. “So I asked her! She’s very, very talented. She said she would do it and she recorded it, and I let her do her thing.”

Suri also sang in the film “Rare Objects,” which Holmes also directed.

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes hold hands and cuddle after getting married.

Holmes will this year return to Broadway in a revival of Thornton Wilder’s “Our Town”.

She has not remarried but had a six-year romance with actor Jamie Foxx which she kept under the radar before their split in August 2019 and went on to have a brief fling with  Nolita restaurateur Emilio Vitolo Jr. in 2021.

Holmes is careful not to speak out too much about her daughter, who is now preparing for college, once saying, “She came out very strong — she’s always been a strong personality.”

Tom Cruise hugs his children, Bella and Connor Cruise.

But she is now getting ready for her daughter to leave the nest.

“You want them to stay with you forever, but they’re these amazing beings, and you have to do everything you can to give them what they need — and then they’re going to go,” she told Town & Country in 2017.

“And that’s going to be very, very sad for me.”

As for the future, former Scientology spokesperson Mike Rinder, who has not seen his own two eldest children since he quit the organization, told Page Six, “Suri is not a Scientologist and never will be…she deserves love and sympathy.”

The Only Major Actors Still Alive From Butch Cassidy And The Sundance Kid

Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid

There are great Western movies , and then there are true classics. "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid" falls firmly into the latter category. An emotionally stirring and gorgeously shot tale of love, brotherhood, and inevitability, George Roy Hill's 1969 flick remains a pillar of Hollywood history. But while the cinematography, score, and screenplay all deserve a lot of credit for that success, "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid" is ultimately a film carried by its cast.

Paul Newman and Robert Redford will be forever linked as an onscreen duo, despite the fact that they only ever co-starred in two movies. "Butch Cassidy" was the first, and "The Sting" was the second, released just four years after their initial collaboration and once again directed by Hill. It's a testament to the two stars' incredible chemistry that this pair of shared performances was enough to eternally tie them together in the eyes of movie fans. They're incomparable as the eponymous cowboy bank robbers, but they aren't the only actors responsible for making the movie so beloved.

The iconic Western doesn't have a huge cast, but even the supporting characters make big impressions despite having very little screen time. Unfortunately, most of the talented stars who appear in the film are no longer with us. These are the only actors still alive from the cast of "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid."

Robert Redford (The Sundance Kid)

Robert Redford is a movie star in every sense of the word. His career has lasted for more than 60 years, and he was already in his early 30s when he starred as the Sundance Kid alongside Paul Newman's Butch Cassidy. Though Newman sadly passed away in 2008, Redford is still alive and well at 87.

Running down Redford's storied career would take all day. After capturing audiences' hearts in "Butch Cassidy," he went on to star in other classics like "The Sting," "Three Days of the Condor," "The Natural," "All the President's Men," "Spy Game," and "Sneakers." You could watch every Robert Redford movie  and rarely find a true dud, which is a testament to his onscreen charisma regardless of the material at hand. Eventually, Redford also took up directing and producing, winning an Oscar in 1981 for his feature directorial debut, "Ordinary People."

Now in his later years, Redford has continued to take on prominent roles, even appearing as the villainous Alexander Pierce in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He announced his retirement in 2018 following the release of "The Old Man and the Gun," which was set to be his final film, but he later said that he regretted doing so. With luck, that means that we still haven't seen Robert Redford's final performance.

Katharine Ross (Etta Place)

Though her character's name doesn't appear in the film's title, Katharine Ross is definitively the third star of "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid." She plays Etta Place in the movie, ostensibly Sundance's love interest but also an intimate friend of Butch's. Her complicated relationship with the two crooks is one of the centerpieces of the story, and she manages to get out of their doomed lives before the reaper comes calling. And, like Butch and Sundance, Etta is also based on a real person.

Ross was already a rising star when she appeared in "Butch Cassidy." The year before, she'd been nominated for an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for her turn in "The Graduate." Her later credits include "The Stepford Wives," "Donnie Darko," "The Shadow Riders," and "Voyage of the Damned." For that last film, she won a Golden Globe award — her second after winning one for "The Graduate."

These days, at 84 years old, Ross doesn't appear on the screen much, but she's never formally retired. In 2017, she co-starred in "The Hero," a film about an aging Western film star, alongside her longtime husband and fellow Western icon Sam Elliott. As it happens, the two first worked together way back on "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid," though they didn't start dating until many years later.

Sam Elliott (Card Player #2)

These days,  most people couldn't even tell you that Sam Elliott appears in "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid"  at all. Which is fair since Elliott hardly plays a big role in the film. But because of the Western superstar he later became, it's only appropriate that the beloved classic is one of his earliest credits. Elliott had only been acting for a couple of years when he was cast in the film, in which he's credited simply as "Card Player #2." It's a small part in a short scene that came with no real lines. Greatness comes from small beginnings, though, right?

