His song In Da Club made two generations dance. In the 2000s, Eminem and Dr Dre revealed him to the public and he became one of the superstars of rap. 50 Cents, the legendary New York rapper, has since sold over 30 million albums.

The New York rapper will perform on Friday, November 3, 2023 at Paris La Défense Arena on the occasion of his "The Final Lap Tour" which celebrates the 20th anniversary of his first official studio album "Get Rich or Die Tryin'". An exceptional event for all his fans who will be able to see him live and enjoy an unforgettable show with special guests. 50 Cent has been churning out hits since the 2000s, quickly becoming a rap legend. The concert will be an opportunity to rediscover his songs such as 'Candy Shop', 'Just a Lil Bit', 'Many Men' and 'Window Shopper'.

50 Cent was born in the 1970s in the Queens district of New York. His real name is Curtis James Jackson III and his career took off in the early 2000s with the help of rapper Eminem and producer Dr. Dre. He then released a series of successful albums before taking a break in the 2010s to open his own production label, create his own clothing brand and star in films and series.

Today, EMMY® and GRAMMY® award-winning multi hyphenate,  Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson , announced that he will embark on a global tour in celebration of the 20th Anniversary of his game-changing debut album,  Get Rich or Die Tryin’.  Produced by Live Nation and presented by Sire Spirits,  The Final Lap Tour  will make stops across North America and Europe including Toronto, Brooklyn, Atlanta, Houston, Amsterdam, Oslo, Paris, and many more. Additional markets to be announced soon. 

The Final Lap Tour will feature the rap icon performing dozens of fan-favorite and chart-topping hits along with select tracks that have not been performed live in decades. Plus, the tour will feature support from special guest and longtime friend,  Busta Rhymes , across all dates and  Jeremih supporting on all North American dates with more special guests to be announced. 

Kicking off with its  North American  leg, the first date will be on  Friday, July 21st at Maverik Center in Salt Lake City, UT  and the  European  leg will commence on  Thursday, September 28th at Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam, Netherlands.  Additional dates to be announced in Australia, New Zealand, Asia and Europe.

Le rap américain s'installe dans la plus grande salle indoor d'Europe ! Ce vendredi 3 novembre 2023 , la salle de Paris La Défense Arena ouvre ses portes au mythique 50 Cent lors d'un seul et unique show qui risque fort de vous faire remonter le temps. Il faut dire que 50 Cent est une référence dans le milieu du rap east coast !

Avec une dizaine d'albums à son actif, le rappeur américain, originaire du Queens à New York, a marqué toute une génération, essentiellement au début des années 2000, avec l'album " Power of the Dollar ", suivi de l'excellent " Get Rich or Die Tryin '" en 2003, où l'on retrouve les tubes " In da Club ", " 21 Questions ", " P.I.M.P. " ou encore " If I Can't ". Autant de hits que 50 Cent compte bien interpréter ce 3 novembre sur l'immense scène de Paris La Défense Arena .

La salle de Paris La Défense Arena a levé le voile sur les informations pratiques et utiles que vous devez connaître afin de préparer au mieux votre venue.

Pour les plus impatients, sachez que Paris La Défense Arena ouvrira ses portes à 17h30, tandis que le show de 50 Cent débutera à 21h30. Pour ambiancer la salle, 50 Cent a convié, non pas une, mais bien deux invités spéciaux. Alors, de qui s'agit-il ? Le public de Paris La Défense Arena aura droit, dès 19h, au set de  Jeremih , suivi du show de Busta Rhymes !

Autre info, et pas des moindres, celle concernant les transports pour rejoindre la salle. Compte tenu de la grande affluence attendue, l'enceinte recommande aux spectateurs de privilégier les transports en commun, que ce soit pour rejoindre ou pour quitter Paris La Défense Arena . D’autant plus que des travaux sont annoncés sur le boulevard circulaire pouvant « altérer la fluidité de la circulation autour de la salle » est-il précisé. 

