I took this on a long haul journey a week back and it's quite uncomfortable and heavy. The backpack itself is oddly heavy even though it says it's light and the straps are really uncomfortable. The space inside the main compartment also just looks deceively big but can't take any kind of overload as the backpack looks stuffed. I was expecting better honestly. I really do want to return this backpack but I just arrived today from my trip. Please can you let me know if your team can arrange the return and refund even if I am few days outside of the 30 day period.

I really wanted to like the backpack. I just can't handle how uncomfortable the straps are.

I just got the opportunity to use the cabin pro on a short three day trip. The size of the suitcase is good with ample storage volume for a short trip. I still has some more space to spare. However, the empty weight of the suitcase was heavy which was a let slight let down since I was allowed only 7kg as carry on quota. The build quality is good and the wheels are excellent - smooth and not noisy. Loved the feel of the trolley handle as well. A big let down was the size of the laptop compartment. The space was so tight that my laptop itself was a squeeze. I could not find more space to store some essential chargers or headphone. I had to reach into the bag opening the full suitcase everytime. If there there was a small opening from the laptop compartment into the suitcase which I can use to take out my headphones, this would have been a great hack.

This backpack truly is the perfect backpack for short trips to anywhere. I had a weekend getaway and packed the essentials and a little more just to see how far it could go and I was beyond surprised with how well the bag is designed. Specific slots and spaces for all the essentials. Love it. 9/10 would recommend.

I like the bag so much however I received mine with some issues. The shape of it is not perfectly aligned I guess from storing it or happened from packaging and also some problems with the zipper when opening and closing.

Hi I wanted to exchange the bag for another one and when I made the purchase this was promised. When I spoke to the chat support on the site they said I cant. Please can you help.

Dubai airport travel chaos continues as new limit on arrivals is imposed

As airline passengers endure a fourth day of travel chaos at the world’s biggest international air hub Dubai , Emirates has told travellers they cannot check in until 1am on Saturday British time (4am Dubai time).

The airline says: “Customers with connections in Dubai will only be accepted at their point of origin if their flight departs after 23:59hrs GMT, 19 April. This is to support operations recovery from the recent bad weather at our Dubai hub.

“Customers already in transit in Dubai, travelling to Dubai as their final destination, or departing from Dubai can continue to check in and travel.”

Severe flooding has caused more than 1,000 flight cancellations , with many other arrivals and departures hit by diversions and long delays.

Normally a quarter-million passengers pass through the airport every day, but the airport authority has imposed restrictions on the number of arrivals.

According to the tracking service Flightradar24, by 2pm British time on Thursday, 1,145 flights had been cancelled – representing one-third of the normal schedule.

At noon local time on Friday, Dubai Airports introduced a 48-hour capacity reduction for arrivals. A spokesperson said the move was intended “to assist the effectiveness of recovery”.

Earlier, the Dubai Airports spokesperson said: This is the heaviest rainfall the UAE received in 75 years and we’re doing all we can to get operations back to normal.”

A backlog of passengers’ baggage is building at the airport. The spokesperson said: “We have been providing necessary assistance and amenities to affected guests but due to road blockages, it’s taken longer than we would have liked.

“We know how frustrating cancellations, disruptions and delays are to travel plans and our teams are working around the clock to help our guests. Our passenger’s safety and wellbeing is our primary concern and we thank them for their patience.”

British travellers booked on Emirates have told The Independent of extended waits and long delays.

Gerry Byrne flew in from Tokyo to Dubai on Wednesday, expecting an immediate connection to London Heathrow . Instead, he and his wife are currently in a hotel with a four-day wait until they can be flown home. He reported chaotic scenes at Dubai airport, with limited food and drink, as well as a “dangerous stampede” by passengers.

Two flights that did get out from Dubai for London Heathrow on Thursday evening, Emirates flights EK3 and EK5, were unable to land on Friday morning due to being too late for scheduled hours. Instead, passengers arrived at Birmingham at 12.30am and at Gatwick at 3am.

Dozens more Emirates flights have been cancelled on Friday, including two departures to Cape Town and other links to Bali, Bangalore, Colombo, Dhaka, Mauritius, Mumbai and Singapore.

The inbound legs of these cancelled flights would normally be carrying substantial numbers of British passengers returning from trips abroad.

UK air passengers’ rights rules , requiring alternative transport as soon as possible and a duty of care to provide hotels and accommodation, do not apply to non-UK/EU airlines flying from points outside Europe.

The airline says: “Emirates extends our sincerest apologies to impacted customers who have experienced delays and disruption to their travel plans. We appreciate how difficult it is for everyone affected.”

British Airways has cancelled many of its London Heathrow-Dubai flights since the flooding began.

A spokesperson for BA said: “Like other airlines, we’ve had to adjust our schedule to Dubai due to ongoing restrictions at the airport caused by the adverse weather conditions.

“Our teams are in contact with affected customers providing support and rebooking options.”

Operations paused at Dubai airport as rains continue

O perations at Dubai airport are still severely disrupted as heavy rains continue to batter the United Arab Emirates and neighbouring countries.

The storm pounded the UAE on Tuesday, flooding roads and the runaway of the busy international airport.

Flash floods have now killed 20 people in Oman and one in the UAE.

Some inbound flights have resumed on Thursday, but on the whole Dubai international airport, a major travel hub, is barely functional.

Authorities at the world's second-busiest airport said on Thursday that they had started receiving inbound flights at Terminal 1, used by foreign carriers, but that outbound flights continue to be delayed.

Posting on X, formerly known as Twitter, early on Thursday, officials urged people to travel to the airport only if they had confirmed bookings.

The head of Dubai airport, Paul Griffiths, said: "It remains an incredibly challenging time. In living memory, I don't think anyone has ever seen conditions like it."

The surrounding roads remain gridlocked because of overcrowding with people trying to reach the airport.

On Wednesday, about 300 flights were cancelled and hundreds more were delayed.

The UAE recorded its heaviest rainfall in the 75 years that records have been kept, authorities have said. Up to 259.5mm (10.2in) of rain fell on the usually arid country on Tuesday.

Anne Wing, a British tourist who was with her husband and three children hoping to fly to London Heathrow, said: "It's horrific, we are squashed in like animals - it is dangerous and inhumane."

She added: "Passengers were shouting and rioting at the connection desk, there were no staff to be seen."

She said her family had not eaten since lunchtime, and all that had been provided were some "small cartons of water".

Airport authorities say that the staff are facing difficulties to get food to stranded passengers as all the roads leading to the airport are blocked by flood waters.

Many stranded passengers have taken to social media, urging for more information.

Other "very anxious" and disoriented passengers, some travelling with young children, have posted that despite confirmed booking, their tickets are not being processed, because "check-in/bag drop/passport control [are] not open."

The Dubai airport, which last year served more than 80 million passengers, second only to Atlanta in the United States, warned recovery would take "some time".

As rains continue to batter the region, footage from the centre of Dubai on Wednesday showed dozens of submerged vehicles on flooded roads, as well as long traffic jams elsewhere.

Authorities have warned that more thunderstorms, heavy rain and strong winds were forecast. In Oman, more than 1,400 people have been evacuated to shelters, while schools and government offices have been closed.

The UAE state news agency published a statement from President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan saying he had ordered authorities to assess the damage and provide support to families impacted by the storm.