The scene in question occurs early on, when Butch and Sundance are playing poker in a saloon. One of the other card players accuses Butch of cheating, which leads to a tense confrontation with Sundance. Elliott plays another card player in the scene who quickly removes himself from the potential violence.

These days, it's difficult to name a more iconic actor from the Western genre. Elliott's credits include movies like "Tombstone" and shows like "The Yellow Rose," and his deep voice and mustache are inimitable pieces of cinematic history. He eventually became Katharine Ross' fifth and final husband, but they didn't actually meet on the set of "Butch Cassidy. "I didn't dare try to talk to her then," Elliott said in a 2015 interview with  AARP . "She was the leading lady. I was a shadow on the wall, a glorified extra in a bar scene." They later got to know each other while working on 1978's "The Legacy" and have collaborated on numerous projects in the decades since. At 79, Elliott is the youngest surviving cast member of "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid."

The Future of Paramount Rests in the Hands of a Z-List Actor

Don't look now, but a random trust-fund kid wants to be the next Hollywood titan with some help from his dad's army of robots.

  • David Ellison is a Hollywood powerhouse making strides thanks to his penchant for producing blockbusters.
  • Ellison, son of the tech tycoon Larry Ellison, plans to reshape the industry, putting his less-than-stellar acting career in the rearview mirror.
  • The potential acquisition of the faltering Paramount brand indicates Ellison's preeminence in the entertainment industry is all but inevitable but with an arduous task ahead.

The future of Hollywood could change overnight. If the Skydance Media-Paramount deal goes through as expected, David Ellison will be major figure to be reckoned with, already securing inroads with Tom Cruise and showing he can lead blockbuster projects, successfully navigate creating sequels (just not for The Terminator series), and maintain a media empire.

Never heard of him? That explains why he decided to go all-in on the producing thing. Unless your wardrobe in 2007 was filled with Abercrombie and Fitch, you likely don't remember him. Ellison's rise to the top of the heap of Hollywood elite power brokers has been hard-fought and fraught with daring chances and bold performances. We're joking; he's filthy rich. To be blunt, he tried acting, specifically in vanity projects, and it didn't work out .

His relevance in the entertainment industry is telling... not so much concerning him, as it tells us how incompetently most big-name studios are run in the modern day, leaders seizing all the credit in prosperous times and using their employees as human shields when movies fail. Yeah, looking at you, Bob Iger, who believed The Marvels needed more executive supervision on set. If Ellison and his pals snatch up Paramount on the cheap, it makes perfect sense why. The mere fact that an independent production company could buy out a prestigious relic of Golden-Age Hollywood shows just how dire things can get when a company is left to rot through complacency.

Precisely at the moment that every big gamble that Hollywood doubles down on fails like a three-legged racehorse, there could be a guy to set them right. Don't look now, but a random trust-fund kid wants to be the next Hollywood titan with some help from his dad's army of robots.

Who Is David Ellison, and Why Is He So Important in Hollywood?

With a whopping four full-length films, one short, a TV movie , and a single television appearance on his resume from 2005-10, actor David Ellison didn't capture the world's attention. His role in Hole in One (mercifully altered from its original title: Parfection: The Golf Movie ) saw him playing a supporting role as a caricature of the quintessential aughts-era, polo, and khaki-clad dude-bro so perfectly it will be studied by anthropologists for centuries to come.

Hole in One is exactly what it looks like: a low-budget , mildly edgy movie. Other roles did come miraculously as it seems, despite the film's dismal financial and critical reception. We're going out on a limb and suggesting it might have something to do with his last name. You see, there's no way of talking about David without talking about his dad.

Larry Ellison just so happens to be one of the wealthiest and most influential men on earth , with a yacht worth 700 times your parents' mortgage. If you haven't heard of Larry Ellison's tech company, Oracle, they're the people competing with Google and Tesla to produce the generative artificial intelligence that will steal your job in a couple of years. Remember that, it will be important later.

His role in Flyboys could be called a career peak, regardless of whether it also performed horribly. Take what you will from the fact that an obscure actor was cast in a major film that just so happened to be co-produced by his own private production company. Everyone knew this star-making film was destined to bomb.

James Franco recovered , but Ellison's movie star delusion died as abruptly as it started , finding work in increasingly terrible films nobody saw. His last acting role came in an episode of Leverage 14 years ago. Many actors have stalled careers, and that's nothing to be ashamed of. But then again, most don't have billionaire fathers that open doors for them, either. From 2010 onward, he moved behind the camera as a producer .

