Robert Plant and Alison Krauss Launch 2022 Tour: Photos, Set List
Robert Plant and Alison Krauss kicked off their 2022 summer tour with a 20-song set at the Marvin Sands Performing Arts Center in Canandaigua, New York last night (June 1).
You can see exclusive photos and the full set list from the show below.
It was the first time the genre-blending solo stars had performed as a duo since releasing their second collaborative album, 2021's Raising the Roof . As Plant noted from the stage at one point during the very hot and humid night, it was also the first time they had played a full show together in over 13 years . "So no panic here," he joked, later adding: "This is a very ticklish moment for us. I think we're doing OK? Good thing we've got some fans working."
Plant and Krauss were backed by a five-piece band featuring drummer Jay Bellerose, upright bassist Dennis Crouch (who Plant declared to be his "favorite musician in the whole world"), multi-instrumentalists Stuart Duncan and Viktor Krauss and guitarist JD McPherson, who also delivered a crowd-pleasing opening solo set.
The set list featured nearly every song from Raising the Roof , as well as a half-dozen from the duo's award-winning 2007 debut Raising Sand . Apart from a brief thank you from Krauss at the end of the night, Plant did all of the talking between songs. He also handled the slight majority of the lead vocals, with a voice that was strong, rich and full throughout the evening.
Krauss also repeatedly and effortlessly commanded the spotlight, unleashing soaring vocals on "It Don't Bother Me" and gorgeous fiddle playing on "Please Read the Letter." The duo's shared chemistry was evident throughout the night, most notably when they revisited Plant's Led Zeppelin past with a spine-tingling " The Battle of Evermore ."
Plant and Krauss are currently scheduled to conclude their 2022 tour on Sept. 4 in Austin, Texas. You can get complete show and ticket information at RobertPlant.com .

Robert Plant, (August 20th, 1948), is a British singer/songwriter, best known for his work as the lead vocalist and lyricist for the rock band Led Zeppelin.
Born in Kidderminster, Worcestershire, Plant was renowned for his trademark high pitched falsetto vocals, which lead to him being adorned with the title of the âgreatest singer of rockâ time and time again. In a Poll carried out by Planet Rock, Plant came out on top for the greatest rock vocalist, and the title stuck. Throughout his career, the musician has had significant influence on great musicians, including Freddie Murcury. Additionally, in 2011 he was awarded the 1st place nomination for the greatest lead singer of all time from Rolling Stone Magazine for his time in Led Zeppelin.
As well as releasing countless albums with Led Zeppelin, Plant has 10 studio albums to his name, 8 of which have achieved either a gold or silver status. Plantâs talent as a multi-instrumentalist has helped tremendously in his composition over the years, playing harmonica, guitar, bass, and drums.
After leaving home at the age of 16 to pursue his music career, Plant became a member of the English Midlands blues scene, and his early work was heavily influenced by the genre. Jimmy Page approached Plant after hearing about him through contacts in the circuit and was astounded that heâd not been snapped up by labels previously, and they immediately began collaborating, ultimately forming Led Zeppelin.
During the production of Presence in the mid 70s, Plant was injured in car accident on holiday with his wife, which lead to a delayed release, and several cancelled tour dates. Renowned for his onstage banter and narratives of the origins of his songs, his lyrics were influenced by a variety of sources, from Tolkien, to the untimely death of his son, catalysing his mystical and spiritual lyrics.
After the disbanding of Led Zeppelin in the 80s, Plantâs solo career took off to much success, with all of his albums being extremely well received. As well as solo tours, he also collaborated further with Page, and they produced several records and performed shows together.
Live reviews
Most rock performers that gain huge celebrity status in their early career tend to stick to the same formula whether or not they can pull it off or not, but Robert Plant is unlike these performers. Robert Plant knows he is aging and he has shifted his musical compositions into forms that he handles impeccably well. Other singers often do not have the nerve to shift their style of performance as they grow older, but musicians such as Tom Waits and Robert Plant know how to move with the times and end up venturing into new territories that see them producing the highest quality of music.
Robert Plantâs most recent concerts are a complete joy to see live. His shows contain a sense of maturity to them. He does not participate in the high-pitched shrieks and yells that he so masterfully produced in classic Led Zeppelin recordings, but his style has changed to the tune of more traditional folk standards, singing like an old soul with an angelic voice. It should not be a surprise that Robert Plantâs new style encompasses the ranges of traditional folk music. Robert Plant has been a fan of traditional folk standards since the early days of Led Zeppelin. The album, Led Zeppelin III, contains the folk standard, âGallows Poleâ, which Robert Plant frequently puts on his recent setlists. Robert Plant also performs other classic Led Zeppelin songs from his setlist such as âTangerineâ and a slow-downed, bluegrass rendition of âBlack Dogâ.
Robert Plant also tours with very skilled backing musicians. He has previously toured with the phenomenal bluegrass singer, Alison Krauss, who adds rich layers to Robert Plantâs songs by harmonizing in perfect pitch with him. Robert Plant has also brought other talented bands such as Band of Joy and Sensational Space Shifters with him on tour to perform new songs as well as some of our favorite Led Zeppelin tunes. Robert Plant is one of the most well respected singers still out there performing. Rolling Stone magazine has included him on the list of â100 Greatest Singers of All Timeâ and he has also been nominated for numerous Grammy awards. If you get a chance to see him live, Robert Plant will prove to you how his style has matured with him for the better and why he is one of the best singers still performing.