Pour rappel, il est possible d’emprunter la ligne 1 du métro, le RER A, le Tramway T2 ou encore les lignes L et U du Transilien.

Attention, notez que Paris La Défense Arena comporte plusieurs entrées, différentes selon votre place dans la salle. Aussi, « l ’accès de couleur indiqué sur votre billet (jaune, rouge ou violet) vous aide à mieux vous repérer, mais ne représente pas un point de passage obligé au niveau des filtrages », précise l’enceinte francilienne, qui conseille de vous diriger directement vers les entrées indiquées ci-dessous :

• Les entrées pour le parterre fosse or se feront par la porte 32 ;
• Les entrées pour le parterre fosse se feront par la porte 33 ;
• Les entrées pour le niveau 1 se feront par les portes 5, 34 et 60 ;
• Les entrées pour le niveau 4 se feront par les portes 8 et 56 (les billets indiquant la porte 48 seront acceptés en porte 56) ;
• Les entrées VIP se feront par les portes 21, 39 et 55 ;
• L’entrée 38 pour les billets niveau 1
• L’entrée 56 pour les billets niveau 4

La salle recommande également au public de se présenter 15 à 20 minutes avant l’ouverture des portes et de ne pas arriver sur place avant 16h30. " Pour des raisons de facilité et de fluidité des accès, l’accès aux contrôles de sécurité n’est pas organisé uniquement par ordre d’arrivée des spectateurs dans la file d’attente, mais tient compte également de la catégorie de billet et de la fluidité du passage aux différents points " tient à signaler  Paris La Défense Arena .

Une fois le concert terminé, il est conseillé de rejoindre notamment la gare de La Défense (Ligne 1 / RER A) si vous souhaitez retourner sur Paris.

Pour toutes autres directions, rendez-vous à la gare de La Défense pour les lignes L du Transilien et le T2. « Si vous êtes en transport en commun en direction de Saint-Germain-en-Laye, Cergy et Poissy vous pouvez vous rendre à la station Nanterre Préfecture et prendre le RER A », précise Paris La Défense Arena . À propos - 50 Cent

Le rappeur controversé Curtis James Jackson, de son nom de scène 50 Cent, est né et a grandi dans le quartier jamaïcain du Queens à New-York. 50 Cent a vécu une enfance difficile, élevé par ses grands-parents entre deals de drogue et petites escales en prison.

Repéré par le légendaire Dj de Run DMC, 50 Cent sort un premier album en 1999, "Power of Dollar", dans lequel il décrit comment voler les stars du rap de l'époque. Ses attitudes gangsta le rendent hostiles à de nombreuses personnalités rap. Il survit à une tentative d'assassinat et perd sa maison de disque en 2000.

Il compose avec son ami Sha Money XL plus de 300 chansons remixant et dénigrant celles des artistes rap comme Jay-Z. Eminem et Dr Dre signent alors le disque qui le fera connaître en 2003, "Get Rich or Die Trying", et 50 Cent collabore à la BO du film d'Eminem 8 Miles .

Il fonde son propre label G-Unit et produit de nombreux rappeurs talentueux dont The Game. En 2005, nouveau succès avec l'album "The Massacre", qui continue à offrir une image brutale et violente de la vie dans la rue.

Après les excès et la frime, couronnés par un film retraçant son histoire, 50 Cent veut faire découvrir le vrai artiste hip-hop Curtis Jame Jackson dans un album sobrement intitulé "Curtis" en 2007.

Entre 50 Cent et Curtis, quelques millions de dollars… et l'affirmation d'une personnalité incontournable du milieu rap américain.

Le concert était super mais le son pourri c'est dommage pour un tel événement d'avoir une personne du son qui n'arrive pas à gérer ça a vraiment tout gâcher on arrivait même pas à entendre les paroles de 50 cent . Quel dommage