Reinventing Himself One Film at a Time

Financing, unfortunately, is the heart of all productions because nothing happens without the union guys getting paid, and all that cash flows through guys like David Ellison. Even the most talented writers, directors, actresses, and cinematographers are ultimately at the will of the guy who controls the purse strings.

Producing is one of the more interesting gigs in Hollywood; the job is so powerful that they can make or break a film without ever needing to leave their office . For every producer that keeps their distance and mitts off the script or final edit (or acting talent), we get those that fancy themselves creatives, bombarding the director with asinine notes and dictating how a film needs to be made. Paradoxically, producers have the most pivotal role in the movie industry and are the most useless people on set. Amazingly, David emerged from his father's shadow with the Top Gun follow-up in 2022, producing the Tom Cruise hit.

The belated sequel succeeded beyond expectation. In a New York Times interview, Ellison credits the original film for his love of flying. He entered a flying competition in his teenage years in a German stunt plane his dad bought for him, only quitting his hobby to make time for film school at USC.

To his credit, his love of action movies and characters makes him stand out in a business where Kathleen Kennedy denies the existence of 40 years of Star Wars lore and canonized novels. He'd been trying to get a Top Gun sequel off the ground for more than a decade, aware of the scorn if he bungled this sequel:

"When you make a sequel 36 years later, which doesn’t happen very often, I think it’s sometimes easy to be cynical. And I think expectations are really high. When I think about what this movie meant to me and what it means to so many, I think people are understandably apprehensive about whether or not anything would ever be done to kind of tarnish the legacy of the franchise. We understood that."

Any rich shmuck can make a film, but to understand why a film and character worked, to begin with, and how to satisfy a diverse array of audiences without merely rehashing the same story takes legit skill and insight into what moviegoers desire. Joking aside, Ellison understands the business side of movies better than almost anyone .

Top Gun 3 Director Has 'Wonderful' Story Idea for Sequel & Tom Cruise Loves It

Paramount: fixer upper or junker.

The next shiny toy for Ellison could be no less than Paramount , the home to classics like The Godfather, Airplane! , Raiders of the Lost Ark , and the Star Trek films. Paramount has fallen on hard times as of late. As covered in Fortune Magazine , the scion to the fortune of one of wealthiest people on the planet is positioning himself to claim a controlling share of Paramount Global via a merger with his production company Skydance Media. All this is pending the necessary paperwork by private equity firms and $2 billion in capital.

After a decade in the dumps—its stock labeled as garbage tier by securities raters, auctioning off whatever ancillary companies it can to cover its CEOs' bonuses—Paramount might finally be in a position to take advantage of its brand power and numerous properties and networks (CBS, Showtime, Nickelodeon, etc) on its underperforming streaming service. Regardless of your affection for Yellowstone , the Paramount+ strategy is a complete mess at the moment, losing a reported $500 million in revenue in 2023 alone somehow, per The Hollywood Reporter .

The unbelievable turnaround will require a lot of magic from whoever is thrust into the leadership role, with 77 million subscribers sitting on their hands. In an interview with CNBC in 2023, Ellison foreshadowed Paramount's unsolvable streaming Catch-22 , that is, how studios must funnel all their cash at a tiny handful of risky blockbusters to stay profitable at the risk of starving their streaming services of enough content to keep people around every month:

"The direct-to-consumer business [streaming] has definitively changed consumer behavior, and I think above everything else, audiences are really going to want choice and that people are going to be very selective about what movies they want to go to theatrically and what they want to see at home."

What could he do to revamp the decrepit company? If Bloomberg is to be believed, and they refuse to elaborate, the salvation of Paramount could be AI on loan from Oracle. Based on what we've seen of AI so far, replacing all the screenwriters or editors with an algorithm is probably Plan B right now.

One thing is certain. Paramount is on life support and needs someone to turn the tide. Judging by his recent track record producing well-received projects like Jack Reacher and the new Mission: Impossible , David Ellison could be the one nepo baby in Hollywood who has a clue what audiences crave . The hit 2022 film Top Gun: Maverick is streaming now on Paramount+ .

Victoria Beckham celebrated her 50th birthday in style with a lavish celebration at a private members club in Mayfair on Saturday (20 April).

The star-studded event held at Oswald’s in London spared no expense and was attended by a long list of international celebrities, including A-List actors Tom Cruise and Salma Hayek, Desperate Housewives ’ Eva Longoria, musician Marc Anthony, and filmmaker Guy Ritchie.

The party is estimated to have cost a staggering £250,000. Guests drank £3,000 bottles of Victoria’s favourite Chateau Mouton Rothschild along with £500 bottles of champagne, and gourmet food prepared by a private chef, according to The Sun.

Her former Spice Girls bandmates Emma Bunton, Mel B, Geri Horner and Mel C were also in attendance, as they reunited to sing a rendition of their hit single “Stop” for David Beckham.

