Tour Pak Harness

Hello I have a 2021 RGS, I purchased the HD OEM King Tour Pak. I recently purchased the HD Signature LED Light Bar for the Pak. What harness or harnesses are required to connect the light bar and maybe side arm lights to my factory connection under my seat. Thanks  

You’re gonna have to either make one or buy it from Custom Dynamics or Namz. You’ll need two different harnesses, one for inside the Tour Pak and then another from the bike to the Tour Pak. Pretty easy to find the bike to TP harness and you can find cheaper ones on eBay and Amazon but the one inside will have to be from one of the companies.  

Oh, and I hope you’re not afraid of drilling holes in that new Tour Pak. Cause it’s gonna be a lot of em. 😂

Chopped Tour Paks- Street Glide

Have been considering a chopped tour pak for the street glide. I have the 4 point quick detach hardware with backrest & stealth luggage rack, but would like a tour pak as an option for some trips. I would really like to see some photos of any on here with this set-up on a street glide. And your opinions on this particular pak. I don't think I would want to go up to the standard or king pak, just feel like it would throw off the looks of the bike to much.

cant help ya with the pic, but my fealing is if i were gonna do a pack i would do the big one. the chopped does look the best it just seams to small to realy hold anything.  

I think I agree with previous post. Just too small to be very useful. They call it the pizza holder around here. I wish they had one bigger than the chopped but smaller than the standard.

I agree with the others about the chopped tour pak being too small. If I were to get one it would be for two reasons: 1.) Extra dry storage. 2.) the comfy back rest for my wife. She has tour pak envy over our friend's E-Glide set up. The smaller paks wouldn't fit the bill for either of those two needs. Also, the best part of the detachable set up is the ability to fit your bike for function today (tour pak) and form tomorrow (non tour pak, swoopy cool, Street Glide goodness)  

You could always add a rear rack and stick another pack/Lazy rider on there when you need the extra capacity.. Maintain the smooth looks when solo or you don't need it the extra space.. I mean than's why I GOT a Street Glide was to NOT have that stuff...  

I dont have chopped tour pak but the tour pak is good for long trips. Then I take it off for cruzin . I know this isnt what you wanted to see but iam not sure you would be happy with chopped pak. Thats my opinion and iam usualy wrong.  

Very nice looking bike, and i appreciate you posting the pic. THe pack actually looks really nice, and on my black bike, would probably "go away" even more. And you are right, if I am going to make the investment, might as well get the most space. 2 questions: 1) which pac is that? 2) wow.....all that storage, and a huge duffel?! Were you leaving for a 6 month trip?!? haha

I took my tour pack for my Pan and moved it forward so i have a backrest.Best thing i ever did,Its like a lazyboy and big enought to hold 2 helmets some rain gear maps celly.and pistol if needed....  

2010 Street Glide w/chopped tour pak I have one and love it. Just right for my helmet and gear. I will try to download a photo so you can see it. I have mine mounted forward but am thinking about moving it back as my dog likes to ride with me.

I just put one on my Electra Glide Standard. Looks nice and sleek. As for capacity, The quick test was whatever was laying around the garage, I was able able to close the lid with 4 leather jackets in it. That's plenty of room in my opinion.  

I had to make the same decision. My wife wanted the large back rest. So I got the King Pack. Was concerned about the looks. In my opinion, it`s good looking.  

I am looking into the idea, of either a king or chopped, for solo riding. The chopped does look better IMO but you do get lots of extra room in the king, and they both cost the same. I am leaning towards the king pack.  

If you are worried about the looks, your key word is" DETACHABLE". What good is a small tour pack that dosen't have a lot of storage? Besides, if your going on a trip where a tour pack is needed, I would think that you would be spending most of the time riding, not looking at the tour pack. Go with the full size... "Function Before Style"  

I have been tossing that same idea around and think like Falc544 that detachable makes it a viable option. I find myself thinking looks or function and generally go for what is practical and functional over looks.  

I know this is not a Street Glide but here is my wife's Heritage.