Robert Plant at the Roundhouse 12th Nov 2014 The two Support acts were good too! Nugent & Belle, The Last Internationale. By the time Robert Plant & the Sensational Space Shifters came on it was packed, unsurprisingly for someone like Robert in a place the size of the Roundhouse. It was a great intimate gig, slightly marred by the overcrowding and the idiot in front of me who was threatening to cannon into everyone around him. Robert Plant seems to grow & mature all the time and now covers many genres, so we were treated to a mix of familiar and new - all of which worked well. There were 4 "official" LZ songs and 4 others that shared the same roots as other LZ songs - but whilst the band could rock as much as LZ, they were free to play and re-interpret which freshened all the songs. I loved the oldies and the new versions but for me it was some of the "new" numbers such as Little Maggie, Embrace Another Fall and A Stolen Kiss that were the real standout numbers. It would be great if they put out a live album - I felt the latter two worked so much better live than on the album. I'd love to see LZ live again, but if I had to choose between that and the continuing adventure of a fascinating and stimulating singer and his new band - I'd go with the Space Shifters.
I went to see Robert Plant and his new band the Space Shifters in Hollywood last month. The year 2014. My expectations were low. The "It's only a ruma" was that the band would play 4 or 5 Zeppelin songs, but very low key, very slow, and almost so stripped down, you would not actually be able to tell they were once part of "The Led Zeppelin" arsenal. The first song was, slow, stripped down and sort of sounded like it had a tad of Zep in it. Then things picked up, and grew, and there it was, live and in full color, "No Quarter" A very Led Zeppelin song, and without any holding back. Holy crap. There was also "Ramble On" and "Gong to California" all played with full strength, no holding back, Led Zeppelin goodness. Before each Zep song, Robert Plant would say "Do you want to hear another folk song" The new music was equally surprising. Robert Plant and the Space Shifters are an evolved "Led Zeppelin" type of band. This was a stunning night, and it was one of "Those" nights. Music history was made. Holy cow am I glad I made it to this show. And I am glad I did not eat any edibles, and have to take a cab home before the show started, like what happened the last time I tried to see Robert Plant.
Robert Plant & The Sensational Spaceshifters - wow - they were fantastic last night at The Roundhouse. Took me back to my "hippie" youth, especially when he was singing Led Zeppelin songs, like Whole Lotta Love, albeit newer versions, which were, in my opinion, equally as good as before.
I love the new music from The Ceaseless Roar album, and the band of musicians are of the highest quality and have been getting great reception from audiences on their current tour and also at festivals this year. Their sound is unique and the whole band look like they are really enjoying entertaining the audience and playing music that they love.
Robert Plant may have been around for a long time but that doesn't mean his voice has deteriorated. His humour is a little wicked but more articulate than some bands who just expect the audience to join in all the time and shout "Hello (fill in the blank with the relevant town!). OK, so he momentarily forgot the words of an old song, but not the tune.
I've waited a while to see him again. I hope the wait isn't as long next time.
Having last seen Robert Plant (with his Band of Joy) at The Sage Gateshead, I was looking forward to seeing him perform songs from his new album with the Sensational Space Shifters. Unlike The Sage gig, Robert seemed really up for it tonight and the laid back folksy feel of the last gig made way for a heavier, harder rocking concert that Robert, his bandmates and most definitely the crowd lapped up and enjoyed. Robert's voice was as strong as ever. Despite a few sound problems for one of the guitarists, the sound quality was better than usual for the O2 Academy and the venue was much more appropriate for the hard rocking list of songs that RP and his mates performed. A good mix of songs from an extensive catalogue made sure that everyone, old and new, left the gig smiling and happy. Everyone I talked to or overheard were saying just what a great gig it was and I just have to agree. One of the highlights of the year for me (and I gig extensively).
I first saw TO with Zeppelin in '72 & many times before Knebworth in '79.
Since then I have had the great enjoyment to see him with various back ups ....but over the last few years with his current system, he has BLOWN my mind away in proving he has to be one of greatest icons of rock music!
A TOTAL STUNNING display of talent, amazing vocals and SUPERB back up. - each gig rotates different Zep tracks - in a GREAT style added to some amazing new material ..
DO NOT MISS THIS!!!
(Oh what an interview a volunteer Jock on local community radio for years would love ...but that is NOT the reason for my comments and FANTASTIC ADMIRATION of a TRULY fantastic gig.....
I was lucky enough to see Robert Plant in bend Oregon on 10-3-19. It was one of the best concerts that I have ever been to. The venue is small and it was outside next to a river. My seats were 4 rows from the stage so I could see and hear him perfectly. What a night and what a performer. He still is as charming as ever and his voice is still as clear and a joy to listen to. He played an array of Zeppelin songs as well as carry fire songs too. I traveled 12 hours by car to attend this concert and it was well worth it
The day started off rough with rain all day. Then all the tickets had to be picked up at will call window which created a mess. After standing in the rain for 2 hours to get in, it didnât matter - Robert Plant tore the venue up with his great singing and even did a lot of Led Zeppelin songs! What a fabulous band he had accompanying him! Awesome singer & band!
Venue was great. Robert Plant and Alison Kraus were absolutely magical. What an amazing evening. I had a flight to the Carolina's.. Just to see this performance.. Previously purchased second row tickets. AMAZING... How beautiful the voice collaboration of the two.. Did not want the night to end.. Can not wait until the next adventure...
Venue was great. Fantastic show! Roberts voice was superb! He sang songs I didnât expect to hear, hitting all the notes!
His band was also fantastic! Very talented group of guys. Iâm still amazed! Iâve waited 40 years to see Robert and Iâm thoroughly pleased. Thank you so much. Rock on...