Victoria attended the event on crutches and in a floor-length green gown with ruffles, after a gym injury led to a broken foot last month. She ditched the crutches for a piggy-back from her husband David on her way out of the club.

Prior to the party, the family posed for a regal photo at their £25m mansion in Holland Park in West London. Brooklyn, 25, Romeo, 21, Cruz, 19, and Harper, 12, all posed for the picture, which has racked up over a million likes on Instagram.

“Can’t wait to celebrate with my friends and family! I love you all so much,” Victoria wrote in a caption to the post.

Brooklyn’s wife, billionaire heiress Nicola Peltz-Beckham was notably absent from the celebrations, however, she posted a story to her Instagram page on Sunday, dispelling any rumours of a rift.

“Happy birthday to my beautiful mil [mother-in-law] Victoria Beckham, I’m so sad I’m not there to celebrate you and hug you! Sending all my love from me and my naunni [white love heart] I miss you all so much!” she wrote.

Longoria posted a selfie video while getting ready ahead of the party, with a caption saying, “Getting ready to celebrate Victoria Beckham” alongside multiple party emojis.

The actor shared a heartfelt birthday message for Victoria days before the event, with a photo of the two in the Beckham’s home.

She captioned the image: “Happy birthday my beautiful sister Victoria Beckham! I’m so lucky to have you in my life. Your friendship, loyalty, beauty and humor is endless! I wish everyone had a best friend like you. I wish you all the happiness in the world for you today and always! Love you”.

Lauren Sanchez, wife of Amazon billionaire Jeff Bezos, commented on the post: “Queens” along with a heart emoji.

Other stars to attend the milestone special occasion included celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay, Fast and Furious 7 and Fast X actor Jason Statham and model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, as well as David’s fellow former England footballer Gary Neville.

Inside Zendaya and Tom Holland's 'Supportive,' 'Equal' Relationship as Her Movie Challengers Opens (Exclusive)

Tom Holland recently showed support for girlfriend Zendaya's big tennis movie, saying, "You ain't ready for this one"

As Zendaya rolls out her steamy new movie Challengers , she's offering more glimpses into her relationship with Tom Holland than ever.

The mostly private couple hit it off while making the recent Spider-Man trilogy of films together: She was the MJ to his Peter Parker.

As a source tells PEOPLE, "They are proud of each other’s successes and totally supportive. This is a plus in their relationship making it equal."

"They are each caring toward the other," adds the source. "It’s not a case where one is caring and the other isn’t so much. They are great people and are there for the good and bad. As busy as they are, this is super important."

In Challengers , in theaters now, Dune star Zendaya, 27, takes center stage as a tennis pro wrapped in a three-way romance with two other players (Mike Faist and Josh O'Connor) .

"This is my first time leading a film in this way so ya girls been nervous but everyone's excitement and encouragement has meant the world to me," the two-time Emmy winner wrote on Instagram, offering a behind-the-scene look at the film.

"I’m so honored that I get to do this beside these incredibly talented, brilliant (and hilarious) people," added Zendaya, "and on behalf of all of us, we hope you enjoy the film."

British star Holland, also 27, showed support for Challengers back in February . "You ain't ready for this one!" he wrote on Instagram when he shared the trailer with his followers.

The couple have been spotted hanging out together on her press tour for the movie, including in London when they were photographed being playful during an outing on April 11.

Holland is readying to star in a production of Romeo and Juliet on London's West End , set for a limited run beginning in May. To Vogue , Zendaya recently said she "could not be more proud" of him, and, "I’m going to try to see as many shows as I possibly can.”

In interviews ahead of Challengers , Zendaya has given rare insight into their relationship. Within her Vogue cover story, she described seeing Holland grapple with his sky-rocketing superhero fame.

“We were both very, very young, but my career was already kind of going, and his changed overnight," she said. "One day you’re a kid and you’re at the pub with your friends, and then the next day you’re Spider-Man. I definitely watched his life kind of change in front of him. But he handled it really beautifully."

That recognition also worked in his favor when he and Zendaya were pulled over for speeding , she shared on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

“Tom and I were rushing to a spin class … with my mother,” she said on the late-night show. “I was not going to do the spin class. He was going to do the spin class ’cause I don’t do that. But we were going a little fast ’cause we were running late."

Added Zendaya, "They recognized that he was Spider-Man, and we were fine. We got a warning and everything was okay."

Aside from their adorable anecdotes, the two actors have made a conscious effort to keep their romance private. Holland explained to  GQ  back in 2021, for instance, "Loving someone is a sacred thing and a special thing and something that you want to deal with and go through and experience and enjoy amongst the two people that love each other."
