The boat itself was nice, however it was a smaller boat. We had about 12 people, I would say only about 8 people fit comfortably. The weather wasn't the best, but we made the best out of the situation. The captain, Hailey sent us a pin for the direction but it took us to a completely different area. We ended up at some apartment complex, we lost about 30 mins of our time. We figured we would be fine, but we came back to the dock about 20 mins early. We paid for 4 hours and we lost about an hour of our time. Hailey, was open to suggesting ideas on how to experience the lake but at the same time was really stand-off ish, she didn't look like she wanted to be there. Besides that the guest enjoyed the time we had but probably won't go through this business again due to the poor customer service we received.

Thank you for your feedback, Kim. I am sorry to read that you were dissatisfied with your experience with Battle Born Boat Rentals. We rent beautiful, brand new 25 foot double decker pontoon boats, and we provide a Five Star level of Customer Service. We have invested in the newest rental fleet on Lake Tahoe and this business is run by an extremely responsive owner who almost always answers the phone. Our boats are clearly pictured on our website and all other booking platforms with passengers aboard to accurately show how large they are. The more passengers you put on a boat, the more crowded things may feel. Capacity is rated by buoyancy, which is how many people a ship can safely keep afloat. Our boats are rated for 14 total humans, which is your group of a maximum of 13 plus your qualified operator. These ratings come from the manufacturer; they do not come from us. Our commercial slips are in the Tahoe Keys Marina. We created a helpful diagram with directions to our exact slip location, with a star on the spot our boats are located, to help our clients find us. This attachment is embedded into our guest confirmation/FAQ emails. I am guessing because this reviewer booked a reservation for someone else that perhaps that attachment was not passed on to the passengers who actually went out on our boat that day. The only time our clients would be returned to port early is if the Captain makes a safety call, or the guests have had enough time out on the water and request to head back to the marina. Cpt. Hailey states that the latter is the case here, and that the clients had enough time out on the water in imperfect weather and asked to return to port a little bit early. Cpt. Hailey has taken thousands and thousands of guests out on Lake Tahoe on our boats, and she has never received anything but positive feedback about her demeanor, her friendliness, and her competency as a qualified operator. We are required to keep detailed Ship’s Logs and meticulous online waiver records for our insurance company, and we see no “Kimberly Trujillo” in our reservation system. Had a great time on our boat rental in Tahoe! The owner was very responsive and helpful answering questions we had and our captain for the day was great. Really enjoyed the experience and would definitely rent from them again!

Rented the double decker pontoon with a slide on top, great choice! The boat was new (2021), with nice seats, storage, and came with a paddleboard and floating carpet and life jackets. Captain Roberto was excellent and assisted us to connect music to the boat for our party of 13, suggested great locations to stop at (Emerald Bay to swim around and view the island, and Camp Richardson for drinks and restroom stop). He kept us safe and navigated the waters easily. We rented the boat for 4 hours but would have happily rented it for longer. There was enough shade and sun on the boat. Tips: bring a jacket for windy moments on the waters, drinks can fit in the drink holders, don't forget the sunscreen! Thanks to Ross for the clear communication.

Chris was amazing, went with the flow and our bachelorette party had an absolute blast!!! He was respectful and fun, professional and I highly recommend!

Ross was easy to work with. The boat was nice and clean. Our captain Chris was super friendly and cool. We had a bunch of fun. We booked the boat for 4 hours which went by fast. We stopped at DL Bliss beach to swim and hang out, it was amazing. The water was clear and super refreshing. Then we went and boat around Emerald bay. I just wished we could of stopped at other beaches to swim. Will have to book for longer next time. Other than that, it was a great experience. Would definitely use them again.

What a fun day! Captain Mike was amazing and we had the best time swimming around Lake Tahoe!

Ross runs an absolutely great business. The boat is super clean, runs great and is fantastic condition. It's the perfect boat to get around Tahoe in both the main channel and some of the shallow areas of the inlet bays like Emerald Bay. We will soon be repeat renters given how great of an experience this was.

Amazing experience for our whole family! Captain Chris took us to the perfect spot based on what we were looking for! He was AMAZING with out kids and just created an all around perfect day on the lake!

Loved working with Ross and the crew. The boat was awesome, and the captain was super easy going and took us around to all the cool sites. We beached it, hung out on the beach for a bit, then went around Emerald Bay for awhile. We had the double decker pontoon and it was great size for 10 guys, good seats and sound system, and enough space for shade. Will definitely rent again next time we're in town!