Toyota Mississippi
Opening date: June 7, 2022
Location: Blue Springs, Mississippi
Whatâs special about the Toyota Mississippi Experience Center?
Toyota Mississippiâs 15,000-square-foot Experience Center was designed and built with a collaborative learning/training environment in mind.
One cool feature? An interactive light display thatâs projected onto a specially painted matte gray Corolla (above). Other exhibits allow guests to try their hands at actual dexterity exercises used in Toyota training processes. And the centerâs patio overlooks the marshalling yard, where Corollas are parked, sorted and loaded every day before the vehicles are transported to their new homes.
The building is in the process of becoming LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certified, the most widely used green building rating system in the world, which will make it the first building in Mississippi to have that distinction. The Mississippi site is also the only North America Manufacturing Center to have two indicator species, the northern bobwhite quail and wood duck, which are often visible from the Experience Center grounds and are a component of the education provided at the center. Partnering with the Wildlife Habitat Council, the indicator species help measure the health of an ecosystem.
The Toyota Mississippi Experience Center is open to the public from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., Tuesday through Thursday.

Toyota Indiana
Opening date: Originally opened in 2009; reopened on Sept. 26, 2022
Location: Princeton, Indiana
Whatâs special about the Toyota Indiana Experience Center?
The Floating Tundra display (above) is a hit with Toyota Indiana visitors and is the No. 1 location for selfies at the center. Putting the artwork together was an experience. The parts were delivered on large sheets of plywood, along with 323 photographs. Using the pictures as a guide, an in-house, six-person team worked for six months to reassemble and suspend the display. Itâs held in place with stainless steel aircraft cable. The exhibition showcases the relationship of parts coming together to make the vehicle. This idea of coalescing is an artistic rendition of assembly, which is a perfect fit for a leader in advanced manufacturing.
The Experience Center also has a Type G Automatic Loom on display (above). The fully functional loom was invented by Toyotaâs founder, Sakichi Toyoda, and is one of only two located outside Japan; the other is on display at Britainâs Science Museum. At the time of its creation, it was the worldâs most sophisticated and economical loom. Toyoda used money from selling the Type G patent as an investment for his son Kiichiro to begin a new division of the company â the automotive division.
The Toyota Indiana Experience Center is open to the public from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., Tuesday through Thursday.

This includes vehicle demand, supply shortages, factory floor renovations and construction, and staffing considerations. The Dearborn Truck Plant does not build vehicles during daily breaks, shift changes, holidays and weekends.
Please note that The Henry Ford cannot control Ford Motor Companyâs production schedule and cannot guarantee that guests will see the assembly line in full operation during their visit. The Henry Ford is also not able to refund tickets in the event that vehicles are not being actively assembled.
Regardless of whether vehicles are being actively assembled, guests will be able to view the Dearborn Truck Plantâs final assembly area via a fully accessible suspended walkway at all times. The final assembly area is only one part of the Ford Rouge Factory Tourâs five-part experience. All other parts of the tour remain unaffected.
The Dearborn Truck Plant will not be in active assembly during these dates in 2024 and 2025, following the plantâs holiday and maintenance schedule. The dates include but arenât limited to:
- January 1-2, 2024
- January 15, 2024
- March 29-April 1, 2024
- May 25-27, 2024
- June 19, 2024
- August 31-September 2, 2024
- November 5, 2024
- November 11, 2024
- November 28-December 1, 2024
- December 24, 2024-January 5, 2025
Active assembly is not available on Saturdays, and the tour is closed on Sundays. It also will be closed for a private event the morning of Wednesday, April 24, 2024.
